Strangeways, Here We Come by The Smiths

Good album, nothing really hit me deeply but I didn’t skip anything and generally enjoy The Smiths’ sound.

Since I Left You by The Avalanches

Great album start to finish. I was familiar with a couple of the songs but the whole album is solid as a full listen through.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park

I’d never listened to the full album but was familiar with the hits. Still not a fan, it’s a little too vanilla, but I can appreciate the artistry and skill of the band.

Dookie by Green Day

I spent countless hours listening to this album all the way through when it was first released. I think for a whole lot of people it was a major part of their teenage/young adulthood.

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop

I didn’t realise how good this album was. I’m only really aware of Iggy for his hits and his popular culture personality. This was really good. A solid rock album from beginning to end.

Great album

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto

Interesting album. Definitely captures and sound and feeling. In a smoky club in Rio during the 60s watching Astrud sing on stage.

Classic album. Part of the soundtrack of my teenage years.
