Duck Rock
Malcolm McLarenFunny album. Quite hard to decide if I like it or not but it's fairly pleasant to listen to.
Funny album. Quite hard to decide if I like it or not but it's fairly pleasant to listen to.
Fantastic album. It starts with a phone ring and then punches straight into Hanging on the telephone. One of the best "intros" of any album. The album continues with a mix of punk and new wave, fast and slow. All in all, a very well put together album.
Surprisingly good, I didn't rate the darkness when they came out but in retrospect this is actually a fantastic album
Fantastic debut album by one of the greatest hard rock bands. Starts strong with Prowler, a great riff. Slow down with Remember tomorrow before punching into Running free followed quickly by another classic track Phantom of the opera. A couple of "album tracks" follow before the great Charlotte and finale with the title track. A great album, well put together, it all flows smoothly. It was clear, with this album, in 1980 that Iron Maiden were going to be big.
A little Meh. There was nothing bad about the album, the tunes were pleasant enough but nothing inspired me to listen again. I found the vocals "whiney" on most tracks. Fine for background music
Hip hop is not really my thing but the album was interesting to listen to. Plenty of attitude and each track is punchy.
Classic rock album, from the very first sound of the bell to the last not, it rocks throughout. The are no weak tracks.
Nothing good to say, parts of the album sounded like a children's musical.
Good album, better than The Beatles' earlier stuff
I suppose this is OK for the genre, I found it a bit discordant - samples cut at the wrong point are uncomfortable to listen to.
Not bad as a debut, a bit dated now but still quite listenable
A bit boring really. Not sure why this is a "must listen" album. Perhaps it was more hard hitting 20 years ago?
Funny album. Quite hard to decide if I like it or not but it's fairly pleasant to listen to.
Good album, good tracks that keep the interest. I feel is loses it's way a little near the end but the first half is solid R&B
Great album, solid performance by the king, no weak tracks with great ones scattered through
A bit dated, so-so
Great, raw punk sound.
Meh! Not bad, not good, just background noise
Soul is not really my thing but this was pleasant, some good tracks, strong vocals
Musically great, some very good tracks the whole album flows well. However, I feel the whole thing is ruined by Morrissey's whiney vocals and inane lyrics. I couldn't see why the Smiths were popular at the time and still can't see it now.
Surprisingly good
Not my thing, background noise only
A pleasant album, a few tracks stand out. A good example of the genre
A bit strange, can't quite place the genre but pleasant enough to listen to
Great album
Awful
All sounds the same, boring
Absolute s***. Sounds like a bunch of preschool kids have broken into the music room. First album I didn't even finish. First album that gets 1* This album is nothing more than discordant noise.
Pretty middle of the road, nice if you like this kind of pop
Classic album, every track is good
Great album. Quite a distinctive style.
Nice, very "Rolling stones" A bit dated now but still listenable
Quite frankly, a bit whiney and boring. Nothing wrong with it as background music but it just drones on with nothing to catch my attention.
Great rock n roll It's a pity I heard the 2005 release which has the crowd cut back, lessening the live feel of the album but still rockin'
Naff I can't stand Nice Cave's voice, the only redeeming features of this album are the tracks where someone else sings. A few good cuts (ignoring the voice) but nothing special, won't listen again
Crap, that's all!
So so, not a bad album but I'm not sure why it's special Pleasant listening
What a great voice and good songs
OK album, not really my thing,
Quite pleasant piano playing
nice music, not a fan of the vocals but a reasonable album
A surprising find, Roxy music is before my time so I was only familiar with their later work. This album starts strongly, great first side - edgy and new sounds The second side really lets it down though, it seems to lose it's way a little side 1 = 4* but side 2 only 3*
Fantastic album. It starts with a phone ring and then punches straight into Hanging on the telephone. One of the best "intros" of any album. The album continues with a mix of punk and new wave, fast and slow. All in all, a very well put together album.
Ok
Not bad, not my favourite kinks album
Dismal' horrible vocals, whiney, found it difficult to listen to the whole album
Nice
A bit boring really. Prince has some real great stuff (Purple Rain for example) but I found this album just so-so.
Good album, keeps rockin' along Probably not my Favourite Bowie but good enough to listen to again
Whiney vocals, poor production, generally adolescent. Maybe an album for your teenage kids
Nice folk album, all good tracks.
OK I guess, didn't really do it for me Pretty standard example of the genre, not bad but not special
Meh! Pretty average folk album, nothing special Linda's voice is much better IMO than her husband making her tracks my favourite
A miserable effort, LH can't sing and the music is boring and dreary
Good enough
Nice, I always liked Rod Stewart and this album is partly RS, partly bluesy rock.
Surprisingly good, I'm not a jazz person normally but this album was pleasant to listen to. Rondo... and Take 5 are both great tracks
After yesterday's surprise jazz album I'm firmly back hating jazz This album is a complete waste of time
Good
Not my favourite Bowie album but good enough
Great voice, good album
Meh! Hip hop is really not my thing. Some is OK, this is average, nothing special at all
Really boring The first track is OK, but then it's just more of the same
Great debut, full of classic tracks
Same as usual, Bob can write songs but ruins them with his singing. And this album I don't even rate the songs....
Nice light album Nothing special IMO but easy to listen to
Good rock n roll
Nice
Boring derivative rubbish
Strangely soothing, albeit depressing at the same time. Not usually my taste but I found the album captivating
Pleasant album, not really ground breaking but easy enough to listen to
Good
Nice swing album The popular hits are great, some of the other tracks are a bit samey but still pleasant
Not great
Pretty boring folk, nothing good or bad about it
Quite pleasant rock album - easier to listen to than some of U2's other offerings
Excellent album, probably my favourite by The Pogues Each track is superb
Ok
Pleasant country stuff Nothing great but nice enough
A bit boring I found
OK, pleasant but really not my thing
I thought this was a little dull Not bad but nothing stood out
Nice, some good tracks
Ok, a good idea but a bit samey, not Metallica's best stuff A bit disappointing really as I was hoping for more
Music OK, lyrics OK, Totally ruined by Morrissey's crap voice Musically not as good as the queen is dead
Not bad
Good solid punk album. Some great tracks, some also rans Hangs together well
Meh, pretty boring, middle of the road, pop/rock Nothing to write home about (or listen to again)
Pleasant, some nice tracks, a few duds Could have used one or two slightly more upbeat tracks to lift it
Jolly Christmas collection, not the best I've heard (or the worst), nothing at all to make this one stand out
OK, resonable punk
A bit Meh!
Average
Nice, soothing R&B
Born to run - great track The rest - a bit boring
Very pleasant, 3 great singers and some good songs
Middle of the road, pleasant sounding but boring
Great album, a little dated but stick worth a listen Side one is great with some classic tracks Side two I felt loses it a little but still good - too short
A bit boring, I really don't like this vocal style
Not too bad, a bit pedestrian but listenable
Great album, even though pop isn't really my thing Some great tracks, whole thing fits together well Quite a step up for Robbie from Take That
Meh! A bit wishy washy, nothing bad as background music but I wouldn't listen to this unless I was in an elevator
What a great voice, lovely album
OK but a bit samey - It seemed to rumble along with no tracks standing out The one exception is "hurt" but I think this was done better my Johnny Cash
Quite good, a bit dated now and I'm personally not a big fan of the vocals but still a reasonable album
A bit weird, some different genres in there too Pleasant though
Awful Terrible voice, whiney songs, nothing at all good to say about this album
Not bad, I'm not a fan of the "shouty" tracks but there are some good cuts that any sung "properly" - heart shaped box, dumb, all apologies Not quite as good as Nevermind IMO but still a fine album
Not my thing
Fantastic album. No bad tracks, some great ones The album flows well and is a pleasure to listen to Still not bored after the 4th or 5th repeat
Shite Awful vocals, dismay tune Only the 2nd album I couldn't even listen to the end
Pretty lame Only one good song (higher ground) and I've heard many better covers of that
OK, a bit dated Probably as good as the beatles so-so stuff
Meh, standard rap type album, not bad, not especially good
Fantastic album, a classic Good structure, starts with a blast, some mellow tracks in the middle and ends on the haunting Hallowed... 40 years on and still one of the best
Not too bad, stands a few listens but not quite a 5 Has some great, well known tracks
Surprisingly good
Another classic album
Nice, great voice, a little pedestrian though
Ok but not great
A bit lame, not my cup of tea
nice pleasant 60s sound, some great tracks on there
Nice, pleasant soul music
Dreamy I didn't like it on the first listen but it grew on me. It is a bit samey though, nothing really stands out
nice, I like Abba and this album is more "mature" than some of their earlier work.
Good album. A nice mix of rock and folk. Not as punchy as LZ4 but well worth a listen
Very middle of the road, not good, not bad, just ok background music
Not my favourite Bowie album, a bit meh!
Some great tunes
Not really my thing but OK I guess
Surprisingly good, never heard of them before but itwas a good effort
Excellent, Queen are one of the best rock bands and this is one of the best Queen albums No bad tracks at all, several fantastic ones. The whole album swings to and fro with ease. It's a masterpiece
Dull!
Not really my thing, a few nice tracks
I'm not a big rap fan and this didn't seem like a good example of the genre Last couple of tracks were ok but I'd already lost interest by then
Excellent effort, plenty of classic tracks, raw power all the way through
Fantastic album The title track is awesome and deserves a 5 all by itself
Nice, a bit dated but the kinks are pretty timeless so still worth a listen
Hmm, a bit weird. A bit like the wall/Tommy but not really as good as either Ok I guess
I really can't stand this kind of music This is only the 2nd album I couldn't even listen to the end
Nice album, not sure why it's a "must listen" though
Boring I'm usually a fan of folk type stuff but this was just drab
Dull, slow plodding vocals that go nowhere. Nothing more than background music
Started good, unfortunately didn't get any better, or any different. Pretty much turned off halfway as it was just droning on with more of the same.
Drab! I really don't rate NC's vocals, and this album is just derivative drivel. No good songs, all just tat
Great rock n roll
Disappointing The album started strong with "1969" and "I wanna be your dog", it then just collapsed. "We will fall" is just awful and the album never really picks up after that
Meh, not really my kind of music and, IMO, not a good example of the genre It wasn't bad, just not good
Not sod bad, not my favourite Who album but listenable
Not bad, a bit samey but fun to listen to
Great album
An all time classic album, plenty of great tracks, no bad ones. Hangs together well
Not really my thing but OK, a bit drab (I know that's the point but...) All a bit samey
OK, pleasant but not really my thing
I think I need more LSD to find this album good Pity, I really like the later Pink Floyd (Dark side.., the Wall, etc) but this was just crap
Surprisingly good, never really got into these guys at the time but this album holds up fairly well. It starts strong although it got a bit non descript after the first few tracks
A bit Meh!
Not really my thing. Pleasant enough but nothing stands out. I couldn't pick any song out of a line up
Good album
First few tracks pleasant ambient music, the second side slightly less so and Hero (a track wikipedia claims is influential) is just crap! Not a great album IMO
so so, can't say it grabbed me. Nothing at all wrong with it but a little lack lustre. Pity as BB king is a fine musician
I'm not a big rap fan. This was just run of the mill sweary rap. Nothing good about it at all, background music at best.
Fair, nothing special but pleasant to listen to
Boring
shite!
I couldn't listen to half of this (due to spotify licensing?) What I heard was OK but not special
Surprisingly good, I didn't rate the darkness when they came out but in retrospect this is actually a fantastic album
Dull
|Not really my thing, nothing wrong with it but I wouldn't listen again
Interesting, not too bad
Pleasant but a bit boring, not really special
Great album, no bad tracks
Not bad at all, blues is not really my thing but this album was very "listenable" for a beginner
Not bad at all. I wasn't a fan when this first came out as this didn't fit with my tastes at the time. In retrospect, it sounds OK. A number of great tracks, Rent, and ..Sin and the rest fit in ok
Not my thing, ok but a bit samey and boring
Excellent album, no bad tracks, all just flows through. Ends on one of my favourite Who tracks (Don't get fooled again)
Great album, no bad tracks, all runs together nicely I can't believe I missed these guys first time around
Quite good, only one bad track and a few classics. It's- a bit mainstream but a good listen
Nice
No, sorry - can't do jazz Just noise
Fantastic debut album by one of the greatest hard rock bands. Starts strong with Prowler, a great riff. Slow down with Remember tomorrow before punching into Running free followed quickly by another classic track Phantom of the opera. A couple of "album tracks" follow before the great Charlotte and finale with the title track. A great album, well put together, it all flows smoothly. It was clear, with this album, in 1980 that Iron Maiden were going to be big.
Lovely album, flows well and no bad tracks.
Not really my thing but it sounds ok, a few good tracks and some duds
Not my thing Pleasant enough, nothing special IMO
OK, not really special but nice tunes
Great album, mostly good tracks
Pleasant but pretty dull, Dreamer is the only track that sticks in my head, the rest is just background
OK, not my favourite Elvis album
Err... what's the point of this album It's not bad, it's not good, it's not anything It is, almost literally, background noise. The soundtrack from a B movie, you wouldn't remember the movie and would be surprised to know it even had a sound track
Not my thing, pretty boring really
Nice. Very mainstream but a pleasant listen. Dreams is the best track IMO but the others are all good, if not brilliant
Fine thrash metal album. No bad tracks and runs together well.
A little samey. Easy enough to listen to but I doubt I'd listen twice
Meh! Sounds dated and, quite frankly, naff.
Boring
A bit samey, didn't really click with me. wouldn't listen again
OK, didn't do much for me but solid enough album
Nice musically, an improvement on The Smiths. As always, ruined by Morrissey's whiney voice and style. Replace him and it'd be 5 stars!
Not too bad, not at all my kind of music. I found it easy to listen to but not special
Not my thing, found it boring and naff. Not really rock, not really folk, not really anything I wanted to listen to
Not Metallica's best but a good album nonetheless. "One" is a classic and "Dyer's Eve" a flat out fret race. Metallica certainly experimented some after Lightning and Puppets, not especially to my taste but I salute their bravery.
Great album. Very strong start, fades a little from there but still good tracks
Fair. Probably easier to listen to than some rap Not my thing
Great album, some good rock hits and my favourite CCR track (Up around..)
Pleasant but not really my thing
Great as always, a bunch of Johnny Cash classics with some great tracks I didn't feel that the "live" part really added anything though, little atmosphere came across on the album
Meh! Fine as elevator music but I'm not sure why I would choose to listen to this, it's just background sound.
M'eh, nothing special
Not the best Beatles album IMO, there are a few good cuts but it jumps around a bit and no real coherence as an album.
Not great, I trudged through the double album, bearable but nothing to grab my attention
Great album, most tracks are good
Starts a bit dull but picks up. Not my kind of music, a bit dreary but OK to listen to
Good tracks, possibly one of RS's best. It's a bit dated though, maybe it's the 1960,s technology but it sounds drab and lack lustre. Still, worth a listen
nice album, not the kind of music that usually does it for my but easy to listen to (mostly) and fun. I think it loses it's way a little near the end, "Joy" being appalling noise which I barely managed to listen to all the way through
What a great album. The Stooges are new the me and a great find. I didn't find anything spectacular that stood out on this album, just 7 solid tracks. A pleasure to listen to
Not bad
Not my kind of music but this was good. Most tracks are good
Nice sounds but a bit whiney for my taste, this genre is not my cup of tea at all kd has a great voice and that carries the album to some extent but to me its just background music, good for a BBQ maybe?
Interesting, swings and roundabouts with some good tracks and some awful ones. The album feels a little disjointed and is more a collection of songs rather than a coherent unit.
Great album,
A bit pedestrian
Pleasant
Great tunes
Great album, not really my thing but easy to listen to
Not bad, didn't really pop for me but easy to listen to
A surprise win, missed this first time round but it's a pleasant album
Started strong but faded about half way. I really don't like the vocals and, other than the main single ("..dance floor..") nothing stood out at all
I'm sorry but I can't abide jazz I'm sure this is a good example but, uurgh!
Great album from a pure genius. This is not really my favourite genre of music but I still fgind it easy to listen to with some good tracks and some great ones
Great album from a pure genius. This is not really my favourite genre of music but I still fgind it easy to listen to with some good tracks and some great ones
Why? I can't say why this album is in here It's not bad, it's not good, it's just background noise
An interesting band, whilst this might be where they started I found it lesser than Toxicity. It's fair enough but no tracks stood out at all
Strange! Nothing wrong with the actual music, Isaac does a good job of the covers but only 4 tracks? and 10 mins of pointless waffle before "By the time..." Why would anyone want to listen to that?
Not bad, Dylan's a great songwriter (but awful singer). Like a rolling stone is the classic track from this album and the other cuts are fine, if not great All in all, a good effort
Great comeback album, hangs together well and all the tracks are good
Great album, I had the US version so missed some fo the cuts here.
Great man, great album. Unlike the previous "live from a jail" album, this one actually adds something to the tracks with the banter, etc. I do have to question why "San Quentin" was recorded twice back to back - there is little difference between the two and it seems a poor decision
Pleasant but I just don't dig jazz
Pretty middle of the road, not good or bad, just pop
Not at all my thing To me, just standard rap, nothing special
Great album, no bad tracks and all works well
Pleasant sounds, quite easy to listen to
Ugh! Dismay, dreary, depressing - I didn't even finish the album (only the 2nd time) Life is too short for this album
A bit dull
Jolly, easy listening
Fantastic album. No rocket science, nothing ground breaking, just solid rock done well. A little dated now but still stands up
A bit crap! I really don't like Nick Cave and this is just a dismal juvenile effort. It brings to mind a bunch of unwashed teenagers in their mom's basement
Hip hop not really my thing but run dmc are ok to listen to Seems a bit basic, little depth to the music. Only one song popped out "Like that" and I've heard better versions
A bit weird, not bad but nothing special
Not really my thing, a bit dull
Beautiful peaceful album
Hmm I've never been a fan of Syd Barret. The best thing that ever happened to Pink Floyd was his leaving. Whilst this album is slightly better than the early PF work, it's still weird and not to my taste at all. I would place it in the genre of "drug addled". Probably sounds better if you're as off your head as Syd must have been at the time.
OK, easy to listen to
Not my thing, not the worst I've heard
Great music
Interesting, a bit weird in places but generally OK. Pleasant to listen to
Great album, no bad tracks and a few great ones
A bit dull
Great album, EJ has never been an artist I've listened to even though he's always been there in the background. This is a great album that I wish I'd discover earlier
Another noise album Hard to find any musical merit in this one, sounds like teenagers in a garage playing with Dad's instruments.
Awful voice, musically not so bad but TW can't sing so ruins the whole album
Sweet but a bit boring I think
Ok, a bit middle of the road but easy to listen to
nice album
Ok but not really my thing
Good stuff, a real gem
Ok but not my thing I don't hate it but can't see why I'd choose to listen to this
Nice, good solid music, doesn't even sound dated
A bit meh, other than the single (Clint Eastwood), very little is memorable
OK
Great album
I can't say I really took to this album, other than the great title track, it is a bit off the wall and not to my taste
OK
Not too bad, nothing jumped out at me though
Great, raw punk sound
Surprisingly good, not what I would have normally listened to but very easy
Fun album
I'm not a fan of R&B and this was not a good example Lost another star for the pointless spoken work bits Music or political speech, .pick one!
Nice, easy listening
Great stuff
Surprisingly good, country's not really my thing but who doesn't like Dolly?
Nice rockin' album, JLL is great live It was a little short though, 22m is half what I expect from an album
Jolly album, a few great cuts
Nice, sweet sax music
Not bad, a bit dated but jolly music for the time
Sweet smooth sounds, very cool
Great stuff,
Sweet but a bit boring
Dreary and dull, difficult to listen to
Excellent album
Nice
Notreally my thing but pleasant enough
Whiney, crap, hated it
Hip hop is not my thing but this was listenable
Fantastic stuff, jaunty, fun and very easy to listen to
Good solid rock album
Meh, OK but a bit short (lots of reapeated tracks) and a bit dated
Great album, good solid pop
Dismal vocals ruin the whole album, otherwise the music is OK
Good solid rock album
A bit dated
Excellent stuff, not many of the "favourites" on this album but good solid madness
Ok
Not really a fan, a bit boring
Dull!
Boring nothing good on this double album at all
A little bit lame, none of the power and hard hitting songs of previous albums. Not bad just not good
What a waste of time, this album is awful, boring and IMO a poor example of the genre (which I don't really go for anyway)
Lovely album, easy to listen to
Disappointing, I really expected more from this. NS is a great artist but I found this album lacklustre and generally poor
Crap! - boring dreary rubbish, why is this even here
Interesting, very dated but nice to listen to
Fantastic, ABBA always hitthe mark and this is a great example of their work
Very disappointed School's out is a great anthem but I'm afraid the rest of the album is dull and uninspiring. There's nothing really bad, just nothing good A real shame
Crap! Childish shouty lyrics, what I would expect from a angsty teenager who would no doubt realize when they'd grown up, how immature they sounded. Musically poor and generally an unpleasant listen
Dated
Never really my thing but pleasant enough.
Good solid rock album
A bit so-so to be honest. This album may be a little more sophisticated that previous ones but lacks the power. Born To Run is full of great anthems and is just fun. I found this album to be just background music, fine during dinner or at a club while you're busy doing something else but I wouldn't listen to it for itself
Good album, great opening track Good solid rock although now a little dated
Not my thing, OK I guess but wouldn't listen again
OK
Not too bad, a bit middle of the road but listenable
Great metal album, from the melodic intro to the powerful last track. No bad tracks and some great ones
OK, not really my thing but good enough to listen to
A bit boring, nothing caught my attention at all, easy listening but no real point
Great album, a number of classic tracks and all very easy to listen to
A little dull
Quite surprising, a fun album with some good tracks Not my usual choice but I would listen again
Crap! I don't really like house, this was boring and pointless noise
Not my thing, nothing really stood out here
Great album, some good tracks and a few great ones The Pogues never dissappoint
A bit mainstream for me
Good debut, a bit of a mix but nothing bad - Solbury Hill is the best and good choice for the single
OK
strange but surprisingly OK
Great concept album
Great album, so many fanstastic tracks and some good covers Nothing bad at all on this album
Dull
Pleasant, strong start to the album but gets a little samey
A bit drab. I also found the recording quality poor, the sound was dull. Apart from PiP, the album was forgettable
OK but a bit boring
Not too bad, not really my thing but more listenable than much of this genre
Boring, not my thing and nothing to make me want to listen at all
Not at all my thing, a bit dull and repetetive. I don't really dig hip hop and this didn't seem to be a great example of the genre
Naff I really don't like the vocals and the music was just midde of the road Nothing to see here!
Good album, no classic tracks but solid
A little dissappointing, ok punk but nothing special
Surprisingly good, not usually my thing but a good example Got a bit samey after a strong start though
Surprisingly good. A little samey but some strong tunes.
Interesting In terms of an album to listen to, it was a bit distracting with the spoken track
Lovely sounds, very soothing
Good rock album, a bit shouty and gets a bit samey but good enough to listen to
Good solid 80s Rock, the released tracks are good and the fillers are OK AHA have a nice sound, very 80s but different enough to make them stand out
Good, solid punk. The starnglers are very much their own style.
yeah, yeah Not bad but nothing special
good
Boring
Strong start, faded a little towards the end but a solid rock album
Nothing special,
OK, some good tracks
Reasonable standard rock
Meh
Not my thing, ok I guess but nothing special
Ok, not very special though, just background music
OK
Not too bad, a fe good cuts
Yeah, not really my kind of music. Not bad I guess but nothing jumped out at me, nothing I'd listen to twice
Sweet sounds, not really my thing but easy to listen to
Nice background sounds but wouldn't listen again
Good solid thrash album, a great sound. Pantera really have taken over from Metallica when they "changed their sound" This album starts really strong but seems to lose its way a little, still good but not as punchy as the start
Pleasant enough but very dated, the album just screams 70s Some good cuts though and easy to listen to
Very disappointing. Vocal were like the Stranglers but the music was not as good. A bit shouty and generally poor. I wouldn't listen to this again
Pleasant enough but not my thing
Pleasant but a bit boring I found. Brim full.. is a great song but was so overplayed at the time of release that it irritates me still.
A bit dated, OK but nothing special I thought Track one was strong but album dwindled from there
Great album, stong throughout
Sweet album, some great tracks, very easy to listen to Marlene... is one of my favourites
Good blues album, plenty of good songs.
OK, good solid Rock/Pop
Good
Bloody awful! Nasty voice, lame songs, one of the few albums I couldn't listen all the way through
Good, polished album. some greate tracks. I feel it lost its way a little about halfway but the first half is cracking
Crap! I don't particularly like rap and I thought this was a poor example The whole albem sounded dull and lacklustre and a bit flat
Surprisingly OK
Jolly and easy to listen to
nice enough, a few classics, good listen
Ok, jolly, easy to listen to
OK, a bit dated
Didn't like it at all, it was droney and boring
Can't stand Jazz. There's nothing wrong with it except it's boring. this is probably a gcood example but I couldn't get to the end of the album it was so pointless
Pleasant, a few classics but a bit pedestrian. Some of the lyrics don't age well (homophobic references)
jolly enough, not my thing but I can see how, if you like this stuff, it's a good example of the genre
Good album, some classics and no bad tracks
OK
Great album, not dated at all
Great album, a real find
A bit dated but OK
OK
Nice, dance is not really my thing but this was easy to listen to
Good stuff
Nice, easy listening (which is probably the point) I felt something was missing though As I'm right out of Ganja
Great album, chilled
Awesome rock album, a real find
Not at all my kind of thing, didn,'t listen to whole album, dismal
Dull and dreary, didn't even finish listening. The album isn't bad, it isn't good, it's just pointless
OK, wasn't expecting classic but pleasant enough
Nope!
OK, ntot my thing but I can actually listen to it
Surprisingly ok, sounds a bit childish but jolly tunes and easy to listen to
OK, nice sound but very samey, it drags on a bit
Ok but a bit pedestrian Nothing special
Nah, standard rap, pretty boring
Samey and iritating after a while, starts off OK but can't listen to the whole album
Not bad, jazz isn't my thing but this was easy enough to listen to
Interesting, quite jolly
Good album, Geno is a great track and there are no bad ones
OK, good at the time but seems a little dated now Some good tunes
Great punk album
Awful, couldin't finish the album. Real drab rubbish
A bit pointless, didn't realy hit a chord with me
Jazz is not really my thing but this was jolly and easy to listen to. Good background music but I doubt I'd listen for the music itself
Good effort, some of their best tracks
Good soul music but get's a bitboring as the album progresses
Nah! Some of this is OK but jazz is not my thing and some is a little wierd The spoken parts add little to the album
So so, Street life is great track but the rest are a bit meh
Nice voice
Dreary!
Utter crap! Discordant, not really music but noise - not impressed at all
Failed experiment! Pretty crap and drab, not very musical and difficult to listen to. The spoken word poem is a pointless addition
Good stuff, captured the zeitgeist
Fantastic album, no bad tracks, all good stuff
Boring, awful vocals, nothing good to say about this album
Jolly, easy to listen to, not really my thing
Meh, jolly and easy to listen to but nothing special
Great album, ground breaking at the time and still good today
Good stuff
Good stuff, greate guitar album
OK, a bit dated
Ok but nothing special, not really mby thing Background music, nothing more
A bit dissappointing, not bad but not great
Good solid rock album, not their best IMO but still a good listen
Not too shoddy, a bit Meh in my opinion apart from Another Planet... which stands out as by far the best track
Classic album, good solid southern rock
Not my thing but easy listening, not so bad at all
Ok, very dated
Great debut album, not a bad track.
Not bad, surprisingly easy to listen to
A pleasant album, easy to listen to. I never really understood the fuss about AW, she sounds good but nothing special IMO. Anyway, good album, worth a listen
Rubbish!
A bit dismay
Fantastic album, no bad tracks, all classics
I found this a bit boring and dull
pleasant enough but not my thing
OK,
Ok I guess, Step on has memories but a bit lame really
Awful
Ok
Pretty lame. Reggae is not really my thing and this was not IMO a good example
Pretty average hip hop, not my thing
fair enough if you like Brazilian music, not really my taste though
Not bad, some good raw punk Not a fan of this kind of vocals though
OK
I'm not a big fan of blues so maybe I couldn't appreciate this album. To me it was just background music, nothing special. Nothing wrong with it but I wouldn't listen again
Meh, never been a fan of CP, seems pretty pedestrian
a bit lame, spellbound is good but the album seems to peter away after that, dissappointed
Sweet album
so so, a bit pedestrian, pleasant enough but a bit boring
Not my thing
Not too bad, good to listen to but I doubt I'd rush out and buy it
Good solid punk album.
Good album
OK, a little dated. Probably ground breaking at the time and still a solid rock album but sadly not really standing the test of time
Nice
A bit pointless, a colllection of unrelated tracks. Nothing bad, nothing special but doesn't hang together as a collection
Great album
pleasant but a bit backgroundy
a bit lame, very dated
Pleasant enough, a bit dull
OK, pleasant but not really special
OK, not really my thing but pleasant and easy to listen to
Marvellous Marvin Gaye - Nothing bad about this, not usually my thing but very nice to listen to
ok, reasonable punk
Not bad, I'm not a real rap fan but I've heard much worse
Sweet album, a little dated but still stands up
Great album, plenty of good tunes
meh
Surprisingly good, very easy to listen to
OK, a bit dated, good energy in the music but a little tame
Very nice
Meh, a bit boring TBH
Jolly, ok but nothing special
Nice easy light rock
Not my thing but pleasant enough
Title track OK, the rest of the album is an also ran, a bit boring
