This was my first time listening to an Elvis Priestley album. I had heard best of and compilation. It was great, I felt I got it for the first time. I think it will go in the home roster.
The simplicity of the music allows the words to shine
First time hearing the album in full and it is mesmerising. I rarely read the wiki page whilst listening, but the fact that he had to deal with a bad piano on the night and came up with such an improvisation is mind boggling.

Funkier than I thought. Enjoyed the samba influences
I liked how it segued in and out the South African music at the start of the end.
Makes me happy. Listened a few times as I felt the grove
Of its time. The intro on Lazy was a snoozee
You feel the Quincy Jones production throughout. Liberian Girl is my favourite, not keen on some of the backing vocals.
Awesome8
This was my first time listening to an Elvis Priestley album. I had heard best of and compilation. It was great, I felt I got it for the first time. I think it will go in the home roster.
The entire album felt like it could be on a Café Del Mar compilation before they were a thing, so ahead of it's time?
Nope
American version of the French Touch
Production is very busy, like the musical interludes. Lyrics good Music feels samey
Grunge's baby step, still sounds fresh
I liked it, will require a few more listens
Glad I wasn't hangovered when listening to this. Not too familiar with Yes, now I know why; but wankish.
Pretty but samey
Nice
I only ever heard single from Lupe Fiasco before, this is rather good.
Sounds from where it's from, no real standout
Don't think it will make a lasting impression
I wish I could hear it for the first time again and have my mind blown all over again.
Samey samey.
It's quite broad in styles.
There are so many good things happening on this album but it doesn't seem to have adirection.
More familiar with the Neptunes and Pharrell's solo work, of it's era.
The cover versions are unnecessary fillers. This is the only song titled The Power Of Love that matters
I wasn't a fan before, I'm still not one.
Nice surprise, you can feel the influences of Isaach Hayes and John Williams.
One of my older sibling use to listen to it when I was a kid; not a fan then and not a fan now.
Someone listened to the Beasty Boys
Snappy
Or when Khaled reached out to the world, not my fav of his.
The first track is a decoy.
More contemporary take on the desert blues.
Charming
1998 in a bottle, played at every single dinner party I attended that year, but gets a bit boring.
I only knew the singles. I had to check how old she was when this was released aa some of the lyrics were a bit teenagey at times. Won't knowingly listen again
It really stands out from other genre albums of the era
Could not make it through it
Punky pop,etill sounds fresh
Made me wish I was listening to Kid Créole a couple of times
More interesting than I expected.
I had never heard it before, I don't think I would reach out for it again;production was a bit bland.
I was expecting something bubblegummmy, but it's a pleasant surprise.
I didn't get it at the time and i still don't.
I can hear how they influenced a lot of artists
Cheesy but not good cheesy
One tone
Good but not great Mariah
Lovely
It is timeless.
It's my second Rod Stewart's album, and I have come to the conclusion that he always sounds the same no matter what he tries it is either shout or not so shouty
I can't stand the rain is an amazing track, but the album is unfortunately MOR.
I've never intentionally listened to Cat Stevens yet every song is somehow etched 8n my memory
They often feel like the forgotten British band on that ear, solid effort especially when one remembers how young they were when this came out.
I seem to only know Ms Franklin from compilation album, big mistake! Soulful, voice like no other, it has been added to the library.
A bit all over the place.
Nope
Beats are boring. I gave up
Wait till you see them perform it live.
Better than I thought it would be. Not original but well executed
20+ years later, I am still suffering from Play fatigue.
I think I prefer their first album. It's good but because of the repetitiveness of some of the best it becomes a bit of a slog towards the end.
I struggled at times with the jazzy interludes.
Pleasant
The ubiquitous album of that year.
I had dismissed this as bubblegum pop, pleasantly surprised by the rockabilly influences.
This was difficult to track down. I enjoyed it, it's a whisper of what is to come musically
Bit of a mish-mash
Still sounds very fresh. That Eno touch👌
It's a journey
One of my fav albums of the period, really love the orchestration
Upbeat Beck. I really appreciate that he really has a sound that translates no matter what's going on.
Contains some synth classics.
This is where it all began. Prior to listening I had not realised how ingrained in our collective consciousness, this album was. You may not know or like that genre but the chances are you are already familiar with the work.
This is so good, I wished it was longer and that I had seen him live.
Very parred down, maybe heralding the return of the saxophone.
I struggled at the beginning but glad I stuck with it, not sure I'll revisit soon.
A good debut
I understand why I love it that much when it came out, Shirley Mason's voice stood out in a sea of Brit Pop.
moving, alway witty. Peak Dolly
The stitching skills to make all seamless👌👌👌
Enjoyable pop,it becomes a bit darker after Filthy Gorgeous
I only had one listen but will want to explore further. I can't believe I wasn't familiar with this. It's good the prog Rocky tendencies could get on my nerves
Classic
The first 3 songs are classics but it feels dated, they sound like a lot of their contemporaries the only distinction is the accent.
Not a massive fan
It is a collab album and some of them are much better than others, the opener had me worried with the Carlos Santana wankery but it picked up. Really liked Sally Mae with George Thorogood
They are too often overlooked but this has classic written all over it and once you hear it you realise its influence
Morrisey being Morrisey.
Forgettable.
I thought I would love this but found it underwhelming.
The guitars were amazing, will have to dwell further
I had heard the name referenced before but wasn't sure what to expect. Blend of jazz and blues, bit slow paced.
Of its place.
Match made in near heaven
I was gifted this album when I was 14 years old, listened to it once and forgot about it. Much better than in my memory, little bit more bluesy than 80's Alice and I like that.
This album came up a few days after Morrisey's Your Arsenal and you really notice what the other 3 brought to the party. Rythm section was tight, johnny Marr s guitar was stellar.
I always hear something new
Had to track a copy of this on Discog as it wasn't available on any of the platforms I subscribe to. Blended world music, surfing several genres.
It was familiar yet I do no it remember actively listening to it previously.
Not super familiar with the works, it was okay.
He has a great voice, leaning towards soul but very poppy
I struggled with it and did not make it to the end.
Classic
It was not the XTC I am familiar with, but enjoyed the folkiness
Given my aversion for the harp, I enjoyed it more than I thought i would
Sublime
I don't get the love.
It's fall listening, cosy, akin to wearing an old jumper.
The sound from outer space.
I don't think this album does her justice.
Could it be that I actually like Dylan?
I had no clue as to what this was going to be. I enjoyed it, it's interesting to hear samples other artists from that period used in a new way.
The simplicity of the music allows the words to shine
I was not expecting these guitars.
À strange universe I am enjoying.
It did sound a bit stereotypical, probably as it became a template for other artists but it was good.
Quite mellow. The Changes and the Kendrick Lamarr presence on Walk On By are the stand out moments.
I struggled, à bit blah
I struggled with it,bitvwanky at times
What a calling card
The sampling and lyrics are great
This is an old friend. Butler's guitars are amazing, lyrics and voice are good to. I think I prefer Dog Man Star
Only knew Pacific 202 prior to listening to the album. It could have stayed that way.
I have never delved into Herbie Hancock, but this was thoroughly enjoyable.
monologues 🤮 Too polished
I had not realised how many of the songs I knew from the Dandy Warhol were on this album.
All seems to roll into one.
Seminal west coast offering.
I struggled with this. It's a collection of good and less good songs, without much of a thematic thread.
I wouldn't call it enjoyable, I appreciated the covers but they sound lethargic compared to the originals.
Pré Bad Seeds, post Boys Next Door; the guitars from RS Howard are great.
I had not listened to The Next Day in a few years. It is still great Bowie
I am not a massive reggae afficionado, but found it quite enjoyable. Seemed to blend with other afro carib music.
Enjoyable. Love Action is the standout for me
I
One of my fav Christmas records.
Long winded
Meh
I feel like I am always hearing the same thing. Although not a pastiche, it is a bit stuck in time.
It sat unrated for a while as I wanted to revisit.
I had never heard Korn previously and was expecting something a little heavier and wilder. It sounds a bit by the numbers.
Simple and beautiful
Listening to Natty Dread, I came to the realisation that I had never listened to a studio album by Bob Marley& The Wailers, only the versions found on compilations. I found it far more enjoyable than I expected.
I wasn't familiar with their work, bit boring.
Sophomore effort, better Butler
It was a bit samey.
Relentless in a good way
Funky, groovy.
Full of classic songs.
I remembered liking it much more when it came out.
It's not my cup of tea. Adele has a great voice, however, I wish it feels very comfortable, we have a formula let's stick ro it. I wish she would work with people who would stretch her talent.
It's a trip!
Meh
You know when something comes out and your then partner tells you you won't like that; I shouldn't have listened.
Not a fav Bowie, too folksie
I was only familiar with Miss Lynn because of the film The Coal Miner's Daughter. I'm not a country fan but this was enjoyable
When I checked the album info, I was grateful it was short. There was a pause at the end of what I know was the first track, I felt happy I had made it, but no it carried on. Some of the themes were familiar but not for me
Radiohead being Radiohead
An intimate live, I feel right there listening to the stories.
The phrasing got on my nerves. Typical folkie stuff of the era.
Not a Beck offering I was familiar with. Quite mellow.
I had not realised before how old this was. 60's psychadelia and Roky's voice, what's not to love.
It's a great first solo outing for Bjork, full of classics.
Surprised as I thought they were a one hit wonder, but this is a solid effort.
Didn't do anything for me.
Off to rewatch Shogun Assassin
Pleasant
As punchy and refreshing now as when it came out.
Not as good as I remembered
Background music.
After thoroughly enjoying my first Elvis album on the list, this was disappointing.
I'm loving the chamber pop and transitions into more pared down numbers. A work of beauty.
More melodic than expected
It took quite a while to get through all 69 love songs due to its epic size, but it's just a like from me
Love
It's rather gentle but won't leave a lasting impression
An old friend
The live album to trump all live albums.
Bringing 60's sounds back to life. Subtle
I really loved this when it came out, still enjoyable.
This is great.
Didn't like it when it came out, still not liking it. Lacks finesse.
Had to listen a second time as it didn't register, fairly more.
His music kind of wormed itself in my subconscious mind.
Again someone I wasn't familiar with apart from the Toy Story soundtrack. Make me wish I was in a piano bar.
It didn't grab me that much
Not familiar with Tom Petty at all but quite bopping
Both parts are defined for both artist loved the interludes.
Although i discovered this after their 2000's opus, I think I prefer it's universe
I have the joy of appreciating both the lyrics and the music. The orchestration is great, he's a master lyricist, and has a masterful delivery
This
One of the great SY albums
It very much feels like a collection of singles and b sides rather than a fully fledged album. Shame
Less punchy than in my memories. Nice universe but too mellow.
Charming folk fusion
I'm still quite fond of this album, as much a breath of fresh air now as it was then.
I've enjoyed this far more than the Beatles album I've heard so far.
New to this album. The Bed was haunting.
Post punk by the numbers. Classic
Pleasant 60's fare.
Somehow captures their live energy, made sure I didn't listen too loud as they left my ears ringing for a couple of days last time I saw them live.
I don't understand how they passed me by as they are right up my street.
Paradise by the dashboard lights is a gem.
This list might turn me into a Randy Newman fan. Quitevthebraconteur
Not likely to be everyone's cup of tea, worked very well for me, and the ear cleanser I needed after the stream of poor offerings.
Mindless
Journey through dissatisfaction and melancholia.
It sounds quite simple when you first listen to it and then the layers appear. It's almost children's nursery rhymes updated for adults.
This is an all time favourite, I had saved it to cleanse my ears should I have a run of terrible albums.
It's more about the Neptunes than Timberlake. JT is no MJ
For the simple fact that my semi feral cat stared at the speakers for a few minutes, and he's quite blasé.
He definitely has a sound but not for me
Feels very much like a collection of singles. Love her voice
I knew their sound but not who they were. Mellow romp.
It's a great blend
It doesn't have any of the hits, but it's great Stevie.
It's a great blend but felt over produced.
Quite melancholic as always.
Enjoyable.
The lack of contraception seems to be at the root of a lot his problems. All jokes aside, I enjoyed this; going to listen to Yo-yo has never heard anything by her.
Mixed bag.
It's like being back at a 90's dinner party
The definition of bland, u2 by the numbers.
Keen on the beats not so much the vocals and lyrics.
When All The Way started I thought it was going to be a cover of Cure's Just Like Heaven.
Just no
I took a trip down memory lane when I Kind Of Blue was the soundtrack to a London summer, when the album cropped up on the list. So much talent on that record.
It's quite monotonic
Gentle indie of its era.
Got this on a dreary London may morning, it brightened everything. The rhythm went from fast and furious to sleazy mambo.
She has a great voice but the songs are forgettable.
I have a filling this was dinner party listening, non intrusive in the background.
On paper, this is something I should really enjoy; I think if I had head it at the time I would have enjoyed it but it didn't make it where I grew up. Hearing it as an as adult I find it bland. It's lost on me.
Wake the Witch is the standout track for me on this highly novative album.
I was very glad this was a shoelrt album. Very ornate
David Berman is an under rated songwriter.
It writes it's own rules.
I never realised how much some of the samples were recycled from one Wu project to the next.
Didn't grab me at the time, still not doing it.
I'm not a massive folk fan, but this is charming and ethereal. Really liking Sandy Denney's voice.
Chamber pop at its finest.
Not my fave Doors album.
It is so long, I like the story but the music is so fussy my brain can't.
I go back to The Gun Club time and time again. It really brings the Fire
One of his better solo outing.
This is an arresting debut
The Mekons are a name I have heard and read about but never actually listened to. The first few bars of the opening track had me worried I was doing to listen to synth folk so I was pleasantly surprised when it properly kicked in. One going on the listen again pile
Did anyone check on the piano after this performance?
Half the tracks made me think I was in a motoring show, the other half made me thing "oh, I have heard something similar but better"
Her voice is always good but there is some lack of flare in the production making it sound like muzak.
Juvenile calling card.
Her voice is so emotional, and the production is gorgeous but I wished for the raw edges of Frank.
Dreamy soindscapes
Still sounding fresh.
I listened to it on repeat when it came up.
It reminded me of the first Young Gods' eponymous first album that came out the same year, and prefer much more
Probably the definitive 80's soul album.
Still sounding awesome
This is my first time hearing Common as a recording artist, I enjoyed the album.
Not my fave album by the Smiths but a pleasant experience.
Was it a tribute to Ennio Moriccone?
I think I prefer Piazzola solo.
I kept this back as an ear cleanser. With its much copied cover art, it's one of SY's classic.
I tried twice and gave up after 2 songs
Sounds almost minimalist by today's output.
As solid now as when it first came out.
Looking at the Robert Crumb cover, I thought psych, the name didn't ring a bell and conveyed funk vibes. I only tweaked when Ms Joplin's voice resonated. Apart form said. Voice there were not anything special about this album.
Takes you across to a strange melancholy
I did struggle with it, yet I remember liking it a lot more when it came out, felt a bit of its time
On paper this should tick a lot of boxes, yest I found it a bit soulless.
10 years ago, I would have hated this; however since dipping my toes in the free jazz universe find it fascinating and looking forward to listening to some actual Ornrtte Coleman records
It has some of my favourite Neil Young songs, Crazy Horse is an amazing backing band to help bring them to life.
More velvet than satin
I wasn't familiar with early Liars but it's amazing
It seems they have taken a swerve at Oasis and haven't moved on.
This is the first full Siouxsie album I listened to and I enjoyed it.
It's still punchy yet I felt underwhelmed
I'm not a country folk type of person but there is something about Emmylou Harris' voice that is timeless.
When I first saw the name of the album and band, I was expecting some 50's blues album. This is super polished and lacks rawness of the genre. It's also long with guitars verging on the wanky side
Winter is a stunner
I was traumatised by the penguins in Part IV's video, I saw it too often. Better than I remembered
First time listening to an Eagles album and I don't hate it as much as I thought I would.
This was like being back dancing the night away at Le Diapason I my teens
Sold mid 00s edm
It's been spinning round these parts for 30+ years mainly in warm weather. Not keen on the inclusion of Bambu
There cannot be a bad Scott Walker
More fabulous than I recalled.
One of my fav band of the era
MOR hair thingie
I had not listened to this album since my copy was lost in a move. I still love it's gentleness.
I got the funk but not the punk.
I tried, I heard, I left to wash my ears out.
I wasn't familiar with this offering, seems to be a catch all of the sounds of the era but done well.
I like Ride a lot, and this album is nostalgia filled for me
Ray Charles is always amazing, however I have a preference for his livelier numbers
Back to my clubbing days
It's a Stooges album, it's always a good thing.
The best Bad Seeds era but not my fav from this period.
She has a terrific voice, still sounds as fresh 20+years after it's release.
Not as attention grabbing as Unknown Pleasures but still good in a darker sort of way.
Not super keen on the production, but it does hold some classics.
I will confess there was a split second when I thought this was a Muppets album, and once that thought is in your head it is hard to get rid of.
Pleasant, does not try to hide his influences but a bit of a throwback.
It felt very samey.
One of the better offerings of that era
Never heard it previously, makes me want to dig deeper
Perfect piece of noise
I don't know what I was expecting from Charles Mingus but this was better
I do not like it, yet due to its association with childhood birthday parties it is a 3.
I have a soft spot for the Mambo King.
It's an interesting exercise and Metallica 's music allows for this kind of experiment, however it should have remained a live exercise.
I suppose it is a take on dance hall, not just the one I was expecting. It's mid 90's electronica, perhaps one of the better example.
So much changed when I first hearts when it came out. Still an7ncg to the gut.
I love it as much as the first time I heard it.
I'll leave the 5 for the Wu-gazy mix.
I like Beyoncé, I appreciate Lemonade as a visual piece but when just listening to the music it misses that narrative device.
Perfect pop
Not as memorable as when it came out
I enjoyed the math Rocky moments.
I always forget the technique involved in the genre and always blown away by it
I likes it a lot, tropicalia.
I enjoyed the ast sidr the most because of the jazz.
Although I was familiar and loved with Take Five, I never looked beyond that. Discovered this a major inspo for Claude Nougaro.
Supremely atmospheric, great cameos.
Completely passed me by when released, k.d. Lang's voice is stunning (also amazing live) Constant Craving and Miss Châtelaine are my faves on the album.
As great as a meeting between two legendary musicians can get.
One of my favourite Bowie album, his cover of Wild Is The Wind might be my favourite version of that song.
Never heard of them, yet right up my street.
It felt a bit generic beric despite its brazilian roots.
Is it wrong that i kept thinking about Senor Coconut when Showroom Dummies came on?
Classic
Short and snappy. I'm not a fan of contemporary r'n'b but this sounded fresh. I can see myself revisiting.
Not my favourite album of theirs but it aging well.
I felt very familiar as I grew up in the 80's but a bit flat.
I had not listened to this in over 10 years, and yet I still remember it's ubiquity at the time. I enjoyed this trip down memory lane a lot.
Not my fav from Roxy Music but still good.
Enjoyable garagey romp.
This entirely passed me by when released, and yet it is truly up my street with its math rockiness. Joining the library.
Not my favourite offering of theirs.
Had it been a first listen, I would have been wondering what was going on until the mastery of the guitar playing caught my ear
This is an album I am quite familiar with but had not listened to in years. I think he has a love it or hate voice and delivery and I love it.
So evocative.
Better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be too folky protest songy but I enjlyed it.
Missy is on point throughout.
It's not what i want from a Jobin album, and i don't really care for Sinatra
This is a little gem, going against the era's grain. i am happy it's put the Monks back on my radar.
The ethereal quality of Elizabeth Fraser's voice set it apart.
I can't believe I had not heard this before.
That was something I had never heard before but makes me want ti dig deeper into Holger Czukay's output.
That cover of I don't wanna grow up (swoon)
I won't add it 5o my regulat rotstion. Bit bland
I only knew two of the songs, Somebody To Love and White Rabbit yet the album sounds really familiar maybe because it has entered the psyche as music of that era.
Not my fav David Bowie but a great one nonetheless. Kept listening out for Luther
Makesbme want to rave on my commute.
Childhood sunday mornings on a plate.
Not what i expected when I saw the cover. Who knew a song could inspire so many.
It was a slog to get through, i really wanted to like it but no.
I couldn't get behind the production on this.
Way too smooth for the morning commute.
It was a struggle to get through, feels bit of a let's try anything and see what sticks.
Classic
Liam has a very monotone whiny (or isi t nasal delivery). The album felt a lot like a variation on the same theme, not super innovative.
Middle of the road Zeppelin
Only because it isn't my favourite of theirs.
The peacefulness i needed on my commute.
I soent a lot of time musing over the fact thaf despite listening to this album quite a lot when it came out, I never carried it with me, and then it dawned on me that I used this as a gateway to other artists.
Still sounding fresh
I kept on being reminded of Roxy Music which is a good thing.
My first Fugazi (that I bought), love it just as much today.
It's blur being blur but just speeding it up in parts.
UK Garage is not my thing, felt like i was in a mid noughts lounge
I really enjoyed this, I had nerver heard it nor heard of the band, a bit of a kick in the teeth. Off to go through their back catalogue.
At one point I worried this woukd go into achy breaky heart territory but it didn't,that's a good thing.
Sunshine on a plate, love tropicalia.
This was entirely new to me, fun listen of its era
I was not expecting a concept album from the Bee Gees.
They definitely have a sound that i can't get behind.
Has a certain bland quality
The Bad Brains album I was tge least familiar with, I think we're going to get better acquainted quite soon.
I preferred it to If You're Feeling Sinister so an extra point.
This has to be the ultimate break up album.
I think it is a little gem
It's still a really nice listen.
Off to listen to the back catalogue.
Serial Killa finally got me looking into the origin of Suicide it's a Suicide (Moshitup by Just Ice and KRS). I have a soft spot for Doggystyle, it is the first 90's rap album I heard (my cousin came back from cultural exchange in the US with a copy) hated it at the time but it grew on me over time.
It is a 3 because all I can find is a single, but I like Gil Scott-Heron
It didn't grab me at the time and it still doesn't, pretty generic fm radio fare of its time.
Thd more I listen to Brian Eno, the more fascinated I am.
It's actually a 2.5; not what i expected in a good way but it will necessit revisits
One of my all time favourites, Personality Crisis is the perfect opener.
Someone has listened to Bob Dylan.
It's all about Street Life.
This is when I discover that there is more to Slade than that Christmas song and it ain't half bad.
Whilst I appreciate the artistry, I do struggle with psychadelica.
It's blah,it's trying to do a bit of everything and being successful at none.
I really like the Mirwais production, but not my favourite bun of Madonna.
I got back to back Madonna albums (lucky me), i found it easier to engage with Music than with Ray of Light, only liking Frozen. Shanti/Ashtangi is awful and a clue that we are in the yoga era of the artist.
It sounded a bit twee from where I was standing.
I found his voice quite whiney so this was astruggle.
2nd Springsteen album I am rating after Darkness at the edge of town. Enjoying the production but lyrically i preferred the first album I listened to.
It feels like the kichen sink was also thrown in
Jet'm has got to amongst the more intetesting take on Gainsbour
I'm not a fan of the vocoder, it is clearly a sound but not for me.
For the lyrics stopping me in ny tracks (which had not happened in a while on this list)
It was a game changer for me on its release, the perfect blend of sounds i didn't know i needed
French touch heaven
Bowie's albums are like picking a favourite child. I like it better than a Aladdin Sane but less than some others. Moonage Daydream is my favourite track on this one.
Enjoyed it far more than i was expecting from the cover.
The synth sound was distracting.
I got very bored 4 songs in.
What an opener! I enjoyed the album.
I am not a folksy person but having heard of the passing of someone close to me hours before listening, Who Knows Where The Time Goes gave me moist eyes.
Variations on a theme had me worried, it reminded me of the day someone got a classical music cd by a disco orchestra for my dad by mistake (we laughed a lot that Christmas). This is middle of the road easy listening (and i like easy listening a lot)
I just can't get into it
First time hearing the album in full and it is mesmerising. I rarely read the wiki page whilst listening, but the fact that he had to deal with a bad piano on the night and came up with such an improvisation is mind boggling.
Late night listening.
It felt a bit samey, I played it in the office and the conclusion was tthat we were at some kind of ceremony.
In every dream home a heartache is one of my favourite songs, and I really enjoy the album
It is a lot of cover versions that are not the greatest versions of the originals.
Don't Stop is a stroke of genius, and on a first album no less. This album is full of deserved swagger.
It's classy disco (all in the name)
Not my favourite Neu! Album
I don't know nothing about country music, this was a pleasant romp, not sure I would reach out again.
I didn't see what the fuss was when it come out and I still don't. It's one of the more tepid example of French electro pop out there
I really enjoyed the raw sound, it's not been polished and it's all the better for it.
When I first heard this album many moons ago, it went over my head. I am now able to appreciate Ian Dury's witty lyrics which is making it so much more enjoyable.
Pleasant pop but that's it.
There are a few classics on this album. Really different to a lot of things that were out of the time and still stands out.
An extra point for that little bit of Satie.
It felt like a collection of greatest hits but what a voice.
I had forgotten about that one.
What a golden voice.
I saved this for a summer's day. Tropicalia at its finest.
Couldn't get into it.
Not a fan. Not quite industrial enough, poppy.
The first couple of songs were grating, but it turned into something more folk than medieval to my relief. Won't run back for another listen.
Too hippy folksy for my taste. The second point is for the weird
It was a pleasant surprise.
She has such an interesting voice.
Slightly more bearable than Swift.
