Reviews (page 12 of 13)
I have nothing to say about this
Just a bit bland.
If this generator has taught me anything so far, it’s that I was born to be a Neil Young fan. He was the saving grace on Déjà Vu – which is still a mediocre record overall. Now, without him on Crosby, Stills & Nash, I find CSN to be nearly unbearable, and certainly forgettable. The best songs on here are, in my opinion, “Guinnevere” and “Long Time Gone.” Which makes sense, because I like David Crosby, and I like his era of The Byrds. But gun to my head, I don’t think I could hum the melody of either song. To be fair, apparently, Crosby himself couldn’t even recognize “Guinnevere.” Those are just the songs that I didn’t either hate or not give a single shit about. Most of this album went in one ear, and went out the other. It is blander then bland. I think it’s decent enough where I can’t fully hate it, but this is a nothing album to me. It has no defining features, nothing unique, nothing interesting about it, nothing that makes it timeless. Its heights are still forgettable. When your best material is only good because it’s not as bad as the material around it, you don’t have a classic album on your hands. Boomer white bread. That’s all this record is, and frankly, all CSN may be. Neil Young, if you can hear me, please, save us. We need you. Or at least, CSN needs you.
A very plain and uninspired album. Ok songs. 2.4/5=> 2/5
solid album. had good moments and variety but not really outstanding
Suite:Judy Blue Eyes went all over and I got over it the last couple minutes. What is the start on Marrakesh Express? The song has elements that remind me of Simon & Garfunkel. Overall not as standout to me even if I like the elements. 2.5
Rating: 5/10 Meh.
Pretty anodyne and flat. I was expecting to like this a lot more than I actually did. A couple of tracks I was familiar with, and a lot more that sounded similar but not catching.
"Oh, the harmonies" says the main review. Those harmonies wear thin pretty quickly
Chiller vibes
Jamais entendu auparavant.
2,5
Sigh....
I've had a lot of yacht rock already (or it feels like that), and I got pretty bored.
Very of its time. Enjoyed it more than expected. A few good songs on there.
This starts with pastiche of hippie shit. Marrakesh Express is an invitation to make a twat of yourself in public. It then gets a little darker, a little more interesting. I still want to kick out all the accoustic bollocks and shake them up. Never trust a hippie, etc.
Chato demais.
I know this is a critically acclaimed album but it doesn't do much for me. They have a very difinetive sound with very tight harmonies and the musicianship is good. The album starts off strong and ends pretty strong but the middle songs have me drifting off and barely paying any attention. 2- stars.
Late 60s soft rock slog. Aside from the vocal harmonies, there's not much I enjoy about this type of music. I'm sure this album inspired so many talented artists to make music, but I don't know if the entire album holds up today. 2.5/5
✅ pleasant enough listen, nothing really grabs me and it feels like a long time to listen to the same, albeit very pleasant, vocal harmonies
Yeah, they sing in great harmony and at times it sounds almost classical. Which is exactly why I can appreciate others liking it - but me, not so much, despite the psychedelic elements thrown in.
2/5. A relaxing and expressive folk album that loses feeling more often than not. The intertwining vocals is definitely the highlight here with songs creating a chorus of sound despite only being three singers. There is some good songwriting but some are just not very enjoyable to listen to. I would say I like a little less than half of this album but of the songs I do like, very memorable and well-written songs. Otherwise, wholly forgettable and boring. Could have been better, not a well-aged album. Best Song: Suite, Wooden Ships, Lady of the Island
Breezy breezy
Correcto.
maybe its just not my thing or maybe the mood is not right but I just do not really enjoy this album
I like this about as much as I enjoy them with Young included, which is to say, not terribly much. They sound lovely, but the songs are quite boring and run on and on into each other. The album ends up feeling much longer than it is. Sonically inoffensive.
One banger does not forgive this dullest.
crosby, stills & nash
Yeah, I can see the impact of this album with its tight reedy harmonies and popular musicianship of the day. It’s classic folk-rock. I’m just not the kind of folk it rocks.
It's too wanky and floaty for me. I don't like the singing or the approach. All too comfortable and soft and harmless, and painfully earnest. It's so long man, and so utterly dull. Such a slog.
Its okay
Nice chill folk music, but completely forgettable.
Not a big fan of original folk music without a twist (e.g. Dylan, Joni, even Neil Young). I found this album a bit bland.
All a bit too cheesy for my tastes I'm afraid. It's all very NICE. The alliteration... and that version of 'Everybody's Talkin' is unforgivable. 'Lady of the island' is quite lovely though.
Not much to write home about. It just kind of plodded along. Enjoyed the guitars on ‘Wooden Ships’ but nothing else jumped out. Thank the Lord for sending Neil Young their way to spice things up a bit.
No. No. No. No. Bland. Bland. Bland. But I have to be grateful that Neil Young hadn't added his considerable vocal talents at this point. However, I did like that backwards guitar on 'Pre-Road Down'. Update: 2 thirds of the way through this album, the songs got a bit more lively and interesting. So not as bland as it could have been. So a 2 rather than a 1.
Quite boring to be honest
Classic sound but dull overall.
Eh...
This was alright to listen to, not too bad, but it kind of lacked any exciting things. It was chill for background music.
OK, not my kind of music. Too folky
Crosby, Stills & Nash reminds me of times on dingy sofas, in stuffy Norwegian sweaters and sweet wild cherry tea. That was great back then. Now I just find it strange. And even at that time, Crosby, Stills & Nash were just a side note for me. I heard it in the alternative scene but it didn't impress me. And even now I found the music uninteresting. It played on the side and the best I could say about it was that it didn't bother me much. 2/5
The California folk is good, it's just kinda boring.
kinda boring and sounds like a lot of the same 70s dad rock i’ve heard. it’s not bad but i think it’s pretty forgettable.
I struggled with this. Folk has never been my favourite genre. I could hear a similar vocal tone to early Pink Floyd, but not much else rang my (Division!) bell.
super slow, kinda cool but wouldn't listen again, not really for me
Disappointing.
Decent vibe just not much my thing
Put me to sleep. Needs Y. Love me some Y. CSN? Ehh.
Not for me.
I'm not a big fan of 60s American folk, so it all blended into one boring track.
Extremely late 60’s classic rock.
Harmonies sound like Grateful Dead, American Beauty. Great talent but not my taste.
Sorry not into this
Not a favorite
S’alright
Suite: Judy Blue Eyes and Marrakesh Express are classics. All the other tracks are utterly forgettable. -3 for the album overall.
An easy listening snooze fest. Pretty harmonies and guitar but also pretty boring.
Not my style
Nice listening. One catchy song.
No wonder Neil Young fell out with them… he must have put his back out carrying their dead weight if this is anything to go by.
Enjoyable in the background, but I'm not entirely into it. kinda meh, 2*.
Similar to Paul Simon, chill, got repetetive Top songs are great, rest is nothing special Top songs: Judy Blue Eyes, Helplessly Hoping, and Pre Road Downs
Honestly it didn’t impress me much. I know this band is well regarded but the songs weren’t super memorable to me. 2.5
Meh, not bad so that I didn't want to listen, and while I can respect the craft and musicianship on show it was all a bit too gentle and bland for me
Not my jam for sure.
Nostalgia album for male baby boomers. I can appreciate helplessly hoping and wooden ships but that’s it the whole album is just more of the same.
Kwalitatief uitstekend.
Bit boring for me
The first two songs are good but then there’s 45 minutes of album left.
Album cover looks like it could have been released yesterday by some hipster singer/songwriter band. First song is too long. I generally dislike songs over 5mins. I like the organ on Pre-Road Downs. So far I like this more for chill background music than something I’d really be listening closely to. I do have helplessly hoping in my library already tho! It’s a very lovely song. The infinity selections after this album have been good!
None of the songs caught my attention. I don't know them and I probably won't remember them after this album.
This album really needed Neil Young.
Not my thing but okay
This one was a nothing album for me. Didn't do anything special. I liked the Marrakesh Express song well enough, but it all felt like background noise to me. I clearly know nothing about music but I just didn't jive with this one.
As boring as a traffic jam
It wasn't offensive but I wasn't overly into it. It just wasn't much. Decent as background music I reckon
classic folk americana, not my speed, tough to balance rating personal preference with acknowledging that critically it's good. I'm going to lean towards personal preference, wouldn't stop to listen all the way through again, classic album problem of all sounding samey
It was good but nor my genre
It's not terrible. But it is fairly boring. Perhaps my ears have been inundated with this style for too long, but this album doesn't seem all that special. Seems like peak boomer music. It's not pop per se, as there is some evidence of progressive chord changes and experimental tempos, melodies, etc. I'm not a fan of this style of vocals. The vocals are not unique and sound like every other band from the 1960s and 1970s. Nothing is catchy. None of the beats stick in my mind after a first listen. All the songs sound the same. I can't even remember any of the choruses immediately after listening. I'm always annoyed when the singing is just some form of repeating the phrase "oh baby" like 50 times. I don't even think I had a favorite song on this album, as none of them are memorable. I would not listen to this again if given the choice.
Forgettable and some unnecessary long to much fillers with dooo doo well thats what stood out to me most.
Was intrigued by the first song. The underlying rumbling snare and guitar stabs create a cowboy stand-off vibe that juxtaposes the orchestral string layers delicately placed on top. Kinda dramatic as fuck but I would happily have this as my background music in a cowboy shoot off. The rest of the album zoned out while I was walking home. Kinda forgettable overall, except for the strings layers on top through the album were nice. Probably wouldn’t listen again for at least 2 years
I know CSN are a big deal, but I honestly couldn’t tell you a single song they’ve released. I was thinking listening to this I would at least think “aaaah this is a CSN song!”. But nope. If I was watching a 60s/70s period hippy road trip series on Netflix it’s the kind of stuff that would soundtrack lots of dusty Cali sunsets. And you’d think, yeah this is cool. Outside of that, it’s a no from me.
Is it a bad album? No, of course not. Does listening to 2 songs feel like you’ve heard everything the album has to offer? It kinda does.
Track 12 - so true to their word Guessing this was an influential album that introduced a new American sound? Nothing too special about this for me, might even be 1.5 stars
Unexciting, never heard it before but felt like I had
Wooden Ships is the only thing redeeming this
Kakkosen ja kolmosen välis
ehhh
Chilled country vibes
Crap without young
nopt awful
So flipping boring
Meh
Mid
The guitar playing is really great and relaxing. The singing was pretty decent too. Not a whole lot I'd listen to on repeat, but it was a good listen while it was on
Meh
Ok, these guys may have been good back in the day, but 54 yeras have passed now and in my wee humble opinion it hasnt dated very well. Politely polished male harmonisation that isn't bad, they were wannabe Simon and Garfunkels, but not quite hitting the mark. Sadly this type of music is just a polar opposite of anything I'd want to listen to. As i listened to the album I thought these guys were OK for the late 60s... but then they even managed to completely kill Harry Neillsons Everybody's Talking, which is a shame, because there are soooo many excellent versions of that track, from Harry's original to The Beautiful South. This is not an album for me.
I've listened to this album at least 16 times in an evidently fruitless attempt to pair thoughtful review with a careful rating. But each time I sit down to write, I end up throwing up my hands in frustration because I can't justify giving 3 stars after forgetting if I even listened all the way through the last time (each time I thought I hadn't yet fully did). So this is an official f-you to the album that has somehow gaslighted me more than Amy Dunne gaslit Nick Dunne in Gone Girl.
C Suite: Judy Blue Eyes - 3 Marrakesh Express - 3 Guinnevere - 2 You Don’t Have to Cry - 3 Pre-Road Downs - 2 Wooden Ships - 2 Lady of the Island - 3 Helplessly Hoping - 3 Long Time Gone - 3 49 Bye-Byes - 2 I have nothing to say about this, other than it was better than I expected. However, it's a 2, so what does that even count for?
Friendly hippie singing circle. Boring.
Levy kuulostaa kanneltaan eli ruskealta. Miellyttävää, mutta ei ihastuta ja vangitse. Maanläheisyys toki lämmittää.
They need Young bad
Not horrible, not great
For some reason my review for this album was deleted and I have to write it again. It's a terrible task to do it again, so I will summarize - I like the iteration of the band with Young, it was okay, but I don't really find this version amusing in any way. Very average album altogether. That's it.
It’s a wonderful sound in search of more memorable songs
It's got 'Marrakech express' on it, which is a song I love. Lots of quite annoying '60s-style close vocal harmonies. Gentle, complex guitar work. All a bit samey though. 52 minutes and 14 songs felt very long!
Terribly average.
This is really quite dull. They've got the ingredients there to be much more interesting than they are - you can't really fault their singing voices (because Neil Young isn't part of the group yet), they are competent musicians, but the songs all sound the same, and the same isn't particularly lively in the first place. Lacks energy throughout, don't see this as an essential listen by any means. 2/5.
A very slow album. Actually almost put me to sleep, I had a real struggle keeping my eyes open at work. I was hoping that it would be a little more up tempo but alas, it wasn't to be. Best: 49 Bye-Byes Worst: Suite: Judy Blue Eyes
Very boring, given their talent!
If I wanted to listen to a bunch of hippies singing folk music, I wouldn't, because I don't want to listen to a bunch of hippies singing folk music. This may be my father's favorite album, but it certainly is not mine. I can see why many people enjoy Crosby, Stills & Nash, but they are not for me. Nevertheless, Wooden Ships and Marrakesh Express are quite good.
Ganz ... nett! Und erfreulicherweise noch ohne Neil Young. Das war's dann aber auch.
Quite frankly, boring. The "doo doo doo doo doo"s at the end of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" are great, and the guitar/effect on "Pre-Road Downs" is pretty cool but that's about all that really stood out for me. The rest was certainly listenable and inoffensive but didn't do much for me.
Pretty but samey
Not bad, not really my cup of tea
As soon as I saw it was folk rock I knew I was not going to enjoy it. After vaguely listening to the album I was right. Highlight was: Marrakesh Express
Some of the lyrics were good, but it felt like I was listening to the same song over and over again
Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Definitely didn't push the right buttons for me.
It was ok. Just not a huge fan of their music but I respect it
An alright folk album with some interesting songs. Not exactly looking forward to listen again.
5/10 meh
Familiar w this one
Not terrible.
Wasnt my favourite
It’s no Simon and Garfunkel
A classic, but one I won’t be listening to again. Took me three and a half hours to listen to it. I appreciate the influence they had and the harmonies. But meh….
Good harmonies, not really my thing
Yawn. Not my jam
While it's clearly the work of three very good song writers, they were clearly waiting for the 4th to show up in Neil Young. As it is, it fills me with the ick that that sort of '100 Drive Time Songs' compilation that you buy for your Dad as a thoughtless Father's Day gift gives you. He thinks Jeremy Clarkson tells it like it is, but there's a drug reference just gentle enough he can feel edgy, and a sad song for when he thinks about the divorce. America was miles behind the UK at this point, wasn't it... So much bland detritus like this in this list.
There are some great chill songs on here but I feel like I need to be in the right headspace or this thing just feels incredibly boring. Highlights: Marrakesh Express, Pre-Road Downs, Wooden Ships.
Some nice moments but overall not my kind of music. Slow moments that didn't do much for me
Boooooring.
Kind of like the Beatles or Led Zeppelin, but with a country twang. Reminds me of stuff my parents would play in the car when I was little.
Meh
I dug the stuff on the album that didn’t sound so much like CSN
No fue para mí :( me costó terminarlo
Lindo pero olvidable
nose no me gusta el folk
ehh.. I want to like it but it's harmonizing folk from the 60s. Some of it is decent.
I can see why it was popular but only like three songs really grabbed me. Overall not my thing kind of boring.
Yeah I’d just rather listen to the Beatles
This was a chore to get through. Beautiful harmonies, flawless instruments but man was it boring. Adding the faves to a 2006 remaster is skewing the ratings.
Music for people who clap when an airplane lands. Too many albums from the Neil Young Extended Universe (CSN, CSNY, Buffalo Springfield, all of the members' solo albums) on this list and they all sound the same.
Soothing but not my thing sorry lads
Meh
The harmonies are nice, and it's all very neat and tidy, but I just find it hard to love. It sounds a bit sterile to me. Marrakesh Express, Helplessly Hoping and 49 Bye-Byes stood out as tracks I might listen to again. 2.5
Really not my cup of tea
The album makes me think of laidback summer weekend afternoons. I appreciate the craftsmanship that they put into the harmonies and it's remarkable how they come across as one voice. All that said though, it's not really my cup of tea and I doubt I'll be revisiting the album for my personal enjoyment.
Songs: Wooden Ships.
Not a huge amount here TBH
The group before Neil Young was added. Very folksy music and several of the songs are recognizable; however, I am not sure I would request to hear any of the songs again. The cover of Everyone's Talking was probably the best song but the original is still better. I didn't hate it but it was just there. It is a mid 2 but I will round down.
It's just boring
Favourite track was “Marrakesh Express”. Overall didn’t really enjoy, found it lacking excitement as there was any real attack to the music. Found the extreme left/right mixing where vocals only in 1 ear a bit difficult, but I always think this!
Sympathique.
Prior to today I couldn't name a single song from this musical act. I knew they were pretty popular and revered and that Neil Young would later join them and that about covered it. Somehow I didn't know a single song or album title. Well I wasn't missing much. The whole thing came across as bland folk. They have fine harmonies and whatnot and it wasn't annoying level bad but I was not entertained by any of it. There was no standout. It just went on. Fortunately this album is relatively short. I don't think I will ever come back to this one.
Always regarded Crosby, Stills & Nash's music rather boring and uninspiring, and guess what? Relistening to this album only made me more confident in my opinions.
Some nice harmonies and decent songs. Annoying the album wasn't on Spotify so I had to put it on youtube where it didn't sound brilliant to me. Not especially memorable, I'm sure they've done better
nice enough. not one to go back to
Late 60's Singer/Songwriter/Folk/Country/Hippie-Album. Nothing stands out. Quite boring. 2/5.
Some of it's really nice for background listening but I'm not sure I'd put this on intentionally very often
Another typical ‘60s album. Nothing to groundbreaking but not unpleasant either. A few memorable songs but tbh mostly forgettable unfortunately. 3/10
Normally this kind of stuff is right up my alley, but I've listened to this before and my thoughts are the same after listening again: it's pretty boring.
A limping foetus of an album.
Really not my jam at all, sorry
“The wildness that should liberate great rock is so well-controlled that when it appears it seems to have been inserted just to prove the music is rock.”
First listen. I know a couple of the popular songs. The rest are new to me. CSN are great, but their sound is pretty dated now. Listening to that harmonizing on each song get's a little tired. Still an enjoyable album. 2/5
This album is okay. If you're into 60s folk stuff, you probably love it. It's just not my scene. But I didn't hate it either.
zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Generous 2. Most of this is hugely dull.
Poor
Somewhere between okay, and good.
60s Belle & Sebastian
Couldn't really get into it. As a first time listener, I found nothing exceptional about this, apart from the bass, which was lovely.
Very samey, kinda bland
Snooze. Sorry, just not my thing
Not for me.
A melhor cantiga deste álbum é o Wodden Ships. Nota:3/10 Data: 20/02/2026
Some beautiful lyrics, nice tunes, not really my bag though as a genre. Reminded me of Simon & garfunkel
Quite boring. Didn't do anything for me.
Not sure about this one. A bit dreary for me I think.
I know how influential these guys were, but it still doesn't change the fact that I unfortunately found this to be pretty boring. Redeeming qualities, absolutely, but I wouldn't return to this Saved: Pre-Road Downs
Saved Prior: None Off Rip: 49 Bye-Byes, Teach Your Children Cutting Edge: None Overall Notes: People adore this? Hated this on first listen, extreme overdose of meh on second listen. Simply was not interesting to me. Sorry.
In 3 daarvan zat David Crosby.
2
Nope
wan't my cup of tea.
Sin pena ni gloria
Caí en coma.
booooooo! didn’t finish
2.5
Wooden Ships has a really nice vibe. Most of the rest of the album is ok but feels kinda overworked. It gives off a mostly calm feelings but the lyrics feel "meh" in general. Clearly the group has potential but I'm not certain why this album specifically was chosen.
old mall music. totally forgettable.
Melko laimeaa menoa alusta loppuun. Yksi hittibiisi osu korvaan
3/10, Rather forgettable, and did not stick with me in the slightest
Fine and quirky but didn't grab me.
If it was in the background I wouldn't have known. Nothing that stands out, forgettable.
Meh
not so much of my taste but the recommendation it gave away was good
Not for me. 1/5
felt pretty generic
Poronga con patas
Songs like country Beatles.
The vocals are really lovely. Songs you can dance to, really catchy. Some of these songs are so pretty! Fav song is ‘You Don’t Have to Cry’.
Mehh
Sounds kinda samey Not for me Nope
I guess you had to be there
Nothing to report, dull.
Not for me
american drivel rock at its finest. It’s just repetitive shite, them harmonies people get so excited about just make my arse twitch.
I just can’t
I love The Byrds and have much affection for The Hollies and Buffalo Springfield but I totally can not be dealing with CSN or any of their variants - painfully bad. The system requires me to award a minimum of one star, very much undeserved in this instance. Tom.
not my vibe
Folk rock is not my thing.
not really my taste in music…sorry
give me a break from all this 60s folk/pop rock shit. i get it i'm not a boomer
Inte för mig
This album pmo for some reason
the beatles from walmart
Kam ich nicht rein. Musste also auch nicht rauskommen.
Hippy dross
Not a fan of these three
boooooring
2/10 - this is a generic 60s album
Too close to country for comfort.
Recently, I gave a Talk Talk album 2/5 because it was boring and pretentious. It wasn’t exciting enough to annoy me, but at least it was inoffensive.. This Crosby, Stills & Nash guff actively irked me, so I am obliged to award a lower score. Seriously, It’s bad. It’s like that scene in Family Guy when Peter says that The Godfather “insists upon itself”. This record insists upon itself. The music on this album is annoying, outdated and far too pleased with itself. It is just not relevant in 2025. A desperate imitation of The Beatles (also irrelevant in 2025), this album has no place on this list.
Ngl I listened to it three or four times and none of the songs were memorable
If I wasn't committed to trying to expand my music knowledge I wouldn't have made it past the first song on the album. Remains to be see if I can finish the rest of the songs
smug
Not my type of style, very American kinda country typa vibe
insufferable. i hate country jesus christ.
Really just one song for me. Again, great voices, but some of these songs are just too whimsical for me. We could do with a lot less humming.
Not my favorite album of theirs, pretty damn slow and sleepy
Why we all singing… reminded me if the monkeys met the doobie brothers
Boring
no
"Whoopa, hey mesa, hooba huffa, hey meshy goosh goosh" this has to be a little racist, right? I do not love this album.
really not my style
This folk stuff is boring as all hell. Just a hard listen. No me gusta. Hope to never hear this again. Negative score
i just didnt care ngl
Did not like.
didnt finish, boring
Singing accompanied by guitar, i'd pick a good reggae band over this any time.
Repetetive harmonies make this folk album dull.
Not my vibes
Absolute trash.
When I reviewed Deja Vu, I did not expect to land on a 2, but I did. I thought, “Would this be a 1 if it didn’t include Neil Young?” Well, here we are. I’ve already said a lot about my feelings towards hippie folk, all that still stands here. It’s not really the WORST thing I’ve ever heard, but it sucks a lot, I will never listen to it again, and it now exists on a curve against CSNY.
Horrible
I have a controversial opinion as I really found the harmonies annoying. No doubt they are technically brilliant but the only word I have for this album is bland. Just not my cup of tea
It's just too hippy dippy for me , no bite.
Boomer garbage.
I don't know a song and it doesn't matter. Definitely unimportant
soft gentle boring whisper of music.
Wasn't on spotify so I didn't listen to it
I expected/wanted this to be great, good, or at least innovative. It was just poor
Makes you want to punch a hippie in the face. I only wish David Crosby could come back to life so he could die again. At least his dirt nap finally shut him up.
Altisima mierda loco, que pesaos ⏬
Nicht meine Musik
not for me
Insipid.
The kind of album that makes me want to reconsider this project.
Not my type, really, I tried three times.
This is precisely the horseshit I think of when I think of when someone says '60s music. The fake harmonizing drives me fuckin' nuts. Kumbaya motherfuckers!
muy aburrido
There's an inherent conservatism to folk rock, but Crosby, Stills & Nash sniff at the boundaries, adding a bit of extra fuzz to the bass tone here, sprinkling some extra minor tones there. But then they create something as infantile as Marrakesh Express which instantly voids any attempt to take them seriously. To add insult to injury, the trio released it as a single. Why? Iggy Pop is right. "I mean, Marrakesh Express? It may be the worst song ever written."
I have no patience or appreciation for troubador Americana shit like this. Boring.
Tarkoituksellista ärsyttämistä? Haluan uskoa niin.
Bro song without words might be the most boring ass song I’ve ever heard. Honestly this album is so fucking slow like painfully slow. The only song I really like is Guinnevere but that’s probably just nostalgia since my mom used to play that song in the car all the time. But otherwise really lame
Was not a fan
Vond hier echt geen reet aan.
Of its time perhaps but sounds dull to my ears. An early 70s vibe that maybe the album influenced. Clearly these are talented people but it just doesn’t do anything for me as an album.
Not a fan of old acoustic. I find it boring with dull instrumentals.
Ugh what a load of shit. Spare me the late 60s folky garbage. 1/5.
horrible hippy shit.
chiant, et même pa sur spotify
....not for me. Sorry.
boring didnt finish :(
Mainstream of the 60s, nothing different and a bit sleepy. But works well as a lazy afternoon soundtrack.
nah. not my thing
ehhhh
Massively overrated. Uninteresting.
Smooth, but bland. Maybe they were better once Neil Young joined.
So straight away I have to say I’m not a huge fan of folk style music and/or the sound from the 70’s that this album is full of. So my hopes were not high when I got dealt this selection. My hopes sank even lower after each track I listened to even though I kept doing so objectively and without bias. It’s just not an exciting or enjoyable album at all in my opinion. Normally on a successful bands highest rating album there is at least one track you can admire and get a glimpse into why others like their music so much...I couldn’t even see a glimmer in any of these tracks.
