Reviews (page 5 of 14)

Honestly my favorite album on this list so far. Listening to it brought me back to all the times I listened to it in my bedroom as a teenager learning how to play since I’ve been loving you, and in my car listening to immigrant song. Some of my favorite songs of all time on here.

Absolutely remarkable album. Perhaps underrated at the time, but so rich and diverse.

It's my favourite LZ album and i'd give at least 2 others 5*s so this is an easy rate.

Classic

It's a hard choice, but I've always picked this as the best Led Zep album. Pretty much perfect.

I always think I don't like zip very much but I think what I'm really just tired of the few songs they play on homogeneous Classic Rock Radio. Fantastic album

Very easy listening

Probably my favourite album of all time. Still holds up, so completely alive

Masterpiece, one of my favorites from Led Zep

One of my favourite Led Zeppelin albums, some classic tracks on here

One of the greatest rock albums of all times

There are not many hits on this album so I'd guess most listeners (me included) don't recognize most of the songs. But wow, can these guys play. Probably more than other Zeppelin albums you can really hear all the intricacies and range of their abilities, Page and Jones in particular, due to the heavy acoustic motif. I mean, I always knew they were good and super talented but I did not realize how good until now. The string work (and there are a lot of stringed instruments and playing styles) is just ridiculous. Friends and Celebration Day made me stand up and pay attention - from Page's acoustics and Jones' string arrangements on the former to Page's slide guitar on the latter and Jones' organ synth segue between the two. Their ability to play the blues is on full display on Since I've Been Loving You. That's where I started to notice Bonham's range of ability. And then he crushes it on Out on the Tiles (his playing and his composition of the other instruments). Gallows Pole then seems to show everyone's range - love the arrangements and different stylings. At one point I asked myself \"so what's Plant doing on this album?\" Sure, with all the acoustics his vocals take center stage and really fill your ears - which most cannot do. But then I listened to Hats off to Roy Harper - what he does with his voice at the 1:50 mark to turn it into an instrument itself is incredible. As I went back for more listens I realized he was doing other unique effects with his voice on other songs (like the Immigrant Song and That's the Way). These extras were even more impressive than his sheer energy. Overall, this album goes to show these guys could play any style you wanted.

This album is a master class in how to make an acoustic guitar rock. Pretty much love every track (although the last track is only "ok" in my book). Immigrant Song rocks, even if the lyrics are a little cheesy. Love the strings on Friends. Celebration Day is another cool track and I like how Friends segues into it - very cool slide guitar here (and elsewhere on the album). Since I've Been Loving You is a little on the long side, but is worth listening to closely - great guitar throughout with a fantastic solo in the middle. Out on the Tiles has a great groove. Gallows Pole is a classic - a classic with banjo, no less. Tangerine moves nicely from calm acoustic waves to rocking (with a bit of country twang at the end). That's the Way is very moving and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp is a fun acoustic track. Hats Off to (Roy) Harper is a bit of a meandering ending...really feels tacked on, but overall the album is just great. Easy 5.

Hi- Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You, Tangerine, Bron-Y-Aur Stomp Lo- Hats off to (Roy) Harper Led Zep's effort before they *really* hit it big with VI is appreciated with classics like Immigrant Song rocking out, Since I've Been Loving You and Tangerine pulling at the heartstrings, and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp providing the stomp-clap goodness years before Queen did it with We Will Rock You. Hats off to (Roy) Harper was not a great send off for this album, but it's not for us, it's for Page and Plant's friend Roy Harper.

Seems like they were beginning to find their own way as opposed to just doing what had been done better and louder than everyone else. This album seemed more experimental and progressive than the first two but still very blues influenced.

I like a couple zeppelin songs, but I never took the time to sit down with any of their albums all the way through. There’s a specific blend of acoustic instruments with later rock sensibilities that works extremely well for me (e.g. Jethro Tull is a band I love *way* more than they deserve by any objective measure. Or like King Gizzard’s use of harmonica hits my brain really nicely). I don’t quite know the exact alchemy there, because there’s a lot of folk rock that I can’t fucking stand, but Zep III is like right in the sweet spot. Loved it.

As far as I'm concerned Zeppelin 1-4 are flawless and I will stand by that until I die

Some of the greatest hits of the band, with really good songs

Qualquer disco do Led leva 5 estrelas!

Peerless. From the album cover design and artwork onwards, a masterpiece showing Zep at their best.

By the hammer of Thor!

I mean, it's Led Zeppelin.

A very excellent rock production that sounds super varied especially for its time

Not the best Led Zeppelin album, but have a lot of good songs and surely 5/5

Really just an amazing album front to back. Maybe my favorite of theirs

Pure classic from first to last song. Every song a stand alone hit.

Heerlijk album met een heel sterke intro-song

Personally, this is my favourite Led Zeppelin album. Introducing folk elements makes a great band even greater.

2022.01.07

Masterpiece

Amazing and iconic albums. Every song is brilliant

Just an excellent album. Not sure what else to say. I remember my dad playing me Gallows Pole on guitar when I was a small child, a bit of a weird sing when you think of lyrics but hey. Interesting fact, the original record cover had a wheel on the side that you could turn and make the image change through the little holes.

i’ve already talked about this album it’s so fuckin’ good I think this is where they were really able to show some of their best stuff like LZ-I and II were great but I think they really tuned their sound to a new great level with this album, and all the better stuff to come after this is a 10/10, please check out Led Zeppelin’s discography

Great album. Nicely different from the others, but still classically Led Zep.

One of my faves

One of my favorites! Love every song!

Absolute bangers all the way through, can't believe i never listened to Zep. Gallows pole FUCKS

Classic Album. What’s there not to like about Led Zepplin and arguably their best album of all time.

I hated this album. The first song inducted like Ohio and was a great 👍but the second song was really amazing and the fourth song was really bad too. I’m not so happy that Brett blew his mind away with seven xylophones of thoughts so I could use his bathroom. But the fact is that the third song inducted like kneeling star shirts. The fifth album, I mean song, couldn’t really find a way out of the door when it got hungry. The sixth and seventh songs were each the same person, and each of them had different tastes in food. When they had dinner together, they ended up laughing at the trumpet while they rained on the table. After the eighth song, I could barely remember the last time I heard the monkey outside the train bus. That’s how long it was.

Classic for a reason. I appreciate the varied musical styles

Yea I mean this is pretty great.

such a talented fucking band. immigrant song tangerine these are incredible. their range. fantastic!

Fav songs: - Immigrant Song - Gallows Pole - Tangeringe - Since I've Been Loving You

Awesome unique sound. A classic!

Excellent, classic rock at its best.

This album has a little bit of everything. I find myself returning to this album more than any other Zep album. I'm not saying it's their best. I'm just saying what I'm saying. "That's the Way" and "Tangerine" always get played to the end.

A thunderous masterpiece in a string of them from this band.

absolute banger

First time I heard it. I liked it.

Well, this could be the 1001st time I've listened to this classic work. Great stuff.

One of my favorite LPs of all time. This is getting five stars, and I don’t even need to hear a note. Listened again and it’s as good as I remember. Rock, blues and fusiony goodness with world class instrumentation and one of Rocks all time best vocalists. What’s not to like? Well, maybe the final cut “ Hats off to Roy Harper” as that song is fairly grating. Trivia nugget - Roy Harper is a real dude who was the (originally) uncredited singer on Pink Floyd’s “Have a Cigar”.

incredible offering. Huge way to start an album.

Led Zeppelin III was often regarded as the slightly unloved middle child between Led Zeppelin II which launched the band on the road to rock stardom and Led Zeppelin IV, which is the their true masterpiece. The band's willingness to break out into various styles, from bluesy rock to straight blues, folk rock to pure folk alongside the expected heavy rock songs, seemed to put a lot of people off. But this album is a classic in its own right and has come to be regarded as such. Bangers from start to finish!

What a strong start to the album and it just goes from there really

I huck-ing love Zeppelin! Havn't listened to their third album as frequent as the others. However to begin this journey with one of my favourite artists excites me. Stoked!

One of my very favorites. A masterpiece.

This is a top Led Zeppelin album for me. Going to Wales was probably the best thing the band could have done in that point in their career. Here they gain a healthy infusion of folk influence. Jimmy Page's open tuning experiments are some of the highlights of the album. I view this album as Led Zeppelin's Revolver, an album that paved the way for their apex, in this case, the self titled fourth album.

Tolles und wichtiges Album.

Zeppelin rules

Hands down best rock album. Arguably the album that made Rock what it was in the 70s and what it is now

FIVE stars. Strong album. A classic start to finish.

Led Fuckin' Zeppelin is amazing!

GET THE LED OUT!

The real secret to Zep's success was Page's legendary quality control - just about any song on a good Zeppelin record could be a single, and if you were to ask any random music fan about their favorite Zeppelin songs, you'd end up getting wildly different answers from across their catalogue. It's why a largely uncharacteristic record like III works so well - in the end, the largely acoustic folk that comprises about half the record sits surprisingly well next to groove-rockers like "Immigrant Song." Of course it wouldn't be an early Zeppelin record without a super-long blues track, so here's "Since I've Been Loving You," which admittedly does feel less dragged-out than some of their other lengthy blues jams. Fantastic rhythm section - locked-in, never overdoing it. A high point in an album run that was one of the best ever.

One of Zeppelin’s most complete albums - nothing that doesn’t still hold up as a classic

Classic album, front to back. Nothing else to say.

I mean c'mon. Whoever doesn't rate this a 5 is a straight up fool.

When I first dove into Led Zeppelin’s catalog a few years ago, I was surprised at how varied their music is compared to their mainstream reputation. This is the first album where they kinda started to deviate from the blues rock they’re mostly known for. “Since I’ve Been Loving You” is probably one of my favorites of theirs.

Why can I not give this six stars!

It's been so long since I've listened to any Led Zeppelin. Always a classic. I think this is probably one of their albums I've listened to the least throughout my life.

5/5 one of their best

Clássico! Apesar de que a versão deluxe capa preta no tidal tá meio assustadora

So good!

It was great!

Obra maestra incuestionable

Discazo de grupo espectacular del rock de comienzos de los 70 con su estilo inconfundible, con toques sureños. Canciones que han aguantado el paso del tiempo y que se han convertido en muy míticas

Classic!

Espectacular, menudo grupazo 💪

a Classic one

I think I liked this one a little better than the last one but I like them both.

Ni modo que no 5

Solid album by a band at its peak!

A blend of folk and rock. Still think Physical Graffiti is their best album

That was fuckin awesome. Loved it.

The greatest band at their peak!

essential listening.

One of the best.

You can’t go wrong with Led Zeppelin. LZ score: 3

fantastic flow and rythm, one of my favorites by Led Zeppelin

Classic zeppelin

It's the music that the people that used to beat me up in high school listened to.

I went through a big Led Zeppelin phase in 9th grade when I collected all their albums on CDs. I remember finding this one used at a CD shop in Colorado. While it has Since I’ve Been Loving You which is one of my all time favorite Zeppelin songs, it also has the weakest second half of any album — Hats Off to Roy Harper being one of their weakest tracks. This listen through pretty well confirmed my previous take, though I forgot what a great track Celebration Day is — that might be my second favorite. The solo in Tangerine is among the best Jimmy Page has put down on an album.

Led Zeppelin is another band that I’ve never heard a record from up until this point. I’ve heard Immigrant Song many times before, so much so that I sort of have to get it out the “overplayed” area in my head. It is a driving, high-energy track that opens the record on a great note. I was convinced I was going to completely love this album four or five tracks in. The production is outstanding, the intensity and cinematics had me in awe, and Plant’s performances added everything I could want and more. Unfortunately, the last few tracks of the record were a step down in every way and this inconsistency knocked it down a point. No more than that, though, because the high highs were so impressive. 1 listen Favorite Tracks: Since I’ve Been Loving You, Friends, Immigrant Song, Tangerine, Out on the Tiles

Is it Zeppelins best album? No. Does is still slap? Yes. More mellow and subdued than other albums in their catalog, but still a great listen. A very solid 4*s, only because I know there is better albums still to come.

What an opener, and the rest provides a unique Zep experience.

Led Zeppelin III — Led Zeppelin ⭐ Rating: 4/5 🏷 Status: --- 🎨 Vibe: acoustic, rootsy, eclectic 💭 Why: - no real fillers - good tracks throughout - interesting switch from more heavy rock/metal on side A to more folky/bluesy rock on the B side 🎵 Must-Keep Tracks: 1. Immigrant Song 2. Since I've Been Loving You 3. Gallows Pole 4. Tangerine 🔄 Coherence/Flow: 4/5 - although good when considering A and b sides seperatly kinda jarring jump inbetween 🕰 Historical Context: - switchup album from Led Zeppelin II which is said to majorly have formed Heavy Metal (not listened to yet) to more acoustic and not so heavy sounds. Other Thoughts:

Ei ihan parasta Zeppeliiniä, mutta onhan tässä hyvää menoa ja pari legendaarista kipaletta.

Oikein hyvää vanhan liiton rokkia. Tätä tuli joskus paljonkin kuunneltua.

another great zeppelin album!

A stronger album than the last LZ and it has a strong start. For all that’s good, I’m still convinced the album and band doesn’t quite live up to the hype.

Led Zeppelin for me used to be the pinnacle of rock; songs about sleeping with women, doing drugs , and playing shows. The almost trashiness of listening to the full version of Stairway to Heaven at my grandads funeral made his son, my dad, and me burst into solemn giggles. Led Zeppelin meant a lot to me for something I didn’t really know, and I think listening to this album has giving me the greatest gift of deeper appreciation. I never understood when people talked about Led Zeppelin in connection to the Hobbit but I think I understand more now. Talking about the songs, you can see a fall and rise in the electricity of the music. The more acoustic brought out unfamiliar instruments such as the fiddle in the folky Gallows Pole, which was one of the more familiar songs to me. Gallows Pole directly pulls from the folk song Hangman , which I have fond memories of Tia Blake playing. Something that sorta caught me off guard was the beauty in Robert Plant’s singing. Calmingly mystical is the best way I could describe it. There’s a lot of beauty in this album and I’m so happy that I found this website. Favs ( mostly second side ) Since I’ve been loving you Gallows Pole Tangerine That’s the way Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp

One of my personal favorites from Led Zeppelin. Provides more variety compared to their earlier albums. Still to this day can’t stand Hats off to Roy Harper though… Rating: 8/10 Favorite Song: Since I’ve been loving you

Not a Zepp fan generally, but it’s a good album! Favourite track: Immigrant Song

Is there a more distinctive opening 3 seconds to any album?

Classic

Klassisches Rockalbum, Gitarrenriffs, bluesig.

pretty good actually

Of all the dad rock albums on this list so far-- I've had a better time here than most. Some songs (thinking specifically about Ramones's Blitzkrieg Bop) get ruined by their inclusion in modern nostalgia bait and advertisements, but I still felt something from Immigrant Song here so that's something. I really haven't listened to a lot of Zeppelin and was surprised by the breadth of sound here. Not all my jam, but I'm glad I listened, some good bangers, some meh.

Great tracks on side B. Otherwise, great performances but not great songwriting.

i really liked it, felt like the good old days

Has some of my favorite zeppelin songs on this album (Friends, Gallows Pole, bron-y-aur stomp) and some of my favorite acoustic guitar work. Not my favorite from Zeppelin in total, but still so good. Intro for Bron-Y-Aur is so dang cool. 12 string on Tangerine is also so epic and peaceful feeling. Thats The Way 12 string is also so nice. Hats Off to Roy Harper is kind of spooky but I really like the way they mixed it.

I actually liked this one a lot! Very classic, idk if it’s worth a 5, but I’m in between a 4 and a 5

vivid memories of bert and i screaming the ah ah ahhhh ah part at the beginning of the immigrant song as loud as we could until our mom told us to stop

This is awfully close to a 5 but it’s still a very very good album

one of the GOAT 💥immigrant song 💥gallows pole 💥tangerine

Let’s gooooo

The Led Zep album I return to most. I'm always hearing new things in it.

This album is where I started to realize I like Led Zeppelin more slowed down and folky. Immigrant Song is an iconic opener, but I really enjoy some of the softer tracks on this album, like That’s the Way.

you can tell zeppelin's influence on jeff buckley in this record. really enjoyed this one.

Epic record, one of their best.

8/10… classic rock / *1970

Very strong start, but found my enthusiasm waning by the end

It's not totally acoustic record but shows a different sound in the band.

Classic Zeppelin album. What stands out to me now are the beautiful twangy guitars and the satisfyingly tape-saturated production.

Amazing how their worst albums from the first 6 aounds

Ja gewoon super goed. Led Zeppelins probleem is gewoon dat ze nog veel sterkere platen hebben. Deze moddert wel een beetje in het middendeel, maar de highlights zijn dan ook wel torenhoog.

While this is my least favourite out of the four self-titled albums, this album still rocks! There is really something here for everyone. The pure energy of Immigration Day and Celebration Day, the gorgeousness of Friends, Tangerine and That's the Way, the acoustic jam that is Gallows' Pole, the underrated Out on the Tiles and the sublime Since I've Been Loving You. That last song may be one of the finest love songs ever made. Everything about it so well done. The build across the song is so well-paced. The climax is amazing with that scream from Plant. The guitar solo from Page and the rhythm section of Jones and Bonham keeping it all together. Plant gives one of his all-time best vocal performances. The only thing that keeps it from a five-star album is the inclusion of Hats Off to (Roy) Harper. IMO, this did not need to be on the album and certainly not as the closer. Nevertheless, this is still an album that some bands would kill to have. For many bands, this would be their best but for Led Zeppelin, it's just Tuesday. Highlights: Immigration Song Friends Celebration Day Since I've Been Loving You Out on the Tiles Gallows' Pole Tangerine That's the Way

Fire. Favorite tracks: Friends, Since I've Been Loving You

again rock! i like it but only if it’s occasionally administered into my system. Leave me alone please. It was a good album, iconic songs on here as well, I’m just not the best person for this🥹

Not a zepp fan but may be on the way. This has to be among the best guitar sounds in the history of rock music and one of the best openings of an album of all time Still music for boomers but its good music for boomers.

The most distinctive LZ album. Less focused on ripping off old blues singers.

Hell yeah

A classic. Immigrant Song is a timeless classic. This album seems to be the band’s slow dhift from old blues to their own rock style. A great listen.

Glad I listened! Some quality Led Zeppelin here, and some great tracks I'd never heard. 7/10

Probably my favorite album of theirs? I love the heavy blues undertones on this album.

What a way to open the 70s. Immigrant Song starts off with tales of Vikings and longing for Valhalla - it's all ridiculous and overblown, but it sounds so damn good you give it a pass. Other highlights include 'Celebration Day', ' Since I've Been Loving You' (LZ does the heartsick blues), 'Gallows Pole' and 'Bron-Y-Aur Stomp'. A bit more acoustic in places, which is sometimes a welcome relief from the screaming guitars and screaming Robert Plant. Overall, a great time, shame about the last track 'Hats Off to (Roy) Harper' which I didn't feel was up to the rest of the album.

Wow, I really underrated this one before. I used to think this was boring, but honestly has some of the band's best guitar work ever. It's also their folkiest album by far. I've always liked their folk rock stuff, so that's not a bad thing either. There is a lot of fire on here. Immigrant Song is so heavy it's almost a metal song, Friends has some stunning arrangements and Tangerine is one of their most beautiful songs. In general, I would describe this album as very beautiful. The production is so crystal clear, especially on Since I've Been Loving you. The only two songs that I would consider duds are Gallows Pole who's almost country instrumentation is kind of a mismatch and the closer, which doesn't sound very good but I kinda respect how lo-fi and out there it is. Great album tho, grew on me a lot when I relistened today.

Solid, better than II. Nothing too special but gets a 4 because of immigrant song and tangerine. Ignore the last track

Verjetno my all time favourite band, k sm ga ogromno preposlušala v lajfu. Short, but sweet oz. hard. (Valjda je seznam na netu, tretji najkrajši je.) "Since I've Been Loving You" je tak filing kokr točn to kar zj počnem zraven, ko ga poslušam - sedim na prevročem balkonu, kadim travo in jem jagode.l z vrta. Bosa. Mogoč bi sam moral bit že večer. To je a night song. Trojka nima mojih najljubših komadov gor, ampak ma še zmer kr nekaj meni zelo ljubih ("Immigrant Song", "Since I've Been Loving You", "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" ).

Great album, not one of their better ones out of the LZ tetralogy. But still a good album but a legendary band.

Awesome album! "Since I've Been Loving You" is an excellent song. "That's The Way" is my 2nd favorite

As someone said Immigrant Song was such a good start and then the rest are quite same and do not match the energy. 3.8/5 so 4 stars

Schon geil!

Really enjoyed it, though I think I liked II and IV better. Occasional songs that felt more standard-classic-rock. Still really enjoyed the folk elements, unusual chords, guitar work.

Pretty great

Really good! May become a 5/5 after a relisten

Solid album, but not their best. 4 Stars.

1970 - what a fantastic year. This is a great album befitting of the year of its (and my) birth. A post-psychedelic sashay through folk-rock themes.

The sound of a band in transition. Having established themselves as heavy cosmic blues monsters on their first two albums, on their third they are looking for new things to try. It starts with the thundering power of the Immigrant Song - one of the best loved riffs in all rock music - but that's done and out of the way in under three minutes, like they're saying "Well, that's that done, so let's do something new." So straight on to Friends - all tricky time changes, middle Eastern and Indian chords, synthesisers, Bonham just on congas and, of all things on a Zeppelin album, a String Arrangement. Unfortunately, over the top you have Plant coming out with what could best be described as Hallmark Saccharine. ( "The greatest thing you ever can do now / Is trade a smile with someone who's blue now" is a fair example) interesting but not entirely successful. Then into Celebration Day, where Jimmy Page shows off his slide guitar skills. Since I've Been Loving You is sort of Dazed and Confused 2 only bluesier and with keyboards. Out on the Tiles is fine enough and features some great playing, even if it does sound suspiciously like Jeff Beck's recording of Shapes of Things from Truth. With Gallows Pole we seem to head in Fairport Convention territory, with English Folk Rock. With Tangerine with back with The Yard birds, but with bonus steel guitar to give it a Country feel. That's the Way is that remarkable thing: a beautiful Zeppelin song. More folk acoustic guitar and the lyrics are ambiguous. Two boys living next door to each other, one of whose parents don't like him seeing the other. Because he's not their type? A gay subtext? Up to you I guess, but it is an album highlight. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp is a lot of fun, full of virtuosic folk guitar and all sorts of off beat stomping. We're a long way from The Hammer of the Gods. But very close to Bert Jansch Finally, Hats off to (Roy) Harper with more acoustic guitar and a vocal effect that probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Go and listen to Bukka White if you want to heat how to Shake 'em Down properly. So then, a band experimenting with what made them huge and trying new things. People who were looking for the next Whole Lotta Love probably didn't find it here and it's not entirely successful, but when they swing and hit its pretty awesome

It's a fun album that loses its momentum towards the end. My first Zeppelin album, LZ3 is surely one to remember, but also one to keep me wanting more from the band.

Classic rock, nostalgic for sure!

An extra star just for Immigrant Song.

Consistently strong listen. The first four Zepp albums are just all unequivocal classics. I personally find the first two thirds of the album stronger than the back third, but still it's great. Only real skips for me are "Gallows Pole" and "Hats off...", but otherwise fantastic album.

awesome vocals

Overall: 3.925 (rounded to 4) Consistency: 3.7 Originality: 4 Virtuosity: 4 Enjoyment: 4 1. Immigrant Song - 5 2. Friends - 4 3. Celebration Day - 4 4. Since I've Been Loving You -5 5. Out on the Tiles - 2 6. Gallows Pole - 5 7. Tangerine - 3 8. That's the Way - 3 9. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp - 4 10. Hats Off to Harper - 3

It's Led Zeppelin but this is far from my favorite album of theirs. I appreciate the artistic nature of it but it just doesn't resonate with me quite to the same level of their other albums.

Classic album that shows the band’s influences in early blues very heavily. Starts with immigrant Song, which is the best song on the album. Probably the weakest of their first four albums but still great.

Pretty darn good.

Is this Led Zeppelin's twangiest album? Not many "hits" on this album but it's still a pretty interesting album. Mostly showcasing Jimmy Page's guitar work. Lots of acoustic and slidey twangy stuff that is pretty interesting. I wouldn't say this is my favorite Led Zepplin album but it's got some pretty interesting song writing.

This was no run of greatest hits like IV, and it was certainly more mellow, but after a second listen, I have a lot of appreciation for this collection of songs. The band is just very talented and that talent shines both in their mellow moments and in the rockin’ ones. I really enjoyed the emotions they conjure up.

Solid album. There’s a good mix of mellow and wack, with something to like about every song. Favorite tracks- Since I’ve Been Loving You and Tangerine

i only need song 1 but the rest is quite cool too

One of these got onto my intimate mix on spotify

- primer track temazo historico - transicion top entre segundo y tercer track - rock 🤘 top y chill

Feels a bit dated but is still seminal. I find it more folk-sy now. Even somewhat medieval.

Plant’s voice is SO FUCKING GOOD. Raspy, strong, dash of whine. I don't think this is the BEST of Led Zeppelin, but I got time for it. Definitely some bangers in the mix. Much like The Beetles after their trip to India and the subsequent Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club album, the influence of Zep's worldly travels is pretty evident throughout the album and is a mostly enjoyable exploration into different sounds. Since I’ve Been Loving You – blusey! Immigrant Song – classic Tangerine – jam band

Hmm. Immigrant Song: I liked when I was 16, does not excite me now. Some other songs are okay but not ones I'm keen to hear again. Since I've Been Loving You, on the other hand, was actually rather good, happy to put that into a blues rock playlist. The background on what they were trying for with this album reads okay, my anti-Zep prejudice has stayed quiet, but still not an album I'll play again, I'll call it Good, 7/10.

had to ask myself what this would be like for me if cameron winter sang all the songs and the answer is pretty fucking awesome

Het begint ongelofelijk goed, maar daarna zwakt het iets af. Toch een heel sterk album.

What an opener! I enjoyed the album.

i liked this! of course i knew a few songs already so not entirely new but still a good album nonetheless.

Zeppelin does not disappoint, as usual.

Enjoyed it and the songs are not very well known like other Zep albums except for Immigrant Song. Giving this a solid 4.

Classic, great, 4,5

Led Zeppelin III was quite a change from the first 2 albums which were heavy on updating Chicago Blues to be rock n' roll. More acoustic guitar work, although the first song from the album that I heard was "Immigrant Song" was a continuation of the sound from Led I and II leaning on a Viking theme. "Since I've been loving you" could have easily been on Led Zeppelin II. My favorite of the new quieter sound is "That's the way." But Led Zeppelin needed to make this album in order to progress their sound.

This is the first Zeppelin album I've listened to in full. It's pretty great even if I do find it to be a little inconsistent. Some unbelievable highs here like Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You and Tangerine as well as some other great tracks across the track list. The more acoustic stuff towards the end was a bit hit or miss but I don't think any of those songs were necessarily bad apart from the last one, they just weren't as much to my tastes. Still, the majority of the songs here are great and I would definitely consider returning to this album even if not every song worked for me. Favs: Since I've Been Loving You, Tangerine, Immigrant Song, Celebration Day Least Fav: Hats Off To (Roy) Harper

Aaaaaaaaaaah

This album seems to have all my least favourite Led Zeppelin songs. Friends, Celebration Day, Gallows Pole and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp all just rub me the wrong way. Despite that, this band is so good that this still might be a five star album for me.

Enjoyed it. Guitars were technical and interesting. Pleasantly surprised when a song with a Welsh name popped up, "Bron-yr-aur"!

I mean, whatever I said about them last time around applies. More mostly very pretty ballads.

banger lowkey, geht schon echt gut

Immigrant Song is one of my favorites by Led Zeppelin. Decent record.

I love the more acoustic-based sound.

Tangerine is one of my favorite songs of all time and is my favorite LZ song.

Very good but not 4

Great Album, I love it, It's so interesting and deep, the groovy rock n roll makes me want to swing and cure my depression (joking ofc)

Mucho talento. Oyendo los álbumes completos entiendo por qué son clásicos

Ta cool prefiero el Led Zeppelin I

Only reason this isn't getting a 5 is because I'm reserving it for Physical Graffiti.

8/10 sólido, pero podes morirte sin escuchar sin problema. Canción destacada: That's the way

This one takes you for a ride from beginning to end, that opener is legendary.

Not my favourite Led Zeppelin album but pretty good anyway

Rock ‘n’ folk turned up to 11.

Classic immigrant song, other than that 1 or 2 songs like tangerine, nothing out of this world.

Such a good album, so many good hits, I love the psychedelic and weird focus on it too. It’s so close to a five, it’s a very high four.

Great listen. Given how strong the A-side stands (Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You) which I am more familiar with, I was pleasantly surprised with the more folky/acoustic back end of the album. Favorites: Since I've Been Loving You, Tangerine

Doesn’t feel much like an album. Riffing on old blues songs is cool and all but kinda feel aimless and not albumy. Still an easy 4.

Siempre será un discazo!

Good album

Good album. Not quite as good as led zeppelin 1. Solid 8.5/10 still.

"Immigrant Song" is the best part of this album, well, and to me the best thing Led Zeppelin wrote. But there are a lot of other interesting songs on here, especially the ones that veer to the acoustic like "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp." Some of this is a bit too much Robert Plant for me, but in general it's a reasonable album. "Immigrant Song" bumps it up to 4 stars.

Much more acoustic guitar driven than either of their first two efforts, but comes off just as well. Favorite track: Immigrant Song

Good album but not their strongest. 3.5/5. Raising to 4.

Amazing production and playing through this. I can see why many give this 5 stars but for me it just wasn’t there. I’d give it 4.5 and maybe with more listens a 5.

This album marked the shift in Zep's sound towards more acoustic, especially on the second half of the album. Those songs are like "Zeppelin Unplugged" and "Tangerine," "That's the Way," and Bron Y Aur Stomp" is one of the best sequences in their catalog. And the monster riffage of "Immigrant Song" is one of their very best. I always gravitated to their other albums but, listening now, this one has a lot of appeal and hinted at what was to come.

A lot more deep cuts here than on other Zep albums but starts off with a bang with Immigrant Song. Musicianship is off the charts. Jimmy Page displays his mastery of both acoustic and electric, but I especially love listening to John Bonham's percussion, some brilliant fills. Not every song is great, some boring white man's blues like on the last track, but it's still a super fun listen for the instrumentals alone

Poco que decir, este lo tengo muy mascado ya. Está chulo, Since I've been loving you hace mucho carrito, vaya temón estratosférico. Robert Plant me parece un tipo capaz de lo mejor y lo peor con su voz.

Great. Not their best but a fantastic album.

U can hear where Jeff buckley got the inspiration and influence from oh my godddddddd!!!@@ help me please the yells and the riffs and the instruments and the vibrato in singing and the word repetition and the way he pronounces some lines AHH!!! And the their voices sound sort of similar,,, the drummer omg i love and the style of writing WAWWW the fucking guitar playing my ears are being blessed i love it. So basically it's a nice album and it will probably grow on me with time cause im a bit not used to such music but they're rad :p

Classic rock with 'immigrant song' and 'since I've been loving you'. Mixed with mystical folk Zep. Loads of great stuff on here. Enjoyed it more than 2 and 4 which surprised me.

Led Zep II...5. Led Zep IV ..5, led Zep Phys. Graph....5. Love Zeppelin. I like Zep III. 3.6667. Call it a somewhat generous 4.

I liked this more than other Zeppelin material I’ve heard. It has a more stripped back and acoustic sound, which makes it a bit of a full-on listen than other albums. Since I’ve Been Loving You probably the highlight in that style, and Immigrant Song of course a classic in a more conventional Zeppelin style, I’m not sure I like Plant’s vocal style enough to give it more than 4, but a good listen.

I really enjoyed the wider range of instrumentation on this record, with the use of strings and the folkier influences. While more obviously hard rock opener ‘Immmigrant Song’ is one of the best tracks, the more acoustic songs are among the strongest tracks here. I’m particularly fond of ‘Tangerine.’

one of those bands i've been aware of basically all my life but never properly heard anything from - many bangers !

Tangeriiiine tangeriiiiiiine

pretty alright

Not my favorite Zep album but it gets a 4 because it's Zep. The Immigrant Song is a great hockey song.

Really good, my only complaint is it’s impossible to match the energy of immigrant song so it feels like it hits a immediate high that it doesn’t reach again

Love the Zep. This is nowhere near their best album but it’s still 4 stars.

Man, it has been forever since I got a Led Zeppelin album. About 20 months in fact! That's crazy. But you know what? I'm not too upset about that. I do like Led Zeppelin, obviously, but not I'm not as head-over-heels in love with them as many others are. Of course, I do still enjoy much of their stuff and Led Zeppelin III here has some of that stuff on it. This is probably the weakest album I've heard of theirs for the project so far, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. Led Zep III is on the more experimental side of the band's albums and I appreciate that. Not every experiment works, but most of them do! The music of the album is obviously great. That's probably the best compliment I can give Led Zeppelin is that the balance between the talent of every band member is remarkable. Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham are all legends of their instruments, and Robert Plant's voice is rather exciting. But the talent doesn't shine if the songs are bad. Fortunately, this thing's got some good songs on it. "Immigrant Song" is by far the most iconic song on this album and for good reason. It's rather short, but it's just so cool. I don't really consider Led Zeppelin a metal band, but "Immigrant Song" is absolutely a metal song. It's great. Going from the album's shortest song to its longest, we have "Since I've Been Loving You," which is pretty great too. It's a bit slower, but I really love the atmosphere of the song. This album actually has some pretty good organ work from John Paul Jones and this song shows that off very well. And that solo from Jimmy Page? Awesome. "Tangerine" is super cool. I love the acoustic guitar tone and the chord progression on this one. It's pretty neat. Not every song is 100% a winner. In fact, the album ends on what is easily its weakest song "Hats off To (Roy) Harper." This is one of the few experiments on the album that doesn't do it for me. I just wish the album ended on a bit of a stronger note. The album's writing has some neat pieces of inspiration. The production is pretty great. It's Led Zeppelin. I shouldn't have to tell you that this is good. 4/5.

Already rating 4-5 stars

My Led Zeppelin discovery continues apace. I like the contrast between the rocky first half of this album, which reinforces my preconceptions, and the folky, acoustic second half.

The one where the band settles the argument over whether they're just blues-rock braggadocios: they stretch out into folk and pop territory and every song lands beautifully. That said, I miss the consistently balls-out attitude of the first two albums. A slightly peevish 4*

I love this Led Zeppelin albums. Starts off strong AF with Immigrant Song, includes Stairway to Heaven - shows their range. The last song is a little weird and the others pale in comparison to these two but are still solid.

Echt perfect getimed na de typische LZ slow blues burner 'Since I've Been Loving You'. En dan zonder enig probleem een liefelijke folk compositie als 'Tangerine' en 'That's the Way' implementeren, zonder dat het uit de toon valt. Dus weer is de conclusie; Led Zeppelin is zoveel meer dan 'It's been a long time since I rock and rolled!!'. Gewoon weer een rijk en steengoed album, eigenlijk. 8,5/10 Highlights: Immigrant Song Out on the Tiles Tangerine

I really love this album; top 3 or 4 zeppelin albums for me. Right on the line between 4.5 and 5 but I'm going 4.5.

Fantastic album but feels a little less cohesive than some of their best stuff. Immigrant Song is such a fantastic opener but I feel it’s a verse short. Tangerine is my favorite tune.

An entire extra star for Immigrant Song alone. The rest is... neat?

Creative, innovative, and displayed a wide variety of styles (almost to the point of losing coherence). Best stuff for me was Gallows, Loving You, and Roy Harper.

Led Zeppelin has like 3 or 4 better albums than this ngl, still a good listen

Cool album lots of interesting concepts. It’s hard to top immigrant song at the start of the album. However, even though the first song was the best there weren’t any songs I disliked on the album.

Thus was another surprise. I never thought I would enjoy so much Led Zeppelin, but apparently I do. Started really well with Immigrant Song and the rest was just the same amazing vibe, a little bit folk with a mysterious atmosphere. I will give it a 4 as I think itvloses a little bitbof steam in the end, but surely, this entered my list of "must listen again many times" 4/5

Chill zeppelins are the best zeppelins

absolutely gorgeous, the first quarter (not counting the immigrants song) was wacky 4.5

tremendo clásicoooo. Since i´ve been loving you de mis canciones favoritas

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bra Zepelinalbum men tycker de har bättre. Finns några mellanspår som inte är dåliga men som inte heller lyfter hela vägen. Tillräcligt bra för en solid 4a. Bäst är Immigration song, Celebration day, Since I've been loving you, Out on the tiles, Tangerine, Bron-Y-Aur

Yeah brother

1 - Immigrant Song (the iconic opener with its Norse-themed imagery and sound. Not too much to say about this one considering its classic status and the tone it sets for the album - a deceptively heavy opener) 4.5/5 2 - Friends (I was really not expecting something so off-kilter and psychedelic to follow the opener. I really with Zeppelin took more stabs at psychedelia because this one is delightfully uneasy) 4.5/5 3 - Celebration Day (most of the instruments sound slightly out of sync, with the effect being enhanced once Plant comes in. For such an iconic song title, the song feels sort of thrown together. Feels like a mish-mash of the 70s rock tropes to come) 3.5/5 4 - Since I've Been Loving You (proof of a slow blues song never losing its luster. Zeppelin really puts their own spin on this extended ballad, with the drums sounding especially thunderous despite not taking up much attention on this song. One of Plant's best performances in my estimation) 4/5 5 - Out on the Tiles (this one vaguely recalls Good Times, Bad Times from their debut album. The chorus is really what sets this one apart. A fine song to close out the first half) 4/5 6 - Gallows Pole (the acoustic folky side of things finally show themselves with Zeppelin's rendition of a classic English folk tune. Rhythm picks up halfway through and makes it into a classic Zeppelin romp) 4/5 7 - Tangerine (a fully acoustic tune with the slightest of psychedelic edges, especially after the rest of the band comes in. An odd one to sort despite how surprisingly varied Zeppelin's catalogue is) 3.5/5 8 - That's the Way (driven largely by the acoustic guitar, violins and even the occasional flute, this song conveys this incredibly serene and peaceful atmosphere. Plant's restrained performance is one of the earliest indicators of the versatility that hid beneath the air raid siren performances of previous albums) 4.5/5 9 - Bron-Y-Aur Stomp (I was expecting a more energetic feel from the song with "Stomp" in its name, especially after the peaceful acoustic vibes of the previous songs. This one feels like a simpler hippie folk tune that just meanders for a little while before the band decides to play something else) 3.5/5 10 - Hats off to (Roy) Harper (a cover of a tune originally by the little-known and criminally underrated Bukka White. Zeppelin once again make this song their own as the band deliberately goes for a wiry, degraded sound for their instruments. The guitar especially sounds like it's barely held together, and Plant sounds like he's singing into a century-old grampohone. The whole song has an excellent mood, like it's coming off of a wax cylinder. A true and honest tribute to the blues that so heavily influenced Led Zeppelin) 4.5/5 OVERALL - 8.1/10

I love immigrant song, all time banger

My POP was a huge Zep fan, saw them live in the States and all that. As a young kid, I remember being fascinated by this album cover — turning the wheel to change the pictures through the cut-outs — and the blistering Immigrant Song, which always slaps when 100 watts are pushing those sound waves off the cones and coming at ya. When I got older I gravitated to the almost punk Communication Breakdown on their debut and spent more of my time with I & II when I wanted to put on records that we both could enjoy. But it's through soaking in their first two albums that Led Zeppelin III is meaningful. It's more expansive and is a document of a band both ascendant and searching. Maybe they are not quite at the peak of the mountain here, but the missteps are small and still in service of making the climb. Legit unclear if we'll arrive at 4 or 5 stars, though, since it's not part of my personal great works canon but I'd begrudge no one for either rating.

When the Generator assigned me Led Zeppelin's debut album earlier this month, I certainly didn't expect to get LZII five days later and LZIII ten days after that... but hey, I'm not complaining! I was originally a bit annoyed that Physical Graffiti had to be my first Led Zeppelin experience (in spite of how much I enjoyed that album), so getting to hear their original four LPs in release order has certainly been a surprising treat. Led Zeppelin III was an interesting one. It starts out feeling absolutely massive in scale with the iconic "Immigrant Song" and slowly peels back its layers before concluding with the acoustic/vocal number "Hats Off to (Roy) Harper." On one hand, I can appreciate how the album seamlessly transforms from one sound to another. On the other hand, it'd be dishonest if I failed to point out that it changed from something I really liked to something I kind of didn't. To be completely fair to LZIII, I felt like I was going to rate it five stars for the majority of first run through it – classic rock doesn't get much better than Side A of this album. It wasn't until the LPs final few minutes that the thoughts of "maybe this one actually does have a couple of skips" started creeping in. All that said, I enjoyed LZIII about as much as I enjoyed LZII – this one has higher highs (and lower lows), but I love how consistent the previous album came across. I reckon Physical Graffiti is still my favorite from the band overall. Bring on Led Zeppelin IV! Highlights: Immigrant Song, Friends, Celebration Day, Since I've Been Loving You, Out on the Tiles, Gallows Pole, That's the Way

Very solid album. Rock done right. Since I've Been Loving You and Gallows Pole are the two best songs

great album - don't have much to say about it

Absolutely rips. Never thought I would be a zeppelin enjoyer but this bangs

Goated 4.9

i wanted to like all of it but the first few songs are quite annoying, some of the later ones are better

The whole album is short and sweet, with variety and depth. Unlike some of their other albums.

What a great album! So much blues influence on this one.

Bought this on vinyl recently and it is an absolute treat. I used to not be super fond of Led Zep III, but nowadays I find this album to be fun, beautiful, and rad. Not perfect, but damn near close!

(5/7) when they rock they rock a little hard for me but I like when they mellow out

Aaaaahhhhhhhhaaaaaahhhhhhhh aaaahhhh.

Good, but a couple steps down from their others. I would normally give it a 3 but it gets a 4 since it came the day after that Mariah Carey bullshit.

Bluesy. Would listen to this one again.

Best Song: Gallows Pole. The whole song rocks, but the banjo really elevates this into something transcendent. Worst Song: Hats off To (Roy) Harper. Whatever vocal warble effect they're putting on Robert Plant's voice is wholly unnecessary. Overall: What struck me most here is how light and fun the majority of tracks here were. Obviously anything by Zeppelin is influenced by the weight of history, especially when so many of their most lauded tracks trend towards the heavy or epic side of their discography. That makes it easy to forget that a lot of their music was fun, bluesy stuff like this.

might be actually the hardest intro ever recorded

Haven’t listened to this one since 7th grade. As I’ve gotten older and learned to appreciate the blues, I prefer this over IV which sounds like blasphemy but oh well

good album solid 8/10 best song: Since I've Been Loving You

really great loud hard rock album with prominent folk sounds, thoroughly enjoyed.

Yes, yes, yes. why haven't I listened to this before?

Not the album I was expecting, but I enjoyed it. Not the best Zeppelin, but still great.

Exceptional.

Did we need all these Led Zeppelin albums on the list? Probably not. I don't mind.

The Good: Zep! The Bad: Album title that is just too close to bad… The Ugly: Who wants to be known as “the Third”? I really wanted to love this album… because I’ve loved all the previous LZ albums that have been presented to me on this list. And this album should be loved… Just not by me. I don’t know… I didn’t get that WOW feeling this time around. It’s too much… or too little… I should give the album 3 1/2* and push it upwards, but I am almost inclined to shove if to 2*… which would be unfair… shall I give it another listen? Damnit… 4*

Guapísimo, pero un 4

Solid vibes

Pas mal pas mal je vais réécouter avec plus d'assiduité et concentration je pense hihi 3.90

I have not listened to a full Led Zeppelin album for years. Not since first getting into the rock genre, at around 14 (an age which I'm sure marked the same thing for many others). Since then I have learned about their some of their controversies, including the stealing of songs that made them famous. But hey, I also remember a lot of their material being good. Let's test out that whole "separate the art from the artist" thing, and also see how imparcial I can be to the music I listened to as a teenager. I won't rememeber some of these as well as others. Immigrant Song is a banger, a classic, nothing else to add. Friends is fun, intriguing even. Don't know how much I would have enjoyed it at first listen, but right now I like it. I do not enjoy Celebration Day that much. While not bad, it overstays its welcome. Since I've Been Loving You is an unc classic. You can see so many men playing the air guitar to it. But it's also an unc gem. Can't talk too much shit about a song when it's this good. Robert Plant's at his best here. Out on the Tiles feels kind of disjointed (this word has become my favourite in writing all these reviews). I like parts of it (expecially the "uh-yeah"), but the full product does not work. I have no memory of ever hearing Gallows Pole, but I actually really like it! Love the way it builds up, and the ending was great. I used to love tangerine, the fruit, before I found out I was slightly allergic to them. And I used to listen to tangerine, the song, while I ate tangerine, the fruit, and feel happy about life. So this song does remind me of that. It is good outside of my sentimental association with it (it's incredibly catchy), but it will always take me back to those times. Sweet! A ballad about childhood friends is not the direction I thought this album would take, but I'm not complaining. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp, despite the dumb name, is a lot of fun, mostly due to the percussion. Weird closer. Always thought so. I really liked this! I remember feeling like III was the least good of the Led Zeppelin self-titled's, and if that is the case then that just speaks to the quality of their early work (or the work of those people they ripped of).

Great album, however not Led Zeppelin’s finest in my opinion. Lots of songs that are good not great.

Love a lot of this album. Very different for Zeppelin, more acoustic and folk influence. Immigrant Song IS rock 'n' roll to me. Also loved Since I've Been Loving You and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp.

4.5 My least favourite of their first 6 albums but still great

Me gustó.

Heavy metal classic

Immigrant Song, baby!

Tommone yks äkäne klassikko. Suurin osa biiseistä kuulosti siltä et olisin hirvees acid tripis, eli hell yeah. Paras biisi oli yllätys yllätys: immigrant song. Arvosana: joku 3,75/5

Classic. 3.7

Ah ah AAAAAAAAH aH!

Favourite Led Zep album. Somehow Plant’s voice fits better on this one (always the thing I struggle with tbh). There is a more folky, bluesy, dirty gritty vibe to it. Variety of sound from track to track makes it an entertaining listen. 4

Pretty awesome album that I haven't really given a full listen to before. As much as I don't have a taste for some of this stuff anymore. Teenager me loved it. So some nostalgia blooms when listening.

I have to be honest this is good music

Led Zeppelin's third full-length (coincidentally, the third album of theirs I'm looking at for this challenge) pushes their folk influences further to the forefront than their first two. those other LPs certainly had their acoustic moments, but LZIII calls pretty stark attention to them by virtue of how its two sides are sequenced. it's side A for the electric tunes, side B for the acoustic. we've got the radio staple "Immigrant Song" kicking the whole thing off, a bit of a deceiving start considering all the different diversions the band makes. some songs point eerily to the near future. for instance, the introduction of "Tangerine" instantly brings "Stairway to Heaven" to mind, which would appear on their next record; similarly, "Out on the Tiles" sounds to me like a beta version of "The Ocean" from Houses of the Holy. overall, while there's plenty of choice cuts to pick from here, I think some of this band's other albums give their eclecticism a better showcase. although, definitely make sure to check out the epic seven-and-a-half-minute 6/8 blues rager "Since I've Been Loving You". decent 7/10.

I love when music from 1970 can still be so exciting to hear more than 50 years later. The opening of Immigrant Song is just too good. The rest of the album is quite good too!

I'm a little on the fence with this album. Its well worth the listen and having a spot on this list, but I still didn't enjoy it as much as other Zeppelin albums, especially Led Zeppelin IV. Immigrant Song is an incredible way to kick off this album though, shoutout to Jack Black and School of Rock for the introduction to that song and all kinds of classic rock.

This is my least favorite Led Zeppelin album and it's still a 4 star album. That's just how good and consistent Zeppelin is. "Immigration Song" is one of the most recognizable songs of all time just from the opening notes. To make a song that iconic and rock and roll and then follow it up with the bluesy "Since I've Been Loving You" is so impressive. Love Zep. They truly are in a league of their own.

Ahh, Zeppelin III. The one numbered Zeppelin album I don't own on vinyl. It's also the third Zeppelin album I've had generated after I and IV. Immediately upon pressing play, you get hit with the legendary "Immigrant Song", which dares the rest of the album to outdo it. The rest of the album is more experimental than Zeppelin's first two albums, often trading balls-out hard rock for quieter blues and acoustic numbers. It's easily the most mellowed-out of the numbered Zeppelin albums, and is as a whole a very different experience. That said, it's still Led Zeppelin, so expect wailing vocals and stomping, loud drums even in some of the quieter moments. It's widely considered the weakest of the numbered albums, and I find myself agreeing with that sentiment. Notably, Hats Off to Roy Harper is by far the worst song on all four albums. II and IV are better, and I is pretty close in quality to this one.

Immigrant Song carries this album hard, but I'd be remiss if I didn't recognize this as a banger of an album.

Easy listening, groove worthy, good guitar solos, I bobbed my head on and off.

I like this album but some of the songs just aren't for me

Second half and first song

Haven’t finished it yet

Favorite Track: Born-Y-Aur Stomp

one of their more tender albums. almost brought to tears. I enjoy that this album isn’t so high energy. so underrated. you certainly have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it and when that time comes, it smacks

I always think of this as the real bluesy one. Great songs. Really like the change in pace from Led Zep 2. This was a great listen.

Get the Led out! The regular segment on classic rock station Q95 played an hour of Zeppelin quite often. I think this is the fourth Zeppelin album that I've gotten on the generator. And I'm all for it. This isn't my favorite album of theirs, but damn is it good.
