I cannot believe how low people have rated this hear. It shows that they're not in this to appreciate different kinds of music. As a huge fan of Syd Barrett Pink Floyd, this was a great revelation for me. There's just something so calming about this kind of trippy folk music. It makes you think of simpler times, and I don't see how the silliness of it doesn't just make you smile. Sure, it wasn't as put together lyrically or musically as early Pink Floyd, but it gives a great sense of whimsy and is just generally good.

One of my favorite albums ever, does that make me sick
This is just good music, also helped me to find out janis joplin sounds like robert plant when she wants and can sing really well when she wants
This was actually pretty good for what it is, I just wish they didn't sing about sex so much especially with young girls! But hey, that could just be me!
This was actually really fun, I'm surprised I'd never heard of them before this

Best album ever
Bonus star for clocks otherwise it bored me
Can't fault a man for jamming but I would've loved to see this without 8 minute intros to each song too
So much good about this album, but it was so long and there was as much that I didn't love.
Iconic
Nick Drake is really one of the gems of this for me. I liked five leaves left a little better but this has such a nice chill sound too.
Boring and monotone but not bad
Contrary to my last review this was bad
Didn't realize they just sounded like Bob Dylan
It's hard to believe this was ever good, but it certainly didn't age well
Potential but didn't get near it
One great song surrounded by terrible ones, though Starship at the end was at least interesting
Not bad, but I don't understand why it has so many listens. I guess you had to be there maybe
So talented but not something I'll come back to probably
Some good songs in the middle surrounded by complete garbage
So cool
So cool and pretty, glad he's not just a crossword clue anymore
She said was a nice new song for me along with my old favorite eleanor rigby but the rest is just good, nothing special
She must be Tracy Chapman's mother
Xtina, how and why did you make this so long?!
Not the music for me, of course it was made in Sacramento
Really good music backing loads of cheesy rhyming pairs. Also weird song about the confederacy especially when I thought these guys were Canadian
So unsettling. It’s only on here for “artistic merit” cause otherwise it is not a good album by any measure. Loved walking around town while he was screaming and killing his family and himself.
Just horrible
Can't explain why I love this so much, but the first song is just incredible
This was actually pretty good for what it is, I just wish they didn't sing about sex so much especially with young girls! But hey, that could just be me!
Incredible ambient music with even more incredible cover art. It just makes me happy and want to stay at the penguin cafe for as long as I want
I thought it was too much noise at first, but I ended up loving the album with its unique sound
Good not great
This will ruin the tour
So boring and almost bad, at least there were one or two good songs near the end
U2 but a little different
I still don't know if I like them or not
This is one that has to be on the list cause it defines a whole genre. It's not my favorite but it's still great.
This was great stuff, I liked it a lot better than funeral
Really fun band I had somehow never even heard of. I love when bands are funny and good at music even if they’re the worst band in the world
Some of the worst songs I've ever heard in among some really good ones that have a weird energetic sound. Just sometimes they let the sound get too weird and energetic and sounded like a dad that had many, many different drugs
It's definitely Frank Sinatra, can't argue with that
Amazing first song followed by samey sounding songs
I don't really like this type of music but it was still good, especially lost in music
Just like his other album I’ve gotten, it really is great music. Still not my style but I did get attached to Lost and Found so it’s a good day.
Another one with one great song and lots of mediocrity
Very difficult to get through, it was all the same
Good tunes
4 stars, and I wanted to like this more. The beginning just did not inspire me with the music but the vibes really were there. Even when he was explicitly sexual (it happened a lot) it didn't put me off or anything. Sounded kinda like Blur at different points
Decent for Stevie
This was genuinely horrible. It made me think of Suicide (NOT a double meaning) just in a different time with different drugs. And by that I mean it was genuinely horrible.
This album gradually wore me down song by song until I was resigned to give it just one star. I was bored out of my mind. Then in the last song she didn’t know how to sing it and talked about Ella Fitzgerald singing it in a crazy way which made me laugh. Don’t say I didn’t give it a chance
Enjoyable to listen to, they’re very talented
Very beautiful music and lyrics unfortunately sung by a much too old Lenny
Some great songs but mostly ones that weren't good at all
This was honestly fine, maybe better than I thought it would be. It was actually insane to hear the clear influence from Suicide on "State Trooper." That's definitely one of the coolest parts of this experience. Although why he chose to imitate that I'll never know...
This was really good stuff but not rating it too high because I won't be coming back to it later
Great voice and good music. Just dropped off a bit through the album.
Perfectly adequate; that is to say, not bad
I was hoping this was better since I had already liked some songs on this, but it was just more of the same
What
Intensely boring and the sound of the samba shakers nearly drove me insane on some songs
This is pretty good for jazz, but it’s jazz
Pretty fun and unique, but also not especially good
Wow that was really something
Perfect music for walking around the city on a rainy day, particularly if you're sleuthing
"F 2016, 2016 SUCKS" they said. It turns out people die. There were worse years to come that weren't ruined by old, heavily drugged people dying. I hope all the people who pretended to have loved David Bowie as soon as he died listened to this album as punishment. It's not even the worst, but nowhere near what this list should be.
This has one obvious hit single, but the whole album is full of fun, energetic, good music
Very good album throughout with only 1 real hit song
Did not like this one
Absolutely love this synth stuff, great music and sounds a bit like Mamman Sani my love
I was a bit surprised by this, there was a lot I liked in it. But it wasn't really that good except for American Girl
Really not bad, but it tailed off about halfway through. Would love to hear this with a real singer supporting the band
I think I would only listen to his greatest hits, this sounded like a bunch of the same songs back to back to back. It wasn't bad at all, but just a bit boring to listen to the whole thing.
Fine but a bit boring
Really like this. I already liked Cathy's Clown but the whole album was very nice
One of the classics that missed me
Good samples, great social issues addressed. But I just didn't care for some reason, maybe it was outdated for me. Definitely not enough to keep me interested
A ska band trying to move beyond ska. I didn't really like it as much as I like their previous album, 7 probably because of that. Not as much upbeat fast tempo music but there were some great hits here like Our House and Madness
I seriously don't know if it's a 3 or a 4 for me. This is obviously an iconic album, but it doesn't really grab me. I've never liked their pretend punk attitude and sound, but this album has some real classics that everyone should know for a reason.
Very close to being an all time great album, but the part between mother goose and locomotive breath just didn't interest me. Started and ended so well
Hated this at first, it felt like the beastie boys trying and failing to make their way into techno. By the end though there were some real jams
Not the best REM album, but Laughing is such a good song
Somewhere between a 2 and a 3
Really good stuff
Starts with a great song then it becomes usual U2, nothing too interesting
This was actually really fun, I'm surprised I'd never heard of them before this
Just a bit repetitive (some songs are exact copies), but definitely a step in the right direction toward good music
I'm very sad to not like this one. Maybe it will hit later in life, but I didn't really enjoy any of this. I'll definitely try again another time.
Listening to this album was like being a kid where there’s an adult trying to be cool and you can’t help but make fun of him with your friends as he seems just way out of touch but then you grow up and realize he may have actually been cool in his day and you start feeling a little bad for him. You’re left with a smile as you reminisce on the good and bad times
This shit is so good
I expected better from them
Wow, this was really bad. It was like subpar high school garage band music with either mumbling or screaming on top of it.
This is definitely one of the reasons i’m doing this. I used to think Green Day was on the really bad side of punk where you couldn’t believe they would actually do anything punk whatsoever. That may still be true but I have a lot more respect for their music and band as a whole
Really big stinker, Jeff!!!! Not a one star cause it does seem like it led the way to better things like led zeppelin
I didn't used to like Bob Marley cause he was the only Reggae artist known to white people, but this is pretty good stuff and I especially appreciate the songs from peter tosh (without even knowing they were written by him until now). Not so much into kinky reggae
I was always scared of listening to Talking Heads albums cause I thought they'd be too weird but I keep being proven wrong. This is another great, fun album and the core of Cities - Life During Wartime is incredible
Not all hits, but it's just good music with silly lyrics so you can't be mad
Just not very good
Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine. I love Patti Smith, especially Redondo Beach
I was ready to hate on this 9/11 classic, but everything except his rapping was actually so good I just can't hate
My favorite of his albums just because of golden years and word on a wing
Really good stuff
Some really good stuff, this experience is definitely improving my view of hippies and psychedelic music
Really not bad at all
Really good punk music without just being loud
This is just good music, also helped me to find out janis joplin sounds like robert plant when she wants and can sing really well when she wants
It had a nice, consistent sound. But it’s not one I really enjoy that much
I really like the idea of this band, but the music didn’t really show me anything great. I love that’s entertainment anyway
I really appreciated what she was doing on this album even though it isn’t my vibe
Music for a wine-drunk mom: bad poetry set to bad music
It would be nice to hear different songs
He hurried through this album like he remembered his wife was going to get out of high school soon, sounding like a white little richard
I wouldn't really call this good music
I could defend this album more if it was half as long, but it just wasn't good enough to justify
Exactly the kind of thing I can get behind to show off some originality and self expression. It only needs lots more originality and better self expression.
This is so bad! I don’t know how they made it past being a one hit wonder, they sound like a much worse U2
Some really beautiful songs but didn’t keep my interest the whole album
They clearly jumped on the loud, raw music early, but that doesn’t mean they did it well
Really one of the all time great albums
I can’t relate to the boringness of the midwest making you want to die, but I can empathize
Incredible singer sings great songs
I was expecting scary long jazz, but his voice is good enough to carry the long songs
The maker of this list had the responsibility to realize there weren't 1000 good albums and save us all some time. This was horrible, I laughed out loud at the end of the first song when stupid johnny rot started wailing or something. Not even Jah Wobble could save this
Not exactly my style, but I can see how other people would like it. Moon In June was definitely nice, but each song was 20 minutes
A really great new wave album, lots of hits and the lesser known songs didn't drop the level
One of my favorite albums ever, does that make me sick
I was trying to figure out why I hadn’t heard of these guys before I realized they don’t know how to write a chorus
Man they really get boring quickly, not a good band for albums
Mediocre early rock n roll and love songs
El Paso is one of the greatest songs ever. The rest were some very good country and western songs too.
Not Neil's best, but I did still quite like it
If someone put this on the aux I would crash
Not very good for listening to, but it was interesting to hear him explain things and it was probably important at the time
This was pretty good, especially for its time, but not one I'll be going back to
Bad
Some of this stuff is great and way better than happy sad which was extremely boring. Just lacking some consistency and direction
The only Gorillaz album that feels dated to me. Still great with a lot of nice music that really captures the time period
I don't really get it. I can't understand why there are so many passionate five star reviews defending this mediocre album. It was decent funky jazzy rock, but completely uninspiring. Any lyrics that stood out were just lame rhymes
As a fan of X, I'm not really sure why this album made it onto this list. It's really not great
I really liked this album a lot. It started very strong but kind of went up and down after. They kind of hurt themselves with how many instrumentals there are, but you can tell that’s just what they wanted to do. Very flaming lips sound
Some of these reviews are insane. Definitely deserved as one of the top albums of that decade. Pyramids and lost back to back is just crazy
Really good old country music. The highlight was the title track where a woman dies cause a man loves his horse too much.
Nit nit ni nit foley baloley
whining set to noise
Good music
Not as weird as they were trying to make it. The vocal distortions on lucy in the sky were just ridiculously bad and ruined what would otherwise be a great song. I did really enjoy Being for the benefit of mr kite.
I had never heard of them, but I really liked this album. Not something I will listen to again and again though.
Boring as hell early electronic for the most part. Utopia was a banger though
This sounded pretty dated, but she has an amazing voice
Some great stuff by the queen. Not as incredible to me as the sugarcubes, but really interesting music and she kept it solid throughout.
Wow, I actually really liked this one. It's like a better Queen Latifah. Definitely dated quite a bit, but still lots of fun
Just not great
There are definitely good parts of this, but it’s absolute torture to have to listen to an hour straight of this. Nothing but samples
I’m sure this is good music if you’re sad
Started off scared that this will be any other rock album, but it was a good album overall
This is the arctic monkeys
I really liked her, despite never hearing her before. This was a nice surprise. It was a bit like an updated patti smith with less swagger
Better than i used to give them credit for. They started something but the best is yet to come
Wow, I really loved this album. Definitely one of the best albums that's been new to me. I especially loved Faster.
Disappointed because I really liked the album I had before called "Traffic" by a stroke of genius. Although this title is amazing, the album is pretty lackluster.
Pretty good music, especially for its time
Not a bad album overall, and some all time great songs as well
Beautiful music
Pretty good album overall, some great songs at the start
Another banger from Neil, he can't stop
I gave this two the first time, but that was harsh. Here's a three
Guitar town!!! Great name for an album Steve, very cool. The music was pretty good and he had a good twang, but the lyrics were very dumb
Some of the best rap songs ever but the album is too bloated!
LOL I love this stuff
Nilsson, you could have had it all. One or two great songs but the rest is mediocre
I absolutely loved the first half of this album, but it really dropped off. Easy five stars if it were half as long
Are we serious? Five hours of songs and it's not even the Gershwins' best. Really disappointed because as an album this is not even listenable
It's an album full of james bond songs but none are THE bond songs
Not my favorite but it's alright
Didn't know a white woman from england was singing that
Man, John sucks. His voice ruins this album. One of the good things about this process is turning from a hater into an educated hater. I was previously a hater, but now I know the music is actually pretty good and it's just John ruining it. Even on the last song after I had been warming up to the album, John shows up to sing like a grandma. That song had really interesting, pretty good music too. But it also had John
Bold to take songs from the likes of Hank Williams and transform them into an album where everything sounds the same
Maybe the closest we'll get to the Platonic Form of singer-songwriter on this earth
Not a good album, it was just a worse version of doggystyle. This can be forgotten by history
Never listened to them before but this was awesome. Eruption especially and it's just a guitar solo
Some good parts, but nothing to justify listening to an hour and 10 minutes of it
I was bored about 5 minutes in. We should remember their single, not the whole album
It's hilarious how average this is
Beautiful album
My favorite part of any of Steven's albums are when they're over and I can return to my life
Really liked this album, potent with good songs
They got me, I listened to it. I won't be doing it again though
Honestly this is really good for what it is. Not in your face rock but good music. It did continue the theme of rock albums having ambiguous songs about underage women but this one was ambiguous enough!
One of the few albums I have every song liked on Spotify
Not great
This was awesome, started and ended very strong. A great, fun way to spend 30 minutes
I remembered this album fondly from my first listen, but I'm glad I listened again to remember how mid it is apart from some good songs
I was really not expecting to like this album other than the first two songs, but I was impressed throughout
I was actually sad none of the other songs were as fun as paradise by the dashboard light, but that was still enough to bump the album to a four
I can see why people really like this album, the music is a step above the other Cure albums we've had. Still not really for me though
YES I LOVE THIS. I love the range of the beach boys
It's poetry, but not very good poetry. Really liked the music too, but it's a bit ruined by PJ's singing
Wow, I was really expecting a lot since this is the highest rated album here. It absolutely does not justify that position, but I guess this album just has no haters. There are definitely 3-4 great songs, but the rest is really nothing specially
A lot of HUGE hits, and the ones that weren't were still good. I usually think Duran Duran is the most stereotypical 80s sounding band but these guys give them a run for their money
Completely mid
A unique part of the world of music
Interesting and mostly good but way too long you damn truckers. A love letter to alabama and the south will all its flaws
So hard to rate this i’m gonna not even try
How did this make the list? It’s good though
Wow, this was really great. I didn't expect much but this is pretty amazing 70s pop music, I loved the electronic parts and especially jungle
One of the best albums ever. I'd always heard good things, but I was still shocked how much I liked it
Totally average new wave music
I knew nothing about yes before this, I was usually a no man. But this is really good. Some songs are really amazing, but it's a bit hampered by being prog without progressing much (just making songs long)
This was a big disappointment. It's just utterly boring, like if you took the most uninteresting songs from led zeppelin's career
This is one of the all time great bands that I was raised with. This album starts great but sort of falls off a bit. At least you don't have any time to be sad about it
An interesting listen for sure, very good musically but not something to come back to
One of the best ever
A good album, but more in like a listening as a documentary way rather than an enjoy the music kinda way. A lot of good beats, but a lot of the same funky jazzy music which i don't really enjoy. The lyrics are nice though and I liked him repeating a few lines over the course of the album
Decent album altogether with one or two very good songs
I didn't really know anything about Cyndi, but this album is a bit of a powerhouse. I really enjoyed it altogether, but some songs in the middle fell flat
If they cut out half the guitar solos, it’s a great album!
Couldn’t wait for this to be over! But they made me wait a longgggg time
This is one of the nice things about this album, getting to hear paul who is otherwise forgotten. 60s pop by somebody not the beatles
don't get the hubbub
Not something i want to listen to as an album
I like the vibe of this album and the opening song is incredible, but there’s too many duds
2 stars not cause it’s bad, it just doesn’t need to be on this list. Nobody needs to hear this
Good early punk sound, but pretty average
The cutter is some tune. The rest of it was alright, it sounded a little like a better version of the cure
For a heroes and villains MEGAFAN, this was really, really cool to listen to. I do think it should be optional listening for us BBheads rather than mandatory, but I didn't make the list
I listened to this right before starting the generator, and it's even better than I remembered.
I can see why this is in the GOAT debate.. my kings
Not bad for what it is, but I generally don't want to listen to an electronic album
Started off with promise but it got old so quickly. I really rarely skip songs but i had to to get through this
I was really prepared to give this a three because the first few songs were good. But they somehow kept this album going for what seemed like an eternity with nothing else interesting. It was kind of like if Neil Young was born in Donabate but somehow found his way to California for one week only
I was expecting to like this more because I loved Moving Out when I heard it in Glee. This was like he took the worst parts of the beatles feel good era but put a piano at the forefront
Wow, I'm very impressed by this. As someone who's not a big fan of classic rock, this is definitely the best album of it's kind I've heard so far. I'll give it five stars for having so many hit songs as well
Decent album, sounds very 70s. Has a lot of weirdness, but not of the variety i'm really into. Seven seas of rhye has always been incredible though
Fair enough, this is decent music for 2012. I forgot about the song Default, so it's cool to hear it again
I liked the remix by his son more, such boring music you really can't listen to it as an album unless you're really trying to become a beatle
Even as a big damon fan, I find listening to most Blur albums is not really for me. I would say about every other song on here is good though
Such a good album, it absolutely deserves to be on this list
Wow, this was so dull. It's so badly overproduced with hardly any interesting substance. If she wanted to show how much she likes sex with Jay Z, she could have saved everyone's time and released a sex tape
This guy is just so weird. I did love the heaps of sheeps though. If all his music was like that I would be a fan. But it's not all like that...
Not much of worth in here other than a few funny rhymes. Even like a rolling stone, which should be a good song, is 6 minutes long for absolutely no reason
I guess I'm listening to something else. This just feels lacking substance. It did seem to be a sign of where alternative music was headed though
I can absolutely see why this is rated so high. It's really impressive that this is from 1970. Very good early metal music, but I can't give 5 stars to an album with rat salad
This is so difficult to rate cause it's so unique. His voice is very strange but the music was fun most of the time and I enjoyed it
This was one of the most forgettable albums so far, but it did end well
The heights like welcome to the jungle are counteracted by the terrible singing, especially on songs like mr brownstone
I was not really enjoying this until it got to good kid, but even after that it was just alright
I don't really get the hate for this album, I'm glad I listened to it
Started off with a great song and great promise, but the rest of the songs didn’t follow through. Good guitar and good voice
I have really liked a few of these songs for a while now, but the album is just too plain and boring
In each song, one Cocteau Twin makes up some new gibberish while another Cocteau Twin plays the same music
I like this album a lot, but probably won’t be coming back to it much. Think they really could have made it big with a different singer…
Not as good as paranoid but still good music. Changes was a standout
The best of these samey songs are the country sounding ones, so it makes sense they followed with a country album
This was really a great album, very enjoyable early alt rock
I guess I just don’t like the funk cause this didn’t do it for me. There were two fun songs for me but the rest was not my style
This isn't a great album, but it's easy to listen to and had some really fun songs
This is a really nice album, some good ole geetar strummin. Somewhere between tim buckley and nick drake in my mind, I really enjoyed listening to him
An all time classic 90s album. I don't love it, but it's so quintessentially 90s I enjoyed listening to it
This is a really decent album, kinda sounded like SZA but with more classic r&b
This one had some good songs, but as an album I can't say it was good
I never liked hearing the pretenders on the radio, mostly due to chrissie's voice. But, I gave them a fair shot here
As much as Alex tried to get me to hate this, I couldn’t
A little too much sonic, just the right amount of youth. Somewhere between a 3 and a 4, but I’ll give a four since I liked it
I don’t really think elelctronic/ dj albums like this and fatbot slim are for me. Especially the looping spoken word or vocals
A great voice over good punk music
I really like music and harmonies like this
I guess she saved the best for last, this was not very enjoyable
It was just a mediocre led zeppelin album, but from gallows pole on it gets a new dimension that improves it and makes it more unique
Not the most engaging Bjork album for me, but I still liked it
Very good music, but I won't be going back to it
All this, but no surprises for this year's elvis costello album
I really enjoyed listening to this, it's a piece of history
Laughably bad... at least i was able to laugh at the rapping efforts and some random noises
Not bad, but very generic hard rock at a time when everything had already been done
I think there's a lot of good stuff here. It has a sort of melancholy that reminds me of nick drake or radiohead, but it's his own brand and it's unique. Still a little long and not many if any standouts
Not great listening for me. Just sounded like a lot of early rock and roll covers which is not my style
This was a little worse than the other megadeth album. Not sure how I came to this conclusion since it sounds exactly the same
It was very forgettable african inspired jazz but it was decent
proves he isn't a nepo baby
Not sure what was in here that I had to hear
They're so iconic. Loved the first song, and the atmosphere created throughout was so well done
Wow I really loved this. Funny and a great early punk sound
This just isnt very good. Freedom is fine but following with a lil stevie cover is unforgivable
Terrible derivative of blur and oasis with cheesy rhymes on every line. Alternate title: Music For a Troubled Second Grader
This was alright, the woman reminded me of the XX
Pretty good music most times but I did not enjoy the singing
Nothing special here but a good sound
I didn't enjoy this too much, but it's a good old school sound
This was definitely heavily produced in the studio and a little long, but I like the ideas
I think I fought Tarkus in Donkey Kong 64
It’s nice he could make this passion project, but sadly I don’t share his passion for mediocre jazz easy listening
Good classic country music with bad classic womens roles
interesting that this is on here cause i'm not sure why, it's a period of progression between the 80s and jack white that's easily forgotten
Really great punk album. Even if you didn't like it, it's over soon
I loved the sound of this album, it came to me on the perfect day
Lots of good/decent popular songs on here, but I will never be going back to this most likely. Gets an extra star for tony soprano
This was a really enjoyable album even if it's not perfect. Great guitar and singing, I understand why the Clash liked him
I got tired of being preached to after 3 minutes and luckily that was the end of their over the top lyrical messaging telling us how bad everything is. Oh wait
The first song “honey” was lit but the rest was just alright to pretty good
So many classics
This is an hour and a half long. I would say I enjoyed the music a lot, but it was an hour and a half long.
I’m not sure this deserves five stars because there was a pretty big fall off after four songs. But those first four songs were just incredible and it felt like falling in love
Great first song, but imo there’s no reason to listen to the album if you’ve heard the byrds and other 60s music
She did save all the great songs for this album, but the first half is so much better than the second so I can’t give five stars. Could have been balanced better
I started off liking this album, and I was prepared to be nice but then it was a full album of morrissey, he couldn’t help it
This just isn’t music made for me
The music isn’t bad at all. But a 2+ hour long album is a huge ask and I definitely don’t think this mash up helped anyone. The orchestra could have been integrated a lot better
This album as a whole is pretty aggravating. I liked the vibe better when I was 20, but I think it has aged poorly and isn't really cool at all now. It's a long album filled with similar funky rock and a masterclass in Kiedis rapping. There are enough good parts to save it, but I really don't like this personally.
This was so boring to me, but there were some decent parts in the second half
Utterly forgettable
Nothing really stood out to me
I liked this as an atmospheric album, it can definitely hit on its day. I especially liked some parts of Seeland
Just the kind of old interesting music that I LOVE. I’m completely unable to rate objectively
I would have enjoyed 36 minutes of just American Pie, but this was good enough
How were we not tired of this same formula by now. It is a good formula, but this is the same as his other albums with I Want You sandwiched in
Certainly not an album I had to listen to but not the worst thing ever. I would be worried if someone said Simply Red was one of their favorite artists thiugh
It started off strong but took a slow descent into Morrissey
Really impressed with this, feels like she should be more well known
Absolutely love this album. It's so weird and blends punk and new wave with country instruments. Really love how original it is
This is some crazy 60s experimentation, especially with the aliens I was laughing my butt off. I liked the different sounds but i only really liked one or two songs
Not my favorite album, it's fine but pretty same-y. Not a fan of the jokes between songs
Not a bad listen but it wasn’t great either. I liked the start of it
This was everything I don’t like about music. Boring, repetitive, slow, and soft. Many albums on this list have been one or all those and still been good. This one not so much
Perfectly average. I’m sure it was an inspiration for better things
A very decent album with a consistent sound
Really fun music, cohesively out there album. Incredible achievement by just some guy so early on
Really didn’t like this. Like a more boring XX and I did not like her voice
Not my favorite but i do like knowing how joan of arc felt
A very good and consistent sound
I liked this a lot. A blend of 60s psychedelic and late 80s alternative had to be done really well and it was
Didn’t enjoy this a bit
Pretty mediocre album for me, but on the good side of mediocre with some nice music
This was longer than it should have been which gave it enough time to have lots of bad/mid songs and a few good ones
This is so mediocre and on par for the genre
I’m glad they were in their 30s cause the lyrics were kind of weirdly mature. It’s a decent britpop album with lots about shagging girls but common people makes it a 4
Really enjoyed this sound better than their next album (although alone again or is a better song than anything on this album). Could have done without some of the 15 minute end song though
Really like this sound but the album was very long and kind of samey. Some good to great songs in there though
The first song was garbage, but at least they set the bar low so I could enjoy the other bad songs a little more
Could have easily just played black hole sun and told me the rest of the album was just like that but worse. Would have saved me some time on a Tuesday.
It's a weird one to rate, but I personally didn't enjoy it really at all. It's just so plain sounding
Really good stuff, a fresh take on country and she has a great voice. Some really great songs in here
Such a good sound
This was awesome and hilarious (unintentionally). Some cool repetitive chants and this album was headed for a 4 but fell off
At first it just sounded like Kiss with a better singer, but it kicks on after about 4 songs to a more well rounded album. Thank you bastille for covering the title track, you did it better kings
My brother sent this to me years ago and I only remembered oh shit. After listening to it again 5 minutes ago, I still only remember Oh Shit (and passin me by is very good) because it's a bit outdated and long
Some really great stuff for me in here, I'll have to listen again
A fun and different album, but it can just be remembered for the hits like who discovered america
Good sounds and ideas but seems not fully there yet
Really great stuff. The first five songs are all generation-defining and the rest of the album is still good
Bloop bloop doo doo whirp whirp
Really great album, not really any standout track but the whole thing is great. Could be cut down quite a bit though
Not the best way to listen to johnny cash or even johnny cash in prison but it’s good and funny
Really like this. I listened to their 2020 album which was also good. This might deserve to get a 3 but there are no rules
This really isn't my brand of real life or fantasy. It has a lot of hallmarks of 80s music but with her unique twist. I only really resonated with The Big Sky and found some parts of Waking the With very fun but others awful
I've become a big fan of neil young through this process but not of buffalo springfield. This was kind of bland and all over the place, it picked up a bit towards the end but still not my favorite
It’s a mix of 60s psychedelic and 90s (mostly djing). It probably isnt that bad but it gave me no joy
Big and loud. The good parts and ideas are hard to hear under the monotonous noise but theres just enough to save this from a 1
It’s too bad the last thing he does is realize he’s out of tune. This is among the worst and most forgettable albums so far. It has that 90s angst grunge selectively noisy thing going on that a few other bands did much better things with!
Pretty awesome album, so glad this is on the list so I could hear them
Really didn't like this. Way too boring jazz/blues LAMEO
Really a fun album
I don’t understand why this wasn’t just the arctic monkeys and I also don’t understand how you can call this a supergroup. Need another name for something like this where it’s really just a mish mash. Maybe a mish mash. Start of the album was pretty good but it fell off. Very james bond
I was pretty disappointed with this cause I really love the opening track a lot. Rest of it was completely blah and samey
Amazing album cover and idea for an album, very professional. Blue skies and I don’t get around much anymore were the standouts for me. I didn’t know a lot of these songs before.
Man we did not need to hear this. Hated hearing this guy’s voice on this album and nothing memorable at all
Genuinely one of the most boring things i’ve ever heard, even the harmonies were underwhelming. Sounds like a worse version of what the nitty gritty dirt band did
Really didn’t like this, it felt completely jumbled. Feels like they spent the album stumbling into some good parts on where is my mind and retreating back into whiny unfunny harsh noise
Really liked this especially the title track and streets of laredo. Kept things quick and fun
I thought he would just be edging the whole time after the first song but at least there was more going on than just guitar. Still sounds like music 70 year olds have sex to
Enjoyable to listen to, a few bops
Really good stuff. They're fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n on the autobahn. The first and last song carried, I could do without the middle songs.
It’s good but seemed to be performative at points. Didn’t really stick with me but i respect the talents
It’s great, what else can you say. Paul Beatle even showed up and said hi. He’s a pedo though and the last three songs were boring ah
Sounds like the transition from 80s synth to 90s electronic/dj. Not bad at all
How can you not love them, they get it
Pretty average for the beach boys which is pretty good
