• The only Lana Del Rey song I’ve heard before today is Summertime Sadness, which I admittedly don’t mind • The high pitched whisper vocals throughout White Dress are awful and I really hope they aren’t a running theme throughout the album • The whole album is super repetitive • At least Dance Till We Die sounds different to the other tracks • Being an album released in 2021, I feel like every song was written to be radio or TikTok hits, rather than to be listened as an album. I don’t think it should be considered an album you must hear before you die, and I won’t be listening to anything from it again. Favourite song: Dance Till We Die
One good song and that was a Joni Mitchell cover with other people singing.
Do not like lana's singing style, like every word takes a tremendous effort to pronounce. The whole album is a blur of similar sounding songs. Hard to finish this album.

Her voice annoys me. I like strong resonant voices, not this whispery weak sounding stuff.

Not really sure how this is one of the best albums of its release date, much less all time. I just found it so boring.
First, very few albums are so iconic in their first year that they become "a must-listen to before you die" status. Second, of those albums that are, they were game changers that spoke to current events (What's Going On), or forever changed the sound of music (Elvis, The Beatles). Lan Del Rey's "Chemtrails Over The Country Club" does neither. Moving on from the worthiness of being on such a list, this album is still meh. The vocals are repetitive and whiny while the music is flat. This is my 254th generated album and it is the first that I've stopped listening to before making it the blissful end. I've grudged through a lot of bad albums, this one takes the cake. Congratulations Lana, my first one star review goes to you.
