Day1- how cool would it have been to be there just to see Got My Mojo Working

Day2- i wish i was introduced to the talking heads when i was younger. such a cool album

Day3 - loud and fast. i’ve never been a huge metal guy but if you’re gong to listen to this kind of music it should be good and this is good ps. Iron Maiden should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Day4 - i know the zombies by their hits but now i see why this album is considered a classic. the track list is so good going from song to song and the harmonies are amazing. i remember then touring a few years ago and playing the album live and i’m upset i didn’t see them when i had the chance. if you like pet sounds you’ll like this one

Day5 - not my cup of tea. Sour Times and Glory Box are good but the rest no thanks

Day6 - the first 2 are great after that i liked yearnin learnin and africano. i wasn’t into the rest of them

Day7 - i have never heard of massive attack. definitely worth the listen. blue lines and daydreaming were my favorites. would recommend

Day8 - not my favorite t. rex album

Day9 - solid album

Day10 - i don’t know if this is an album i needed to hear before i die but it was ok

Day11 - 1 good song 4 bad covers

Day12 - what a talent too bad he’s such a shithead but this is an amazing live album

Day13 - maybe it’s not perfect but it’s close six great songs on one album and it’s not even a greatest hits album

Day14 - i’m on a hot streak with awesome albums. it’s amazing how well these songs hold up after 50 years

Day15 - glad we have willie and his music

Day16 - makes me want to dance like christopher walken

Day17 - amazing what a great song interpreter can do with already great songs

Day19 - ridiculous but kinda cool. a crazy concept album that nobody in their right might would think of.

Day20 - it’s a fine bowie album and if i keep listening im sure it will grown on me

Day21 - what a voice

Day22 - there’s a good podcast from “who cares about the rock hall” about fela kuti from 2021 when he was nominated. he was an interesting guy and this album is great

Day23 - other than no woman no cry i didn’t know what to expect from this album. it’s almost 50 years old and still sounds amazing. definitely adding to my library

Day24 - i’ve heard of arcade fire but not their music and it’s not for me. every generation has their moody music but this is pretty terrible

Day25 - this is an easy one. other than michelle which i personally don’t like this is a classic that everyone should hear

Day26 - pretty good album. i like their sound.

Day27 - never would have listened to this but it’s not bad. kinda spacey, kinda weird like a french fatboy slim or daft punk

Day29 - this should be on the albums no one should ever listen to list

Day30 - theres a reason this album is considered a masterpiece

Day31 - i was just a teen when this album came out it was my first intro to bonnie raitt. i remember liking a couple songs then but now i can appreciate this album and see why it was so loved and awarded and if you’ve never heard her version of angel from montgomery you should know.

Day32 - i don’t remember roxy music growing up but i’ve been catching up the last 5 years or so.

Day33 - i’ve only heard me and bobby mcgee off this album and it’s not even the best song on the album. her voice is awesome and she can scream like no one else.

Day34 - more than just sultans of swing

Day36 - i read some reviews before i listened and didn’t have a good feeling. after a couple songs i thought this isn’t too bad, but it just never picked up. it sounds like it was made in a basement with every instrument that was lying around

Day37 - sly was a genius and this is an amazing album

Day38 - another cool album i wouldn’t have given a chance to. discovering stuff like this is what make this so much fun y

Day39 - i’m blown away that even one arcade fire is considered essential much less two of these turds

Day40 - i’m sure this is only the first r.e.m. album that i’ve got and it’s a good one.

Day41 - one good song doesn’t make an album worth listening to.

Day42 - first of all it’s not on apple music which is a pain. listening to it on youtube just isn’t the same but it seems less funky and more psychedelic

Day43 - i’m a big fan of 90’s alternative but this mumbly slacker garage band isn’t for me

Day44 - crazy how many stevie wonder songs that i don’t know. what a great listen

Day45 - meh

Day46 - sounds like if the doors made 90’s music

Day47 - it’s a good album and the smiths are great but morrisey is such a a-hole it penalizes the rating

Day48 - i was never a fan of the gorillaz but i tried listening with an open mind but other than clint eastwood i couldn’t get into it

Day49 - maybe at the club late at night this might be cool but i don’t know who could listen to this on a wednesday

Day50 - this isn’t the worst i’ve heard so far but it’s not far off l. 50 albums in and i’ve heard more bad than good

Day51 - thats a big texas sized 10-4 for this one from me

Day52 - i don’t have the blues everyday but i can listen to the blues everyday

Day53 - i went in fully expecting to hate this but listening to this on a slow sunday morning was enjoyable

Day54 - other than song2 i wasn’t crazy about this one

Day55 - shock g(rip) was an under appreciated writer, rapper. doowutchyalike is awesome. this is a fun album and the sound is so much better than the doo doo mumble rappers.

Day56 - it’s not rumours but it’s still really good

Day57 - a better album than i remembered. violet is a good one

Day58 - the coolest guy making another cool album

Day59 - Probably the best album of 2004 and still great 20years later

Day60 - idk if i would listen to any of them except tom sawyer or limelight on purpose again but i enjoyed the album

Day61 - i can understand why bjork is on the list. her songs and her voice are interesting

Day62 - this is the most 90’s generic rock. silverchair or the toadies would have been a better pick.

Day63 - thank you tom petty for leaving us with such great albums

Day64 - he has a smooth voice

Day65 - my generation is a classic song but the rest of the album is a lot of soul and blues covers. i want to give it more stars but i didn’t grow up listening to the who so they aren’t as important to me as the beatles or the stones

Day66 - elvis’ voice and the jordanaires singing backup is a recipe for a great album. such a night is my favorite elvis song

Day67 - that was weird

Day67 - the first record i bought and i wore it out and still love it. curt smith on psych always makes me laugh

Day69 - what a great band that just got better over time. should be in the rock hall

Day70. - i don’t know how many pet shop boys albums are on this list but this isn’t the one i would pick

Day71 - so this is terrible. i know everyone has different tastes in music but who’s listening to this at work or in the car ?

Day72 - here he is mr. dynamite, the hardest working man in show business. this is a fun, short album

Day73 - i only new 2 leonard cohen songs before this and i wasn’t expecting anything so good and so 80’s

Day74 - genius poets,maybe-bad karaoke, sounds like it-punks with synthesizer and violins, that too. guess who liked it though? this guy

Day75 - a really good album with 2 classics

Day76 - crazy that an album was released with just 3 songs

Day77 - maybe it’s good for background music but that would be about it

Day78 - this is a great debut album.hearing al kooper’s story about discovering lynerd skynerd and really making southern rock popular is awesome. jacksonville in the 70’s was like seattle in the 90’s

Day79 - beautiful album

Day80 - sounds like the background music at a wellness store

Day81 - it sounds like the arctic monkeys singing james bond theme songs

Day82 - can’t say enough about the beatles and what they mean to me

Day83 - i’m glad to see this album on here. truly one that should be heard

Day84 - who doesn’t love some pop schmaltz. this album is definitely top heavy, the last couple weren’t great. i just saw britney is in the top 10 all time female singers in album sales so i would think this would be rated higher since most of you own a copy

Day85 - not what i was expecting. sounds a lot like ryan adams to me.this is a good album

Day86 - i wanna like eminem but i think this is such a product of the time it’s hard to listen to.

Day87 - i know he’s culturally significant and he sounds good but the lyrics didnt age well

Day88 - i think radiohead is one of those bands that you love or hate. i don’t love them

Day89 - smooth, soulful. solomon burke could sing the phone book and make it sound cool

Day90 - I remember connection being a big hit in ‘95 but never listened to the album. better than i expected

Day91 - this is a tough one. method man is great the beat flows well, but it feels long and repetitive

Day92 - a really good album with two monster hits on it.

Day93 - i’m not the target audience for adele. her voice is good and i made it through the album but i wouldn’t do it again.

Day94 - if avocado toast was an album

Day95 - sit back with a drink and relax to the smooth sounds of old blue eyes

Day96 - there’s a reason they’re in the rock and roll hall of fame. this is a really good rock album more than just smoke on the water

Day97 - discovering great albums like this is what i’m here for.

Day98 - common and kanye sound really good together. the music and beats are good to bad the lyrics are lame

Day99 - i really liked medication it sounds like an oasis song

Day100 - a milestone day and i get one of my favorite’90’s artists

Day101 - a strange xtc album to choose when there’s at least two better ones.

Day102 - a good album just not the best album from the byrds

Day102 - i was ready to judge this one before i listened. i’m not a radiohead fan but this is a good one

Day103 - american pie and vincent and masterpieces

Day104 - crazy that this came out in 1977 it seems like it’s from a different era. i don’t know how many muddy waters albums are on this list but this is a great one

Day105 - if you think mick jagger will still be out there trying to be a rock star at age fifty, then you are sadly, sadly mistaken - dennis hope

Day106 - i don’t know who’s voice i like better otis redding or sam cooke but i could listen to him all day

Day107 - seems like a big debut song from the debut album hurt the band overall. gen-x can’t help but be pulled to this music after getting raised like we were

Day108 - i’m a big fan of first wave on xm radio and i’ve never heard of this group and im a little disappointed.

Day109 - i didn’t think i knew any of these songs but i realized black sabbath is ubiquitous and i hear these songs in tv shows and ringtones

Day110 - i don’t know the bongo band but i’ve heard these songs In rap and hip hop for the last forty years

Day111 - does this age well? sounds good but the lyrics lame

Day112 - really talented, a good debut album with at least 3 classic early 2000’s pop hits. i’m sure they would go back and tone down some of the pharrell slickness if they could

Day113 - obviously a great rock album i’m just not a big ac/dc guy

Day114 - better than i thought something called super furry animals would be

Day114 - jesus i can’t even put into words how much i hate this whole album

Day115 - funny that this is the second album that has started with “the girl from ipanema” i didn’t know the bossa nova was something you should listen to. it’s really good

Day116 - it’s a shame that the same problems that chuck d wrote about 30+ years ago still apply. by the time i got to arizona is a fantastic song

Day117 - i don’t know if this album belongs on this list but it was a bold album in the early 00’s to try to bring back glam rock.

Day118 - i think jack white is really talented and makes cool music

Day119 - one of the best hard rock albums whether your a metallica fan or not. all the people who trash this one are mad this album introduced metallica to the mainstream. on a side note what a bunch of d-bags.

Day120 - you can hear their influence on the new wave that was coming

Day121 - if i reviewed this 30 years ago it would be five stars but as good as it is if i never have to hear the eagles again i’ll be happy

Day122 - so good that psycho killer isn’t even the best song on the album. uh-oh loves comes to town and don’t worry about the government are amazing.

Day123 - probably like a lot of people i’ve never heard of moby grape. i’m sure there’s an interesting history behind this band cause the music is pretty good and i bet they influenced many others

Day124 - electric folk rock right up my alley

Day125 - how great would it be to be this talented and weird and have the opportunity to make the music you want to without rules

Day126 - that’s a good album

Day127 - not something i would listen to everyday but it really is a beautiful album

Day128 - it blows my mind that 20 year olds were making such great music

Day129 - i kinda was ready not to like this one but it’s pretty freakin good

Day130 - walk this way and sweet emotion are classic rock staples for a reason they’re awesome

Day131 - shoegaze is a term i’ve never heard. ride sounds like oasis and blur had a baby that tried to be different and it didn’t work

Day131 - if you told me this was one long song i wouldn’t be able to argue with you

Day132 - amazing and timeless

Day133 - it’s 1990 mtv is still huge and this album was everywhere. the top 40 was all over the place musically but this felt like something new and it still holds up today

Day134 - they said f it let’s go get weird and i’m here for it and im getting that t-shirt

Day135 - much more brit pop on here than i expected. i liked this better than blur not as much as oasis

Day136 - sounds like they should have stopped the list before 2010

Day137 - why is a must hear album so hers to find? it does sound pretty good, kinda like bruce springsteen and richard thompson

Day138 - it’s really good but kinda wild i’ve never heard one of these songs before

Day139 - i’m not a big fan. roundabout is a classic and the rest aren’t bad just not my cup of prog tea

Day140 - steely dan good , donald fagen solo bad

Day142 - if you just listen to this album and didn’t know the name of the band or the album name it would probably rate higher. the title song is shockingly good

Day143 - this is so good and it’s not even in my top five favorite springsteen albums

Day144 - i don’t know much about kings of leon other than their only by the night album but it seems light years better than this mess

Day145 - back to back kings of leon seems like a cruel joke. there’s thousands of artists and these goobers get at least 2 albums on this list

Day146 - 30 years old and it holds up really well. four really good songs on here

Day147 - madman across the water is one of my favorite songs and levon and tiny dancer are just timeless gems.

Day148 - could be a good instrumental album

Day149 - weird is good and this is weird

Day150 -. you might be tired of these songs but it’s hard to deny how massive this album was/is. sweet child o’mine was a mtv staple and paradise is so good in the “can’t hardly wait” movie

Day151 - i am always down to get into sad melancholy music but grizzly bear is for a different sad generation

Day152 - going in blind to this album other than golden years and it’s amazing

Day153 - i’m ashamed i never took time to listen to this before now it might be the best 30 year old album i never heard

Day154 - i prefer the more bluesy sound of tres hombres but this was a huge album with the iconic car and videos

Day155 - i would rather listen to actual bees

Day156 - the perfect live album

Day157 - buckle up this is a long album. i have met my flute quota for the rest of the list.

Day158 - great album from beginning to end

Day159 - take out that goofy ooby dooby song and this is an album worthy of top 100 or better all time

Day160 - husker dü is not my favorite band that came out of minnesota in the 1980’s but they sound cool and i enjoyed listening to the whole album

Day161 - mr brightside is such a great song, it’s reached levels of ubiquity that not many songs have before and it’s crazy that all these things that i’ve done is about matt pinfield. this album is still good 20 years later

Day162 - i wasn’t familiar with these songs other than take me to the river and it might not be for everyone but those three made unbelievable music together

Day163 - don’t do drugs kids but if you do, try and be as cool as lou reed

Day164 - i like these foul-mouthed dudes the lyrics are fun and the beats are so good. honestly it has a hand full of really good songs. so fresh,so clean,ms. jackson and b.o.b stood out to me. put them in the rock and roll hall of fame

Day165 - i won’t let my dislike sway my review. 3 huge songs that everyone knows, but it’s really such over produced pop. albums like this i wish you could give half stars cause 3.5 seems fair

Day166 - i like the psychedelic soul description i was into cloud nine and runaway child running wild but the rest maybe a little to much of sad sack songs

Day167 - one of my favorite albums ever and it has only gotten better over time

Day168 - another all time great album and i learned that pastime paradise is the music for gangsta’s paradise which was a fun discovery

Day169 - what a great album i didn’t know anything about gang of four previously and i really enjoyed it

Day170 -i was prepared to hate this and give it one star but it’s good. much better than either kendrick lamar album i’ve had to listen to

Day171 - gimme that cool jazz. i wish i would have got this album on a sunday morning but im glad i got it.

Day172 - listening to different types of jazz is interesting. this is much different than a miles davis but still good

Day173 - i listened before looking at the reviews and they’re honestly higher than i expected. it’s loud,kind of a mess but fun

Day174 - i enjoy listening to ray davies voice but most of the kinks songs don’t click with me

Day175 - another cool listen from the king. wearin that loved on look was the highlight for me, the momma and daddy songs not so much

Day176 - they gotta throw in a turd to make you appreciate the good music

Day177 - the first two songs are all time classics and i really enjoyed “long time gone”

Day178 - makes me wonder how many war albums are in this list cause this one is just ok

Day179 - i can’t wrap my ears around kate bush. i’ve read she was ahead of her time and maybe she still is

Day180 - highly enjoyable album and i don’t think it’s his best album. i never get tired of “to be young”

Day181 - listening to whole albums is the best way to take in wilco. i knew a few songs before this list but now after my second album i can see why wilco is on here.

Day182 - i’ve always heard this is a classic queen album but other than bohemian rhapsody i didn’t love the rest of it

Day183 - what a great album full of the songs my mom listened to when i was little

Day184 - i can think of a handful of ‘80s artists that won’t make the list with better albums, but it’s nostalgic and i watched “the secret of my success” and “beverly hills cop” after listening to this

Day185 - second nick drake album and i enjoyed this one much more than five leaves left

Day186 - these real wordy fun story-telling songs that joni mitchell writes are what i love

Day187 - very enjoyable. what a great album title. there’s 3 or 4 really fun songs on here

Day188 - obviously very musically talented and mozart probably would love them but does ever song have to have a synthesizer solo? extra star for the album concept

Day189 - album title says it all. rock on

Day190 - i wasn’t expecting a bollywood movie soundtrack but it’s kinda fun and now im gonna try and watch shalimar

Day191 - six amazing songs on one album makes it a masterpiece. chris cornell’s will be remembered as one of the greatest front men ever

Day192 - one of my all time favorites and i’d say a perfect album

Day193 - first of all beck is a genius. sea change is definitely more relaxed than most of his albums but it’s amazing how he can keep re-inventing himself

Day194 - a pleasant sounding albium nothing groundbreaking or special but i liked it

Day195 - there’s some good songs but also some really bad over-produced crap. looking back those three had tons of talent unfortunately with lots of drama around them. they should release a stripped down version of this like the beatles did with let it be

Day196 - wasn’t familiar with this group but i thought it was a pretty easy album to listen to

Day197 - a suzanne vega album with none of the three songs i know, but after listening this is a worthy album full of really good songs

Day198 - better than i thought it would be. more like oasis less like blur. weird strategy to start with the biggest song but there are at least three other songs worth hearing

Day199 - this freakin guy just oozes cool. this a late night album for everyone

Day200 - aimee mann is a name i’ve heard for thirty years or more. i know the critics love her but it isn’t what i would listen to by choice

Day201 - classic,nostalgic,influential and just plain fun. it’s like that

Day202 - i saw electronica and was ready to hate it but it’s pretty good sort of daft punk meets the pet shop boys

Day203 - this album is full of wonderful songs. wait until tomorrow, little wing, castles made of sand and bold as love are going into my library

Day204 - if bert from mary poppins got a record deal. i don’t hate it and it was kinda silly to listen to

Day205 - you can keep your beeps and boops

Day206 - it’s wild that the sex pistols had one album and it’s an all time great

Day207 - i love the new wave punk sound of siouxsie and the banshees, missing persons, berlin. i wish i would have been introduced to more of it growing up.

Day208 - a genius doing genius things

Day209 - maybe the best band name i’ve never heard of. It sounds like the revenge of the nerds made an album

Day210 - the word genius is thrown around a lot (by me) but dylan writes these amazing lyrics and thus album is an all time classic

Day211 - a big band banger

Day212 - judging by the music this is a five star album i try not to judge artists personal lifes but it’s crazy what the last four years did to clapton’s reputation

Day212 - not my favorite but it’s still bowie and to still be making relevant music after six decades is incredible

Day213 - whiny nasally brit pop that i hope im about done with

Day214 - maybe because i’ve never heard of this guy but it sounds like craig mac or the wu tang clan and that’s not bad but it’s not original sounding

Day215 - i enjoyed the sound but not really the lyrics

Day216 - it’s good to get an album that i know but not all the songs are familiar and it holds up to the reputation

Day217 - i’m sorta surprised how much i enjoyed this album. i wasn’t familiar with them and they remind me of siouxsie and the banshees

Day218 - another day another very average brit pop album. i like “alright” well enough but im not adding any to my playlists

Day219 - almost fifty years ago and still just as relevant and it’s very cool

Day220 - gen-x is the coolest most melancholy generation and i love it. this is not bad and i really liked madeleine mary

Day221 - rating great bands that you don’t like is tough. this is obviously a great album but something about the doors never clicked with me

Day222 - three stars seems generous for this album. 10cc has three songs i know and none on this album but the mob has spoken and three stars it is

Day223 - from the videos on mtv to listening to the album just for the music this is a masterpiece

Day225 - this was a surprisingly good album. the lyrics are fantastic and the music isn’t overbearing. i put it on and just chilled

Day225 - the police are definitely in my top fifteen favorite bands and synchronicity is my favorite by them. this album has six hits that i’ve loved since i was nine

Day226 - not many bands get better after fifteen years together but to me this is better than blood sugar sex magik. this album kinda defined their sound since then

Day226 - sounds like this would be the house band in a roadhouse knockoff movie

Day227 - generic indie sounds from a forgettable band

Day228 - not at all what i thought cowboy junkies would sound like. interesting and different the sweet jane cover was good

Day229 - if you thought queen was operatic and over the top you haven’t heard the opening song on this album, twenty minutes of wild lyrics and amazing drums and guitars. this isn’t a rush album i would go back to but they’re definitely pioneers in what they do

Day230 - i enjoy the hits but it happened in monterey was my favorite. the line”broke somebody’s heart and i fear it was mine” is a good one

Day231 - i really liked the other massive attack album i had earlier but this one missed the mark

Day232 - sounds like the doors

Day233 - i tried it. i didn’t like it

Day234 - any band that can stay active with some original members for over fifty years is impressive especially if one of those members was lemmy kilmeister. this album is long and loud with a couple songs worth listening to

Day235 - the sounds of early nineties electo dance are kinda fun. only love can break your heart is good

Day236- sit back with a drink and enjoy this little nugget. jazz doesn’t go out of style and bill evans trio is going into my jazz favorites

Day238 - i love waylon jennings and billy joe shaver wrote him a classic. ain’t no god in mexico and black rose are fantastic songs

Day238 - i liked this album, maybe not as much as chaos factory but proud mary alone makes it great

Day239 - idk every great band doesn’t need every one of their albums on this list, but that’s just like opinion man

Day242 - this was hard to listen to. it’s like the american version of whiny brit-pop

Day243 - beats are good the lyrics are hit and miss

Day244 - i don’t know what’s better the first four songs or the last four. either way this is an amazing album

Day245 - do i need a live album of songs that are on studio albums already on this list? i don’t think so

Day246 - this sound like the beatles but also like it could have been recorded yesterday. there should be a list of best album names cause this would be on it.

Day247 - sucks to call this classic old school rap but it’s so much better than 2024 rap. forget kendrick lamar give me the wu tang clan in the super bowl halftime show

Day248 - the best beastie boys album. sure doesn’t seem like it’s 35 years old

Day249 - what did i just listen to. i can just hear the parents tell kids to turn down this noise

Day250 - another enjoyable bossa nova jazz album that im glad i listened to

Day251 - 1973 was a heck of a year for music with so many great albums from different genres and i thought i liked prog rock but it turns out i only like it a little bit

Day252 - what a run of success ccr had. this is the third album and maybe not as good as cosmo’s factory this does have three smash hits

Day253 - apparently big with the indie crowd it sounds like something you would hear if you were visiting castles in westeros

Day254 - i gotta say it was better than i remembered. i think billy corgans writing helped

Day255 - not many albums had this kind of cultural impact, half the white boys i knew had raiders hats. listening now is rough cause it’s so of it’s time

Day256 - not as hardcore as i was expecting and i can definitely hear the influence they had on nine inch nails. this was a nice surprise album

Day257 - this is a forgettable album, the jazz sound is pretty good but just seems generic

Day258 - this is what i would call an essential album

Day259 - the first three are iconic but the song brothers in arms is as poetic as any bob dylan song and probably my favorite dire straits song ever

Day260 - music is the best way to get your message to the people so why is this not on apple music?

Day261 - i came here hoping to discover albums like this. world music is not something i would normally listen to but this is good stuff

Day262 - i wasn’t a fan when this came out and in light of all the puff daddy news coming out in 2024 i don’t think this ages well

Day263 - lyrics are corny, the concept doesn’t work and just because you can use samples doesn’t mean you have to

Day264 - a fun album that deserves a drink in your hand

Day265 - i don’t know if this is supposed to be serious or not but it’s kind of fun. he sounds like martin short singing jackie rogers jr

Day266 - there isn’t a bad song on this album good job duran duran

Day267 - if you told me this was an early pink floyd album i wouldn’t argue

Day268 - the same boomers who fight against the gays and drag queens we’re listening to the dolls and wanting to be as cool as them. put them in the rock and roll hall of fame before they’re all dead.

Day269 - i enjoyed revisiting hwy61, bob is an amazing wordsmith

Day270 - i guess i just like the hits you can have the rest of their songs

Day271 - even though i had to find the track list and search for the songs it was worth it

Day172 - i don’t know if understanding words would make this album better

Day273 - 1989 had some great albums and this should have been bigger than it was in the states.

Day274 - i listened a couple times cause i want to like this but it’s not happening

Day275. - i’m glad they finally got into the rock n roll hall of fame they influenced so many including the rubinoos

Day276 - seems like a win win. the sampled artists get new life to a new audience

Day277 - if they would just take out half the noises it would be digestible

Day278 - more than just hallelujah, i was kinda surprised how good this album was

Day279 - kind of an underrated band overshadowed by the big 80’s bands like the cute,rem and the smiths but they have some really good songs

Day280 - this dude really is everywhere. i could do without all the talking before the songs start but it’s a fun album

Day281 - i thought maybe they would be more than their one hit but then i listened and realized i was wrong

Day282 - this is a top tier prof rock album

Day283 - glad to see this one on apple music now. it’s one of the best rap albums ever

Day284 - call it reggae, punk or rock it’s still awesome

Day285 - real raw rock and roll

Day286 - maybe in 1978 this was something cool and different,not that it’s bad but it doesn’t seem important now.

Day286 - jerry lee lewis is early rock and roll royalty and this is fun stuff. if the rock hall went back and threw out every piece of crap artist who lived it would empty the place out so i’ll separate the artist from the person

Day288 - a true legend and worthy of her queen of soul title

Day289 - to have the talent to make an album like this and not turn out silly only nick cave could pull this off

Day290 - i feel should get an award for having to listen to my third arcade fire album. hopefully this is the last one

Day291 - i didn’t know these songs but they’re good and how can you not like the monkeys

Day293 - i don’t love every track but my head does bob on most of them.i do wonder if they change the trump lyrics during concerts nowadays?

Day294 - other than concrete jungle and stir it up i didn’t really care for

Day295 - i read electonic and was ready to hate it but this is more folk and it’s pretty good

Day296 - the story of superstition being written for jeff beck and taken back by stevie’s management because they knew it would be a hit is crazy and they were right without superstition on this album it wouldn’t be as well viewed

Day297 - i can hear the strokes and devo listening to this album but i would rather listen to the strokes and devo

Day298 - i was surprised how good this one was. he definitely had a prince , stevie wonder thing going but i guess he couldn’t follow this up

Day299 - an album for the broken hearted and melancholy. i’m neither and i loved it

Day300 - this is the second time i’ve got an album by a one hit wonder and the one hits not even on the album

Day301 - rated knowing how influential the pixies were and where is my mind is a good one

Day303 - i really liked the ali farka touré album and this one is almost as good. petit metier was my favorite

Day307 - they’re a good indie rock band. they might not be popular but they have put out some good stuff. even though it’s not on this album counting crows covers “start again” and it’s a good one

Day310 - a little of this goes a long way but i’ve always liked dinosaur jr. and their sloppy guitar sound

Day311 - this is another great bowie album other than the across the universe cover that i didn’t care for

Day312 - i was so into grunge and alternative in 1993 to appreciate how good the wu tang clan was and this one has hit after hit

Day313 - a seminal record in this young man’s life and 33 years later it’s still one of the best top to bottom albums ever

Day314 - i’ve tried a few times over the years to get into sleater-kinney even though they haven’t clicked with me yet ill keep trying

Day315 - this is a fantastic rap album with so many hits and the reason they’re in the rock and roll hall of fame

Day316 - it’s fine, it definitely sounds like a jamiroquai album it doesn’t have the only two songs by him that i know but they all kinda sound the same

Day317 - from first to last this a complete rock album. boston should get into the rock and roll hall of fame but it’s too bad brad delp won’t be there when they do, what a voice he had

Day318 - i love talking heads and i rated the last album to low but ill make it up on this one

Day319 - the best oasis album. i can’t wait for the tour next year to see if they can not kill each other

Day320 - this one is going in the most underrated album file. it’s fast,loud and the lyrics are awesome

Day322 - prowler got me and i held on for the whole loud album

Day323 - can it be influencial and bad at the same time? i do like the bass playing throughout

Day325 - i don’t know how i’ve never heard this band before but it’s right up my alley

Day326 - the two massive hits carry this but the rest are still good

Day327 -the first two cover songs were good but i really got into it after “out of focus”. the drumming on this album is excellent. i’ve never heard of them but this seems like a pretty influential album

Day328 - i didn’t know herbie hancock had such a long career. this is perfectly funky

Day329 - a happy bjork is already a melancholy bjork, but a mad scorned bjork is gonna tear someone apart

Day330 - monaters is a good one

Day332 - this doesn’t really change my opinion of the white stripes, i like them when i hear them but i don’t go out of my way to do it

Day333 - a candidate for best album title and it’s an awesome album

Day334 - one of the best live albums i’ve ever heard. i love phil lynott’s voice. there’s been talk of putting them in the rock and roll hall of fame and im all for it. and one more thing, a young huey lewis plays harmonica on this album

Day335 - i guess this is mostly a covers album but what a voice she has.

Day336 - van halen had some all time great albums maybe none better than this one

Day337 - i think one leonard cohen album was enough

Day338 - listening for the first time and i didn't know jack bruce sang most of the songs. tales of brave ulysses sounds just like suzanna by leonard cohen.mothers lament is hilarious

Day339 - i loved this the day it came out and it just gets cooler every listen

Day341 - i fully expected to hate this album and boy did i ever

Day342 - i wasn’t a fan but i can appreciate her talent

Day343 - i don’t get the praise jethro tull gets their whole sound always irritated me

Day344 - if bjork and barbara streisand had a dramatic baby who was over the patriarchy. it’s funny that nick cave,tom waits and elvis costello wrote songs for this

Day345 - an icon. the first six songs are amazing, she’ll be in the rock and roll hall of fame in 2025 and it will be long overdue

Day346 - i believe joy division/new order is an influential band and they have some pretty good songs but they might even be to depressing for me

Day347 - i listened. i didn’t hate it but i feel like there was a handful of these ‘80’s-‘90’s groups that sounded like this. and once again this band had one big hit and it’s not even on the album. grrrr

Day348 - i didn’t like this in the ‘90’s and won’t start now

Day349 - maybe i didn’t need another bob dylan album. especially a live one but it does have “visions of johanna” my favorite dylan song

Day350 - i remember buying this and loving it and now revisiting it really brings it back

Day351 - unarguably genius but i’d argue annoying

Day352 - neil young has at least four albums that i think are amazing and this isn’t one of them. not that it’s bad but it’s a sign of apparently way more neil young to come

Day353 - i came for the three hits and really liked the rest of them

Day354 - baby can i hold you us my favorite tracy chapman song and the hold album still feels fresh 36 years later
