More than a feeling was great as expected. The rest kinda meh but not terrible
Not my favourite Sabbath album but enjoyable all the same
Prog Rock is very hit or miss. Mostly miss like this one.
Enjoyable and instantly forgettable
Probably the best thing I can say is that it’s inoffensive
Not my usual listen but I’d forgotten how much I enjoy it
As rock operas go.. I prefer Tommy.
One of those albums where you realise why you only know one song from it. But overall not terrible.
Overall great but Respect is surprisingly uncomfortable when sung by a bloke.
Nice to listen to but didn’t make an impression
Boring self indulgent crap.
Not bad but did have me falling asleep on the train
This left me with so many questions
Music was alright but lyrics were stupid.
‘You can check out any time you like but you can never leave’ just makes me happy every time I hear it
Cheerful background music
Accidentally turned it off halfway through and didn’t notice for about 40 minutes.
Technically good but just not my thing
Not a huge fan of the Beatles normally, but enjoyed the covers a lot
Enjoyable but nothing really stood out
It started off strong but I did find myself losing interest
Started strong but then went weird
Enjoyed it more than anticipated
Again not really my vibe but I can appreciate it.
Only artist where I’ve ever walked out of a gig. Self indulgent crap
Apart from the two recognisable songs it was a bit of a washout
I feel like you can call me Al will haunt me for the rest of my days
I like Sinead O’Connor but just didn’t love the album
Best album yet. Absolute banger.
Sound of my childhood. Got weirdly emotional listening to it again.
Good but a bit samey in places
Very varied. Not all of it good.
Wasn’t terrible but I didn’t love it either
Legit got this album for Christmas and loved nearly every second of it
Words cannot describe how much I genuinely love this album.
Actually quite enjoyed this one. Surprisingly.
Didn’t love it though parts were kinda relaxing
I’d been hoping a Santana album would be on here. Oye como va is one of my all time favourite songs.
The kinks are always great. Not my favourite album of theirs but an enjoyable one.
Better than I expected to be honest
I enjoyed it but also nothing really stood out.
Man sings like he’s walking on uneven ground blindfolded.
I really need to listen to The Doors more.
Wasn’t bad just not good either
I think I would have enjoyed this a lot more if it wasn’t live
Not my thing really but that didn’t mean it was bad.
Started off well but went downhill
Enjoyable but nothing stood out. Not my favourite Supertramp album.
But if a non-event really
Bit of a let down to be honest. There were a couple of good tracks but In A Hole was just unpleasant to listen to.
It was enjoyable but wayyyy too long
Not really sure what it was aiming for but it didn’t hit.
Err ok? Kinda forgettable.
Was unsure at first but I did enjoy the last few tracks
Didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either.
ZZ Top was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. This album made me happy.
Not really my kind of music but Step On was played a lot in my house growing up so I have a bit of a soft spot for it
Actually enjoyed this more than first anticipated
Was anticipating maybe finally seeing what the hype was about. But no. Repetitive and boring.
It’s no Chinatown or Renegade or Black Rose or Jailbreak or even Thunder & Lightning, but it is Thin Lizzy so of course it was great.
I enjoyed it at the time of listening but at the time of reviewing I can’t really remember much about it
Didn’t enjoy this as much as I was anticipating. It was alright.
As this was the third Pink Floyd album generated within the week, and the other two were less than impressive, I went into this expecting it to be dire. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it. But I also can’t remember anything about it.
Definitely feel like this would be better appreciated by others.
One of those that leave me questioning the selection criteria for this list.
I hated every second of this. By far the worst album yet and if I could give 0 stars I would.
Recent albums have been pretty dire so this one felt alright.
I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would
I’m not really a fan of The Beatles. That being said this was an absolute delight and reminded me my teenage years when one of my friends was obsessed with this album pretty much for the entirety of 2008-10.
It was ok. Nothing special.
This was surprisingly delightful
I do enjoy a bit of Kraftwerk every now and then but an entire album is just too much for me
Most of this was just uncomfortable to listen to.
This was completely new to me but a really really enjoyed it.
I wanted to hate this more than I did
I think it speaks volumes that I was more annoyed listening to this than I was about the district line screwing up my morning commute.
Weren’t bad just seemed to go on forever
Given the length I had hoped for better
Back to back stones albums. Ouch. That being said, this was infinitely better than Exile on Main Street
Quite boring to be honest
This was actually a great mood boost at the end of a not particularly good day.
I saw Roger Daltrey perform the whole of Tommy live when I was 16. Pinball Wizard is still very much the highlight.
Not bad but apart from the last two songs, not particularly memorable either
Haven’t listened to hey hey my my in years and had completely forgotten it’s existence so that was a nice surprise. The rest was kinda forgettable.
Thought I was going to enjoy this a lot more than I actually did. Some bangers but some bits dragged.
I went into this kinda dreading it because of the length. Yes it took 2 days to actually get through it but I actually did enjoy it.
Fluctuated wildly between kinda enjoying it, and it just being noise.
It were alright I suppose
Not normally a fan of live albums but this one was pretty decent
Initially I was very skeptical but it was actually great music to listen to and concentrate on getting work done. Really enjoyed it in the end.
It’s alright but El Camino is a better album.
It was ok but nothing special
Quite enjoyed it despite not being my usual thing
This made me feel nostalgic despite never hearing it before
Not terrible but not terribly interesting either
Convenient this one popped up the day after Brian Wilson died. Ok album.
Apart from ‘Where Is My Mind?’ it was pretty bland and uninspiring
Enjoyed it a lot more than anticipated
Started off ok but I got bored quickly
‘Grace’ was one of the set pieces I had to study for music gcse so this took me back.
Not terrible. Actually reasonably ok but just a bit to bland for it to be interesting.
Weird and not at all what I was expecting
Weird. But like, good weird.
I was expecting more from this. Extra star for the Motorhead cover (which was a nice surprise).
I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would
I really liked this to begin with but by the end I was a little bored
I’m so used to listening to The Damned’s version of Alone Again Or, so this was nice. The rest of the album was alright.
Not my usual kind of thing but I really enjoyed it.
Not technically great but fun all the same
Not surprised to be getting this one the day after Ozzy died. But let’s face it this was always getting 5 stars.
It wasn’t terrible but I didn’t really enjoy it much either
It was ok. Parts were enjoyable. Parts were difficult to listen to.
Meh. Like it wasn’t bad but I didn’t love it either
Surprisingly hard to listen to the whole thing before giving 5 stars.
Went in with low expectations but actually didn’t mind it
Fun but I think ultimately lost on me.
There were a couple of good songs but overall not that exciting
It was alright but not really my thing
Christ he’s whiny isn’t he
It was ok. Nothing special.
I thought it might be good at first and then it got real boring real quick
It might be because I’m sleep deprived but I had a good time with this one
I didn’t realise how big a fan of Moby my dad must be because I knew more of these songs than I was expecting.
Secondly another Music GCSE set piece flashback moment with Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad
Layla of course was great but the entire rest of the album was a disappointment.
Apart from the first track it was kinda meh.
I listen to this album in full once every few years and I always forget how happy it makes me
Not actually as bad as I was anticipating
Again, not as bad as anticipated but came up too close to the last Public Enemy album for me to really care about
I forget how much I actually enjoy Panama. The rest was alright.
While I’ve never been a huge fan of Adele, I’m also not an idiot.
Not actually as bad as I feared given it’s essentially 2 hours for 4 tracks. But still, I will never listen to this again.
Not bad but nothing stood out
Well it wasn’t good but it didn’t make me want to pierce my eardrums so that’s something
Potentially unpopular opinion but I think Ramones are overrated.
Not bad but not interesting
Meh. Wasn’t wildly impressed.
I’ve been dreading this day since starting this list
I didn’t mid it but after a while it was a bit repetitive
Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised
There was a priest at my school who was such a fan of ABBA that whenever he did assemblies he’d have Fernando playing on the panpipes as we walked in. He was a great teacher and it made me happy to think of him again.
Started off reasonably well but got a bit samey after a while
Surprised by how much I enjoyed
Not really my thing but not terrible
It was ok nothing stood out really
I don’t know if this just hit me at the right time or what because I really enjoyed it.
Omg two absolute bangers on the bounce this is an excellent week
Ok. Went a bit weird toward the end.
Never heard of this artist before but really really enjoyed the album
Listening to You Oughta Know on the tube is a lesson in self restraint. It’s nearly physically impossible not to belt it out.
On principle I’m not usually a fan of songs over 20 minutes but this was so weird I couldn’t help but enjoy it
Not my thing but not terrible
Didn’t know what to expect but enjoyed it nonetheless
It was ok but not really my thing and I did find myself losing interest
I’ve never been a fan but it wasn’t all bad tbh. A little repetitive but I didn’t not enjoy it.
It was alright. Not blown away by it.
Not terrible but didn’t need to be this long
Started ok but got a bit boring toward the end
This was an ordeal and I did not enjoy
I could not tell you a single thing about this album. Didn’t hate every second though so it’s got to get an extra point for that.
The overwhelming majority was just mildly depressing background noise
I have a lot of love for Nina
