Appetite For Destruction
Guns N' RosesSurprised by Axl’s vocal range. Not my favourite - may have to listen again sometime to enjoy it more.

Lean more towards a 4.5, but since that isn’t possible, 4 it is.
I would definitely like his music more if his voice was different. He definitely has an overall Americana feel to his music’s instrumentals.
Definitely sounds dated. Not sure how I feel about the harmonica as an instrument. He has an interesting voice… better than Bruce Springsteen’s.
A way better listen than yesterday’s BD album. The harmonica and his voice fit really well with the rest of the instrumentation. Liked the blues sounds that popped up throughout.
Overall nice project - enjoyed the funky sounds that popped up throughout!
Overall great, straightforward, and solid listen.
His voice was really interesting throughout - at times entertaining, at other times a little too much (accent wise), but very much like an instrument that added texture. Nice listen.
Tough listen personally - a lot of moments where I hear interesting sounds (that probably influenced bands in the 90s and 00s), but a lot where I just hear “noise”.
Some great guitar and rhythms. Had me bopping my head a lot throughout the listen.
I could see this influencing daft punk. A 20 minute song was a little too much though.
Meh. Nice voice and instrumentals, but this is really not my thing.
Solid. Only issues I had were some of the random screaming and noise like guitar feedback that popped up from time to time.
Different, but nice.
Straightforward, easy listen. Something I’d see played while road tripping.
Nothing crazy to me. Hearing a western-African fusion was a little interesting.
I recognize this having some solid sounds and likely being influential for when it was released, but I was not in the mood to hear this today.
I feel like it was trying to come off as being deeper than it actually was. Maybe I was missing something.
Amazing voice. Easy listening, like something you'd hear in a cafe. Not my thing, however. A lot of it all blended in together, with nothing really standing out.
I don't think I would go out of my way to listen to this, but if it was on, I wouldn't change it. It felt like a live-jam session.
Relistened to this. Still holds up like it did when it was released.
The second half of the album was soooooo much better than the first half. Still not particular towards his voice, especially during the first half... the second half's instrumentals complimented his voice more though. Would have rated this higher if it was just the second half.
It irked me how he'd have great instrumentals going and then would do something to make it weird. Unfortunately his accent was too much for me as well. Overall just too whimsical for me to enjoy.
Short, but it felt very dense with the amount of songs that were present. There was a point where things did sound a little repetitive in the last third, but overall this was great.
Overall just a pleasant listen.
Amazing. I'm happy this was suggested - I haven't listened to it since the first time I heard it five years ago. I'm happy this album made its way back to me.
Fantastic recommendation. I was wondering when Spanish albums would pop up.
There were moments throughout that perked my ears - a lot of the rest was solid background music. Why do you need a song that long to start off the album?
Solid. Made me think of Nirvana, but just a step below.
Based on the first song I had expectations that ultimately weren’t met. I thought the album would be something it wasn’t. Cool sounds throughout, though.
Epitome of cafe music to me. Definitely felt very early to mid 2000s. It's has pleasant songs, but this album/style isn't my thing.
Transported me to the 90's. I felt like I was watching The Matrix while I was listening to it. I felt like it dragged, though.
I now understand why this isn’t seen as a “true” OutKast albums and instead two solo albums. Interesting sounds on both, but the magic of the group wasn’t there like on other projects.
A classic.
Nice rhymes and old school beats.
Solid. Nice to have in the background.
Really great! So many interesting sounds throughout.
Not for me. The voice reminded me of Owl City. Like nails on a chalkboard.
Was not my thing. The singer’s voice reminded me of the voice of the singer in Owl City - like nails to a chalkboard.
Solid album with a lot of great energy throughout.
Great production!
Sounds like some guys from the UK heard the song at the end of the Breakfast Club and decided to make a whole album around it. Very meh sounding to me.
A personal favourite.
It was nice, but it felt like it dragged after a while.
Hearing this makes me think of a simpler time.
Really wish half stars existed instead of full stars. Would be higher, but I'm not going to round up.
He had a different, yet pleasant voice. Overall this album was pretty relaxing to listen to.
I really liked this!
This was good - would have been better without the skits.
Dated sounds, but love instrumentals and rhymes.
Great energy like the other album I heard from them.
There are a lot of times throughout I don't like his voice and other times it is okay. The title track is the worst offender. Nice songs throughout, but I personally can't get over his voice.
Tough album to go through. The way he played with his voice made things difficult.
Sounds dated, but very pleasant sounding overall.
This was a nice country sound to me!
I ended up enjoying this more than I thought I would. I’m glad it wasn’t just music sounding like it was made for The Matrix.
Great energy from start to finish.
Unexpectedly better than I thought it would be for an unplugged album. Doing lesser known songs and covers was a great direction.
