Had every intention of giving this a go, but it was terrible.

Was ok. Listened a few times. Wouldn't particularly listen again.

Dated.
Fine.
Nice, bit of a departure from the norm.
Very good
Nice
Fine but nothing stood out personally.
Not for me
An easy 5

Beautiful album
Nice surprise.

Will be worth another listen
Listenable, just nothing standout
Neither here nor there
Already a favourite
Very good.
Probably needed a few more listens
Not for me
Needs the right time and place
Pop pap.
Easy 4
One great song, one really annoying. The rest is meh.
Very good
Not for me
Liked it.
Very good
Not normally my thing but enjoyed it nonetheless
Good album with two great songs.
Couple of decent songs, greatest hits album would be a better listen
Superb. Maybe even a 5
Pleasant surprise.
Loved it. Will be listening again.
Easy 5
Not my style of music but I could listen quite easily
Sublime
Solid. Few more good songs on it than I remember.
Pop pap.
Absolutely fine. Not sure it'll join the rotation though.
Probably a good three. Definitely a time and place album.
Nudges a 4. I'll definitely listen again.
Feels like music for people who don't like music.
Strange inclusion for me. Listenable and even enjoyable, but would have been dated at the time and probably should have been left where it was.
Like most Dire Straits albums, pretty good with one absolute cracker of a track.
Unexpected cracker.
Harsh 2. Nostalgia scale must be off the chart for some but it's just an ok from me.
Dire.
Fantastic, a very easy listen.
Pogues are great but a full album is a bit of a job.
Pop pap.
This is the sound of 80's America. Probably should be more than a 3 as the classic tracks still sound amazing, felt the rest of the album has dated a bit.
Amazing album then and still is today.
I was ready to not like this but I did. Definitely listen again and could be a 4.
Easy
Has points where it sounds good but not many. Id rather listen to the studio stuff.
Very raw performance, surprised me.
Unexpectedly enjoyed this.
Bounced between a 2 and a 4. I doubt I'll listen again but can see how this would have been very influential.
A grudging 4. Theres no denying that this was an epic reinvention of a band and that the album is full of great tracks. My dislike of the band and particularly Bono shouldn't really colour the review, so a 4 it is.
Sneaky 3. I was ready to give a 2 but as an album it works better than the individual songs. Doubtful I'll listen again though which is normally a prerequisite for a 3.
Like Intervention, the rest is so so.
Nice surprise. Not what I was expecting but did enjoy it..... I think.
Enjoyable experience and a very interesting album. Could probably be a four with a bit more time spent with it.
Cited as a classic for a reason. Quite beautiful.
An unexpected pleasure.
Had every intention of giving this a go, but it was terrible.
I enjoyed this very much and a couple of songs are on playlists. Don't know if it's just the Spotify version but over an hour is a bit much though, so marked down to a 3.
Hits in more ways than one 🙏🏼.
Better than I thought it would be.
Too long to really get into.
This probably should be a 4 but I don't really think I'll be back for a listen. Really nothing wrong at all, in fact enjoyed it enough. Just not special or different.
