Not a fan of Bonos voice. He tries too hard and ends up sounding like hes straining for a poo. That aside The Edge makes up for it with a fairly unique guitar sound. Drummer Larry Mullen Jnr is ok. Catchy singalong tunes but thats probably because they milked the album for singles.

I had forgotten just how much I love this album. Its perfection from the first note to the last. Tangerine is one of my all time favourite tracks. The album and in fact Zeppelin havent dated a bit.

The first track was not at all what I expected from a band with such a naff name. I was pleasantly surprised with some really good blues guitar. From there Im afraid it, track by track, descended into just as I expected from a band with such a naff name. It was odd. The first track was l'orrible, an accordion???? I could just picture a metal band in stripey t.shirts and berets. Didnt do it for me. It picked up from there, vocal was pretty good, even if it was in french. However the whole album lacked a decent drum. Finally heard a drum towards the end, pity they didnt have drumsticks.

One song sounded remarkably like very early Who, another like Nights in white satin and some tracks made me think thats what the Beatles would sound like if they could play their instruments properly and got a decent vocalist. some of it jolly background noise.

Oh no not yet another rap/hip hop or whatever its called. However...I thought this was a parody it was so silly. High blood pressure and having to watch cholesterol. If it wasnt a parody it was laughably bad, if it was it sort of missed. Either way wasnt good but I did keep it on which is unusual for me with rap.
George Michael was a very talented songwriter and he had a beautifully powerful voice at times. His Freddie Mercury tribute singing Somebody to love showed that. However this album was so gloomy and slow I didnt really enjoy it much.
22 minutes of autobahn was overkill and I was braindead before the end of it. A 3 minute version is fine. All of the tracks would have been ok if they didnt drone on for so long. They should be short and sweet. Bill Bailey did it better. Best thing about this album was it wasnt Jean Michel Jarre

love Peter Gabriels voice. He's done better albums namely his first solo album and his third. This didnt really stand the test of time but I still love it
a bit naff, he should stick to writing songs. He whistled on two tracks!! was there any need? ruined an otherwise mediocre album.

There were some wonderful drums in places but way too much brass for me. A bit too long.
It was a good listen. They were never brilliant but theyre do what they do well
first 4 tracks sounded all the same. Hate his awful camp voice. rest of album was dreary and hope he got a black eye of Springsteen.

This started off really well with some drumming, settled down for a decent listen, then that awful, high pitched irritating annoying voice. It grated from the first note and gradually got into every nerve, I had to turn it off before I killed something. Horrendous album

I found it hard to be objective. It hasnt dated well and the tracks needed Floyds music. Piper at the gates of Dawn was Syd Barrett at his best his lyrics Roger Waters et al music. All tracks were capable of being See Emily Play with the right music/production.
It was harmless enough. Absolute rubbish song writing, my parents loved this sort of stuff, I remembered some of the songs all this time later.

Never heard of Sugar and wasnt expecting much with it being early 90's. Nicely surprised I enjoyed it a lot, didnt care for the american pretend punk acfcent on vocal but music was fine, some good guitar.
First track vocal was absolutely horrendous, second track was rather lame and Im afraid that come this morning I cant really remember anything about it. Not good
