First album generated I had never heard of before. Great bass lines and some cool mandolin bits, but a few tracks have that really maximal 80s vibe where everything is right on the edge of being overproduced. Some of these songs are absolute bangers but others get a little too jammy (you really have to convince me a song should be over 5 minutes and I’m not sold here). Overall, really unique sound, glad I gave it a listen.

I had no idea they were around before their disco era. That was a much better choice for them than whatever this is. A British band taking a stab at American Southern rock is not it.
