I'm going to say it...Radiohead is overrated and this album is not their best effort.

If it's raining, and a nap is necessary, this might be a fit. Rather dull.
Listening to this album, waiting for something that never happens. Letdown.
Brutal
Raw, loud, provocative, creepy and intense, this is album is peak Marilyn Manson.

Catchy album, and I don't question its universal acclaim, but it doesn't resonate with me as much as I wish it did.
Three out of the first five songs are good, but zero out of the next five are good, and in its entirety, a number of the ten songs on the album unlistenable. Two stars.
Fun listen and cutting edge at the time it was released. Chuck D solid. Flava gimmicky at times. It can get repetitive.
Raw, loud, provocative, creepy and intense, this is album is peak Marilyn Manson.
If it's raining, and a nap is necessary, this might be a fit. Rather dull.
one of the worst.
silky voice helps me forget that her style isn't quite my taste
It has its moments.
Opener is decent, but not much for me after that.
Not feeling it.
not memorable
60s folk, acoustic vibe.
It's one of the best rock albums of all time.
Great rap albums only need a handful of good songs; this falls short.
Can't feel it.
I knew and really liked "Grounds for Divorce," and was very enthusiastic and eager to give the full album a listen. It was a disappointment for me.
The first song was great, but from there it tailed off for me.
So so.
Better than expected.
Great vibes, passion and spirit
No.
Just couldn't get into this.
Solid 3.44 rounded down to a 3.
Rubbish.
Loud, intense, solid album.
The lead vocals are just too much to take. Really annoying. There are some good moments, but they are tough to get to...through that voice. Damn.
yes, I would like to hear this again.
Rough listen.
Its worthy of being in the rotation.
no inspiration found...
Great album.
Good listen
New to me, good listen.
Listening to this album, waiting for something that never happens. Letdown.
I think "Wane" would be a better name for this band. Blah.
Worth another listen.
melancholy..but powerful and good. 3 or 4 standout songs. = 3.4444
2.55 with a round up to 3 based on his legendary status.
Disappointing and not good.
Expected and needed more.
a star for every song that I'd like to hear again
2.49-ish
Not the worst but 1.49 (round up to 2)
Couldn't vibe with it.
Brutal
It's a no for me
Eh.
Good listen.
waiting to be grabbed
What a ride. Great pace and intensity.
This album is one of the best ever.
Good listen and worthy of another go around
2.44 rounded down :\
Love Air but this album disappoints.
Vintage Neil.
He's a legend and all but this album is a tough listen.
Overrated mess.
Ice Cube was cool as a member of NWA but he’s not the rapper who can command your attention for an entire album.
Neat album save the female lead vocal
I'm going to say it...Radiohead is overrated and this album is not their best effort.
Overrated, as with most of Radioheads work.
Hm. Expected more.
interesting and important piece
Frank is amazing obv. But every song sounds the same on this dreary snoozer
It's not good enough to warrant another listen, but may grow on ya, if ya did. It's a 2.2 round down.
This band, and this album are overrated. Full stop.
its just eh. Thats it.
Nice story and all but just not feelin' it.
Not for everyone, but this album absolutely has its moments. Loud. In your face. One of the greatest albums ever? Maybe not, but there are at least 4 very good songs. Great for a workout or on the off chance you need to demo a wall, or smash something.
First 2 songs kick. It falls off from there.
Great album by one of the best 👍🏻
Annoying voice. Overrated.
Sounds like this guy poured his heart into this album. I really appreciate that.
Love the BBs but this just doesn’t live up.
Sonic Youth disappoints again
Not feelin' it.
5 stars. No review required. Burn, burn, yes you're gonna burn!
The interludes are ridiculous and bad, stopping any flow. There is no rhythm. Rough late 80s pop mess! 2 stars is a gift.
Over rated
Solid album. After the first two tracks...I was legit thinking its a 4 or 5 star record. Great energy. It fades a little from there but its still a good listen.
Could not wait for this to end. It’s a meandering mess, somewhere between 1 and 2 stars.
Alice Cooper: lucky to have been paid for this rubbish.
Radiohead are ok…this album is way over rated and not their best. Bends, Rainbows much more coherent
Awful. One of the worst so far.
Brutal.
It’s like a 2.75, round up to 3
Never heard this before and it’s got some pep. Good listening
Such a significant album, still tough to get through.
'Wishing Well' is a good song. 'Sign Your Name' is ok. The rest of the album is a 'no.'
LL is cool and all, but as far as rap albums go, this misses the mark. One memorable song, really.
Sounds like just about every other album released in 1967. Meh.
It's cool, just not my thing. Very light and easy.
not their best effort.
I'm ok with trying new things, pushing the envelope. This is annoying as hell, but worthy of two stars.
I'd say 3.444. Just not quite a 4. But its got something.
Who needs an annoying, cheeky review? 3 stars.
I want to like it, but I don't.
the Quiet Boss.
Weak.
👍🏻
3.4444444444
Didn’t grab me.
Such a great album, raw, thought-provoking, it pushes boundaries and limits. Great lyrics and beats. The album tails at the end, although 'SGDAF' is a great closer.
Appreciate this album, its place in history and Rubin's influence, but it's not for me.
I don’t get it
Perhaps the most over rated album ever, not sorry.
Sensational is subjective.
I wouldn't define this as Neil's best work.
Not riveting.
Disappointing.
Hard pass.
🥱
Horrible.
NWA was cool, but the music was just ok.
Nope, not my vibe.
The voice ..the sound… just terrible!
Annoying.
Pretty cool.
Fantastic effort
Legendary.
Phenomenal. Never gets old, so great and never duplicated. One of the best albums ever recorded. 10/10
blah - nothin to hear here.
Not just giving 5 cuz Beatles.
I remember ripping the packaging off this cassette in summer of 1991 driving home, and reveling in the perfection. Enter Sandman had already played on MTV but it was the first time I heard Sad But True and all the other tracks. Still my favorite band. Metallica - the best of all time.
I did not know that 'Streets of Your Town,' was a cover by Dope Lemon. Long live music!
Great thrash metal. Didn't notice the progressive lyrics back in the 80s but I do now. 4.44 stars.
Never heard of this band. Surprisingly interesting. Some viable tracks...3 stars.
Annoying and overrated. Jeez.
Had potential after the first track, but it waned from there.
The Eagles are legendary, but this album leaves a lot to be desired.
Absolute treasure of an album.
Love Lou but Nah
Not good. Sorry Iggy.
Noisy and messy. Not good
Just not a lot to like here. Beats are off and the rapping leaves a lot to be desired.
somewhere between a 2 but closer to 3..rounding up.
Generally horrible.
Brilliant
Firm 3
Excellent!
Not for me
If you the same song and record it 15 times with different lyrics, it isn’t exciting. No matter how much you shout.
Stevie is an inspiration and one of the greatest musicians to ever live. Still, this album is not my cup of tea.
It's ok. Not their best stuff.
'C o P' is great but the rest of the album doesn't have it.
RW is douchey, but this album is one of the best ever.
2 decent songs = 2 ⭐️
Dare I say, one of the most annoying voices of all time? The music is ok/good in places, but that horrible voice just about ruins it.
Annoying, and far too much nonsense going on.
Band name is horrible. Hard to get over that. But then you hear it and that voice...ugh.
Nothing special
Yawner
worth a listen
Bottom tenth of the 1,000. Fascinatingly boring.
Meh. One song does not make an album listenable
I know it’s not a joke, but it sure sounds like one. Terrible.
Nothing exciting. Plenty of noise but meh.
Just can't push it to 3 :(
Great voice and all but…this streak is Over done. “You/You’re” in half the titles is telling. Next.
its between a 1 and a 2...generally horrible, but not the worst of the worst.
Holy crap: Renegades of Funk, did not know Rage was not the original!
Can't take the Helium voices.
All songs too long. CMAR is ok; not much else.
Really tough to listen to. How this bounced Beyonce into superstardom is odd. Crappy songs, crappy lyrics...just ugh.
Rubbish.
Not good.
Not bad. Not really good, either.
Let's not go crazy here. Songs are too long, and meh.
Dolly is cool. However, listening to the entire album, that voice does irritate.
“Blondie” A bands name has perhaps never been so important to its success. Just can’t get into it. Blah.
Better than expected. Kinda fun.
Good stuff in there.
The feels. 😁
I like this band, but did not feel this album.
What the crap did I just listen to? Awful.
People who try too hard on these reviews are annoying. It feels wrong to go less than 3, and this album is just boring enough not to warrant more.
Absolutely mediocre at best. Odd lead singing voice does not appeal to me. Enough of this band...ugh.
Tremendous!!!!
I know, it's Nick Cave. Rubbish, nonetheless.
Eh.
Its really bad...between 1-2 stars, but I'm feeling generous and elect to round up to 2.
Lots of HYPE, it’s not bad by any means. But let’s not go crazy. Not that great either. 3 fits.
just not quite a 3 star albs.
not my vibe
lacks good songs
Sorry, not giving it a bloated rating because BOWIE. This album is weak.
Lol...another late stage Bowie that really isn't good? come on.
borderline horrible. eugh.
Q-tip cannot command an entire album. Nothing special here.
Legendary sitar work, but its still a 2.
Overrated. Full stop.
Never dug Queen. This album didn't help.
Redundant.
Very cool that Johnny did this. The record itself is ok, but the idea behind it - fantastic.
Dreadful.
A bit of a goofy sound to it. Meh.
I found this to be annoying. First track is ok, but too long, and the album fades from there.
Cool, though redundant.
holy crap make it stop
not impressed
Legendary.
generally horrible.
First of all, absolutely terrible band name. Tried to get into the album, which I could not.
Count me among those that just don't 'get it' with Dylan. But hey, if nasal droning is your thing, you're in for a nice ride.
2 tracks were cool....
It's just hard to comprehend the accolades, peaking at #1, certified 9x platinum, best selling album of 2003 and number 280 on RS top 500 songs list. What is wrong with us!?! No disrespect, but this shit just isn't good.
Black Thought is perhaps the most underrated rapper in the game. He is top notch, but I’m not as hyped about the rest.
Legs = fire.
Apologies in advance, but I just don't get it with Bowie. I've tried, and tried again. And again, with this album. Not for me.
I don't get it.
good but not great songs.
this doesn't appeal to me
good voice, bad everything else
what did i just listen to??
Hard to believe that this masterpiece was released in 1986. Loved it then, and still love it now. 🤘🏻
Ridiculous.
Crap.
kinda cool, definitely interesting
I've tried, lord knows I've tried to appreciate Joy Division. I want to like Joy Division, but at my core, I just don't. This album solidified that notion.
Its okay, but when would I actually listen to this? Never.
Feels like a 3 to me.
It ain't bad.
Annoying AF.
Another hackneyed Bowie album? Ugh.
Cool name. Thats about it.
I mean this just illustrates the bullshit music industry for what it is. Oh let me go to Africa for two weeks so the corporate record label can have an orgasm. This is crap, and it really put me into a shit mood.
Couple solid songs here...1980 - wow...let's give them credit for producing on their own. Raw sound works well.
Not for me.
too intense man.
Meh.
This is a breakthrough album...it almost broke through to a negative rating.
Suckage.
Third time giving this a go. Annoying.
Holy crap this is so annoying and bland and repetitive.
Negative points for the songs that unnecessarily go on forever. Prince, like Bowie, sorry not gonna upvote just because.
its ok, like 2.44444444
Outstanding. I remember loving this when it came out - I was in 4th grade and did not possibly understand the innuendo OR over sexual nature of the album, but it sure sounded fun. It still does. I never got into any other Prince album like this one. Purple Rain, still reigns.
not memorable
i mean it does have two songs that everyone knows, somehow. But the rest of the songs are really hard to listen to. So 2.4321 it is.
Could not get into this, did not feel it at all.
Utter rubbish from a "has been." Just because an 80s/90s sexual pop star puts out an album (or, album after hackneyed album), doesn't make it good, or even listenable. Gee whiz, artists should be held to a higher standard. These are the albums that make me absolutely abhor corporate record label horsesh*t.
Nope.
Eugh.
This album did not age well, and it is not good to begin with.
Why? Why? Why?
bad.
this is what this list is about. fun, different, unique.
not for me
snoozefest... ike they felt obligated to make an album.
best NIN album. outstanding.
to follow up Siamese dream with this incredible double album was quite impressive. Great production, great guitars, Billy really found his groove.
No need for an album whose only purpose is to annoy you.
Kanye has good, and maybe great albums. This is not one of them.
more annoying than cool
"Husker Don't."
it ranges from a peak of mediocre to a low of annoying af. dos estrellas.
not feelin' these guys. Tried a bunch.
solid rock album. strong guitar and good energy.
Absolutely incredible. One of my favorite albums of all time. St. Jimmy!!!!
Rich and famous, yet produces shite music. Go figure.
repetitive. its okay, but can really get annoying
Expected more. 3 stars waned to 2 as this album continued.
On 4/14/46 Mel Ott hit home run number 511, the final one of his career.
disappointing
Brilliant.
Irritating.
This music is irritating. Just not feeling it.
I love this.
not good
