Dang, I forgot how good this album is. Haven't listened to it in years and just played it on repeat for a while. Great stuff.
It had some good rhythms and beats, but it is certainly not my style of music. I think the track 'Bonita Applebum' maybe my least favourite song I've heard in a while. Especially the remix with some unfun groans in there at the end.
Whelp. Definitely not my cup of tea. There were some good beats and decent background music, but the subject matter is simply one I cannot relate to. Also, far, far too many extremely unpleasant noises to make for good listening. That is not what I want to hear. And too much D*$# for me, thanks.
I enjoyed it. I listen to these while working so they are mostly background music and I am not analyzing each song or getting super invested. That being said, this is much more my speed and was GREAT for just playing in the background. However I do like songs with a bit more weight and musical oomph. Found it a little bland. Very easy to tune out. There was nothing memorable about it at all.
I enjoyed this one. I was working so not listening super closely, but it had some catchy riffs and I found myself tuning in more than with other albums. This is one that I wouldn't mind hearing again. I wasn't really listening to the lyrics but I think I get the gist.
So she seems to go out of her way to make her voice as unpleasant as possible. I don't know why one would do that when your art form involves people listening to your voice. 'Free Money' was the only song that was kind of okay, though I didn't listen well to it since I was working. But it's what bumped this to a 2.
Hmm. I don't have a lot to say about this one. It was okay, I guess. There was nothing that stood out to me and nothing that really made me angry.
I actually didn't mind this nearly as much as I thought I would. Partially because I listen while I'm working, this had some nice rhythm and sound for just having on while working, without distracting lyrics that pulled my attention away from work. I wouldn't choose to listen to something like this, but it was fine as sound in the background. I think it would be worse if my sole attention was on it and I was actively listening, because it's not really my style.
Not bad. Kinda fun beats for background listening. I had a rough morning so really wasn't focused on the music, but that's fine. Nothing that stood out overly to me, but I do enjoy Paper Planes somewhat.
I don't know why but I love this album. It's great. Fun sounds, cool german accents saying the same words over and over again. So amazing! I think my favourite tracks are Europe Endless and The Hall of Mirrors.
This was terrible. Just a bunch of unpleasant noise being shouted at the mic or something. I don't know, I tuned out the majority of the album because it was not fun to listen to.
I enjoyed this album a lot. 'Fast Car' is fantastic and is the first song since starting this that made it onto my Liked Songs on Spotify. There were some other good ones on here, but I did find it dragged through the middle of the album so that's why it gets a 4. Great voice though!
A classic. So good! I forgot how much I liked the Beatles. Not much more to say, really. Gotta be a 5!
It's nothing special. Very much background music. Nothing that offended my ears, but not much to captivate me or draw me in, either. I did like 'Season of Hollow Soul', but that was about it.
Really not my style. Just not the music I enjoy and seems very narcissistic and annoying, but obviously a product of the times. Still, do not want.
Well, this was fun. Not. Sorry, really not my type of music. It feels like elevator music and I didn't even notice when the album was over because Spotify just moved on to another album. Just music for the background that I couldn't bring myself to pay attention to.
Ehh. It was okay. Had some okay music and some songs I didn't mind, others I found actively unpleasant. Again, really not the kind of music I'm generally into.
Well, it wasn't terrible. There were some fun guitar sounds. Some songs were bad (Real Man) and some were okay. Maybe it's because I left to take a class and came back, but it seemed like the last song in the album took a swift turn in a different direction sound-wise. Seemed out of place.
Great album, though it's not my favourite Pink Floyd album. The first half has a few weak bits, and I've never really enjoyed Time and Money, which seem to be very popular for some reason. That being said, the second half is amazing, and Brain Damage/Eclipse are two of my favourite PF songs. And the depth and layers of sound in Pink Floyd songs is amazing - this made me remember how amazing the Roger Waters concert was. Great stuff!
I'm writing this right after listening and I don't remember anything about this album. Maybe there was a song about a fatty? Idk. Not great, not terrible. 2.5 if I could.
I have never heard CCR before, and it turns out, they are bad.
I enjoyed this album, much more my style than some of the others. Got an Arcade Fire feel from some of the songs. Probably need to listen to it a little more closely, but overall I thought it was enjoyable.
Kinda cool to hear about a different musical style, though I'm so musically disinclined that I admit I didn't understand most of the theory part. The actual songs were fun and great background music for working.
What garbage nonsense is this? Just bad, bad.
It had some entertaining parts, and was not actively unpleasant to listen to. But also did not grab my attention - very easy to tune out while working, so I think I missed the majority of the album. 2.5/5.
I actually enjoyed this album, overall. And I was absolutely tickled pink to hear a song from Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2! It wasn't my favourite album, and I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it, but it was enjoyable.
I did not enjoy this. Don't know why there seems to be a music genre that is 'Make as much unpleasant noise as possible'. Because art, I suppose?
This was quite meh. None of the songs stood out, and I simply tuned it out as background music. She did have a lovely voice though.
Interesting. Have I heard Genesis before? Not that I can recall. Had some very cool sounds and parts I really enjoyed, but also got quite rambly. Some of the songs were just too long. Still, I enjoyed it. Probably would have liked it more if I were actually listening instead of working, but alas. Time is precious.
Had some good rhythms/sounds. Enjoyed it overall, though I wouldn't listen again. I love these artists that I've never heard of because I have NO idea what to expect when I hit play. Such fun!
I actually kinda liked it. I wouldn't go back and listen again, but it was kind of fun. I liked the song 'No Good'.
I've never really listened to any Michael Jackson before, and I'm not a big fan. Just not the style for me.
Well this was kinda weird. Not a big fan, the rhythms were weird and I found myself tuning them out more often than not.
I honestly just tuned this out so hard I don't even know what I listened to. Extremely unmemorable and unengaging.
Layla is a great song, though this is not my favourite version of it. All the rest of these songs were kinda dumb. But I guess that's love songs for ya. I'd say 2.5 only because of Layla, so I'll rate it a 2.
I felt like I wanted to like this, but just couldn't. Every time I heard something that sounded kinda cool, she ruined it.
I actually enjoyed this quite a lot. The type of soothing music I needed at the end of a long day.
I listened to this. I don't remember anything about it at all. It was very unmemorable and I basically tuned the whole thing out.
I had a solid Led Zeppelin phase in high school. They are still great. Not every song is a winner, but the ones that are are awesome.
This was kinda fun. I'd need to listen to it again I think but it had a cool sound. I enjoyed it.
There were some good guitar parts, and I did enjoy parts of 'Broken Arrow'. But mostly this album didn't do it for me and I tuned out a lot of it.
Interesting. I like the album artwork. And the songs were quite soothing to listen to - I wanted to like them a whole lot more, but it just missed the mark. Still, not bad.
Did not like. Just kinda noisy noise that wasn't fun or cohesive.
This was kinda fun! I liked a lot of it, it had some good rhythms and beats and was just nice to listen to.
This was bad. I did not enjoy any parts of it.
I liked this! There were some pretty good songs on here.
It had some good beats and some songs were pleasant to listen to. It also had some very annoying parts. Almost a 3, but that last song pissed me off enough to drop it to a 2. I'm sorry Kanye, I just don't care.
Extremely unmemorable; I did listen to it, but I could not tell you anything about it.
Not my favourite. I don't know why all these artists feel the need to put unpleasant sounds in the middle of their albums. Really does not help their ratings.
This was okay. Moondance was a pretty good song, the rest of the album was pretty forgettable.
Not Bowie's best. I do enjoy the song Heroes a lot, and some of the instrumentals were kinda fun.
Really not a style of music I enjoy. Had some okay parts, but far too repetitive and full of fluff.
It was nice background music, I didn't mind it.
Not bad, but mostly unmemorable. I liked Girls & Boys which I swear I've heard in a movie or show or something but I can't think of where.
Fun album to listen to while working, I like the rhythm of it.
I kinda liked it, though I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention. It was great background music to work to and more of my style of music. It looped around again and I didn't even notice because I was enjoying it.
Not a fan, just not the type of music I enjoy.
I know I listened to this but I have zero recollection of any of it - even what style it was. So I'll give it a generic 2.5/5
It was okay, had some fun guitar. But not really my type of music.
I enjoyed this. It had some cool ethereal sounds that were fun to listen to, though the lyrics were a little repetitive.
Dang, I forgot how good this album is. Haven't listened to it in years and just played it on repeat for a while. Great stuff.
Pretty good. I enjoyed most of it but wasn't enraptured. 3.5/5 but I'll bump to a 4 to make Tom happy.
Like most music in this genre, I enjoy the non screaming parts and dislike the rest. Unfortunately not enough of the non-screaming for me to like it.
This felt very very long and disjointed. I kept checking to see how much more I had to go before I was done. Not a fan.
It was okay, tuned out most of it. I enjoyed 'The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face', but the rest was pretty meh.
Fun! Never really listened to Green Day before, though of course I've heard a few of these.
Dang this is so good. There are a few songs I don't love in the middle, but the rest more than make up for it.
Not bad, enjoyed it as easy listening in the background while working. Then the talking part came and I had to focus on that, which was interesting but generally not what I listen to music for.
It was okay until the last song with the long monologue. Did not enjoy that at all.
There were parts of this I liked, but it just seemed so all over the place and meandering. I don't think this album knows what it wanted to be. 2.5 rounded down because it made me grumpy every time it took a left turn.
Not a big fan. Mostly it just faded into the background and couldn't keep my attention.
I liked this one! Reminded me a bit of the Flaming Lips.
Didn't mind this, had some good rhythms and nice background music. I'll admit, wasn't paying too much attention though.
Neil Young is great. Not my favourite of his though, some of the songs are just too long and meandery.
I actually hadn't heard a lot of these except for the first and last song, which were great. The rest of the album was pretty meh, tbh.
Lots of songs on here that I had actually never heard. Some very good, some not so good. Overall I enjoyed it but definitely not my favourite Beatles album.
Enjoyable; didn't pay much attention as it was in the background while working, but it was pleasant to listen to.
Okay, nothing stood out for me. Wouldn't listen again.
I wasn't a huge fan, and Zero didn't like it so that brings it's rating down for sure.
I liked parts of this. Overall not bad.
It was okay. Interested reading about the background of the album and definitely makes sense why it's a bit of a rambling, meandering mess.
There were parts that I wanted to like but most of it was just annoying. I feel like people who make music sometimes need a reminder that people have to listen to it.
There were parts of it I really enjoyed, and I loved that version of Working Class Hero. Other songs faded into the background though.
Didn't enjoy this, and it was way too long.
So good! I had this album as a kid and it was one of my favourites. I do not enjoy the interlude in the Prophet's Song but the rest of the song makes up for it and everything else is either amazing or hilarious.
Not my favourite Leonard Cohen album. Didn't have any songs that really stood out to me. He's done better.
Not my favourite, though had some good beats. I just don't really like much rap.
Enjoyed this. Had a bit of a Bowie-esque sound to it.
It was okay, but not my favourite. Some of the beats were fun.
Can't decide if this guy is a sad alcoholic or a dick, or both. Didn't listen that closely to the lyrics but those I did hear were not great.
Not a rap fan. But some decent beats. As well as some unfortunate skits/dialogue.
Not bad. I think I'd need to listen a few times to appreciate it more.
Didn't really like it at first, but it grew on me as I listened. Quite enjoyable.
Fun beats. Had a little dance party in the kitchen while doing dishes.
Parts are very good; Crosstown Traffic, Voodoo child, and of course, All Along the Watchtower. But a bit long for my taste.
American Girl is good, the rest was okay.
Actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Good stuff.
Not too bad. Enjoyed some parts of it, some were too long for my taste.
Actually not too bad, for a genre I don't particularly enjoy.
Not the best Bowie I've heard, but still good. Golden Years is a fabulous song.
Way too long, too many dicks, too many skits. Gets a two because some of the beats were catchy.
Found this fairly relaxing and enjoyable.
Didn't know what to expect with this as I've never heard of them, but I was pleasantly surprised! Some somewhat Joan Baez-y vocals and nice folky stuff which is my jam.
When it first started I was very displeased, but it actually got better and I didn't mind it by the end.
It was okay. Nothing stood out to me.
Nothing particularly ear-catching, other than Psycho Killer.
This was... not very good. Band on the Run was great, everything else... not the best.
Not too sure about the lyrics/subject matter of the songs, as I was doing dishes and making dinner while listening, but it was pretty darn catchy.
I don't remember much about this but I think it was fine?
Not particularly fun to listen to. The vocals were a bit grating.
I enjoyed this, nice and folky and she has a very pretty voice.
Meh not my type of music and some of the lyrics were not endearing.
Some good riffs, but overall most of the songs blended together.
Well.
I think her voice is too whiney and nasally for me.
Not my favourite, though I kinda liked Frontier Psychiatrist.
My dad really likes Bruce Springsteen and has always wanted me to listen to him, but... I'm not super impressed. There were some okay songs but nothing stood out.
Not my favourite Donovan, but still enjoyable.
Enjoyed some of the songs, not so much others.
Not my thing, and too long.
Some good songs, but definitely not my favourite Eminem album. Some really awful stuff on here, TBH. 2.5, rounded down because it gave me a panic attack.
Did not realize this would actually be airport music. Fairly relaxing, though.
Starting off I didn't like it, but it grew on me by the end.
Some excellent songs on here, and some meh ones.
Not my favourite Radiohead album, but some cool stuff on here. A Wolf at the Door is amazing.
Okay I've never heard these folks before but I actually really enjoyed this.
I didn't enjoy most of the vocal tracks, but the instrumentals were fantastic, so that pulled it up to a 3.
There were some good tracks on here but it was also fairly meandering and long.
Some good stuff, especially the instrumental. But some that I didn't like.
There were some notes and sounds that were cool, but most of it was awful and I didn't want to hear it.
Really nothing special I barely noticed there was music on.
Nothing stood out as good or bad. Solid 2.5.
Not bad; obviously Hallelujah is amazing, but nothing else particularly stood out to me.
It was okay. Not my style of music although there were some good songs.
Really enjoyed this - she has a beautiful voice.
I don't care what Jeremy says this album is baller.
Nothing that really stood out as particularly good or bad.
Some great songs on here, but some forgettable ones too. Not quite enough of the former to push it to a four.
Some fabulous songs on here! A few not as good ones keep it from being a 5.
Some fab songs on here. Not enough to push it to a 5.
Great stuff, but a some is a little too out there for me.
Not a fan. Some of the vocals were okay some of the time, but a whole album of this was too much.
Started pretty intriguing but quickly faded to background music.
Some of the beats were okay but the shouting about poop was weird.
I don't really know what to think. I started it and some parts were okay, and then when I came back to finish late at night Spotify was on shuffle so I don't know if I heard all the songs but I think I did but some were greyed out so I couldn't listen and some were not so good but some I didn't mind and I'm tired and confused.
Not bad, but nothing stood out as very good, either.
Some great tracks on here. Not enough to bring it to a 5
I enjoy the sound of this, but it was a bit long and nothing really stood out.
Kinda fun, good to clean the kitchen to. But not much that stood out.
Dang, I like ABBA. They're just fun. And Fernando is such a great song.
Too many love songs.
The Byrds are very good at covers, and not much else. Only bumped to a three because of My Back Pages.
I have never listened to Prince before, and it turns out I do not like Prince.
I actually really liked this - some songs were very Flaming Lips-esque. But some more experimental ones bring it down to a four.
I learned from this album that I really don't like Tom Waits' laugh.
As far as Christmas music goes, not bad.
Not really my type of music, but I enjoyed parts of it.
Again, not really my style, but some fun beats in here.
Sympathy for the Devil is amazing, but the rest is kinda meh.
Haven't really listened to much Billy Joel, and this was kinda meh. Not great, not bad.
I don't understand this album. I had it on in the background and every time I paid attention it was a different style.
Never really listened to the Yeah Yeahs Yeahs but I really enjoyed this!
Yeah, not much of a Springsteen fan. Very mediocre.
It was okay, some good songs in there, and some that were just too long.
I actually enjoyed this, and the album art is amazing so it bumps it up to a four.
So it turns out Van Morrison has a really annoying voice? It works in Brown Eyed Girl but a whole album of that... not thrilled.
I don't know why, but this album just annoyed me. It felt very pretentious even though I wasn't really listening to the lyrics.
It wasn't bad, but I didn't even notice when the album looped back to the beginning because all the songs sounded the same.
Obvious 5 and anyone who disagrees is silly.
Some nice haunting sounds on here. Liked it!
Really annoying to have to go search these songs individually on YouTube. Which isn't Fats's fault, but didn't help with the enjoyment of the album. The songs were okay, I guess.
Thought I would hate this based on the album cover, but it was actually pretty dece.
No idea what to expect but I enjoyed this!
You Can't Always Get What You Want is amazing, but the rest are just okay.
Maybe it's cuz I was drawing, but this was great music.
Very much the Byrds, so 60s. I don't mind it.
