Reviews (page 7 of 7)

Dance is nooi helemaal mijn ding geweest.

Not a big fan of electronic.

Not bad but a bit too long and nothing amazing IMO

Started off alright. Very long and repetitive songs. Really dragged along.

This is what neo from the matrix would listen to. Kinda cool though

This may be the most meh album I've ever listened to. I have no opinion of it. Like no part of it was good or bad. It just was. It's like something that would be playing quietly in the background for the sole purpose of making sure people weren't sitting in silence, handcuffed to their thoughts.

House album so tracks are long. And its house music from the mid 90s, so it all feels like the backing tracks to the club scene from blade. The best parts of the album are when it leans into its afro inspired samples, but these beats just sound dated and stale. I am sure at the time this shit was ground breaking but now its just dull. very dull

EDM falls under the umbrella of functional music, along with movie soundtracks and Muzak, music meant to accompany an experience, like dancing in a club, watching a movie, or going to the airport. Nothing wrong with that, but by it's very nature, functional music is not usually meant for close listening. There are exceptions of course. Mouse on Mars or We come to mind in the realm of EDM, the works of Ennio Morricone or Jerry Goldsmith in film music, or Brian Eno's Music for Airports in ambient, the latter which has since blossomed into a full-blown genre divorced from its original function. Come to think of it, Mouse on Mars or We are categorized as IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), which can be read as an acknowledgement of the brainlessness of most dance music. Which leads us to Leftism. As usual, simplistic jackhammer beats overwhelm the music, although there is a patina of style and atmosphere laid over the tracks. I appreciate the eclecticism of including dub, reggae, and Johnny Rotten on these tracks, and there is some taste in the production (few cringe-inducing synth patches), but not enough to overcome the inherent limitations of the material, as explained above. I can imagine half paying attention to the musical content while dancing in a club with hundreds of other people and being okay with it, which is kind of a half-hearted endorsement. There's nothing here which is truly offensive, but as a standalone musical experience? Get me outta here!

I've never heard of this before but my gut instinct tells me it's electro, probably UK, probably goes for way too long. lol nailed it, got all 3. This shit is boring. Just sounds exactly like you'd expect, for OVER AN HOUR. fuck off. Did listen to the whole thing, though. I think it actively lowered my blood pressure, so it gets a point or two for that. 2/5.

It feels like I stepped into a sci-fi movie. And I'm not quite sure if I like it. 2/5 stars.

Meh, wasn't into it.

Not sure what it was, not for me

Better than I was expecting for electronica. Enjoyed Space Shanty.

Kinda boring and repetitive. Sounded like spy techno music you hear at laser tag places.

Fine metody without emotional value. I Canon absolutely listen the music, it just doesn't hit me by my heart.

Saved Prior: None Off Rip: Afro Left, Inspection (Check One), Open Up Cutting Edge: Space Shanty, Storm 3000 Overall Notes: Super influential electronic that gives off Fatboy Slim vibes but with the world music meter turned up. It's fine, but nothing earth shattering for me personally.

I’ve said before that I’m not super into EDM. Maybe this is good, I don’t know, but it’s not for me.

Not for me

90's UK dance/electronic. The back end of the record is so much stronger than the front. BT: Space Shanty, Inspection (Check One), Open Up

Good background music, probably wouldn’t listen to listen though

respect to their work, but not good in our age, i can imagine some hippies banging to it

yuck, blech

Another house/electro whatever album... I find myself nodding along to this. Saved a few songs. Not as much of a fan when the vocals come in, but I get why people like this. Didn't do it for me as much as the Fatboy Slim album... feels less cohesive and a little more like a 90s movie. But still kind of pumped I'm getting exposed to this kind of music. 2.5

This was ok, didn't much for me. A bit turned off by the house music aspects of it.

Kind of sounds like video game music, some of it is great ambient beats, other stuff is very clubby. Would be good workout music!

4.5/10 Atmospheric but a bit passive for my taste, impressive sounding but yeah, left something missing for me

Interesting, but not my type

Not my thing at all

More forgettable, generic electronic music that sounds like it belongs in the menus of a forgettable, generic PS2 racing game.

Don't get it AT ALL

Absolute trash. 0.0

Oh goodie, another boring electronica album... I really don't know what qualifies an electronic album for this list and I don't see that changing. I was going to make some comment about how at least this one has vocals instead of just throbbing beats, but those were just painful to listen to.

Still a no on EDM, but keep trying, list.

Another album that could have been made by Jeremy Usbourne in his room in his shared flat in Croydon.

I like proper house, and I like proper Techno. What I don't like is this inoffensive, middle-of-the-road electronica coffeeshop background music.

Disappointed with this. Expected more. Could have made a similar album on my PS1. 😂

Not for me. Too much dance music repetitiveness and thumping

Leftism starts off OK but overstays its welcome. I find this to be a common flaw of many of the electronic albums featured on this list. For many of unknown house/techno/electronica bands a couple songs are good to check out, but its hard to stay interested for an 70 minutes. The goes double for electronic albums that often feature 6-7 minute songs that are often built on repetitive beats. Once you hear a couple you are ready to move along but still have to sit through 5 more long length redundant songs. Leftism does a little bit to quell this by applying some mixed vocals throughout the album but it still adds up to a lackluster affair. Album length issues are an issue on electronic genres but I'm also seeing it be a pretty common problem on a lot 90's album releases. As the industry moved from records to compact discs it seems like album length trended toward more than an hour. I assume this was partially due to the extra length allowed on the medium as well as some artists trying to justify the premium price that CD's carried. Regardless, so many of these albums have a decent 30+ minutes but are seemingly stretched to include a handful of tracks that shouldn't have made the cut. As an industry trend I don't want to hold this against the artists but it's hard not to recognize so many examples where an album should have tightened it up. Leftism unfortunately fell into both of these traps so unfortunately it finished up to marginal results. I didn't outright dislike the music but there needed to be quite a bit of trimming on this one. 1.49 stars

Overall: 2/10 This type of music needs to leave me and future generations of my family alone for the rest of eternity. Fav Song: Melt

Not sure why I would need to listen to this.

The list is 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before you Die. To me, this implies that these albums have interesting musical or cultural significance that will be important for the listener to dissect and absorb from listening. This is yet another slickly produced album which contains none of that. It’s all droll, uninspired electronic music that most people have never heard of and even fewer will remember. It’s not a required listening experience by any means.

Langweilig Elektronische Musik

Que remil poronga de música. 0/10.

Black Flute opens with a beat. Gee, what an innovation. Every other stinking miserable track of so called music starts with a long slow fad in...until....here it comes...it suddenly drops into the same dance beat with a slightly different mix of warbling over the top. Is the slow fade in a time out so that you can go and grab another E, or to go and do a wee cause you've been drinking so much water while gyrating off the first E you took? Fuck off!

This is like background music from a dancing compilation on YouTube in 2011

...surely they could have included Weezer's debut over this. 1.5/5

Oh look, annoying noises. Occasionally with a few words, sometimes in English, sometimes in some foreign gibberish. More crap that didn’t need to be heard before expiring.

Background music to a weird space game from 20 years ago thats not very good. Sounds like it would go hard if I drank Mountain Dew. 2/10

This album is a slog and a half. The songs are too long, the album is too long, the only thing that wasn't too long was my patience for this album. I never knew that dance albums can be measured in WLPM ⌚👀 (3.2) ★½

😐 nah

It LEFT me cold 😒

On more than one of these tracks, I thought my smoke alarm was beeping. Funny thing is, I didn't remember cooking. 1 star.

holy boring batman

This album just went by.... I didn't noticed that it ended.

Highlights: Release the Pressure, Afro-Left I read on Wikipedia that the artists themselves thought this record was a mess and I have to agree with them. It's a collection of passable dance music, but not a good record on its own. I feel like it's an overall trend with 90s experimental music that it never really works too well as a record even though the material might not be bad on its own, so I am putting a bit of the blame on the format itself. However, the approach of this record isn't that good either. I've heard better dance and electronic music from this period so the music itself has to take the blame as well. Interesting to know that the sample they used in Song of Life is very famous and also used by the Beastie Boys and Massive Attack. But apart from the cool sample, that song was ruined by the beat switch. It's really a thing of taste though, and I really don't like this kind of dance music - it's very braindead and loopy. The usual 7 minute runtime of tracks didn't help much either. You really have to be under the influence of some shit to think this is wonderful. There are elements of greatness but they aren't arranged well at all.

I can’t listen to this I hate technology music

Liberals 😭😭😭

Fanns väl intressanta element men definitivt inte min smak

I can see the attraction for people who like this music, just not for me

I don't know if this was revolutionary in the 90's, but it certainly hasn't aged well. A boring two hour slog of generica electronica sounding of an amateur's 24 hour FL Studio session.

The chances of anything named leftism being good is incredibly slim

If I wanted to get a headache while listening to incessant beeping, I wouldn't keep replacing the batteries in my carbon monoxide detector

Yeah, I'm not listening to two hours of this...

No thank you…

Its just not for me

Another reviewer called this background music for a PS2 racing game …. I feel like that was too generous. Think theme music for a pandemic shutdown. It’s awful

Skuffende!

Borinnnggg

I figured this would be a struggle as I dont find it easy to engage with club / house music. It does appear well crafted and the chosen electronic effects do inspire a level of passion and emotion. The rub for me is its a layer cake of slightly unusuall sounds kept on in loop and built up and tweaked. Its clever but it just leaves me bored out of my brain. Its occassional propgressive drum beats bring back a kind of youth PTSD like that first dodgy blue drink you threw up when 15. Unless I have some mind bending substances in my system not sure I would ever enjoy this. I had to assign this the lowest order of my musical appreciation as it was just so hard to get through it. Odd 2 star song got drowned out in this epic. By the time I got to Black Flute the oppressive drum smashing nearly did me in and that was only half way through.

‘Leftfield? These no hopers should have been left IN a field’ - Sir Len Houmous 1999! 1.1 12/18 Afro Ride

is it some kind of a game soundtrack or wtf??

Can’t do it. “Peace and uuunnityyyy…” over a shitty backdrop of electro blah bullshit. No thanks. 1/5

We are all dumber for having listened to this. May god have mercy on our souls.

Just not my thing

No me ha gustado nada

*1995. English electronic. *This is so not my genre, but I guess this is better than most for what it is. Maybe? *Would be fitting for a video game soundtrack, but otherwise no good application for this. *The vocals were like a non-English rap (couldn't really tell what language). RATING - 3/10

Not really my thing. This falls in the category of electronic/dance music I just don't enjoy very much.

i kept zoning out and when id zone back in, the same repetitive song was going on - this was unnecessarily long

Incredibly boring, lack of anything exciting and is pure shitty background music. I could have lived my life without learning about the existence of this album. Truly a tough listen.

Man, I usually like electronic music, but this did nothing for me. There's a lot more interesting music in the genre. Wouldn't revisit this one. Probably need drugs to enjoy. I was initially going to give this two stars, then I saw I was only halfway through the album. Yikes!

Not for me

My techno eays are long behind me!

point0.

Hooooooly crapfest man. Jesus Christ. I always really reeeeeeeally try to give each album a chance. Give them their due. And I was seriously close to liking this at times. When you eventually settle into the groove, and you see some girl strutting exactly with the beat outside the window of the bus, like, hell yeah man. But damn those moments are rare. I am not a raver. I do not like listening to 2+ hours of the Apple Logic Rave Preset Starter Pack. Fave songs: - Song of Life - Open Up But also all of this sounds the same man, let’s be real

mi primer 1/5

While I did not mind the music and mix, I did not care for the vocals or lyrics. No group/person in this genre of music sticks out to me. I like an occasional song and then I move on. This was nothing that I had not already heard from The Art of Noise or Tangerine Dream or Vangelis.

I don’t know why this is on this list. Club/electronica in decent form for sure, but I don’t see how this could be influential to anyone

Honestly worst album by far, hated it.

I wasn't really in the mood for this today, so I may come back and revisit it again later.

something you just have to be in the mood for.

This is the soundtrack to that little café you just slide into for a coffee to go when you’re on vacation. Volume is a little loud and you just want to leave as quickly as possible.

sorry i wasnt in the mood for this kind of music

This was quite a boring album sorry

Repetative

"Hello! This is Mega Company, Inc. Your call is important to us. All of our agents are busy assisting other customers. Your call will be answered in the order it was received. Thank you for your patience." And then this music starts playing. Maybe I could relate to it if I enjoyed dancing. But, I don't. This is just bad elevator music to me. Insipid, boring, uninspired, repetitive, mind-numbing...I could go on. This is the first album I couldn't make it through. Life is too short!

All these electronic albums from the 90s are so dated. More dated than anything else this list keeps churning out. Please stop.

Not my style and not much to grab onto here

Honestly, not sure why this album was on this list. I thought it was fine, and enjoyable enough listen in the background, but definitely not anything. I’m coming back to anytime soon. I’m guessing maybe it was revolutionary back when it came out, influenced people? But there’s nothing that stood out for this album that made me want to go back and give it another shot, I’d say one out of five.

If you wanted to encapsulate this entire mediocre list into one album, this is it. British, 90s, not actually relevant. Awful cover art to boot. WTF

Just not my thing

This would be really good for 1992

If I was in a field and off my bin on cider I’d probably love this…but I’m in my house doing dishes, so I don’t.

Video game menu music from the early 2000s. Please no more electronic music.

Not a fan 😢

Hate it. 1/5

I was excited seeing this described as "progressive" house, thinking "progressive meant it would be for me. It is not for me. As someone who does not listen to house music, this was exceedingly boring.

3 words: Terr A Bull. This synthesized garbage is not music,

In my last 17 albums I have had 7 albums rated as a 1 and then I get this, ugh, make them stop.

Unclear reason

bad day to have ears.

👎🏻

i fully expect this list to completely ignore innovative black electronic artists in favor of whatever this is. vocal samples were lame & none of the songs justified their runtime

This was hardly even good as working music... Very minimal, very much the same all the time.

2 hours too long. 1/10 for the effort of making something that no one wants to listen to

I just can’t listen to a full edm album

This first song makes me want to hurt myself and small animals. ...I was tempted to leave it at that, but there actually is some merit in here. For example track 3 "Melt" is nice - that's the kind of background chill techno I could put on. It's just too rare on this collection. Also it feels like cheating writing so little about something so I'll say this -> I do like to look back and try to remember albums that I listened to that I don't remember...reasons I gave scores I did -> I'm just not interested at all in this - it doesn't feel creative or even fun. There are definitely times where there's a nice groove (e.g. "Inspection") but this album feels like a shiny and shitty toy. Obviously different genres/tastes for different people - or the same people at different times - but this just feels like (is) a pastiche of loops copied and pasted together to occasionally make me nod my head, but I feel like I'm being played. And none of these are really songs which again, fine, but I don't like it. And I truly hate the vocals (John Lydon esp good god). 2/10 1 star

Who the hell did this album influence? Utter crap is what it was.

# 402 : Can't Listen, don't like it, I'm not sure it inspired anyone, but if the music isn't good, I'm not sure I need to hear it before I die. I can't imagine getting hit by a bus and my last thought being, "But I never got to that album about Leftfield"!".

I've never been a big electronic fan. I've listened to dozens of electronic albums at this point in my Albums Generator journey, and have been able to moderately enjoy some of them. I have a rule that I can't skip tracks while going through this project...but I had to break it for this one. I'm sure it's very influential to somebody, but I couldn't stand this album.

Kinda bad

Oh....

Progressive and electronic and Brit. 3 of my dislikes. Soulless.

Terrible

Too much electronica lately. I'm not listening to all of this.

Not to be controversial, but I think there’s a bit too much 90’s British electronica on this list.

Am I listening to Macarena or is it Terry Crews doing his comidic schtick in an Adam Sandler movie? Am I at a wellness spa or visiting a new age cult? Whatever it is, not for me.

Good electronic band. Decent music.

The Prodigy ya habían publicado su Music For The Jilted Generation y este mismo año Tricky: Maximquaye, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS: Exit Planet Dust y GOLDIE: Timeless. P J HARVEY: To Bring You My Love, TRICKY: Maxinquaye, OASIS (What's The Story) Morning Glory, TINDERSTICKS: The Second Album, BJÖRK: Post, PULP: Different Class, SMASHING PUMPKINS: Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, SUPERGRASS: I Should Coco, GARBAGE: Garbage, THE JAYHAWKS - Tomorrow the green grass, TEENAGE FANCLUB: Grand Prix, RADIOHEAD: The Bends, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: The Ghost Of Tom Joad, ELASTICA: Elastica, D’ANGELO: Brown Sugar, WILCO: A M, SPIRITUALIZED: Pure Phase, YO LA TENGO: Electr-O-Pura, Slowdive (‘Pygmalion’), GUIDED BY VOICES- Alien lanes También: THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS: Exit Planet Dust, GOLDIE: Timeless, FOO FIGHTERS: Foo Fighters, BLACK GRAPE: It’s Great When You Are Straight Yeah PAVEMENT: Wowee Zowee , SPAIN: The Blue Moods Of Spain THE AMPS: Pacer, THE PRESIDENTS OF U.S.A. - The Presidents of U.S.A., PAUL WELLER - Stanley road, BEN FOLDS FIVE - Ben Folds Five, SONIC YOUTH - Washing machine, NEIL YOUNG & PEARL JAM - Mirror ball, MATTHEW SWEET - 100% Fun, LUNA - Penthouse, CHRIS ISAAK- Forever Blue, Throwing Muses- University, Supersuckers- The Sacrilicious Sounds of the Supersuckers, Superchunk -Here’s Where the Strings Come In, Annie Lennox- Medusa, Jamiroquai-The Return of the Space Cowboy, THE VERVE- A northern soul, THE MAGNETIC FIELDS- Get lost, U2 (Passengers)- Original soundtracks 1, Prince - The Gold Experience, NO DOUBT- Tragic Kingdom.

Not for me.

Gave up after two tracks

Wide left.

I might like this if I was a young club-kid high on X. The music is so mind-numbingly repetitive and predictable that it quickly gets annoying and ultimately, boring. This is music to dance to, not listen to. 1.5/5

Not really for me.

158/1001 🌕🌗🌑🌑🌑

this is shit.

Horrible

Just terrible. If you want to spend an hour listening to random electronic noise, this is the ticket for you. I kept imagining Ross with his Casio working on his "music." Ross's was probably better.

Wow. Big surprise that this lost out to Portishead's Dummy for the 1995 Mercury Prize.

Nope. Generic and dull.

I refuse to listen to anymore dumbass electronica!!! Enough!!!

An hour and nine minutes of generic repetitive elevator music. Again. I don't get how one country could pump out souch of this crap in the 90s. How did any of this turn a profit?

This WAS NOT an album I needed to hear before I die. What a waste of thought.

Not my style of music, I couldn’t finish it.

1001 Albums a Secondary Character in a Club Scene from a Shitty British Movie from 1995 Must Hear Before the Title Card.

I don't know who or what this is. It's layered and frenetic sounding, not elaborate or especially technical tho. I think I admire it's ambition but I'm not enjoying it. 1 stars.

It's house music. Everything gets repeated or looped about 418 times, so the interesting stuff becomes boring and the bad moments become a nuisance. I just don't like this style or genre, and nearly quit listening to it.

Another album cover I'm familiar with from the wracks in Our Price and Virgin Megastore in the 90s. Until now I had no idea what the music it contains would sound like. I wish I could get 69 minutes of my life back and still not know. Incredibly dated, extremely 90s, chilled house/trip hop. Way too long and way too dull. Rating: 1.5/5 Playlist track: Original Date listened: 29/04/24

1 hour of GarageBand loops.

Same-ism.

not my style at all

boring electronic music from 90s. exactly what it says on the tin. not bad, but i constantly wished i was listening to something at least a bit more exciting NNN

An album from my teenage years that I've never heard of. As it's on this site that means there's a 90% chance it's British. Let's have a peek and of course it is. Ok, lets have a listen. Oh, oh God NO. Make it stop. This is the sort of music to enjoy when you're off your tits on drugs. Unfortunately I don't think there's enough drugs in the world to get me to like this.

DNF Aggravating Annoying Crap 1 star is generous

Generic background music for a movie scene that takes place in a club. Don’t know why it is included on the list… maybe it invented that sound or something?

Wow bad just bad...

Day71 - so this is terrible. i know everyone has different tastes in music but who’s listening to this at work or in the car ?

Definitely could've went without listening to this. This genre just isn't for me, don't see the appeal whatsoever.

I'm just not a techno dance music kind of guy

Usually the thing that saves these sorts of "choose your car!' 90s albums for me is the vocal performances, as they usually have one or two tracks that save the album from complete monotony, despite all of their insistent needs to be over an hour long. Not this album though, all the vocal performances are so dull, or even straight up suck, and it makes every song suffer when they are there. It doesn't mean the instrumental tracks are much better. They're just as forgettable and robotic as every other house album from the decade. It just all feels so cold, not in the good way, and I fail to have a single thought worth writing here as I listen. Its all just so tedious, and when you've listened to quite a few of these now, it really makes the whole genre look worse.

Poor jumbled tecno

Anstrengender Proggressive House.

Fairly repetitive. I'm sure it would be great in a club, but for me it wasn't great listening.

Wish we cud give it a ZERO!

electr., dance, 1995 -> 1

Nein. Nichts für mich. So gar nicht.

Boring background music

Wasn't anything I could get into. Ended up skipping through several tracks

This isn't as bad as the rating makes it seem. It's a style of music I don't enjoy, and drones on for way too long. A few of the songs I can understand how people might enjoy, even if I don't.

Now I know where video game background music comes from.

Could not finish it. May only be listenable in clubs and if intoxicated.

Too techno for me

I turned it off after 3 songs. Music doesn't need to be weird and annoying to be good.

This sucks

Meh. House music. The genre isn't really for me. one or two stars

Do you know how many great electronica albums have dropped in the past twenty years? Arca, Kelly Lee Owens, Burial, hell even a deadmau5 or Tiesto album have been more impactful and important than whatever this dated dancefloor shit is. Electronic music is one of my absolute fav genres, yet it's one of my lowest-rated in the project because the representative selection is so godawful.

Couldn't bring myself to finish this one. Not my kind is an understatement.

It's a no

Salonkikelpoista reivimusiikkia. Kliiniä/kliinistä. Luiskahtaa vain sormien välistä, ei edes jumita.

Hyvin hankalaa edes antaa mahdollisuutta. Yksitoikkoista, laahaavaa, halvan kuuloista.

I got through one and a half songs.

malazo

Way too long both album and individual songs, boring and uninteresting songs. Might have been good at the time but if so it's aged like milk.

I only liked Melt, everything else is not my jam. Melt reminded me of Fez.

Music like this is the reason you'll never find me in partylocations like Ibiza. To me, that's just background noise.

I just realized that my amazon music was playing this album on random. I didn't notice for an hour.

Yeah, no... I am not into this at all. Electronic music with a reggae undertone. It is just plain awful

Album 55 of 1001 Leftfield - Leftism Favorite Track : NONE Rating : 1 / 5 (Rounded Up) 2 Hours of Electronic Music. This really sucks. Sorry. After listening to some of the greatest music ever made, it is an insult that this is even included.

This album sounds like what you’d get if you asked AI for house music nowadays. I was expecting much more.

Fuck you! Straight fucking garbage.

Hot garbage with glow sticks.

When you leave a game on pause for an hour while you do something else, and the repetitive background music keeps going.

Spore creature creation music

Massive Attack / Faithless, but not as good vibes immediately. Or as good as The Shamen. Terrible, just terrible. Ooh, I recognize this drum beat... (Song of Life) Nah, had enough. 1 / 5 stars. Being generous.

mostly unlistenable

I said I would give every album a listen all the way through. I did and that was difficult to do..... Loved the lyrics to Open up. Too funny. Otherwise, this album was difficult to get through. I'll score a 1 just for the "Burn Hollywood down" part. hahaha 1

This is like a electronic club dance album. I do like some of the sounds but it also sounds like very generic dance music. It’s not innovative or different enough to cause me to like it or anything. So has to be a 1/5 for me.

House music is a little torturous to me. In my personal level of hell there would be house music playing constantly. 1.4because it’s marginally more interesting than some house music I’ve heard, but there’s no way I’m gonna make it through two hours of this album

A lot of house type instrumental music and super repetitive. Wasn't a fan

I write almost the same for all electronic albums because it is not my favorite kind of music, with 1 or 2 exceptions until now. This one is not an exception.

Nope. Shouldn't be here.

this legit hurt my ears

Braucht kein Mensch.

Just kind of annoying

Another electronic music album that I couldn't stand. I knew I wasn't a huge fan of the genre before I started this and that is really becoming quite apparent. Maybe it's because I only like some EDM, mostly synthwave, but I have no idea what makes this good or important.

There are a couple of enjoyable more melodic tracks on the album, which aren't a slog to sit through. But, unfortunately it felt like there were more repetitive tracks that overstayed their welcome, than there were real enjoyable pieces of music. After an hour of this, I'm not sure I ever want to hear it again!

I didn’t know until today that there was a 90s Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Some interesting sounds at the start, devolved into dance cliches quickly.

This is not my vibe and was not a good lunchtime coffee break quiet reflection before a meeting album. This is not to say it’s not good just that it was not for me.

Songs go nowhere and the basic building beats are pretty uninteresting to start with.

personally not for me.

No impression

Another electronic album. Still pretty bored. Although it was somewhat better than the others. 2.9/10

Really long songs. Kind of edm. Didn’t like it.

Too techno like. Not enjoyable. Hurt my ears

WHAT THE FUCK

Wasn’t a fan of this at all.

More electronic garbage. 1/10.

The only album so far I could not get through, not coz it tested my patience but I know this is so not my jam very tropical and bouncy electronic music. Sure some people will love and I do appreciate the array of sounds they use in the songs I heard but this is my personal rating and I have tried but I cannot open up to this sound 1.5/5

I was losing my mind in 1996, but not to this.
