Had this the day after Ozzy’s death - not really listened to Black Sabbath (or metal generally outside of the big hits Paranoid for example), but actually thought it was pretty good - hovering between 3 and 4, but given the timing gone 4

It’s an ok album - all songs are listenable, but just ok - nothing standout throughout

Not my favourite genre, but keen to give it a go - many of the tracks on the album have a similar construction and rhythm - certainly hasn’t left me keen to explore their wider catalogue

Good album - all tracks decent - Mr Brightside suffers from over exposure, but shouldn’t undermine what a great song it is

Enjoyed this as something I would never normally listen to (which is the beauty of the random album generator) - don’t think I’d revisit though

Struggled to find the complete album, but listened to their “hits” on Spotify which covered most of the tracks, plus a few others and tried to pick off the rest on YouTube - quite enjoyed it!

Great album - No duds - Little Red Corvette and 1999 really good songs - would have probably gone 9 if out of 10 - settled on 4 - was really good but not 5 out of 5.

Nice voice - chilled out sound - I really enjoyed the first two tracks (the hits) and Sally - the rest fine, relaxing listen.

Not my thing, but quite enjoyed it initially, Ace of Spades is obviously a classic, but it got a bit repetitive towards the end - get why it’s popular especially amongst teens and young men, much better than AC/DC in my view

It’s what I think of when people refer to a concept album - some great tracks - comfortably numb one of the all time classics. Some of it felt almost like a musical “Trial” had shades of Les Miserables

Bit more mellow and experimental/hippy (possibly not quite the right word (maybe not pc these days either??)) than the sound you (I certainly do) associate with the Beach Boys (Pet Sounds being the classic example) quite enjoyed.

Wasn’t a huge fan at the time, but this is a quality album - almost a 5

An experimental masterpiece - as an album it’s not necessarily one you’d return to regularly, but truly impressive

Superb album - not listened to the whole album before - can see its influence on two tone, libertines to name but two

Really enjoyed to start with - challenge was the sheer volume, started to feel like a bit of an endurance test!

Interesting, but not a great album to enjoy listening to again - a bit cliched angry young man….
