As a lover of music, I can appreciate it. And the vocals are really great
A 5 if you like folk music

I love U2’s early stuff. Their debut is a desert island record for me. Great songs on this one. Some that I had been tired of due to severe overplay on MS radio but nice to listen to the whole thing with a fresh ear
Already familiar with this one and I love it. Saw them perform the full album last (?) year. Was awesome. Great rock band, great rock record.
Liked it. Was familiar with the hits. If I see the vinyl I think I’ll pick it up
Easy one. I already love Maiden and this is of course one of their best.
I like punk but don’t really care for pyschobilly. Only gave 1 listen but had trouble staying interested
Don’t like it
Tried. Just not for me
Didn’t love it didn’t hate it
Didn’t love it didn’t hate it.
Definitely a 60’s vibe. Just not big on instrumentals.
I listened with an open mind since I had never heard of this guy, but no, could not find anything to like about it. Not sure how it wound up on this list to be honest
Didn’t have to listen because I’ve heard it 1000’s of times, but did anyway because of course
Not for everyone, but to me it’s beautiful melancholy
Great album. I am very familiar with CSN but never actually listened to any of their albums. Just picked up what you hear.
Def going to listen again
Not huge on hip hop but liked it and would listen again
10/10 desert island record for me
Generic. Forgettable. Did not need to hear it before I die
The music itself is good, but lyrics are important to me and I can’t understand this one. I think it’s Portuguese?
Not really a rap guy, but Public Enemy is good. Would listen again
Heard of this band of course but never checked it out behind the couple songs from radio play. I really liked this and will listen again
An obvious 5
This was heavier than expected, I liked it Will listen again
Always liked Rush, never heard this one. Will be back
This is actually a 6 out of 5
Not really something I would listen to, but it is a good album
Classic
Was kind of meh for most of it. I think I’ll give it another listen
Just ain’t my style. Didn’t care for it at all
IMHO one of the greatest albums of all time. 6/5
Not big on electronica but I really liked this and added it to my library
Not in my regular listening but it exceeded expectations to be honest
I tried. Had to shut it off.
Quite boring. And I was sick of that 1st song within a week of its release
Biased review. Already loved it
I’m not a big hip hop or rap guy, but Cypress hill is unique if nothing else
Meh
5/5 nothin else to say
I don’t know. Tried it before and wasn’t crazy about it. Tried it again when it came up here. Still can’t get into it
Five!!!
Very different than their later stuff of course. But hard to get into
No
One of the first albums I owned back in the day.
Maiden = 5. One of their early albums but great
It’s Frank, just way too dated for my liking
A little unconventional but not interesting to me
I really like this album a lot. Some of the songs kind of sound alike but to me this is better than his usual sound
Well this was different. Did not care for at first. Did like the part 1 and part 2 songs. Don’t know what to make of the 2 final shorter tracks. Overall it was interesting
I do like Beach House but this album was somewhat forgettable
It was better than the usual Fatboyslim songs I’ve heard on the radio
I didn’t know what to make of this one.
Probably the best live album I’ve ever heard
Classic
I’ve tried and tried. Just can’t get into Zappas stuff. I don’t like silly lyrics
Heard of this because of Woodstock I believe. Had never heard the album, it’s good. 60s psychedelic feel. It’s interesting if nothing else
Added a star for Come on Eileen not being on this album
Obvious 5
This isn’t even rap. I don’t know what it is but I don’t like it
Darlene Love and The Ronettes?? 5
Great groove. If you’re looking to get close with your significant other, this would be a great option
Good voice. Mediocre songs
Marvin Gaye slays
80’s nostalgia
Never heard of it and didn’t know what to expect. Will listen again, it’s different
Classic
Boring but I think that was the point. Don’t feel like I NEEDED to hear it
Flashback from the 90s. Quality hip hop
Rather forgettable
Not my favorite Dylan album but still great
Not for me
Boring but not terrible I guess
The whole time I was listening, I was convinced it was Duran Duran. Weird
Once again tried to listen but just can’t get through it
Sorry but I really dislike prog rock
Lovely
Painfully boring
Just find it boring and repetitive
Interesting but not that much
Solid 80’s rock album
It’s good. But the black keys can get repetitive
Not my fave beatles album, but seems odd to give anything less than 5
Ska music that was bearable. Nice
This was a new one for me. Didn’t know what to expect but I really liked it
Favorite clash album
Don’t know why this is here honestly
This was new to me. It was stark and hectic. I liked it
It’s a unique voice and sound but the album is very repetitive
This was a great album at an important time in this world
This is probably great if you like this style. Personally I can’t get past the vocals so I’m going middle of the road. 2.5
Listened twice. Didn’t hate it but couldn’t really find anything exciting about it
Great rock record
It’s a debut album but it could be a greatest hits record. Amazing
Of course TT is a great singer, but these are just typical 80 s pop songs with a few covers
I don’t dislike Roxy Music. Certainly don’t like them as much as whoever made this list
King of pop
When you go to Sunday brunch at a hotel, this is what is on in the background
It’s different but I didn’t love it. Not bad but probably wouldn’t go back to it
Basic singer/ songwriter stuff
I love their first 3 albums. This one is good also, really some great songs here
This album came out when I was in high school and the hits were Huge. Not sure it still holds up all these years later
New to me. Was interesting at least. Will spin it again
Not really my style but I didn’t hate it. Millions upon millions can’t all be wrong
Just noise.
Exceeded expectations
Nothing to dislike here
Calexico is a vibe
Listened to this years ago but didn’t love it then. I appreciated it much more now.
Very repetitive but was a good jam for a Friday at work
That’s why I like this thing. Here’s a band I know but only heard the songs you hear on the radio. The album is great. Listened 3 times in a row
Classic album from one of the biggest hard rock groups of the 70s
A natural 5 for those of us who already like Metallica
Probably good if you like dance music. I don’t.
I’ve tried, I just don’t get jazz. Everyone knows Coltrane is highly regarded so I don’t want to rate low so going middle of the road 2.5/5
I didn’t care for this at all
As an old U2 fan, I didn’t love this album when it came out, but I typically think higher of albums as time goes on. Takes me a bit to adjust
FIVE
10 actually
1st time hearing this classic all the way through. It’s great
Great live recording
Forgot about this one fro the 90s. Some good stuff here among the filler
Basic 80s rock. I think was a precursor to the hair band era
Hey it’s legal in Massachusetts. Mission semi accomplished
Greatest “comeback” album in rock history
I love Siamese Dream. Top 10 album for me. I couldn’t wait to buy this when it was released! Anddddd never cared it for it much. I still want to punch stuff when I hear tonight tonight come on. Zero slays
Coldplay is so boring. Don’t know how they got so popular
Obviously the title track is something, but the rest is pretty mediocre
Great 70’s rock record
As a lover of music, I can appreciate it. And the vocals are really great
5!
My favorite Dylan album
Stock morrissey
Never heard of this before. Not necessarily my style but I like it
Adele is more palatable than the average adult pop
I’m sure it’s fine. I couldn’t get through it
Have missed a lot of Radiohead. This is good
First time with the complete album. Great. His guitar sound is legendary
Probably good if you like jazz. I don’t.
First time listening to the actual album. Loved it
Never cared for husker du and this is sort of a continuation of that.
Meh
Probably great if you’re doing mambo and whatnot.
It’s not their best, but Velvet Underground is something
Basic reggae
Not for everyone I’m sure but I loved it
Too pop for me
Nice
Had high hopes based on familiarity with Games with frontiers, but found the album boring actually
Actually loved this. Very nostalgic for an 80’s child
It’s just not for me
Dance music
Nope
Honestly not sure what this was but I didn’t hate it
Not an R &B lover, so I’m going middle of the road. 3
Despite living hard rock, I have never cared for any A. Cooper songs. This album did nothing to change that
Doesn’t live up to the hype tbh
Don’t know why this album is here. Boring
Lovely
Found it boring. Read the back story after the fact.
I refuse. Don’t care how good it is or isn’t
Nah fam. Why this here
Boring overall, but not terrible
Lovely
This was a weird vibe
Better than expected
Every song is a 5
5
Did not like
Great singer but obviously quite dated material
Not terrible. Just boring
I have heard Killer Queen so many times that I now despise the song. Never heard the rest of the album. And it’s fantastic!
Never got the Fiona hype. Does nothing for me
This is great
Classic
Forgettable
Nothing exciting here
Just so repetitive that it bores me
Better than expected
Couldn’t wait for it to end
Exceeded expectations
I really dislike Yes. Always have. Gave it a fresh listen, nothing has changed
The album is better than the 2 singles that were released thankfully
No thanks
Janis was something else
All covers
An easy 5
Found it boring
No idea what this was but I liked it
Middle of the road DJ stuff
I can’t get into it
No
I remember buying this back in my youth when I was heavy into Floyd. Wasn’t what I expected of course and I hated it. Giving it a full lusten with adult ears, not much had changed
Maybe good if you’re on your way to renaissance faire?
I find it quite boring unfortunately
Didn’t know what to expect with this but I liked it. Cool vibe
At least it was short
Got boring quickly
I struggle with jazz, but this was a great performance
I can’t with this
Boring
Don’t really like Green Day but this is a good album
3 because I detest Nightswimming and Man on the moon both.
Feels very repetitive
Really is a great album
This list comes through again. This was new to me , great
Probably good if you like jazz? I really don’t so
Never liked Korn based on their radio “hits”. Listening to the whole album did nothing to change that. It’s actually worse than expected
Boring, bland, no business being on this list
Not interested
Boring
Tough to get through. And then there’s extra tracks ?! No thx
It had potential, but it’s weak
It had potential, but it’s weak
Typical 90s club music
Lovely
As a rock fan who was in high school in 1989, I’ve always had disdain for these guys. But this album is better than expected
Can’t even get through 2 tracks
Yeah. Techno
A 5 if you like folk music
No. Didn’t NEED to hear this.
Ok at the club maybe. On drugs
Don’t hate it, but can’t imagine I’ll listen to it again. Too long tbh
A weak start but It gets better as it goes
Alternative before it became a buzz word
Liked this more than expected and will spin again
Way too long but I dig it
Mind numbingly repetitive
Thought I would like it more than I did
That jumping jack flash sent me lol
Very polished pop rock
Had higher hopes for this but, it’s boring. And surprisingly repetitive
Felt like I was sitting in the doctors office
Wife used to love this guy until he went orange, so I’ve seen him live a few times and gotta admit it was a fun live show. Album is not bad if you separate him from it
Nope
Better than the other Coldplay album on here I guess. Hopefully no more
Better than the other Coldplay album on here I guess. Hopefully no more
Well, I like the Dead, so this is an easy 5 for me. I do understand the 1’s it gets though. Certainly not for everyone
Ok, ready for the renn faire
You know, when this started I almost shut it off. Stuck with it, thinking it’ll probably be a one or two. Ended up really liking it and listened a few times more
Great singer don’t care for the songs
Boring AF
Interesting at least
+1 because xtina is a great singer, -1 because thus did not need to be a double album
Sounds like show tunes I don’t like show tunes
It’s not good or bad. It just is
Unremarkable
Nonsense
Brothers Gibb are amazing
Checks all the gangsta rap boxes
I love the Rolling Stones. But this was their 1st album, and it was essentially all covers. Out of place on this list
New to me and will definitely spin again
Found it very irritating
Just not my vibe at all
