Love this album.
The best concept album. Amazing masterpiece. Love this album.
How can you not love the wall. Such a landmark piece of music that has such wide appeal. The guitar is great, the lyrics are great, Pink Floyd is just pretty great
this is one of the easiest 5’s i’ve given so far. just an amazing album in every respect
If i would rate the album based by songs it would be a 4 but rating the whole album as an experience is a 5
Masterpiece, movie was amazing too, lyrics kill it, music is great
Nearly as good as Dark Side of the Moon 😁
This is a masterpiece.
A couple of days ago the generator generated Tommy and now The Wall. Just like Tommy the lyrics on their own are not so special but the music and the overall atmosphere is as great as ever of course.
My generator algorithm loves Pink Floyd, apparently. I’ve gotten 3 of their 4 included albums, and this is only album #62 today. This is not a complaint. I recently saw Classic Albums Live perform this album, so I didn’t do a full listen again today. I highly recommend going to see CAL if you’re in Canada or the USA. Anyway, this album is amazing and it’s obviously an automatic 5 stars. This is the 7th album the generator has given me that I already knew.
5/5. Perfection.
The soundtrack of my early teenage years. I've certainly watched the film as well. I think there are still things I'm coming to terms with with this album. Aspects I do not understand. It is one of the most complex and rich albums of all time. You could teach a semester on this album.
Buena mezcla y buenos temas.
I absolutely believe that everyone in the world should hear this album at least once BUT they should also watch the film. 5/5
It's understandable why this is considered one of the world's best albums ever. Every song is its own planet, on a very specific and cohesive solar system.
Tough to even find new things to say about Pink Floyd. This album is a classic and definitely one of the best concept albums of all time.
Wow. This is incredible. The instrumentals on this album feel so lush and refreshing and feels new despite it being over 40 years old. I had high expectations for this album since I listened to dark side of the moon but this blew them out of the park. The transitions are seamless and the concept is incredible. Truly a fantastic work of art and an incredibly influential album.
This is more than just a regular album: it's an experience. It tells the story of a rock star's descent into insanity, but it ends with a glimmer of hope. I would give this album 5 stars just for Comfortably Numb alone, but the whole thing is awesome.
El combo In The Flesh y Run Like Hell tiene un lugar especial, así como Is There Anybody Out There? y Nobody Home.
Roger Waters' recollections or tales told by his family of London during the Blitz. Pink Floyd's magnum opus.
I began listening to this album for the first time just enjoying it as some good rock but a couple of songs in, I was reading about it and realized it was a concept album. It became an entirely new experience then to read along with the plot of the album and hear the songs that correspond with the story it was telling! Not only is it great music, but the idea behind it makes it so much more powerful and impressive!
Wow. Wow, wow, wow! I've heard the popular songs off this album but I've never listened to the entire thing and holy shit was I missing out. Amazing album all around. I loved every second of it and I'm a bit sad I'll never get to experience that first listen again.
This is a complete album, with excellent musical qualities and really solid vocals to go with it. This is an album meant to be listened to in its entirety and there really isn’t a disappointing song. So surprisingly good.
Fantastic story and album. Loved the whole thing front to back.
Yeah judge, shit on em!
Remember listening to this CD over and over again on my dad's stereo system as a kid. What a great album, with a mix of sounds and types of songs, and interesting stories woven into the proggy soundscapes. Love this.
Rock sinfónico.
in the flesh? UF MEN como vas a empezar un disco así tremendo te engancha del principio EL SOLO DE THE THIN ICE another brick in the wall p1 y 2 🛐
Amazing concept album - worth watching the film as well
An absolute classic.
I have a very vivid memory in middle school of several teachers huddled around a desk after class one day. I went over to see what they were looking at and someone had written/carved into the desk: Goodbye cruel world I'm leaving you today Goodbye all you people, there's nothing you can say To make me change my mind. Goodbye They were in a right panic trying to figure out who's desk it was. Still makes me chuckle. Bonus fun fact: Pink Floyd The Wall is the only movie I ever owned on Betamax. I did not, however, own a Betamax player. Anyway. What can you say about The Wall. My life wouldn't be the same without it. A singular achievement which very much belongs on this list.
one of the best albums of all time
Fantastic album, pleasure to return to and give a listen after almost twenty years
In my mind, this is what albums should be - a set of songs thematically linked, telling a story rather than just a collection of songs the artist wrote in a certain window. There are a lot of valid criticisms, The Wall is self-indulgent, a reflection of Roger Waters' ego, and it does contain songs that exist purely to drag the story along, which wouldn't stand up when listened to on their own. However, I don't think this detracts too much from the experience. There are songs that on their own are part of rock history, but this album should be consumed as a whole. This isn't the best Pink Floyd album, but that does not mean that it is not an incredible album-cum-experience. It is more of a musical soundtrack than anything. I could write about this album all day, but I have better things to do.
5/5. Best Album objectively 👍
I had been waiting patiently for this album
One of my favourites album.
4.6 - A supreme road trip album. Ideally consumed in its entirety in one sitting. Each song fits together like a puzzle piece to build a narrative arc that involves a misfit who won’t conform to an authoritarian regime, gets addicted to drugs and whores which leaves him feeling lonely and ultimately drives him insane. In the last quarter of the album we follow him from institutionalization, to crime, to recrimination. And he’s ultimately executed. Heavy! Lots of amazing and familiar songs along the way (“Comfortably Numb”, “Run Like Hell”, “Young Lust”, “Hey You”).
It's a story. It's a well crafted story of education, hope and despair. And it needs to be listened to as an album rather than one track on a playlist. Hell, the whole album should be passed off as one track
This album just gets better with every listen. This is only my second PF album from the list with 2 more upcoming in the final 140 albums. A new appreciation, easy 5 stars: Run Like Hell really caught my attention on these listens.
Been a while - still love this.
This was going to be a 5-star before I listened again, but it was a real treat go back into this album with purpose and desire to look into it more deeply.
Of course Mama's gonna help build the wall... Depressing, dark, psychotic, disturbing and some how beautiful, just absolutely brilliant. It's shame Waters was(is) such a narcissistic dbag and this was the last great piece of music he and the rest of the band ever made.
While there are couple of individual tracks that are great stand alone songs to listen to this record is best consumed as a whole, listening to its entirety in sequence. When it is, it’s a product of brilliance. As such it’s a 5. If thought of as a traditional collection of individual songs it would be a 3.5 or 4.
Taken as a whole, it's pretty amazing. It has some parts that sort of drag for me, but I think they may be necessary in the concept album as a whole. It has some of their best singles, with Hey You, Comfortably Numb, and of course, Another Brick in the Wall being stand outs. Not my favorite Pink Floyd album, but it's still great.
A phenomenal album. The transition from Part One and Part Two of Another Brick in the Wall is perhaps the greatest in all of music.
There is nothing else like this sound. Been listening since it released
Great story and album. 100% classic.
Hadn’t listened to this full album in a number of years. Loved it, brought back memories of high school sitting in the basement listening. Obviously one of Pink Floyd’s greatest, guitar work is superb themes of war and darkness throughout.
Masterpiece!
Weird that Pink Floyd made an album based off of a nostalgia critic review. But still, a very interesting album overall.
Such a seminal album, this was my first full listen to it and its an amazing concept that really hits hard. The overarching story throughout takes you on a the titular "Pink's" journey that was likely similar for many post WWII children, from their experiences then moving onto adulthood an the trials, tribulations and insecurities that come with growing up and being a part of a post war world. Best: Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2 Worst: Waiting for the Worms
This one was already special to me. It's been on my list to watch the movie again, listening to the album only made me more excited about that. (:
An epic undertaking and David Gilmour is a master guitarist. Standouts include: Another Brick in the Wall, Mother, Young Lust, One of my Turns, Hey You, Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell, and Waiting for the Worms. I might be getting loose with the 5 star ratings, but an ambitious project like this with so many infectious songs is worthy, I think.
"Isn't this where we came in?" I have been listening to this album for almost 40 years. My feelings for it have evolved as I have. Learning things about the album and the band as I have read more and more. Pink Floyd is not my favorite band, but they are definitely one I can always turn to and listen to for a good 60 minutes or so. There is so much in the Wall that is similar to a lot of double albums. Somewhere in the middle, things start to meander a little ("Nobody Home" / "Vera". They're good songs, but still....) and then "Comfortably Numb" just floors you. Man, does it floor you. This album could not be made today. ("In The Flesh," anyone?). And the movie... yikes. I like Animals more, but still, how could I not give this 5 stars?
I have spent my entire music-aware life (so say from about age 11) claiming I do not like Pink Floyd. I have never listened to them except for singles on the radio, if I didn't change the station. I know most of their popular songs, but Another Brick Pt 2 was about the only one I would ever listen to. My cousin was a huge fan and after his untimely death and the playing of Wish You Were Here at his funeral I softened a bit on Floyd. But I still never listened to them. That was a mistake. Still, it made for a wonderful surprise with this list. What a phenomenal album - beautiful composition. I'd give it a 6 (turn it up to 11) if I could. Side one alone was a masterpiece. I think I like Another Brick Pt 1 better than Pt 2 - more raw, edgier, no added synth or disco beats, you really notice the bass line and the guitar. I also really enjoyed the transition to Side two from Mother (Bowie-esque) to Goodbye Blue Sky and Empty Spaces, although Side two dipped a little after Young Lust. Side three was mostly excellent - the instrumentation across all the songs is really impressive. 20 years ago I probably would have begrudgingly admitted I didn't mind Hey You or Comfortably Numb but now that I have a broader music perspective they are two incredible songs, especially the latter. Side four might be the weakest if you listen to it on its own, but listening to it after listening to the rest, it is a fantastic close to the album. It also has some of the best lyrics - In the Flesh, Run Like Hell, and Waiting for the Worms are frightening when you consider that some people aren't laying it on thick for fictional purposes like Floyd but actually think that way. All in all, this is what a rock opera should sound like. It is THE rock opera. I guess I should go listen to the rest of their catalog...or wait for more pleasant surprises when their next album shows up on this list.
Oh man, I forgot just how amazing this album is. There's so much depth here that it would take dozens of listens to take it all in. For starters there's a hidden message at the beginning of "Goodbye Blue Skies" that you can only hear by playing that portion of the track backwards. I still always get a kick out of the "oopmf" that's in the background after the lyric: "There were certain teachers who would hurt the children in any way they could." It's been about 5 years since I put on this album. Even a masterpiece can get overplayed and I certainly played this at least 50 times previously. After revisiting it for this review, I regret waiting so long. Animals is my favorite Floyd album, (shame on the 1001 list-maker for not putting Floyd's best and deepest album on there) but this album is still great in a different way. I think while Animals felt more like Floyd was still a "band" in the sense that everyone contributed to the decision making process, The Wall feels like a Waters album with the rest of the band as the guest musicians. That being said, it has some of Gilmour's best solos on it.
Pink Floyd was the first band I was ever obsessive about. I collected all their albums (on vinyl). I obsessed over their lyrics. I had music books for piano and would play the Wall (poorly) all the way through. Nobody Home was my favorite to play on piano. The classical guitar part at the end of Is There Anybody Out There? was the first fingerstyle song I could play entirely through on guitar. I drew bricks all over my school notebooks. I would write "Pink Floyd The Wall" in Gerald Scarfe's writing style. I had patches for the Wall and Dark Side of the Moon on my band jacket. I watched the movie of The Wall more times than I can count. I watched Roger Waters perform the Wall Live in Berlin when it was broadcast live in 1990 and, in 2010 I saw Roger Waters perform the Wall in its entirety, a concert I still consider one of the best I've ever seen. So, needless to say, this is an obvious 5 for me. That said, my view of it has changed with age. For one thing, the recording quality leaves a lot to be desired. It's very dated, much more so than albums like Dark Side of the Moon or Animals. Waters later referred to the drums as sounding "boxy" and I would tend to agree. The album lacks a certain expansiveness in its sound. Also, it's a pretty dark album and not one that I casually listen to much anymore. Not that I don't listen to dark albums as an adult...perhaps I simply had my fill of The Wall as a teenager (although I've certainly listened to it plenty of times as an adult, also). But I still view it as an absolute masterpiece. So many favorite moments: Comfortably Numb remains one of my all time favorite songs, with of course one of the greatest guitar solos of all time. To me, Another Brick in the Wall Part II always has to include Part I and The Happiest Days of Our Lives. In my head I like to replace Empty Spaces with the movie version "What Shall We Do Now?" (speaking of tracks only in the movie - When the Tigers Broke Free is a very powerful track. I like that they later included it on reissues of the Final Cut, where it probably belongs). Hey You makes me stop and listen whenever I hear it. In the Flesh, Run Like Hell, and Waiting for the Worms may be fascism in musical form, but all three are amazing. The Trial brings the story to an over-the-top theatrical close followed by Outside the Wall which brings us full circle back to the beginning. On CD I'd often just let it loop right back to the start, creating a never ending album. I know The Wall isn't for everybody (although 30 million copies sold suggests it's for a lot of people), but it will always be an absolute classic to me.
5/5 what can be said about this album...just brilliant
- this is really great album, both for listening and having it just for background music - great as concept album, great also as solo songs - relevant lyrics - amazing melodies
It's The Wall. It has Comfortably Numb on it. Pompous, navel gazing, proggy nonsense....also utterly glorious from start to finish
I am a huge Pink Floyd fan, so this is totally biased, but this is an incredible piece of music. We've had some prog rock on our list already, which was average at best, but this showcases what you can do with the genre. That being said, it's still probably only my third favourite Pink Floyd album It's not as iconic a sound or as tightly crafted as Dark Side of The Moon, but it tells this wonderful story that is comprehensible and relatable (two things which prog rock normally struggles with), and has this amazing haunting sound throughout. It flows perfectly between tracks, managing to switch the mood several times without it feeling jarring; it's clearly one piece of work rather than an assortment of tracks. And it does singles way better than almost any prog rock (Dark Side of The Moon included) album I've heard. Another Brick In The Wall, Run Like Hell, and Hey You are all brilliant standalone songs that you can take out of this.
5/5. Absolute perfection.
Tour de force production, scorching yet melodic guitar lines and memorable songs. Utterly brilliant. I haven't played this whole album at a single sitting for over 30 years, but it was a joy - and it's improved with age.
I've been spending the last few days listening to other albums and trying to conjure up kind words and trying to like songs I'll never listen to again. Then this pops up. If you don't like it then I'll not change your opinion but if like me it transcends everyday entertainment for you and becomes a cultural icon then you'll understand. Maybe like other stand outs (eg: Chuck Berry, Sgt Pepper, Woodstock etc) you needed to be there to fully appreciate it? I don't know. Listening to it again (twice) it strikes me that I find it difficult to separate the film and subsequent Berlin concert etc and Roger Waters huge ego with the actual initial album. It gels really well although like other 'Rock Operas' there are transition tracks inbetween the big hits. All in all it has to be 5/5 for what it is and what it has become.
Isn't this where we came in?
The Dark Side Of The Moon".
Incroyable album avec Another brick in the wall ( ces 12 versions) The happiest days of our lives Comfortably Numb Mother Young Lust Dommage que ce soit des grosses merdes, mais bon je dois rester neutre et objectif
All-time great
One of my faves
Far more complex than I ever gave it credit for. What a journey!
...where we came in? One man's self imposed breakdown pushed upon us. It must be terrible being a multimillionaire rockstar. At least there are great tunes accompanying this double album moan. Isn't this... Best Tracks: Another Brick in the Wall pt. 2; Mother; Comfortably Numb
Time to scale The Wall, I guess. To break this album up into tracks is almost a disservice. The story is so well told, a perfect marriage of lyrics and music. The orchestration allows for the lyrics to be clear as day and all of the associated background, atmospherics only furthers the narrative. Mother is the most disturbing rock song. The perfect concept album against which every single one after will be compared to.
Best Floyd album. All the pyrotechnics, except this to me, serving a narrative that is, basically, all rock stars are narcissistic closet Nazis. Which is probably pretty close to the truth. It's a double album, but it actually goes by at a pleasing speed. Tonally it's very bleak, but still finds space for some tight pop songs. And it is more prog pop than prog rock. Solos are kept tight, the instrumentation fits the themes rather than prolonging a single thought. Roger Waters is clearly a massive misanthrope, but it feels good here!
Is it enough to simply point out this is, by far, the reference when it comes to thematic, story conveying, music? Or should I point out that, in the field of personal achievement, this is probably the album most responsible for the shaping of my political views? Lyrics don't come more packed than The Wall's. "Probably" worth mentioning The Wall is filled with excellent music from a band at the peak of its maturity (as its implosion, while recording the album, suggests). From Another Brick in the Wall to Comfortably Numb, The Wall has its share of signature pieces; and tracks such as The Trial indicate there are no limits to the band's creativity. I would argue that, in more ways than one, The Wall was THE album that defined the generation that grew during the eighties.
A huge testament to the true genius of these guys but not my favorite Pink Floyd album. Gilmour's guitar playing is always timed and toned perfectly, the art of restraint. Waters' has to be brilliant to have come up with this story and put it all together but he still seems like a total asshole. Gilmour is class all the way.
Side one might be one of the best single sides in music history. With the exception of Mother which is just a real quick downward mood swing. Which is still a really good song just fits strangely in the order. Side two leaves a little more to be desired musically following that first side. But it is still a fantastic musical journey. And when you factor in the plot narrative of it as well it is just fantastic character development. Side three is a bit strange and depressing which from a regular album standpoint is weird because it also contains two of the best songs ever written. But for the narrative of the rock opera it is fitting. Side four really begins to feel like I expect a rock opera rather than just a regular album. Which is also still very fitting to the narrative as its where Pink's "show" actually occurs. And to end it a peaceful resolution to the story that loops back into the top of the album. Just rating this as a top to bottom album it is a great album but probably like a 3.5 or a 4. It flows weirdly and has a lot of strange mood swings. Rating this as the beautiful work of art that it is and the fantastic narrative story it is certainly a 5. It's influence on the music industry is and will likely always be lasting. It has three of their greatest songs which are just flat out three of the greatest songs of all time. I'm happy that this is my first 5 that I've given. I'm only on album 17 but I am surprised it took this long to get a 5.
10/10. this album is so important to me.
10/10. One of my favorite albums of all time. When I was feeling like shit as a teenager, there was nothing like listening to The Wall in all of its angsty glory.
Wanna take a bath? 10/10
This album is and always will be one of the first 5 albums I add on any device I have. The flow through depression, isolation, ensuing insanity, cumulating in attempting to overcome all of it makes for an album that hits harder than you'd think. Full of wonderful songs, but this album brought concept albums to light for me, and will always retain that place for me
It's epic, huge, and awesome.
Slow and moody. There’s a reason it’s one or the most famous albums.
Awesome concept album that was super fun to listen to all the way through. Has classics like Another Brick in the Wall and Comfortably Numb. A real experience to hear every song back-to-back.
2/10/21 Very politically charged. Less cohesive as an entire album. I appreciate it but don’t love the hip hop genre as a whole. The N word song really threw me for a loop at first! Favorite: Shut Em Down
All in all it's just another 5 out of 5
Damn.
This is a masterpiece. Simple as that.
Greatest album of all time and one of best reflections on the human condition. An introspective and vulnerable view of lost innocence, misplaced trust, and survival in a world that doesn’t seem to care about you or your feelings . Therapy on vinyl.
A masterpiece..
An album and an experience. It almost should be played in full only. Some great songs off this album too. Excellent.
Amazing
A classic for a reason. Great sound in this epic rock opera!
Iconic concept album, classic 70’s rock
Ci sono alcuni capolavori come "Another brick on the wall" e "Comfortably Numb" e in generale è un'esperienza da fare. 5
9/10
-Cool jammery in "In The Flesh?" -I like the thumping in "The Happiest Days of Our Lives" -"Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2" is obviously a classic -"Mother" be like "MY BALLS" -Cool bass and and jamming in general on "Young Lust" -Lots of great moments and jamming and callbacks throughout the album. I'm definitely still missing some notes about great buts in various songs. I definitely don't appreciate it enough yet but it is incredibly solid.
Pivotal album into psychedelic rock and metal.
Yeeeeessss - second fav PF album. Love how ridiculously OTT and theatric it all is. Fav new track: N/A, but would have to be The Trial.
A classic rock-opera masterpiece.
I spent a great deal of time trying to figure out the narrative thread that ran through this album in high school. It only became clearer as I got older. Also the movie played in a dance club where I went with my date and friends after prom but in a tan color. Some guys tried to give us plastic ants while they were tripping. Fun times.
this will probably always get 5 stars from me - we found each other, as is probably the case with a lot of folks, at a time when this album was something i sorely needed. mumble-mumble years later, i guess our relationship has evolved, but i still remember every single word, every fucking beat. if you've never heard this album before, be on the lookout for another brick in the wall, and comfortably numb - these will most likely be the ones that stick, and may draw you back in for a closer look. and if you've got a couple hours to kill, the movie is definitely worth a watch. it stands on its own, but is also a fantastic way to witness the story the album tells. by the way, if you ARE just hearing this for the first time, this was a concept album, designed to tell a single story, start to finish - so expect a bit of a wash, the tracks blending one into another, but also watch for the characters, and watch for the thread of the story. it's worth digging for, promise.
Already know but won't complain about listening - 5
One of the greatest concept albums ever made. My favorite record of all time (tied with Electric Ladyland) for a good reason. The stresses of modern day life, loss and grief, finding your own identity, being ridiculed into conformity, never truly connecting with others, it's too much for us sometimes. Eventually we loose ourselves in the background noise and become so disconnected to the rest of the world, funny enough this is why there's so much to connect with here in this album. On a personal level it makes me feel more emotional than any other piece of art I can think of. On a creative level it shattered every single critics expectations and remains as Pink Floyd's magnum opus due to its subject matter and sheet relatability to the human experience. Captures the entire life of one mans journey into self destruction and disillusionment through heavy drug addiction and self isolation, looping around on itself (isn't this where we came in?) to really drive home the point of how easy it is for any human being to fall into this trap given the right external circumstances, after all, we're all just clawing our way through this existential crises on thin ice anyways. I originally thought that the wall was a metaphor for death, we gain more bricks during our short lives that we add to our own wall. Eventually one day we will die, being reborn or not, and leave these same bricks to our grandchildren for them to piece together in a way they see fit. This could either be a good or bad wall depending on the morality and heart of the builder. However in high school I finally did some research and discovered what the message truly was, I was just overthinking it too much. Creating a literal wall between yourself and the rest of the world, or those you see as less capable than you. The berlin wall, the great wall of china, the proposed wall between the U.S. and mexico, all these walls were meant to ward off other people from getting close to you, or more realistically, keeping yourself from coming to connect with and understand your fellow brothers and sisters. I think one line specifically sums up what I love so much about this brilliant work from Rodger, from the first song, In The Flesh?, If you want to find out what's behind these cold eyes You'll just have to claw your way through this disguise Oh yeah, and the movie is pretty good too.
The Wall is a perfect Rock Opera, with numerous great songs that stand out on their own, intertwined with others that make it flow as a whole. It's pretty much Roger Water's magnum opus, and has some of David Gilmour's best guitar works (comfortably numb anyone?). Out of Pink Floyd's perfect albums from 73-79, this is my least favourite but it's still a significant piece of art and worthy of 5 stars. Think it's because I kind of relate to the character of Pink in a way. Introverted, withdrawn in my own world occasionally, and emotionally numb and depressed at times. Just this fact makes it difficult to listen compared to Dark Side or Wish You Were Here. Plus it is really lacking key moments from the rest of the band (except Gilmour).
This is a fantastic album. Not necessarily all the way from start to finish but overall it keeps my attention and runs my emotions. Good memories too!
Not all of these songs are good, but when they are, they are SO good. Favourites: Comfortably Numb, Nobody Home, Hey You (but there's plenty more to enjoy on here).
Sonically brilliant, sounds great loud on a big system. Yes, it could be seen as pretentious but there is a story underneath that ties it together. Guitar solo on Comfortablely Numb is staggering, that tone and melody is so distinctive.
Although it's not the best one from Pink Floyd (looking at you Animals), it's still a musical masterpiece. Feels like watching top class theater with an absolutely intriguing storyline. Great finale for the best era of Pink Floyd records. Fav tracks: Goodbye Blue Sky, Comfortably Numb, Is There Anybody Out There
An absolute masterpiece, with some of the greatest prog rock songs ever written. Enjoyed the story more by listening to it in full and in order. Comfortably numb and run like he'll were my favourites before, and still are, along with the three "movements" of another brick in the wall
One of the greatest albums i’ve listened to.
Another Brick in the Wall and Comfortably Numb were the only songs I knew beforehand, and I wouldn't listen to many of the songs on the album on their own, but as whole the album was nice and interesting. I like it when albums tell a story.
Great album. Cool story behind it as well
One of my favourites. Timeless! A double album with little filler.
One of the best of all times
One of the very best. For anyone experiencing this for the first time(and enjoying), try to find the movie that goes with it. It’s so good.
Classic album - not my favorite Pink Floyd era (so personally would give it a 4) but bumping it up to a 5 anyways because likely the best Rock Opera of all time
Legendary
One of their best. 5/5 Every song is pretty great.
the way the songs flow together is just masterful. This is a masterful album. Run like hell might be my favorite of all the songs.
Epic. This is definitely one of the albums that makes me think the creators are mad geniuses. I have no idea how you go from a blank page to this. It is provocative, soaring, melodic at times, angry, and always story driven. An amazing piece of art.
Master
"I mean... it's Pink Floyd's The fucking Wall" No puedo hacer una reseña objetiva de este disco. Simplemente no puedo. Mejores canciones: Mother, Hey You, Comfortably Numb, *The Trial*.
One of the greatest concept albums. What is the meaning of the wall!
I’m starting to think these Pink Floyd guys might be talented
An absolute masterpiece

What an amazing first album to listen to! Let me preface this by saying that I am a person who mainly listens to contemporary indie music, so when I saw that The Wall was my first album, I was worried, because up to this point I had assumed that Pink Floyd was this hard rock band that would hurt my ears. Boy, was I wrong. A friend of mine loves Pink Floyd, and when I told her about starting this project and reviewing The Wall, she was really excited, and for good reason: this album is so cool. I always enjoy when musicians really put thought into their work and create masterpieces like concept albums; the narrative weaved throughout The Wall is wonderfully told, and by the album's end you ask yourself so many questions about Pink and his motives and his thoughts and EVERYTHING. On top of that, the instrumentation and production was just as wonderful, especially the small portions of the record with piano and acoustic guitar; as someone who gravitates towards music with those instruments at the forefront, it was really cool to hear these softer sounds blend so well with the omnipresent drums and electric guitar. I know a lot of people are not a huge fan of the album's length, but for me to make it through the entire 80 minutes and not feel bored once says a lot about Pink Floyd's musical genius. Beautiful album. Would recommend to anyone.
Another great song after great song.
its like dark side but less erratic
Classic
Destin, FL, Patrick Hall vis a vi
The Greatest concept album in music history. It's impossible to not ended up listening from beginning to end. It really is a journey to listen this album, each song makes you wanna listen to the next in anticipation for the climax: Comfortably Numb with arguably the greatest guitar solo in music.
I know most of the big songs on this very well, but I've actually never listened to it all the way through as an album! Really enjoyed the nudge to do so, what a phenomenal album.
Just heard before the main title, missing some precious gems.
Not their best album but this is still a classic nonetheless.
Some of the best music ever made
Amazing album that introduces some of Pink Floyd’s most enduring songs. The impact of WWII in Great Britain is explored in the beginning of this album as it develops the story of Pink, a rock star who builds a wall of separation between the world and himself. This album is indulgent, strange, and dark. Nevertheless, it is incredible in its scope both lyrically and musically
Classic. So good
A masterpiece. One of my favorite albums ever.
This album is an absolute masterpiece and one of my favourite ever! I grew up listening to it but it never fails to capture me and make me feel things. Favourite tracks: comfortably numb, nobody home
I don't have a hot take here. It's a super interesting and well made album. I saw the Nostalgic Critic stuff where he covered album attempted to roast it? Literally some of the dumbest shit I've ever seen/heard. But it got people talking so maybe it worked to that point? Eitherway, I probably haven't done enough drugs to fully appreciate it.
Classic rock is classic.
The following is a review by my teenagers who had never heard this before: "The style changes lot but you can tell it is the same genre. It makes you feel like a brick in the wall who wants to fix the world."
Masterpiece
I think I might have scored this 4 stars a year ago, as it's never been one of my favourite Pink Floyd albums... However, I watched The Wall movie this year, and that's added an extra layer of appreciation and bumped it up to a 5... The rise of British fascism looking more likely rather than less these days, it's a disturbingly prescient work. 😑 Fave track - "Mother" maybe, or "Is There Anybody Out There?"
generic 80s
Master piece
Top 10 for sure. What a classic.
Having never sat and listened to the whole album "cover to cover" I definitely found it way more impactful. Sure there are the 6-7 classic songs which are some of the best rock ever written, but a lot of the shorter conceptual tracks work to tie everything together. It does occasionally crest into pretense and self-indulgence, but has aged surprisingly well over the past 40 years.
-listen to it a couple of times -listened together with N -should understand the story better
Oh fuck yeah. I already know this one is 5/5 amazing.
issa classic
One of the most influential albums to me. It exceeds in the instrumentals, the story-telling and the atmosphere. 5/5
Not in my top 3 of Pink Floyd, but is an awesome piece of art so in cant Give it less than 5
Amazinggggg. Exactly as expected.
Overall, a very solid album in all aspects. I prefer the other versions of Another Brick In The Wall to the most well known version. 5/5 stars.
Great album, I haven't really listened to Pink Floyd before but this was great. I really think this is an album that needs to be listened to from start to finish. Oddly enough kinda makes me think of a toned down dream theater
It's a classic. Not my first time listening to it, won't be my last.
No notes needed.
This is a perfect album. I love it so much.
Zalig album.
Masterpiece
The GOAT. Just a sublime piece of music mastery from Waters and Gilmour. The Wall moves with a nimble grace and takes you on a transcendental journey. It challenges conventional themes and the system in one Herculean swipe. A powerful and exquisite tour de force - each and every one of those bricks in the wall delivers a knockout blow, leaving you dazzled and spinning in all the colours of the spectrum before delicately drizzling you on the canvas. Yes, I mostly watch interracial porn these days.
Great album
This is an absolute belter.
I cannot state why this is a 5 stars enough. Everything about this album is a 5 to me. The thematic story the whole way through, the amazing instrumentals, the real life context, just everything. I knew we were going to get to this album eventually and I was just so happy to see it yesterday. This was one of the first albums a good friend of mine recommended I listed to all the way through, before that I just listened to singles. Discovering that albums can be crafted to tell a story changed my view on music and how it should be listened to. Good albums are a work of art and this is a masterpiece. The themes in this album range from toxic relationships, drug abuse, mental illness, etc., and I find it so interesting to hear how Roger Waters describes each of these in turn.

CLASSIC
Fantastic!
Me gustan los motivos em diferentes canciones. Un clásico
Anhother brick in the wall
is there anybody out there... hey you... uno de mis favoritos
A masterpiece out of its time. It is great and complex, but time and more music helped me to understand it.
excellent and very easy to listen

La transición entre la parte uno y dos, The Happiest Days Of Our Lives, debe ser el mejor interludio musical en la historia.
A classic of classics
I have never listened to The Wall all the way through. I'm very familiar with a lot of the songs from the album but I haven't listened to them in their intended form- all together. While these songs aren't my favorite Pink Floyd songs I think this album has rightly earned its place as one of the best concept albums. The rock opera quality really shines through with visual qualities to the music with an effect where you really feel like your moving through the main characters life just by listening to the songs.
Front to back incredible album. 10/10
Already listened beforehand, an extraordinary concept album; like nothing else I've ever listened to
I'm very familiar with this album since I wore it out on vinyl 40 years ago. Absolute classic, one-of-a-kind concept album, probably the best pure concept album ever made. The music starts flagging a bit for me at the end, starting with Waiting for the Worms, where it feels a little forced to try and draw the story to its conclusion, but that's a minor complaint. 5 stars. Fun fact - the album was released on my 14th birthday. Fun fact #2, I played and sang Nobody Home in front of an audience at an open mike night at my college.
Still amazing
Classic album. I love it, but it can be overly dramatic/over the top at times. Still, it is quite a journey across a complete album and has just some epic, amazing songs.
I love this album so original and atmospheric
Great album, as is anything floyd!
Bro u already know it
This is definitely my favorite Pink Floyd album. I love how theatrical is it.
I mean... it’s The Wall. One of the greatest “modern” albums!
Fantastic Album. The first time I heard it, a lot of dust was blow around. I worked for a stage power company. Had to test an amplifier and speaker set I just repaired. At that time I did not know the album. As it starts of on a low volume I turned up the volume of the amplifier. You must know this was a sound set for a big theater hall. But after the start of the album it kicks in. The complete hall was shaking and all the dust collected from over years came free. :-) I can tell you everything was working fine. Bought this album almost instantly after this. Still love it. It is my favorite album of Pink Floyd.
Erre nincs mit mondani. A valaha készült egyik legjobb lemez.
A classic Rock opera
Love this and any album that tells stories
a work of art

Epic
Classic. Legendary. Simply Pink Floid
"Young Lust", "In The Flesh", "Nobody Home", "Comfortably Numb" - мои субъективные любимцы, а "Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2" стал самой узнаваемой песней группы.
the album that spawned almost all of Floyd's radio singles. While I'm not fond of some of the songs by themselves, listening to the album as a whole elevates the entire experience. The only Pink Floyd album I fully enjoy
Fucking A
It's the wall, man, what am I allowed to say about this. There's some incredible songwriting on this, the concept is well written and executed, and usually concept albums get the pass on some of those lamer songs because they exist to fill out the narrative. That's really my only complaint of this album is there's like 45 minutes worth of plot necessary music that only serves plot, not good music, but it's completely necessary. Feels like this could have been a really good 7-10 song album without the bloat, bloat that again I acknowledge is necessary.
Good but not close to their other massive albums
Oh man need this on vinyl definitely. Sounds good but...
I’ve never actually listened to The Wall! Obviously I’ve heard a couple songs from this a million times, but Pink Floyd were never one of my bands. This is great, though! Listened to it a couple times through yesterday. First time just letting the whole thing wash over me, second time trying to pay more attention to the “story” and the repeated themes. Impressive! I gotta give them credit, even though this is a rock opera double album, it’s paced incredibly well. This feels shorter than a lot of other albums I’ve listened to for this project. One, because it’s much better, and two, probably because there’s no really indulgent 10 minute tracks on it. They break up the longer songs with a couple shorter tracks in between, so the album really moves. I was pretty struck by some beautiful songs I hadn’t heard before - “Good Bye Blue Sky” and “Vera” come to mind. In fact, the whole thing is often chiller and more vibe-based than I expected. More about moody soundscapes than hard-hitting rock n roll, which I was into. Hey! Crazy controversial opinion here, but good album!
Sclassic reminds Me of me grandaddy
It’s good, but frequently borders on being a bit too pompous and grandiose for my liking which is likely largely a flaw of a concept album such as this. Spots of it were also a bit too musical theatre (‘the trial’) but at its root there are just some very good songs. I think it is at its best when more restrained - ‘is there anybody out there?’, ‘goodbye blue sky’, ‘mother’. The second solo on ‘comfortably numb’ is still on another level and up there with Gilmour at his finest.
I own this album on vinyl so I put it on for a fresh listen. Wasn't an album that I "loved", so I'm glad I listened again For many groups, it's hard to follow up an album which is considered one of the greatest of all time, and the wall is no different. Yes, pink Floyd does a fantastic job orchestrating this album, following in the footsteps of other greats like the who creating a rock opera, but it feels stuffy and overbearing at times. At the same time, it feels bloated - they could've got the message across easier with fewer tracks. Overall a great album, just not one of the best of all time
In my high school years, I listened to this album hundreds of times. I don’t know if I found if necessarily deep but I was clearly fascinated by it. I knew every lyric, every interlude, every collect call from Mr Floyd for Mr Floyd. I have not listened to this album since then. When in high school I knew Dark Side, I knew the song Wish You Were Here, but I didn’t really know Pink Floyd. That is all to say, knowing their catalog better, and having lived life, this album hits completely different. I still know every lyric, there is some nostalgia but a lot is silly and indulgent. There are great songs to be sure and some of the nice moments are some of the throwaway bits, but Roger Waters is too much in control here and his vocals…why did we ever think this was a good idea? The huge saving grace remains the exemplary play of the band. I went to see The Wall when Waters toured it 15 or so years back and they needed 2 people to cover Gilmoure’s part on Comfortably Numb. In the end, a lot of good, even with a silly megalomaniac at the controls, but quite a bit behind Dark Side, WYWH, Animals and Meddle.
Album Rating: 9/10 Review: This album was so good. The storytelling throughout was impeccable and you felt like you were listening to a story being told with so much emotion and passion. The best song was by far Comfortably Numb. That is easily a top 100 song I have ever heard. The only negative about this album I would say is the short songs that felt like interludes. It just felt like they kidn of halted the momentum of the good songs back to back. I get that they were transition tracks and I understand their purpose but it still feels like they were a slight hindrance to the overall quality of the album.
I've listened to this many times and I think it absolutely fits the "have to listen to before you die" description.
I like the album Lot I Do I did look up the meaning of the album en dat Made Me appreciated it more. It is about building a Brick Wall Around yourself for mental protection. Made me appreciate pink floyd more.
I’m a massive Floyd fan but this isn’t my favourite. Very uneven.
Far too long, but it’s awfully well done, even if it’s not my thing. Some of the “concept” elements (e.g., non-musical sounds) don’t really add value.
I have listened to this several times before and unlike other albums this one I have listened through from start to finish as well as I have watched the movie as well as the concert with the same name. A really good album from start to finish.
There were maybe six months in high school when this and Dark Side ... were running on a loop.
i really enjoyed it - wouldn't listen to lots of the songs by themselves but together they all worked well.
I simultaneously think this album is great and massively overrated. It succeeds as a concept album in many ways. It has a coherent structure with a relatively compelling narrative, and above all else, it has some amazing tracks. Where I think is album fails slightly is in its length. As a double album, a fair few tracks feel as if their main purpose is to advance the narrative rather than deliver musically. As well as that, the second disc is noticeably weaker than the first. Overall, too much meat and not enough pudding.
So much has been written about The Wall, I don't feel like I have anything useful to add -- except to say that it's not really for me. I say this as a big fan of a lot of what Pink Floyd has done over the years. Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here are two of my all-time favorite albums. There's just something about The Wall that's never connected with me. Listening to it all the way through has always proved a little bit of a slog, so this might only be the 3rd or 4th time I've ever played it from start to finish. The interconnected story should be a strength, but for me it just means there are a lot of tracks that don't do much for me musically. I feel like I'm listening to the soundtrack for a stage play, and that's not something that encourages replayability for me. A song like "The Trial" is something I could happily never hear again. When the album does hit, it hits hard. Hey You, Comfortably Numb, and Run Like Hell are all excellent... Comfortably Numb in particular is one of my favorite songs of all-time. I understand why Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 is so well-loved, but it's never really ranked for me when I consider Pink Floyd's best. I feel like I enjoy this album at no more than a 3... but it's much too accomplished and has far too high of highs to get a middling score. But I have to save full marks for albums I enjoy without reservations.
great album with amazing songs tho certainly not my favourite pink floyd album
Great voice Simbólico Instrumental The guitar another level
Classic album. Bit too long and drawn out in places.
'Comfortably Numb' saab alati olema üks parimaid kitarrisoolosid, mida ma kuulnud olen, aga ausalt öeldes ei ole ülejäänud album nii meeldejääv. The Wall albumina on rohkem atmosfäärne kuulamiskogemus kui enamus albumeid ja ta kuvab kindlat emotsiooni. Pink Floyd sonifitseerib depressiooni paremini kui emo muusika. See on vastukaaluks minu enne antud kriitikale. Sajad miljonid on leidnud kontakti ühe vaevatud väljamõeldud rokkstaariga.
A very good album. It’s almost a 5, but it doesn’t reach the same level of superiority as Dark Side, as far as I’m concerned. I don’t connect as much with the overall concept. It’ll remain a high 4. Run Like Hell is probably my favourite Pink Floyd song. What a banger.
I know this one quite well. I've always had a bit of a thing with double albums; the vast, vast majority of them can usually be shaved down to one incredible album. In most cases, there's a decent amount of filler on even the best ones. It wouldn't really be practical to do in the case of this one, since there's a story to be told, but even with The Wall I find myself enjoying side one MUCH more than side two.
Pretty cool songs. Some have very loud sounds, and some are not really songs (?) but nice overall. 8/10. Favs: Another brick in the wall pt.2 + goodbye blue sky.
I knew pink floyd from the great gig in the sky, amazing discography. More on instrumentals less lyrics on this album, but overall pink floyd is one of the most influential rock bands oat. 9.4/10
Step down from their other work but still has strong songs
the story the album was telling was genuinely so beautiful, the rock sound of it wasn't something I usually listen to but I did enjoy it a lot. I recommend if ur listing to this album for the first time definitely check out some analysis videos before you give it a listen.
a bit overrated. Think it's 3rd or 4th time i've listened to it
A classic album. There are several good tracks on this record that show the depth of the band's abilities. Comfortably Numb might be my favorite Pink Floyd track ever.
Never listened to this album when I was growing up.
Real https://www.reddit.com/r/im14andthisisdeep/ material and I say that lovingly because I loved this album at that age. Now I can see it as a bit self-indulgent for Roger Waters but when was late 70's / early 80's Pink Floyd not?
4⭐️/5 [06.08.2026] 06.09.2026
Playlist pick : Young Lust
10/10 TODO EL ÁLBUM, NO SKIPS. Favorita: young lust, mother, goodbye blue sky (todavía me faltan algunas canciones que terminar) but so far so good
This is an iconic album, "Mother", "Another Brick in the Wall", "The Show Must Go On" and "Run Like Hell" are incredible.
I don’t think I’ve ever properly listened to Pink Floyd before, but I like it! Some of the more moody/artsy ones are interesting (like Don’t Leave Me Now), but once they get going I’m definitely into it. Goodbye Blue Sky is a fave from the first half. Hey You has an absolutely killer guitar riff - very cool. Comfortably Numb is another fave - basically anything with a good riff. Overall, a bit theatrical for my tastes, but I can respect the talent and quality in the music.
3.5
Some of it was a bit theatrical for me, but overall good, and comfortably numb and another brick in the wall are bangers
Undeniably a great album. It deserves five stars on the merits, but I don’t think I’d choose to listen to the whole thing on the regular. I do love Comfortably Numb.
Very cool, but I forgot most of it
second most iconic floyd album, not my favourite by any means but a comfort album for me. comfortably numb is top 5 floyd songs and the story telling on this album is superb. lots of filler unfortunately to make that story cohesive.
Chalk this up as another album I have actually never listened to. I knew Another Brick in the Wall and my neighbour's mum had this when I was a teen. So I remember hearing bits of it. What an album. Yes, maybe it was a bit pretentious but it's also really listenable and tells a good story.
geniales Konzeptalbum, aber nicht Pink Floyds bestes. Zu lang, zu viele Skits
Timeless.
Shit me i LOVE a concept album literally just give me concepts all day long. First time listening to a pink Floyd album and i will so be going back through their other albums as soon as i can, brill stuff
I really want to complain about how insanely long this album is but unfortunately it is really great
positives: - rock operas are cool - prog rock is cool - it sounds nice - your dad's fav song is on it - wacky cheesy drama - guitar solos!!! guitar solos!!! - very long negatives: - your dad's fav song is on it - wacky cheesy drama - guitar solos!!! guitar solos!!! - very long roger waters is completely up himself but it's still one of my favourites like doug walker I'll listen to it so you don't have to
It is nice to finally experience what is considered one of the best concept albums of all time. I consider it: pretty OK! Very pleasent prog through-out, and nice to follow along with the story-telling.
Bra Mangler struktur
Despite being one of the great concept albums, I don't think this is quite 5-star Floyd for me. Some great songs to be sure - side 3 as a mini-album would be 5 stars in and of itself, starting with Hey You and ending with Comfortably Numb, just epic. Some great guitar solos. Other songs here I don't care for as much, like Young Lust - I definitely like Floyd at there moodiest and most atmospheric, rather than the rockier/funkier parts. It's a little long, but the story is pretty good as the narrator moves through childhood trauma, into a mental breakdown, and back out. I think it's good to very good, maybe just not great.
1) Comfortably numb 2) Hey you 3) In the flesh Quelques creux pour moi mais album est excellent.
Start of the album not great. End of 1st disc is great! Especially Another Brick pt 3 into goodbye cruel world. Another brick Pt 2 sucks. Comfortably numb is great. In the flesh is very on the nose but potent. The Wall by Pink Floyd is certainly a potent album. It's also certainly a good album. But I'm not sure if it's a great album. For one this album is long, really long and there are many songs on there that I don't think sound good or serve the narrative. That being said there are certain songs on here that truly stand the test of time and ring even more true for our modern society than it did for the one Pink Floyd lived in. I would've like more of those and less of the rest Fav Songs: Comfortably Numb (HM: Another Brick Pt. 3 into goodbye cruel world. Least Fav: Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2
yeah, so i should listen to this album again in the future, but huh
Wish You Were Here & Meddle > The Wall
One of the first concept albums I can think of. Pink Floyd was pioneering in the practice of making albums like this and this entire saga spelled out in album form has produced some bangers of individual tracks as well as a cohesive experience to listen all the way through.
Definitely a theatrical performance. Altogether I thought it was a really interesting listen. Charismatic, and over the top are words that come to mind. In terms of individual songs, though, I found it hard to pick out specifics that would enter my playlist as songs that I wouldn't end up skipping each time because their one their own type of timing. I still really enjoyed it but don't know what to do now. Might re visit and try to pick out singles that I liked
Goddamn I was obsessed with this album when I was in junior high and discovering that music could be transcendent art, there was a couple months where I listened to this and a few other PF albums ad nauseam. But I haven’t revisited this album in over 6 years, I finally moved on to other music because I listened to it so often I was never really hankering for another taste. I was expecting to sour on this a lot with this rewatch due to my distaste of 70s classic rock in many cases, but I’m glad to report that this still is an astonishing musical achievement. Maybe not masterpiece material for me anymore, the story is a bit of a mess and rushes to the end. I think the turn from the album exploring Pink’s retreat into himself and his self-destruction to him becoming a neonazi are disparate to say the least. If this was a clean two hours I think there could have been more time spent with the idea of him finding comfort in fascism because he associates it with his childhood, or exploring how his complete isolation and rejection of the world easily manifests into vile individualist hatred. The Trial also strangely does not count Pink leading a British nationalist fascist rally as among his crimes, just his personal shit, odd. I guess he didn’t feel all that bad about it. Anyways, I think the two halves can work and should work together, In The Flesh is legitimately a disturbing song, especially in our current age of right-wing grifters. The first three sides though are well paced and honestly create a complete story, if it ended with Outside the Wall after Comfortably Numb it would work just as well even without the story detour. Although I get it, side four has Run Like Hell and The Trial, I wouldn’t want to get rid of those either I guess. I really thought I would’ve outgrown this prog rock opera shit by now but something about Floyd still grabs me, the Gilmour solos still take me away. Oh also I thought I hated Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 but I realize now that I actually just hate it when it is played outside of this album. Hey You should get played out in the wild more, that works much better as a standalone song.
I love me some Floyd - this isn't my favourite album but it is still great
Sorry, can't help it I think of Shamu during "Run Like Hell." This album is great but just a smidge too long. 4/5
An amazing epic! Leagues ahead of earlier rock operas on this list, to which the Wall owes some credit (I’m reconsidering my rating of Tommy). The songs are varied but mostly tight. The sound quality production bass playing and guitar are all stellar. Really good story telling too. But, it’s not a 5 — it’s hard for rock operas to maintain the highest level of musicality while still advancing the plot. There are narrative pieces and the unremitting darkness and cynicism of the vibe that would prevent me from playing this album on repeat. Great double album — a major accomplishment, but not coming to the desert island with me. A solid 4.
1001 albums to hear before you say goodbye blue sky 99# its big ainnit. thats mostly what drags me out of it and i really didn't appreciate a lot of it. Of course it's a hell of a record history-wise.
An excellent, chill vibe album. Not as great as Dark Side, but very, very good.
sort of the classic “we live in a society” album. but you know what…they did live in a society so they’re allowed to say so. i think there’s a lot of really valid anguish in this album and the concept format really heightens those feelings even if the metaphors are a little hamfisted at times. i didn’t remember how theatrical the ending was so that was pretty unexpected for me. it worked well with the recurring motifs throughout the album so i appreciated how much it fulfilled its intended rock opera format. even ignoring the format or concept, there are some pretty good bangers here so i enjoyed myself! Fav tracks: Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2; Mother; Hey You; Comfortably Numb
A tried-and-true classic: a little rock-y, a little ethereal, a little experimental, a little cinematic.
Love how the same musical themes continue through the whole album
Tá. Controversial mas é meu álbum menos favorito deles. Nonetheless, muito bom.
It’s Pink Floyd!
Pretty classic album. Only negative for me is the length.
Rounding up to a 4. This one is a little too long but it has a lot of bangers
A classic innit. Maybe disingenuous to give it a 5, but I wanted to. 4/5 in the end. Would be nine of ten.
I thought I would dislike this album due to the fact that i disliked the first 7 tracks but it was actually a really good album. I quite like disc 2 better than disc 1; favourites were one of my turns, hey you, comfortably numb, don't leave me now and waiting for the worms.
man it's so long. i'll listen to the whole thing some other time
I can't remember the last time I listened to this. It was even better than the last time I did.
Good album, just not as good as DSotM
