one of those albums that you turn it all the way up and hit play. Not a bad song on the entire record.

has a Radiohead but good vibe 3 songs in debonair has a fun walking line in it very period production and tones
live record -3 but it's The Who so +1
best foo record imo 5 stars has a lot of nirvana leftovers not a bad thing
suffers greatly from the valley style track listing and does not deliver a solid finish. the singles and 2 tracks at the top were all that kept my attention
I feel this album suffered from the 70s vinyl label idea of no one flips a record. all the good stuff was on side A leaving nothing for side B
I just don't this record. it's the same song and lyric format throughout and it's gets experimental in the middle.
sounds like R.E.M but if they were from the late 60s
great album start to finish.
nothing wowing
a solid record
this would be a great album if Bob Dylan wasn't on it. still don't like his vocal tone or cadences.
it's the introduction of these guys not the best but a decent start
second best
This album sounds like standing in guitar center on a Saturday afternoon
pretty standard folk album from an established artist
they were still tuning in the sound. flashes of thrash and punk throughout
it's the album come on
still holds up
meh

one of those albums that you turn it all the way up and hit play. Not a bad song on the entire record.
terrible human
never had these guys really grab me
the beat is the exact same throughout the album and the phone skits were jarring and placed oddly
it's a Clapton album nothing wowing
it has my favorite Sabbath of all time on it plus it's ground zero and doesn't have a bad song on it
kind of a snooze
it's like Elvis Costello did an emo record
*pushes soap box into place* the only good thing about this record is the hook riff of reign in blood the vocals sound like a fat kid who just ran up the rocky stairs and is trying to speak the speed is impressive but the riffs are not the drums are very repetitive in the patterns used. solid patterns but maybe play more than 3 for an entire record their fans are generally closed minded one dimensional people (thus why they can only scream slayer at any show even if slayer isnt in attendance) this band live is the single most boring thing ive seen on a stage. zero stage presentation zero movement zero set design they either start or end with reign in blood and have so since this album all in all there are multiple bands who do this genre better.
this is her best imo
it was alright
probably the best unplugged and live album ever recorded. its legacy has long out lasted the show it was made on.
interesting how it's so minimal but so spacious in the sound
idk why but I really liked this one
it was stripped down Beck
not good
started great but then half way through it becomes the same 3 songs over and over. I get staying on brand but maybe not use the same progressions to a fault
I legitimately tried. 4 songs I made all the way through and still didn't like them skipped through the rest of the songs half way through at best.
still holds up 26 years later
still a banger top to bottom
duh
my favorite album of their entire career
never was really impressed by these guys
the hit was the highlight and even that is not great due to overplaying everywhere
there were far better drum and bass djs around this time than this one
still the best one
nothing really notable outside the single
I mean this record changed rock and roll forever how could it not be a 5?
iconic for a reason
good ol uncle Al
absolute banger did not see coming
amazing arrangements, wide variety of grooves
would of been better as a single disc. really drags on as a two disc.
just not my vibe
probably their best in the entire catalog
4 stars based on production and recording not the actual songs
eh. the single was about the only highlight
just the hits for me
5 still seems low for the impact it had and still has
first surprise of the year. wonderfully arranged and produced. his voice is pitch perfect and masterfully utilized throughout. does get a bit long in the tooth at the last 3 songs though.
banger. even the slow ones were upbeat
only the king can defy my live album rule.
started real strong and then went absolutely nowhere. just the same song for 90% of the record.
I much prefer my bee gees disco.
cookie cutter 60s was not impressed
to clear this is a 4.9 but they don't allow it.
all day everyday
its a great record but the overhype hurts it
sounds like REM with a new vocalist
can't get into his style at all
wasn't expecting this at all. pleasantly surprised
I feel his entire vibe is a 3 by design
her voice is not appealing to me
its not terrible, I just don't see me seeking it out .
started as a 4 then quickly fell into what I can only describe as a Doors inspired jam band with a guitarist who doesn't understand the art of not playing to give space.
the movie wasn't that rememberable, I surely didn't need to listen to the soundtrack before I died.
great guys. just never really got into the music they make.
never got into these guys. it decent enough music but just not for me
fell off a little at the end.
I prefer my WU whole
how can you not give THE album 5 stars?
still holds up start to finish
wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did
better than I expected, but still bob dylan.
it wasn't great when it came out. still holds up in that regard.
could of kept the second disc.
it's a but long but has a good balance of songs
they tried for a sound and missed it
still do not like his voice or cadence
same song over and over, also aged like milk. extremely dated.
even if you completely hate metal, you know this album. has to be 5 stars just for that. let alone it not having a bad track on it.
better than I expected with pre insane kanye.
I remember it being a little better than just the single. but it's not.
better than expected, longer than necessary.
it was way too repetitive.
finally found a Smith's record I actually like.
not their best, not their worst.
