Marvin Gaye
4/5
Very solid album. The hits are top tier although I did get a bit bored with some of the in-between. Love me some Marvin G. though.
Cream
2/5
Not really a fan. The hits on the album are decent but the rest didn't move me at all.
Metallica
3/5
Solid metal album. The hits are hits for a good reason! I was a bit bored with the first half of the album, felt very much like "generic metal" but the last half realllllly was great and I ended up adding two songs to my favorites!
Massive Attack
2/5
Not a fan. I added the first track but I may remove it, not sure if it has staying power. Overall, I could see how big fans of the genre might like it, but ultimately, it just wasn't for me.
Sigur Rós
4/5
Ok, I REALLY liked this album. I couldn't understand the lyrics, but the instrumentals are top notch! I added quite a few song to my favorites!
Lorde
3/5
Thought it was a good album actually. Really made me appreciate Lourde more. 3.5/5
The Flaming Lips
3/5
Not a terrible album by any means, but just sort of felt middle of the road for my tastes. Nothing stood out but I wouldn't be miserable listening to it again. 2.5/5.
Jefferson Airplane
3/5
Not bad. It kept me going but I feel like a lot of their stuff sounds the same. I did end up adding one song to my favorites. I'd give it a solid 3/5.
ZZ Top
4/5
Can see where this album became highly regarded. Good hits and the deeper tracks can really slap. Gained a much bigger appreciation for ZZ Top. 4/5
The Who
2/5
It was alright. I'm not a huge fan of live albums, and I'm not a big Who guy. I'd probably give it a middle of the road 2.5/5 because it did have a couple of moments. Nothing added.
Van Halen
3/5
Classic. A little short but pretty good. Hard to gauge this one. Maybe a 3.75/5.
Metallica
3/5
Solid metal album. The hits are hits for a good reason! I was a bit bored with the first half of the album, felt very much like "generic metal" but the last half realllllly was great and I ended up adding two songs to my favorites!
Jethro Tull
4/5
Another surprise find. The hits were great, there's a few hidden gems as well. Only added one, but there's another two or three I might after a relisten sometime. 4/5
Dinosaur Jr.
3/5
Not a bad album, not great. 2.5/5
Guns N' Roses
4/5
Classic! Great album! 4-4.5/5
Mike Ladd
3/5
Pretty good album. Was it a little distracted whole listening. Could go up a half star on relisten. Solid 3/5 maybe more.
Steely Dan
2/5
Meh 2/5. Nothing special. Was pretty boring.
Miles Davis
3/5
Very good album. I didn't add anything just because the structure has the songs at 17+ minutes. Would probably go back and listen again. 3.75/5
Talking Heads
3/5
Alright album. Nothing really sticks out but I did add one song. Probably a 3-3.5/5
Destiny's Child
3/5
Had some decent songs that were hits when it first released, but I wasn't a fan of the style overall. Seemed kind of "gospel" at times and a lot of songs sounded kind of similar. I could see how someone liked that type of genre would appreciate it though. 3/5
Iggy Pop
4/5
Really like this album. Gained a better appreciation for Iggy. Looking forward to hearing more from him. Have three songs added and could see listening to the album in full in the future. A very solid 4-4.5/5.
George Harrison
5/5
Such an amazing album. My first 5/5. Added quite a few tracks, enjoyed my whole time with it. Thinking of picking up the vinyl. Will be listening to this one more and more.
Ella Fitzgerald
3/5
The symphonic instrumentals and the big band era sounds were very nice. Hard for me to personally rate it higher than a 3/5 but I could see it being a big hit with fans of the genre. Ella's voice is simply amazing as well!
OutKast
3/5
Alright. Nothing super ear-catching. The hits are great but everything else was kind of bleh. 3/5.
The Slits
3/5
Not bad. Did like their rendition of "Heard It Through The Grapevine"
3/5
Nice transitions. Definitely the sum is better than the parts. 3.5/5
A Tribe Called Quest
4/5
Such a great album. A few bumps, 3.75/5
Fela Kuti
3/5
Pretty rad jazzy album. Reminded me a lot of a Bebop tune. It was fun to listen to. A nice 3/5
Jimi Hendrix
4/5
Solid album with a lot of great hits. Would probably appreciate it more if I hadn't heard them before. The studio recording is a bit choppy but that's what it was in those days. 4/5
Leonard Cohen
3/5
Not used to hearing Leonard without his raspy voice. Very lyrically good album with some haunting instrumentals at times. 3/5
Circle Jerks
3/5
Good sound. Loved the punk sound. Could have benefited from more time because the songs were great but it felt like they never truly got going to their full potential. Not sure if it was a gimmicky album, but I did enjoy it for what it was. 3.5/5.
Kanye West
5/5
Great album with lots of bangers. Not much more to say 5/5 rap album.
Janelle Monáe
4/5
Ok, this was a pretty good album. Not a lot stood out as something I would personally listen to repeatedly, but it had good beats and lyrics and I could see how people would really enjoy it. I think I could come back to this later for a relisten. 3.75/5
Everything But The Girl
2/5
Was such a boring listen. I guess I could see how someone might like it but it just didn't hit any spots for me. 2/5
Stephen Stills
4/5
Enjoyed the album. Added quite a few songs to my likes. 3.75-4/5.
Stevie Wonder
4/5
Wonderful for the most part, some of the tracks were kind of bleh, but for the most part a great listen. 3.75/5
Lauryn Hill
4/5
Nice experience. Never gave it a lot of time when it came out. Added a few songs. 3.75/5
Various Artists
3/5
It's nice for a Xmas album.
The Youngbloods
2/5
Meh. Nothing really special.
The Psychedelic Furs
2/5
Not bad for a punkish album. Nothing stands out as too special or ear-catching.
Orbital
2/5
So generic sounding. It had all the generic beats and chanting overlay that all the early to mid-90s artists had when trying to break into the electronica scene. Soooo boring.
R.E.M.
3/5
Mid
The Smiths
2/5
Not great, not terrible. Is a little forgettable but there were some nice songs, didn't add anything. 2.5/5
Drive Like Jehu
4/5
Surprisingly good album. When I read it was hardcore I thought for sure I'd be disappointed, but boy was I wrong. I ended up adding a few songs as well. 4/5
Rufus Wainwright
3/5
Kind of haunting at times but not really my jam. 2.5/5
Jimi Hendrix
4/5
Very good album. I sort of take it for granted because I've heard quite a few of the bangers on it for so long. But I can only imagine for amazing it'd be to hear them again for the first time. 4/5
Wu-Tang Clan
4/5
Classic rap album. I'd never listened to it all the way through so this was a first and enjoyable time. Solid 4/5
Lynyrd Skynyrd
5/5
Incredible album. Can't believe so many great tunes were from LS were on one record. Easy 5/5
Gene Clark
3/5
Mid.
The Only Ones
2/5
Mid. Nothing special or eye opening.
Mylo
3/5

4/5
Loved this. 4.5/5
Marilyn Manson
3/5
Honestly, a pretty good metal album. 3.5/5
Rush
5/5
Really enjoyed this. I thought I had heard most of it before, but I guess I never got through the entire first 20 minute romp. Pretty great, would definitely listen to it again. 5/5
Supergrass
3/5
Nothing special. Very mid. 2.5/5
Foo Fighters
3/5
The hits are good
Ryan Adams
3/5
Not bad! Not exactly a genre I listen to a lot, but it sounded great. 3.5/5
1/5
Not my thing. I like jazz but this sounded pretty chaotic and didn't have much flow to it. 1/5.
Black Sabbath
4/5
Really enjoyed this. Added a few tracks. 3.5-4/5
Nick Drake
2/5
Not great, not bad, just sort of middle of the road. 2.5/5
Christina Aguilera
3/5
Not bad for a pop album. Great voice, good flow. 3.5/5
Massive Attack
2/5
Ugh, two from Massive Attack. I hate that this is taking a spot from something amazing like Daft Punk's Discovery. 2/5 just because it was better than the first one I got.
Cyndi Lauper
3/5
Album perfectly encapsulates the early 80s female pop movement. Solid record. 3.5/5
Pixies
4/5
Great day of listening. Very pleased with this one. 3.5/5
Alanis Morissette
4/5
Classic. One of the two first albums I bought and still holds up almost 30 years later. 4/5
M.I.A.
2/5
Bleh. Some of the beats were alright, but it didn't feel like much of substance. Lot of repeating lyrics and just seemed lazy. 2/5
Jurassic 5
4/5
Enjoyed the album. Slightly above average. 3.5/5
The Electric Prunes
2/5
Generic 60s rock. Nothing to see here. Something my 70 year old mother would have liked, idk maybe, she had better taste though so probably not. 2/5
Sufjan Stevens
4/5
Was very apprehensive at first after seeing the title and cover and reading the wiki synopsis, but I was very impressed with the lyrics and instrumentals. Might be something I delve into again at some point and will probably check out more of Stevens' work. Although I only added one song, I have to give this a 4/5.
Crosby, Stills & Nash
3/5
Not bad. Great harmonies and lyrics. 3/5
Pentangle
3/5
Pretty normal 60s folk album. Some songs seemed a bit similar to hymns. 2.5/5
The Magnetic Fields
3/5
Not a bad collection of love songs. Was really well done, but as I think almost everyone can attest, just soooooo long. I'll give it an even 2.5/5
Ali Farka Touré
3/5
Great guitar playing. 3/5
Creedence Clearwater Revival
4/5
Great album. Another solid 4/5
Bob Dylan
4/5
Good album. Better appreciation for Dylan. Think I'll give this another lesson over the weekend and could probably up my rating of 3.5/5.
Johnny Cash
4/5
What a classic. Johnny kills and plays off the crowd so well. Songs are the perfect duration to keep you going but not get bored. 4/5
Fela Kuti
4/5
Loved it! Good jazzy beats, Ginger killing it on the drums. 4/5
John Cale
2/5
Nothing special came from this one for me. 2/5
Pixies
3/5
Was alright. I liked the previous Pixies album better. This one would be a middle of the road 2.5/5.
GZA
4/5
Great beats and lyrically sound. Solid 4/5
David Bowie
2/5
Came into this album excited for the listen because it's Bowie and I've never taken the time to listen to any of his B-sides. Was very disappointed by this one though. Pretty bland, instrumentally it felt repetitive and weak. 2/5
Raekwon
2/5
Wasn't a huge fan, probably the weakest of the Wu Tang Clans group/solo albums on the list. 2.5/5
Ice Cube
3/5
Reminds me of my younger days. 3.5/5
The xx
4/5
Surprise find. Had a few catchy tunes. 4/5
Nick Drake
3/5
Good composition, but was just a bit boring to me. 2.5/5
Prince
3/5
Wasn't thrilled with it at first but it did pick up a little bit before halfway. 3/5

Nice composition album. The sum was a bit better than the parts, but it kept me going and was a nice listen. 3/5
Jimmy Smith
3/5
Very soothing well done yazz album. 3/5
Elliott Smith
3/5
Was pleasant enough, but didn't feel like it had any moxie. 2.5/5
Boston
5/5
Bangers all the way through. 5/5
AC/DC
4/5
Great album but it suffers from overexposure over the years. 4/5
Bon Jovi
3/5
Another album that suffers a bit from overexposure when I was growing up. 3.5/5
Coldplay
2/5
Coldplay is so boring. 2/5
Snoop Dogg
5/5
Takes me back to my teenage days. A classic amongst drunk, partying tweeners! 5/5
U2
2/5
Was ok, but Bono just comes off as such a tool. Nothing incredible about this one. 2.5/5
Christine and the Queens
3/5
Liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to based on some of the reviews. 3/5
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
3/5
Wasn't much of the first CD, but the second with the instrumental tracks were good. The first CD was filled with a lot of tracks with that stereotypical 60s sound that sounded like a bad recording. 2.5/5
Missy Elliott
3/5
Not bad by any means, just sort of flat. Was never a big fan of the mid 90s rubber suit rap and M. Elliott has always rubbed me the wrong way. 2.5/5
Marvin Gaye
3/5
3.5/5
Arcade Fire
3/5
Pretty good listen. Though I have a hard time putting it above 3 just because there wasn't a lot replayability for my tastes. 3/5
Kate Bush
2/5
Very chaotic in a boring way. 2/5
Steely Dan
3/5
Good album. Classic Steely with a few recognizable hits. 3.5/5

Sonic Youth
3/5
Was pretty decent. Had some dips, but the highs were much more frequent. 3.5/5

3/5
Not terrible by any means, it had its moments but I'd be ok never hearing it again. 2.5/5
Sam Cooke
3/5
Not bad. 3/5
Muddy Waters
4/5
Abdullah Ibrahim
3/5
Very nice jazzy album! Still a 3/5 because I don't see myself revisiting anytime soon.
Goldfrapp
2/5
Very much feels like an entire album of boring attempts to make a Bond movie theme. 2/5
Coldplay
2/5
Better than the previous Coldplay album I got, but gawd are they boring. 2/5
Pulp
2/5
Zzz zzz 2/5

3/5
Much better than advertised! 3/5
Elton John
5/5
Great album. 5/5
The Notorious B.I.G.
3/5
Great lyricist but this is a pretty weak album outside of Juicy and Big Poppa. Same type of rhythmic beats over and over. 2.5/5
PJ Harvey
4/5
Good stuff man 4/5
Randy Newman
4/5
Was pleasantly surprised by this one. Not in love with his voice, mainly because I associated it with Disney soundtracks, but it did start growing on me. The instrumentals and composition was wonderful throughout. 3.5/5
David Bowie
3/5
Not bad, not great. Bowie seems to be an acquired taste for me. 3/5
Led Zeppelin
5/5
Amazing ride. 5/5
Grateful Dead
2/5
It's jam band sh*t. Not bad by any means, but it serves better as background music or would be a good time live, but it can really drone on. 2.5/5
The War On Drugs
3/5
Pleasant surprise. 3.5/5
Buena Vista Social Club
3/5
Not bad. 3/5
Buddy Holly & The Crickets
3/5
Nice listen. 3/5

Started off strong but then fe off.
Bruce Springsteen
3/5
Surprisingly enjoyable.
Erykah Badu

Was pleasantly surprised by this one. 4/5
Primal Scream
3/5
Had some good highs and a few lows. Overall, not bad. 3/5
The Prodigy
3/5
Classic 90s. 3.5/5
The Strokes
3/5
Good listen. 3/5
Jane Weaver
3/5
Not nearly as bad as the reviews made it out to be. Does it deserve a spot on the list? Maybe, definitely better than some others I've gotten. 3/5
Beck
4/5
Surprisingly great.
CHIC
3/5
Garbage
3/5
Probably deserves a better listen, but as of now. 2.5/5
Public Enemy
2/5
I love old school hip hop, but this album was so bland. It feels like it uses the same 3 or 4 beats for different songs and there's a lot of phrase repetition. Sad to say because I like some other Public Enemy content, but this was a stinker. 2/5
Charles Mingus
3/5
It was ok. 2.5/5
Bruce Springsteen
3/5
Best Springsteen album so far. Nothing memorable but a really nice listen. 3.5/5

A masterclass in instrumentals. 4/5
CHIC
3/5
Pretty similar sounding tracks. Still funky tho 2.5/5
Red Hot Chili Peppers
3/5
Suffers from being overplayed to death, but it was for a decent reason, it's good, not great. A lot of similar sounding style, but not a bad listen. 3.5/5
Ladysmith Black Mambazo
2/5
This one was a struggle. I can understand how someone might like it, but it just felt very repetitive and bland. Every song kind of felt similar to each other and also just sort of repeated themselves lyrically. 2/5
Deep Purple
4/5
Just a masterclass in guitar and a fun ride. 4.5/5
The Crusaders
3/5
Funky fresh 3/5
Depeche Mode
3/5
Had some nice highs but some deep lows. 2.5/5

Classic from my teen years. Hadn't heard it in a long while and was refreshing.
Peter Gabriel
4/5
This was a treat. 4/5
The Allman Brothers Band
3/5
Pretty good. It does suffer a bit from songs going a bit too long, but that's sort of the nature of live albums. The guitar work by Betts and Allman is great tho. 3.5/5
The Cure
3/5
Was never a fan of The Cure, and after listening to this I'm still not. BUT, I did actually like a couple of songs and have a newfound respect for them. Solid album. 3/5
The Black Keys
4/5
Just an all around good album. 4/5
Elvis Costello
3/5
This sounds dated even for a 70s album. Has a 50s feel... 3/5
Rush
5/5
So good! 5/5
My Bloody Valentine
2/5
Very forgettable 2/5
Sonic Youth
3/5
Loved the instrumentals of this one, but the vocals take a bit away for me. 3/5
Michael Jackson
4/5
Banger. There are a couple of tunes towards the end I'm not a fan of so I can't give it a 5, but a solid 4/5!
Cowboy Junkies
3/5
Can be kind of haunting. I liked it although I'm not sure how much I'll revisit it. 3/5
SZA
2/5
Nothing really felt special about it. I guess I can see how the Gen Z crowd is a fan, but it just felt generic. 2.5/5
Gorillaz
4/5
Classic from my teens. Hard to appreciate it for what it is because by this point I've heard it so much. 3.5/5
Michael Jackson
5/5
Masterclass. 5/5
Barry Adamson
4/5
I love these albums that seem to get a lot of low review scores, and then surprise, it's awesome. This had moments that sounded like background or elevator music, but they still groove and there were a few really haunting tracks as well. What a banger. 4/5
The Jam
3/5
Not bad.
Duke Ellington
3/5
Fantastic jazz album. A little long, so I ended up stopping it at the end of the recording of the live show. 3.5/5

3/5
ZZ Top
4/5
3.5/5

Frank Ocean
3/5
Surprising find. 3.5/5
LCD Soundsystem
4/5
Hidden gem for me. So good. 4/5

TLC
3/5
Classic 90s
Roni Size
2/5
Boring and generic drum and bass. 2/5
Songhoy Blues
3/5
3.5/5
Stan Getz
2/5
Is it a bad listen? Not really. Doesn't feel like there is much substance. Again, it's one of those "elevator music" type albums. 2.5/5
Penguin Cafe Orchestra
3/5
Very enjoyable! 3.5/5
Pink Floyd
3/5
Very good 60s psychedelic rock album, but not a great Floyd album. I've never been a fan of Barrett era PF mainly because I grow up with the seminal Gilmour era 70s and onward LPs. Overall I enjoyed it, but would have liked to have had Animals on the list instead. 3.5/5
Sex Pistols
4/5
Wow, this one. You could feel the passion of the times and the embracing of punk by these young artists. Had a blast listening to this. 4/5
Eminem
4/5
This one hit my life when I was in my mid teens and was a bit of a breath of fresh air at that time. Coming off the rap of the 90s focusing hard on the all or nothing attitude of gangsta rap, this hit with tight lyrics and beats and didn't need to be as serious. Are the lyrics silly at times? Absolutely, but that's ok, it handles it well. 4/5
Joni Mitchell
3/5
So this one didn't really reach out to me as much as I would have thought with how highly peolt speak of Mitchell's work. While it wasn't bad by any means, it just didn't feel like something that I'd return to in the future, but I am looking forward to more of her work to see where I sit with her. Harry's House was phenomenal though! 3/5
The Temptations
3/5
3/5
Love
3/5
Ok, so just another run of the mill 60s psychedelic rock album. Not great, not terrible, just follows that same template that most of those groups seemed to follow back then. 2.5/5
Kid Rock
2/5
It has it's moments but overall just didn't age well. 2/5
Caetano Veloso
2/5
Good moments but nothing stood out as ear catching. And unfortunately the language barrier takes away from it as well. 2.5/5
Jerry Lee Lewis
3/5
Excluding Jerry's creepy personal life, this one was pretty good but also shorrrt. 3/5
Stevie Wonder
3/5
Very lovely album. 3/5
Beck
3/5
Just kind of alright. 3/5
Björk
3/5
Wasn't very attracted to this one which was disappointing because I really loved the Sugarcubes album I got a little while ago and I was looking forward to hearing some of her solo work. There's still many of hers yet to go, so I'm looking forward to that. 2.5/5
The White Stripes
4/5
Such a great album. Loved the move towards more piano heavy songs. 4/5
Primal Scream
3/5
Bleh. 2.5/5
Ice T
3/5
Little long but had fun with this one! 3.5/5
Depeche Mode
3/5
Best tracks were the instrumental focused ones toward the end. 2.5/5
Leonard Cohen
4/5
Loved it.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse
3/5
Last few songs were good, others were a bit forgetful. 3/5
Dire Straits
3/5
Not bad! Can't wait for their next one to pop up. 3/5
Led Zeppelin
3/5
Big Zeppelin fan, but this has been my least favorite so far. 3-3.5/5
Duran Duran
3/5
Pretty good listen. Familiar with \"Hungry Like the Wolf\", but the rest was a pleasant surprise. Kind of what I expected Depeche Mode to sound like but without the disappointment. 3.5/5
Elvis Presley
3/5
Pretty good, but short. He's the king though, so he does what he wants. 3/5
Queen
3/5
Very nice cohesive album where the sum is better than the parts. 3.5/5
Radiohead
3/5
Easy 3.5/5, I feel like this could be one to raise a half - full star after another listen or two.
The Verve
3/5
Pretty average, but that's what a lot of this late 90's mellow rock was to me in general. It's a decent listen but nothing I'd come back to. 3/5
Moby
4/5
Forgot how many hits were on this. Enjoyed it! 3.5/5
Marvin Gaye
3/5
I love me some MG, but all of his tunes outside the hits just sound like generic Motown R&B from that period. He even reuses the beat from Let's Get It On unironically on a different track. 2.5/5
Brian Eno
3/5
2.5/5
Doves
3/5
Nice listen. 3/5
Bob Dylan
3/5
Another good Bobby D album. 3.5/5
Dennis Wilson
4/5
Really enjoyed the variances in genres for the different tracks. It felt very refreshing going to the next song. Have to hand it to him just for the scope. 4/5
Weather Report
3/5
Synthetic jazz. 2.5/5
John Coltrane
3/5
Idk, just didn't really grab me. Maybe it was the sound, maybe it was just a bad day. Either way. 2.5/5
Beatles
3/5
Very early 60s bubblegum. Glad I got this one first, it's always amazing to see their transformation in such a short time. They still had some growing to do, but for the time it was groundbreaking. 3/5
Marvin Gaye
3/5
Best MG album on the list. Some tracks went on a little too long, but a very heartfelt record. 3/5
Eminem
4/5
Another classic from my teenage years. It's value has gone down a bit but still bops. I probably don't appreciate it as much as I would if I was going into it fresh. 3.5/5
The Rolling Stones
5/5
What a great listen! 5/5
Grant Lee Buffalo
3/5
Pretty good listen 3.5/5
Pulp
3/5
Pretty good listen, not something I'd come back to but it scratched an itch for the day. 3.5/5
Funkadelic
4/5
So good. The title track and Can You Get With That especially are stellar 4/5
Goldie
2/5
Not completely unlistenable like some on here would make it out to be. I do really find that style from the 90s where they had house music playing and a female singing monotonously over the instrumentals really annoying. And boy was it waaaaay longer than it had any right to be. 2/5
Yes
3/5
Always welcome a little Yes. 3.5/5
Bad Company
4/5
Pretty good all the way through. I want to give it a 5, but something is holding me back from doing it. So I'm going to go 4/5
Radiohead
3/5
Was pretty underwhelmed with this, my 2nd, Radiohead album. 3/5
The Clash
3/5
Nothing stellar. The opening track is great though! 2.5/5
Paul Simon
2/5
Pretty weak. 2.5
Radiohead
3/5
It had it's moments, but overall it was something I dont think I'd come back to for a relisten. 3/5
k.d. lang
3/5
I thought this was a really good country album. Reminded me a lot of the old Crystal Gayle songs from the 70s. 3.75/5
Killing Joke
3/5
Not a bad listen, nothing really jumped out as something I'd want to add and listen to again. 3/5
Incubus
4/5
I never gave Incubus much respect in their hayday, but this was a really good one. Besides the hits, it had a lot of hidden gems. 4/5
Adele
3/5
I can't say it was bad; her talent and voice are amazing. It just felt like it was missing something. 3/5
Steely Dan
4/5
Little more prog then I expected from SD, but it was really good.
Beastie Boys
3/5
I feel like I need to give this one another spin or two, but my first thought is 3.5/5
Simon & Garfunkel
3/5
Very peaceful. 3/5
My Bloody Valentine
2/5
Just felt very generic and uninspired. 2.5/5
Aimee Mann
2/5
Soooo boring. 2/5
Suicide
3/5
Miles Davis
3/5
Relaxing 3/5
David Bowie
3/5
I'm starting to wonder about my feelings towards Bowie. I just have not liked what I've heard so far. 2.5/5
Janis Joplin
5/5
This was sooooooo good! 5/5
The Doors
5/5
Another 5er. Such a good run of tracks. 5/5
David Bowie
4/5
Much preferred this over the newer material he's put out. 4/5
Guided By Voices
3/5
Not bad! Did have a very unique layout. 3.5/5
Simple Minds
3/5
Not bad. 3/5
Solomon Burke
4/5
Very good! 3.5/5
a-ha
2/5
Snores ville 2.5/5
King Crimson
3/5
Just wasn't feeling this one much. 3/5
Earth, Wind & Fire
2/5
So boring. Generic 70s funk/R&B. 2.5/5
Frank Sinatra
3/5
Pretty tame. Felt like I was walking the aisles of local Kmart circa 1991. 2.5/5
Cypress Hill
3/5
Cypress bout to kick it! Classic early 90s hip hop from one of the OGs. 3.5/5
Jamiroquai
3/5
This was a really solid listen. I've enjoyed Jamiroquai for a while, but this was the first time I noticed how much I'm reminded of Stevie Wonder when listening. 3.5/5
Neil Young
5/5
Really started to fall in love with this one. (Edit: Ended up falling in love with it.) 5/5
Soundgarden
3/5
I was just a little disappointed. Great album, but expected more. It suffers from being longer than it needs. Still willing to give it a 3.5/5
Maxwell
2/5
The Who
2/5
Budget brand Zeppelin. 2/5
Talvin Singh
2/5
These 90s house albums need to go. 2/5
This was such an amazing find. Solid 5/5 and will soon add it to my physical collection.
Ride
3/5
It was ok, not something I'd revisit, but it had it's moments I suppose. 3/5
Public Enemy
3/5
3.5/5 Soooo much better than "It Takes a Nation.."
The Damned
3/5
Nice surprise! 3.5/5
Madness
3/5
This was a pleasant surprise! I wish I could've used Spotify to hear the entire thing, but I'll keep an eye out and do another listen. 3.5/5
4/5
3.75/5
The Roots
3/5
Started off pretty strong; thought I was listening to a 4 or even 5, but it did start to slow down quality-wise as it went on. I'll probably listen to it again and see where I'm at then, but as of my first listen I'm sitting at a 3.5/5
Portishead
4/5
This one is so good. It does have a few dips, but overall is a very strong 4/5.
Django Django
3/5
After glancing over the reviews I was expecting a masterpiece, not so a reality. 3/5
Johnny Cash
3/5
Great live album. Cash knows how to play to a crowd. 3.5/5
Beck
4/5
Loved the flow. 4/5
New Order
3/5
This was actually pretty enjoyable. I'd give it a 3.5/5, but I think it could go up on additional listens.
Cat Stevens
4/5
Soooo good! 4/5
Sebadoh
3/5
Not bad! 3.5/5
Grizzly Bear
3/5
Nothing really groundbreaking but it was a decent enough listen. 3/5
Sabu
3/5
I do like a bit if congo/samba so I didn't really think this was bad. Nothing I'd ever come back to, but it was a nice little ride. 2.5/5
Prince
3/5
Funky 3.5/5
Slint
5/5
Wire
5/5
Sooooo good! 5/5
De La Soul
5/5
Overall, a very good album. (Came back to this and upped it to a 5/5)
Linkin Park
4/5
I tend to shit on LP more than I praise them, but it's mainly because their music was everywhere in the early 2000s. Now that I've had a respite from them for a while, it was refreshing to hear. 3.5/5
The Undertones
4/5
I had a real blast with this. It feels like a 4/5
Tangerine Dream
4/5
I was all aboard on this one. I dig the ambient instrumentals and haunting nature. It's a niche area of the spectrum, but I'm a fan. 3.5/5
Isaac Hayes
3/5
It had it's moments, although the length of those tracks is ridiculous. Time killers with no real uniqueness throughout. 2.5/5
Joy Division
2/5
I just love the instrumentals and the feel of the bum, but the monotone goth vocals just take so much away from it as a whole. 2.5/5
The Beach Boys
3/5
It had some solid moments. 3/5
Sister Sledge
3/5
Had some good vibes to it! 3/5
Motörhead
2/5
If you're a Spotify user do yourself a favor and go search for the original Hammersmith Live album. It's only 43 minutes, really no need to put yourself through the extra our tacked on that the expanded version puts you through. I'm sure this would have been great in person but it just all sounds the same. 2/5
Minor Threat
3/5
Pretty good hardcore album. 3/5
Bee Gees
3/5
Not incredibly ear catching, but a nice peaceful listen! 3/5
The Beach Boys
3/5
I imagine it was pretty great for it's time, but it lost me a bit in there. Still would give it a 3.5/5
Throwing Muses
4/5
Had to check it out on YouTube (throwing muses full album). The above album cover and title are incorrect. I wasn't very impressed during my first listen, I think because I was a little distracted. On a second playthrough I felt the brunt of it's quality! Easy 4/5
Röyksopp
3/5
Such a surprise entry! Had a lot of fun with this. 3.5/5
Pearl Jam
4/5
Classic grunge! Anyone growing up in the 90s should be familiar with this. 4/5
Michael Kiwanuka
4/5
This was such a nice and fresh surprise. 4/5
The Bees
4/5
This was so feel good. Will definitely give another listen to soon. 3.5/5

Bob Marley & The Wailers
3/5
Same old reggae
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
3/5
Short, but had a few very good moments. 3/5
Finley Quaye
3/5
Instrumentally I really liked what this album brought, but good lord were the vocals just not there. It sounded like a caricature of a Jamaican trying to do reggae and just missed so hard which is disappointing because I think there could have been something really good here. 2.5/5
Ash
3/5
I enjoyed this. Nothing groundbreaking, but it was good for a spin on a rainy Thursday. 3/5
Joni Mitchell
2/5
This was a tough one to get through. The voice is just grating through the first 3/4 of it. The last few tracks are somewhat redeemable, but ugh. 2/5
Beach House
3/5
Nice! I'll have to give this a couple more listens. 3.5/5
Madonna
3/5
Some great hits. Up there with her best work. 3.5/5

2Pac
3/5
Hasn't aged as well as expected. Couple real amazing songs, but a majority just doesn't hit the mark anymore. 3/5
