Not a Wilco guy
Just like the previous Wilco album I have trouble understanding this album it’s so boring and yet mysteriously popular. Hope it’s the last Wilco on the list.
Like Beck and Radiohead came together, led by one of the most dull, boring lead vocalists on the list.

Beefing with your label so hard you leave and stream the album for free on your website is extremely punk rock but unfortunately the sound is just boring. It further suffers from Jeff Tweedy possibly being the name of my junior high friend (redacted)'s shithead stepdad who would tell her she "didn't deserve to be a Tweedy" when she misbehaved, like there was any social cachet involved whatsoever. I always thought this would be a much more compelling threat if it was Tweety, because at the time Looney Tunes were still fairly relevant in teen and adult popular culture.

Reprise called it right when they refused to release this. Impressive studio work only gets you so far when you're working with weak songs, and I'd argue that Tweedy and Bennett's disjointed songwriting process bore some half-baked goods here.

This was a bummer of an album. Kind of like washed up hippies. I didn't get it.
This pretty much sucks. Depressive feeling sorry for myself lyrics with lousy cry baby singing (whining)over weak music. Who listens to this crap?
Bleh, very monotone
I listened to this twice and still don’t know that I feel anything about it. It seems like the sort of thing I should like but I don’t. I’m going to have to give it one star - not because I hate it. I just have no intention of listening to it again.
Chaotic, noisy, and pretentious. Not a fan of musicians who use screeching and crackling noises to try seem edgy, will probably never listen to this album again.

So forgetable, i forgot about it! Stil makes you wonder how can a candle cost £60 plus, what are they putting in them? I guess the value of something is only what people are prepared to pay for it. Well I aint paying for it goddamn it!

Boring indie Americana. Probably one or two listenable songs. His voice is not to my taste and the 'experimental' sounds feel self-indulgent. Dull for the casual listener.

This album evokes no feelings from me. I would Give it no rating if I could because this album is just the nothing coming to take Fantasia away.

I would imagine there would be more tonally rewarding experiences in a house which was haunted, Waiting for those dulcet moans from beyond the grave giving me a richer experience than what was had here. Is Art Rock just an excuse to sing off key and as mundane as you can . Not for me

I really wanted to like this more, but just wasn't doing it for me.
Don’t get it. This is completely average, often tuneless folk/rock masquerading as something more simply by throwing every avant-garde or atonal instrument on top of the simple arrangements. Without the kitchen sink production this would just be a boring acoustic record with whisper croak vocals.
Weird music. Uninspiring singing (pretty bad). Bleh, almost threw up. It was torture to get through this album.
Listening to this actually annoyed me, i really didnt like it. Its too bad because i feel like there was interesting lyrics but i just couldnt stand the music or anything else that was going on.

Never heard of the band or any of their songs, but I’m intrigued within the first few seconds. Only listened to it once, but kinda sounded a little too indie for my liking. In general: 2/10 My rating 2/10

Had enough after 30 seconds but I persevered to the end. Was it worth it? Absolutely not. Awful, one-paced, plodding dirges. How did this ever get onto any list that also includes Graceland? Paul Simon should sue the curator.
