I really got into Jeff Buckley in 2024 and I am excited this is my first album of 2025. Stunningly beautiful album. I wish he was able to make more music, but at least he left the world this masterpiece. Relatively dull '70s Hippie folk rock that doesn't move the needle for me, except for the song "Almost Cut My Hair". This is the first time I have heard this song (and most of the songs on this album), and it absolutely blew me away. This David Crosby led song really changes the entire outlook on this album for me, and brings it up a peg. Really disappointed in the Neil Young led tracks as I figured they would be the most interesting to me Best Song: Almost Cut My Hair Rating: 6.0/10 3 Stars

Look It's the Beach Boys, people call this one of the top 5 albums of all time. Revolutionary, etc. It's just not for me. I do not like this album, but bonus points for it being so iconic. Best Song: Wouldn't it be Nice Rating: 4.0/10 (Forgettable) 2 Stars

While I am obviously no expert, it feels as though there is no note out of place in this exposition. Wonderfully crafted, and truly beautiful music. My ignorance for jazz music makes me feel like I can't properly appreciate this, but nonetheless. Love Miles Davis. Still think he has some better albums in comparison. This album undoubtedly kicks ass. I understand the love and acclaim. While this definitely isn't anything that I would listen repeatedly, an occasional revisit is nice every once in while. Best Song: River Rating: 8.5/10 4 Stars

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Its perfect. Its a 1000% perfect album. I wish Frank Ocean released music more frequently, because the world needs it. The hardest part of this for me, is coming up with the best song. Pyramids, Forrest Gump, Pink Matter, all worthy choices. I think I will have to go to the song I've replayed the most out of all of Franks discography, Bad Religion. Stunningly beautiful and genuine. Absolutely love this album. Nick Cave is definitely hit or miss artist for most. A great voice, incredible songwriting, deeply harrowing music. This style of music in Ghosteen unfortunately does not work for me. It is probably some of the darkest and saddest music I can think of, but its the "Ambient" style of music that really takes most of the luster away from me. Hauntingly Beautiful is the description I would use for this. Best Song: Wild Horses Rating: 4.5/10 2 Stars

Oh hell yea, this kicks some ass. Never listened to this much Iron Maiden before but I really enjoyed most of this. Run for the Hills was a huge video game soundtrack memory for me and I was pumped to rediscover it. Will I go back to this? First album of this project that I really, really disliked. It starts off well enough with some 90's grunge/garage rock and it devolves into a cheezy 90 movies action movie soundtrack that gets worse every single track. Couldn't take it seriously towards the end. Best Song: Run For the Hills Rating: 2/10 1 Stars
