SepulturaThis was ass. The vocals were cheeks, but the instrumentation was the shit. Favourite Track(s): Dead Embryonic Cells Least Favourite Track(s): Orgasmatron
This was ass. The vocals were cheeks, but the instrumentation was the shit. Favourite Track(s): Dead Embryonic Cells Least Favourite Track(s): Orgasmatron
This album definitely feels like a time piece. I haven't listened to much of The Who's discography before this but I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with the Blues tracks on this project. While most of the blues tracks were okay, most of the pop-rock tracks were a miss for me. Overall, this was an album with a little more hit than miss. Favourite Track(s): My Generation, I Don't Mind Least Favourite Track(s): Much Too Much
Listening to this album was like jumping through many calm dreams and some turbulent ones as well. This album was unlike something I've heard before. I thought most of the tracks were good, but none too outstanding. Overall, I feel like this album would be great for enhancing an outdoor walk or for drifting you to sleep. Favourite Track(s): Olsen olsen Least Favourite Track(s): Avalon
I imagine this album helped shape the Rock & Roll genre. I thought it was okay. Most of the songs had a similar sound, and it didn't feel like there was a standout track. Favourite Track(s): Rack Me My Baby Least Favourite Track(s): Not Fade Away
Toe tapper, head banger, body groover are just a couple of words to describe this album. Every track in this album hits and I didn't find any that disappointed. Favourite Track(s): Get Innocuous, Time to Get Away, Sound of Silver Least Favourite Track(s): Watch the Tapes
It's hard to believe that there are so many classics on this short album. Favourite Track(s): Highway Star, Smoke on the Water, Lazy Least Favourite Track(s): Never Before
With this album, I can see why Bruce Springsteen is widely revered. I never really liked his music or this genre, or at least I thought I did, until I started listening and thinking about the lyrics in each of these tracks. The stories in each track are told masterfully, and the stripped-down instrumentals and the delivery from Springsteen's vocals emphasize the raw emotion in those narratives. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this album. Favourite Track(s): Highway Patrolman, Mansion on the Hill Least Favourite Track(s): Open All Night
I liked the big band and upbeat tracks on this album. I felt like most of the sombre tracks sounded too similar to each other. Favourite Tracks(s): Let the Good Times Roll, Deed I Do Least Favourite Track(s): Tell Them You'll Wait for Me
This album has many of my favourite tracks that the Beatles have made. This project also has a couple of experimental tracks. I think the most interesting track here is Revolution 9, which I liked because it made me feel scared and vulnerable, rather than how it sounded. Favourite Track(s): Blackbird, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Rocky Raccoon, Mother Nature's Son Least Favourite Track(s): Piggies
I think that this album was decent. I didn't like the washed-out, tinny vocals. I had to listen to this album a couple, too many times, because it felt like most of the tracks sounded the same. This album didn't appeal to me, but I can see how it would for others. Favourite Track(s): Sneaky Feelings, Mystery Dance Least Favourite Track(s): Pay It Back
There is so much emotion, so much soul in this album. You can feel her anguish, anger and a sort of hope through her vocals. Amazing vocal performance and instruments alongside. Favourite Track(s): Love Is A Losing Game Least Favourite Track(s): Just Friends
Overall, it sounds pretty good and very theatrical. I would have enjoyed it more if I understood the language, although the instrumentation seemed pretty good for a live album. Favourite Track(s): Les jardins du casino Least Favourite Track(s): Les vieux
This guy rocks and rolls. Favourite Track(s): La La, Mardi Gras in New Orleans Least Favourite Track(s): Goin' Home
I liked the latter half of the album more. I didn't really like the vocals. I feel like the instrumental performances were decent at best. I can't say I'm a fan of this sound. Favourite Track(s): I'm Not in Love Least Favourite Track(s): Warning Sign
A funky album with every track being introspective. Favourite Track(s): Young Americans, Fascination Least Favourite Track(s): Win
Was this record composed of ads and jingles? 100% yes, but each track has a poke and a prod about culture at that time, which even has relevance today. I had to listen to this album a couple of times to get the meaning from each song, and while I didn't really like the sound they produced, I did understand what they were trying to achieve here. Overall, I didn't care much for the production here, but the songwriting was thought-provoking. Favourite Track(s): Odorno, Can't Reach You, Tattoo Least Favourite Track(s): Our Love Was, Medac, Sunrise
I couldn't get into the vocals, and the production on the first few tracks felt lacklustre to me. I feel like the theme in this record was consistent throughout the tracks. I liked the latter half of the tracks more, but marginal at best. Favourite Track(s): It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine), The One I Love Least Favourite Track(s): Finest Worksong, Strange
Impressive vocals and great performances from the band. This record is packed with upbeat tracks, with only a single song being a lower tempo. I feel like most of the tracks sounded too similar, with the only difference being the vocals at times. Favourite Track(s): Your Cheating Heart, Great Balls Of Fire Least Favourite Track(s): Long, Tall Sally
I can't say I liked this record. The stripped-down, experimental synths with the washed-out vocals didn't really tickle my fancy. There was probably some sort of message in the lyrics, but I couldn't get any of them since they were so faded. Favourite Track(s): Penthouse And Pavement Least Favourite Track(s): Soul Warfare, Geisha Boys And Temple Girls, Song With No Name
This record seamlessly blends funk and soul, crafting a raw and emotional sound. I enjoyed the songwriting in this album and the variety of genre mixes throughout. Favourite Track(s): Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away, They Won't Go When I go, Bird Of Beauty Least Favourite Track(s): Creepin'
This album had a lot going for it in the first half, and then it falls off drastically. I enjoyed many of the funky tracks and also a number of the heavier rock tracks. The vocals on all tracks were hit or miss due to the goofy sound. The last half of the album lacks the cohesive songwriting that it had in the first half. I guess not every track has to have an impact, but some of these songs weren't even fun. By the last track, "They're Red Hot", it feels like they weren't even trying. Favourite Track(s): Breaking the Girl, Under the Bridge Least Favourite Track(s): They're Red Hot
A great and emotional record. A variety of unusual instruments were used here, and it worked out well. The vocals are superb, and the songwriting is amazing. Favourite Track(s): Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Baby Driver, The Boxer Least Favourite Track(s): Why Don't You Write Me
I didn't expect the amount of doo-wop that was in this record, and I am all for it. I enjoyed most of the tracks, and there was enough variety to keep my attention. The highlights in this track are the blues-heavy tracks, especially in the last track, "Reconsider Baby", where the band puts up a remarkable performance. There wasn't really a lowlight in this record, but if I had to choose, it would be the sombre tracks, specifically "I Will Be Home Again". It wasn't a bad performance, but it did feel a little out of place considering the brighter tracks in this record. Favourite Track(s): Thrill of Your Love, Reconsider Baby Least Favourite Track(s): I Will Be Home Again, Dirty, Dirty Feeling
This record has its ups and downs for me. I didn't know what to expect, so I planned to see a bunch of folk tracks. I was glad that there was a diverse set of songs here. Highlights for me in this record were the surprise blues in "In The Morning" and the instrumental performances in "Embryonic Journey". A lowlight for me was the vocals. The vocals felt underpowered compared to the instrumentals, and overall, I didn't like the vocal tones found here. Favourite Track(s): In the Morning, Embryonic Journey, White Rabbit, Somebody to Love Least Favourite Track(s): Comin' Back to Me, Today
This is a record with a legendary first track, but unfortunately, the rest of the album can't match its pace. The rest of the songs weren't necessarily bad, but it felt like the quality had gone down with each subsequent track. Highlights of this record were the instrumental performances, the songwriting, and, obviously, the track 'Imagine'. A lowlight for me on this record was the lack of a lasting impression outside of 'Imagine'. Favourite Track(s): Imagine, Crippled Inside Least Favourite Track(s): I Don't Wanna Be A Soldier Mama
Smooth and sexy can be used to describe this record. Most, if not all, songs include a "sexy" sax accompanied by a bumping bass line. A highlight for me on this album was that saxophone performance. I feel like it just added a little extra to each track. The only lowlight I could find was that the tracks sounded too similar to each other. Favourite Track(s): Your Love Is King Least Favourite Track(s): Frankie's First Affair
There was a whole lot to love in this record. There is a variety of tracks ranging from R&B, funk, soul and rock. Highlights on this record for me were the slow songs and more R&B-oriented songs. I also found "Housequake" as a pleasant surprise; I was not expecting a boom bap track in here. A lowlight that I found on this record was the use of those '80s synths. Those synths are just not for me. Favourite Track(s): Starfish and Coffee, Slow Love Least Favourite Track(s): It, Hot Thing
This is one of those records that you play when you're working away or doing something else, but you don't want any silence. It was decent at best, but I don't think I was in the mood for this one. Maybe I'll give it another try in the future. I couldn't say I had any highlights on this record other than that all the tracks, except for the last one, were decent. I couldn't find any tracks that stood out in this record, nor were any tracks distinct from each other. This record just felt like a blend of one sound, and I couldn't tell where a track started or ended, which might be a highlight if you're looking for that sort of thing. I am also not a fan of 80s synths, but that's just me. Favourite Track(s): Ancodia Least Favourite Track(s): The Fat Shadow (Pointy Head Mix)
After hearing this for the first time, I can easily say this has made it onto my all-time favourite records. I was first indirectly introduced to Otis Redding from one of my favourite movies growing up, called "Are We There Yet?" starring Ice Cube. There was a scene where one of the characters sings 'Respect', but it was Aretha Franklin's rendition. After all these years, I'm glad I can listen to where it all began. I had many highlights in this record, but I'll list a few. I enjoyed the way that Otis Redding exuded soul in the emotional tracks. The saxophone in most of the songs was a pleasure to listen to. Almost every song on this record is legendary; it's something you've probably listened to before. I can't say I really had any lowlights in this record. One might be that maybe the tracks could have been organized better. The first track, "Ole Man Trouble," didn't hook me as the others did, and it could have been moved further into the album. Favourite Track(s): Respect, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, I've Been Loving You Too Long. Least Favourite Track(s): Ole Man Trouble
I couldn't get into this record. The language barrier might play a factor, but I don't think I could get into the melodies and the general sound of this record. I didn't have many highlights. I enjoyed the heavier rock-oriented songs in this record. My lowlights, as you my have I have guessed, were the general melodies in many of the songs. The language barrier was also an issue, but that's just my own skill issue. Favourite Track(s): Trem De Doido Least Favourite Track(s): Lilia, Ao Que Vai Nascer, Cravo E Canela
It's a technical masterpiece. With every listen, a new detail is heard, a new story discovered. This record is like an empty canvas that each performer contributes to and builds off of. Each performer has their chance to shine, and each of them absolutely killed it. Feeling Coltrane pour an ounce of soul out into the first and last track was a highlight for me. The loss of his presence in Part III makes you yearn for it, and it feels so satisfying when he starts playing again. I didn't have any lowlights on this record. This record needs a couple of listens to get the ideas that they were going for here. Favourite Track(s): Part I - Acknowledgement, Part IV - Psalm Least Favourite Track(s): Part III - Pursuance
This record was pretty groovy. I usually don't like synthpop, but this one surprised me. The good tracks were really good. The other tracks were just meh, but not that bad either. Favourite Track(s): The Robots, The Model Least Favourite Track(s): Spacelab
Lots of variety on this record, ranging from hard rock to psych rock. I enjoyed the lower tempo and heavier stuff. I couldn't get behind the heavier psych rock, but it wasn't bad. Favourite Track(s): Orange Least Favourite Track(s): Green
It's an enjoyable record. Live records can be hit or miss. This record, however, was more hit than miss. I liked the performances from the band and B.B. King. I thought there was good emotional delivery in the vocals. I was surprised by the lack of guitar presence in this record, although I loved it when it was there. The saxophone and piano performances were also amazing. I only had a few low points that I noticed. One was sacrificing some of the sound quality because of the live recording. Another was that some of the tracks seemed forgettable. Favourite Track(s): How Blue Can You Get? Worry, Worry Least Favourite Track(s): Help the Poor
I wasn't expecting an album from 2017 to be on this list for some reason. Overall, I think the album was okay. This record had a lot more lows than highs for me. This album was interesting and made use of a lot of different sounds, some to a positive or negative effect. The production was decent enough, too. Most of the tracks on this album were just decent. There were only a few tracks that stood out to me. Favourite Track(s): The Lightning Back Least Favourite Track(s): Slow Motion, The Architect, Ravenspoint
As much as I love "There She Goes", the rest of the tracks don't do anything for me. The other tracks were decent at best. Those gritty, harsh vocals don't do it for me. Favourite Track(s): There She Goes Least Favourite Track(s): I Can't Sleep
Pretty good! It's the first time I've listened to a full record from The Beach Boys, and I got what I expected. I enjoyed the vocals in this record. I feel like the instruments were sparse; it made the vocals shine more. My only ick on this record was the lyrics. Some of the songs felt kind of cringy in the present day. Favourite Track(s): Dance, Dance, Dance, Please Let Me Wonder Least Favourite Track(s): Don't Hurt My Little Sister
If this is a country album, I'd love to listen to more country. Honestly, I felt like this album was more of a soul or gospel record. This record is relaxing and dreamy. I loved how Nelson expresses his feelings throughout this record. His dream-like vocals make me feel like everything is going to be all right. I also find the faint use of the organ throughout many of the tracks on this record. Favourite Track(s): Georgia On My Mind, Unchained Melody, September Song, Moonlight in Vermont Least Favourite Track(s): On The Sunny Side of the Street
Some tracks on this record were so painful to listen to that this was the first record I had to skip tracks on. I understand what this record was going for. The genres that they tried to satirize just made some tracks awful to listen to. I think this record is probably important with the messages that it brings throughout each track, the experimental sounds (that didn't age too well, in my opinion), and the freedom of being able to clown on other genres of music. I found that "It Can't Happen Here" to be particularly relevant to today. Favourite Track(s): Anyway The Wind Blows Least Favourite Track(s): Help, I'm a Rock
This was a fun live record. Each band member had their own time to shine, and every track was strong instrumentally. I also enjoyed how well they worked the crowd. The only thing that could have been better was if the vocals were slightly louder. Favourite Track(s): The Boys Are Back In Town Least Favourite Track(s): Sha-la-la, The Rocker
I can't say that I enjoyed this record. Every track feels annoying to listen to, almost like it's constantly trying to sell you something. Almost every song felt like an annoying jingle to a soap opera. I think the only good thing I enjoyed was the variety of genres in this record. Favourite Track(s): The Moonbeam Song Least Favourite Track(s): Coconut
A short and sweet record. I enjoyed most of the performances from the band and James Brown, too. I think this record suffers from too much filler, and it being a live recording is to blame. The background noise, the audience, and the short set make it harder for me to rate higher. Favourite Track(s): Medley Least Favourite Track(s): Think
It's a good swing record. I enjoyed the performances from the instrumental tracks. All of the tracks were catchy and easy to listen to. I think that this record lacks a track that stands out. Favourite Track(s): Body and Soul Least Favourite Track(s): The Lip
This record is great. The production is good, the performances are amazing, and it's easy enough to listen to. Favourite Track(s): All Blues Least Favourite Track(s): So What
There was a lot to enjoy in this record. While it was solid instrumentally, I didn't like the gritty vocals in the more upbeat tracks. The vocals did shine in the mellow tracks. Favourite Track(s): Today, Sweet Sweet Least Favourite Track(s): Mayonaise
Every track in this record sounded different from the last. I thought that this album started strong, and the quality diminished as it went on. At certain points, the difference in sound played in favour of this record. As the album continued, I felt like the tracks were sounding too experimental for me. One thing is assured, though; it is interesting. Favourite Track(s): Re-Make/Re-Model Least Favourite Track(s): Sea Breezes
This was a mixed bag. I enjoyed some of the songwriting. Some tracks painted a good visual of the themes. I think that for other songs, the songwriting didn't connect with me. The first few tracks on this record felt sort of similar to other tracks on here as well. Favourite Track(s): Run to the Hills Least Favourite Track(s): Invaders, The Prisoner, The Number Of The Beast, Total Eclipse
A great album. I enjoyed most of the tracks. All of the good tracks, were really good. Favourite Track(s): Ms. Jackson, Spaghetti Junction, B.O.B. Least Favourite Track(s): I'll Call B4 I Cum, Stankonia
This record was decent. I feel like after the first 3 tracks passed, it just took a nosedive into decent. Favourite Track(s): I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For Least Favourite Track(s): Exit
I enjoyed this record. I love the way that they worked the crowd in "Egbe Mi O", and how they got the audience to help with the song. Favourite Track(s): Egbe Mi O (Carry Me) Least Favourite Track(s): Drum Solo
A great record. I enjoyed almost all the tracks. The songwriting is excellent, and the performances are tight. There's a lot to enjoy here. Favourite Track(s): Suite-Pee, Sugar, Soil Least Favourite Track(s): Mind
The record was good and had a couple of captivating tracks. The songwriting was good. The melodies were enjoyable. I feel like some of the deeper cuts were forgettable. Favourite Track(s): Shakermaker, Supersonic, Slide Away. Least Favourite Track(s): Up in the Sky
Not bad. The songwriting was good. The themes seem to be still relevant today. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I felt like the entire track was produced like a comedy skit. Favourite Track(s): Mary Ann Least Favourite Track(s): I Love the Dead
I was not expecting something from 2021 to be on this list. I enjoyed this record. The songwriting and storytelling were excellent, and I enjoyed Lana's emotionally charged vocal delivery. I did have a few gripes with this project. I feel like the general sound in this record felt a little bland. At times, it felt like some songs were too similar to others. Favourite Track(s): Chemtrails Over the Country Club, Breaking Up Slowly Least Favourite Track(s): Tulsa Jesus Freak
It was okay. The performances were good enough. The guitar solos were cool. I feel like nothing stood out. Favourite Track(s): Hot, Blue, And Righteous, La Grange Least Favourite Track(s): Master of Sparks, Beer Dringers & Hell Raisers
Pretty good. I enjoyed the distinct dream-like sound and production. I also really enjoyed the melodies on tracks like "Grounds for Divorce" and "Friend of Ours". I did find that songs like "Weather to Fly" a little grating to listen to with the repetitive lines. Favourite Track(s): Grounds for Divorce, The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver Least Favourite Track(s): Weather to Fly
This was good. There was a lot of variety in this record that hit a lot more than it missed. Favourite Track(s): Thinking of Ways, If You Want It, Take It, I've Lost the Reason Least Favourite Track(s): Leaves and Sand, The White Noise Revisited
I enjoyed most of the tracks on this record. I liked how each track blended into the next. The only things I didn't enjoy were the heavier, distorted sounds in the latter tracks. Favourite Track(s): Get to You Least Favourite Track(s): Goin' Back, Natural Harmony, Old John Robertson
It was good. A nice pop-rock track with hits thrown in. The tracks, apart from the hits, were decent at best. Favourite Track(s): One Way Or Another, Heart Of Glass Least Favourite Track(s): Picture This
It was okay. The production felt cinematic, and it felt like they were going for a "movie soundtrack" kind of sound. I don't think I'll go back and listen to this one. Favourite Track(s): Loom of the Land Least Favourite Track(s): I Had a Dream, Joe, Christina the Astonishing, John Finn's Wife
This record felt decent at best. Apart from the first track, the rest of the album felt average to below average to me. Favourite Tracks(s): If I Had a Heart Least Favourite Track(s): When I Grow Up
Fantastic record. Lots of great collaborations on this record, and also a lot of well-produced and hype tracks. It's sad that someone so awful could produce something so amazing. Favourite Track(s): POWER, All Of The Lights, Blame Game Least Favourite Track(s): Runaway
What a stellar record. The production is fantastic. The cross of genres between hip-hop and psych-rock is executed with great effect. Each track is moody and emotional, which is emphasized in the distorted vocals and beats. I am pleasantly surprised with this one, and I enjoyed this album. Favourite Track(s): Glory Box, It Could Be Sweet Least Favourite Track(s): It's Fire
What a weird record. I couldn't make out anything that the vocalist was saying. Favourite Track(s): Dub Housing, I, Will Wait, Drinking Wine Spodyody Least Favourite Track(s): Thriller!
It was good. This record feels well-rounded. It sounded pretty good instrumentally, and the vocals weren't off-putting. Favourite Track(s): Give the Mule What He Wants Least Favourite Track(s): Hispanic Impression
Short and sweet album. Favourite Track(s): America, Hazy Shade of Winter Least Favourite Track(s): Save the Life Of My Child
Mixing electronic sounds with hip-hop made for an interesting record. I enjoyed the mix of the two genres. At times, though, the vocals were grating to listen to. Favourite Track(s): Fade Away, All Night Long, Creation, The End Least Favourite Track(s): Sketch, Playing With Fire
This record was okay. There are hits on this record, but the deeper cuts didn't hit for me. The lyrics and more importantly, the vocals didn't do it for me. The second half of this record was more enjoyable. Favourite Tracks(s): Jump, Hot for Teacher Least Favourite Track(s): Top Jimmy
This record was decent and a little underwhelming. Musically, the performances were good, and the vocals were okay. Favourite Track(s): Search and Destroy, Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell Least Favourite Track(s): Raw Power, Death Trip
A decent record. I enjoyed the jazzier and funkier tracks. The other tracks felt disorienting or gave sensory overload. This is definitely a record to listen to when you're in a particular mood. Favourite Track(s): Angryman, Sunshine Least Favourite Track(s): Binnel Bay, Lying In The Sow
What a crazy trip. I enjoyed the first half of the record more. I liked the storytelling (if you can call it that) and imagery in "Who Needs the Peace Corps?" and "Mom & Dad". Getting into the latter half of the record, I wasn't really into the abstract tracks. Favourite Track(s): Who Needs the Peace Corps?, Mom & Dad, What's The Ugliest Part Of Your Body? Least Favourite Track(s): Nasal Retentive Calliope Music, The Chrome Plated Megaphone Of Destiny
It was decent. The only standout track for me was "It's No Use". Favourite Track(s): It's No Use Least Favourite Track(s): All I Really Want To Do
Short, sweet and great record. Most of the tracks were catchy. I enjoyed the production and the musical performances. Favourite Track(s): More than a Feeling, Hitch a Ride Least Favourite Track(s): Smokin'
What an absolutely beautiful record. I liked the instrumentation in each track. I enjoyed the sombre tones in this record. This record is the first on my list currently that made me do some research on the artist. Sad to have found out that he passed away young and lived such a troubled life. Favourite Track(s): Introduction, One Of These Things First Least Favourite Track(s): Sunday
Excellent songwriting and goofy-sounding Bob Dylan make for a good record. Favourite Track(s): You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go Least Favourite Track(s): If You See Her, Say Hello
Great mix of soul and folk. I enjoyed most of the tracks, the songwriting, and the production. My only critique is that most of the track sounds too same-y and sounds bland at times. Favourite Track(s): Join the Boys, Like Fire Least Favourite Track(s): Save Me
Amazing record. Loved the production and enjoyed Biggie's flow. I liked the samples that were put together here. I couldn't really enjoy the misogynistic lyrics which also encourages domestic abuse. The skits were also weird as hell. Favourite Track(s): Machine Gun Funk, Juicy Least Favourite Track(s): Unbelievable
Amazing record. Loved the blues influence in "Warning". The performances were great. The lyricism was good, too. Rest in Peace, Ozzy. Favourite Track(s): N.I.B., Warning, Behind the Wall of Sleep Least Favourite Track(s): Evil Woman
Pleasantly surprised with this record. I wasn't expecting a mix of Pop, Folk, and Jazz. I enjoyed the jazz section in "Moondance." Favourite Track(s): Moondance, It Stoned Me Least Favourite Track(s): Into the Mystic
The record was good enough. There was a constant stream of good songs. It fell off in the middle with "I'd Rather Be High", then started to pick up again in the latter part of the album. Favourite Track(s): Dirty Boys Least Favourite Track(s): I'd Rather Be High
There were a few hits here, but there were a bunch of misses as well. Most tracks started great, but then took a nosedive when the vocals came in. Favourite Track(s): Newboys Least Favourite Track(s): Bored Teenagers, New Church
There's a lot to enjoy in this record. The witty lyrics, the great production, and the introspection that Eminem goes through at times, to name a few. There were a bunch of comedy on this record, which was great for the first half of the record, but started to grate during the latter half. Favourite Track(s): Role Model, Rock Bottom Least Favourite Track(s): My Fault
There are tracks on here that everyone's heard at least once. It's trippy and feels kind of like an out-of-body experience when listening to this entire record through. It's got great production and head boppers, then before a track ends, the mixing gets distorted and messes with your head and in a good way too. Favourite Track(s): Electric Feel, Of Moons, Birds & Monsters Least Favourite Track(s): Pieces of What
I enjoyed most of this record. I liked the performances and some of the vocals throughout the album. Favourite Track(s): Credit In The Straight World, She Walks On Me Least Favourite Track(s): Jennifer’s Body
What a fun record. I didn't watch the film, but this soundtrack sounds fun. I enjoyed how easy the tracks are to listen to and just the general funk and soul in this record. Favourite Track(s): No Thing On Me (Cocaine Song), Think (Instrumental), Superfly Least Favourite Track(s): Eddie You Should Know Better
I feel like this record tries too hard to be a conscious hip-hop album. Some of the lyrics were just too weird, notably most of the lyricism in "Natural". I enjoyed most of the production, but there were also some unusual instrumental choices, especially found in the latter half of the record. Favourite Track(s): Fishin' 4 Religion Least Favourite Track(s): Natural
I think this record flows well. I feel like it tells a story throughout its run. I liked the instrumentation for the most part. I felt that the transition from higher-tempo to lower-tempo tracks wasn't done too well. Favourite Track(s): Fell In Love With A Girl, Little Room, Offend In Every Way Least Favourite Track(s): I think I Smell A Rat
I was groovin' to every track on this record. I loved the performances, especially the keyboard player. Favourite Track(s): Green Onions Least Favourite Track(s): Twist and Shout
Lots of hits and misses on this record. It was mostly enjoyable. Favourite Track(s): Least Favourite Track(s):
Every track on this is a banger in some way. Favourite Track(s): Riot Van, Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But… Least Favourite Track(s): Mardy Bun
This record was decent. I didn't like the vocals at first, but they grew on me as the record progressed. I'm not really into the Jangle sound, so maybe that's why it didn't do it for me. Favourite Track(s): Wishing the Days Away Least Favourite Track(s): Levi Stubbs' Tears
I wasn’t feeling the first half of this record. It gets better in the latter half. I enjoyed the variety in sound from most of the latter tracks. Favourite Track(s): Excuse Me Least Favourite Track(s): Humdrum
A weird record that has hits and misses. I thought that it was mostly good. Favourite Track(s): The Beautiful People Least Favourite Track(s): Dried Up, Tied And Dead To The World
Really liked this record. Loved the general sound that was achieved here. There's a nice mix of instrumental and vocal tracks. There is no doubt that any track on this record will get you grooving or dancing. Favourite Track(s): Amor De Loca Juventud, Murmullo Least Favourite Track(s): El Carretero
A good record that has all of the tracks that I know from The Who. Lots of hits, all of them enjoyable, and not very many lows. Favourite Track(s): Baba O'Riley Least Favourite Track(s): Getting Mobile
Great variety in this record. Every track scratches a different itch. I enjoyed the traditional pop-inspired tracks found in the latter part of this record. Favourite Track(s): Raised on Robbery, Twisted Least Favourite Track(s): Car on a Hill
Loved the energetic beats and the groovin' melodies. Favourite Track(s): Zombie Least Favourite Track(s): Mistake
The vocals were grating. I couldn't get into the melodies in this record. Favourite Track(s): Home Tonight Least Favourite Track(s): Sick As A Dog, Nobody's Fault, Get The Lead Out
I was quite surprised by this record. Usually, I wouldn't be into this type of vocals, but I think the instrumentation was the main focus here, and the vocals served as an accent to it—a very unique pop record. Favourite Track(s): Mud In Your Eye, Flesh Of My Flesh Least Favourite Track(s): Louise Louise
A weird record. It's good instrumentally, and the vocals were decent. Some of the lyrics were weird. Favourite Track(s): Traitor, Motorcrash Least Favourite Track(s): Sick For Toys
Loved the performances here - the piano stood out on this record. I feel like each track represents a different emotion or mood. Favourite Track(s): I Surrender, Dear, Bemsha Swing Least Favourite Track(s): Brilliant Corners
Almost every track had the same sound as the previous one on this record. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it sure does get boring quickly. Favourite Track(s): Blitzkrieg Bop, Judy Is a Punk Least Favourite Track(s): I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend, Chain Saw
The first 2 tracks were good. The rest of the record fell into the descent territory. The sound wasn't for me. Favourite Track(s): Keep On Movin' Least Favourite Track(s): Feeling Free, African Dance
Great record. I haven't liked a single Frank Zappa record up to this point, but this one was amazing. Favourite Track(s): Willie The Pimp, The Gumbo Variations, Least Favourite Track(s): Little Umbrellas
The popular songs on this record are great. The rest of this album is decent at best. Favourite Track(s): Sweet Child O' Mine Least Favourite Track(s): Out Ta Get Me
