Radiohead
1/5
When can we, as a society, stop pretending like Radiohead makes good music? Holy shit this is horrendous slop. Hard to understand the lead singer when his head is so far up his ass. If a band has a successful album, and they get pissy and make their next album "to change up their sound to something they like" there is a 100% chance it will be self-indulgent garbage. If you can't tell I hate Radiohead's Kid A.

Jeff Buckley

I really got into Jeff Buckley in 2024 and I am excited this is my first album of 2025. Stunningly beautiful album. I wish he was able to make more music, but at least he left the world this masterpiece. My favorite song is probably Lover, You Should've Come Over, but this version of Hallelujah is incredible as well.

Relatively dull '70s Hippie folk rock that doesn't move the needle for me, except for the song "Almost Cut My Hair". This is the first time I have heard this song (and most of the songs on this album), and it absolutely blew me away. This David Crosby led song really changes the entire outlook on this album for me, and brings it up a peg. Really disappointed in the Neil Young led tracks as I figured they would be the most interesting to me

Look It's the Beach Boys, people call this one of the top 5 albums of all time. Revolutionary, etc. It's just not for me. I do not like this album, but bonus points for it being so iconic.

Miles Davis

While I am obviously no expert, it feels as though there is no note out of place in this exposition. Wonderfully crafted, and truly beautiful music. My ignorance for jazz music makes me feel like I can't properly appreciate this, but nonetheless. Love Miles Davis. Still think he has some better albums in comparison.

This album undoubtedly kicks ass. I understand the love and acclaim. While this definitely isn't anything that I would listen repeatedly, an occasional revisit is nice every once in while.

Frank Ocean
5/5
This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Its perfect. Its a 1000% perfect album. I wish Frank Ocean released music more frequently, because the world needs it. The hardest part of this for me, is coming up with the best song. Pyramids, Forrest Gump, Pink Matter, all worthy choices. I think I will have to go to the song I've replayed the most out of all of Franks discography, Bad Religion. Stunningly beautiful and genuine. Absolutely love this album.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
2/5
Nick Cave is definitely hit or miss artist for most. A great voice, incredible songwriting, deeply harrowing music. This style of music in Ghosteen unfortunately does not work for me. It is probably some of the darkest and saddest music I can think of, but its the "Ambient" style of music that really takes most of the luster away from me. Hauntingly Beautiful is the description I would use for this.

First album of this project that I really, really disliked. It starts off well enough with some 90's grunge/garage rock and it devolves into a cheezy 90 movies action movie soundtrack that gets worse every single track. Couldn't take it seriously towards the end.

Look, new Coldplay is incomprehensibly bad. Its the worst. The worst type of music, music that is designed to be played at grocery stores. However their old stuff absolutely rips. I saw Coldplay in 2022 and was not really excited, but was blown away and became a fan (of the old stuff) for life. You'd be hard-pressed to find 4 songs in a row on any album that rip as hard as Shiver, Spies, Sparks, and Yellow. Other than that, the songs are pretty boring and dull

I've been dreading the day I have to listen to a Bjork album. It has finally arrived.
Let me preface: She seems like a nice person, she makes music where she looks like she is having a ton of fun.
This fucking sucks, its so bad. It's like a middle schooler stole some redbulls from their parents fridge and made an album by themselves in the garage with instruments they were completely unfamiliar with.
