1001 Albums Summary

I went into this album thinking that i wouldn't like it but wow... I was surprised to say the least. It really is one of the greatest pop albums of the 80s. With every track I can hear the influence it made on even today's music. Can't give anything less than a 5.

Decent album with delucious synth sounds but reminds me a lot of Naked and Famous and I think they do it better. Great opening track tho.

The two most popular tracks are bangers but all together it's just not for me :(

Some biig bangers on this one and you can really hear the J Dilla influence (he literally mentions him). Nice sounds, cool samples.

I still just don't like Bowie that much... But this album surprised me. The instrumental tracks were awesome and with those this one is his best I've heard so far.

The best album that I discovered here so far... I didn't know the band before besides their popular song, Happy House, which I love. After a few listens it's definitely going to be among my favourites.

A really unique pice of art... For some reason I thought UK rap started in the 2010s :( A very real album, which I didn't think would put me through a journey like this The first song made me think of the movie Beau is Afraid lol

Just some nice music to have on in the background but I wouldn't listen to it otherwise

I would just never listen to this type of stuff... I give it 2 stars just because it's not as bad as 90s pop

I mean I was never big on coldplay but this is an okay album. I obviously liked the very popular songs on it, but most of the time it's just the band trying to sound like radiohead, but they're just not as good.

One of the absolute best albums of all time. A looot of 10/10 songs like Runaway, Power, Monster and so on... Nicki Minaj's best performance and I could go on and on. Everybody should listen to this one.

I've always wanted to listen to this album but never got around to actually doing it. I can hear so many influences on this one. This basically paved the way for many of my favourite artists playing today. A very enjoyable listen and the first song is the best on it.

I had no idea this was gonna be this good wow. 2000s hiphop can be actually good? Whaat? INSAANE instrumentals. Most of the first half made me dance and stuff it was so vibey. Its only a 4 star because the second half had some weaker songs. And I'm not talking about the last song that's a vibe. Many eeasy 5 star songs but altogether a good 4. The best album in weeks

Instrumentals sound like if Aphex Twin met disney which is amazing. I have to get used to her singing style. My favorite track was Notget

A really good first album and one that they could build upon to make London Calling

I loved this one actually. I’m not a big outkast fan but this one was a whole ride. Incredible stories and songwriting. I prefer the first half to the second one. The standout song wasnt even Hey Ya which is insane

a masterpiece theough and through… it is a bit long but I dont think there are skips on it. It’s all structured nicely and all the songs are beautifully recorded and mixed so theres that too. It has one of my favorite songs Cupid de locke also

I mean based on the album cover I was expecting some hard rock and what i got was a kind of rock and roll ballad filled record. I enjoyed it by the end more than I thought but its still just fine

I did enjoy this for like 10 songs. It sounds pretty, the lyrics are nice. Crazy what you can achieve with talented songwriters. And the folk sound of these two albums suit her voice so much better. She should do this instead of shitty albums like her latest midnights
