Such a talented artist, good starting point but for me Fetch The Bolt Cutters is her magnum opus.
Cant believe i overlooked this album at the time.
A bona fide classic, those harmonies are killer. Kudos to whomever was wrangling the egos on display.
Enjoyed tos a lot more than I thought I would, as an 80s indie kid i dodged duran duran, bu this was apleasant surprise. Loved the Kraftwerk influences on the likes of the chauffeur.
My kind of hip hop, conscious, avant garde and a cameo from company flow. Excellent.
I had forgotten all about the zutons, this is a decent enough album, but is one of only 1001 you should listen to. Probably not.
One of queens best, worth it for Brighton Rock alone.
Landmark album and still sounds as fresh as it did whennit came out.
As much as Paul was good, Bruce just took Maiden to another level, but the conglomeration of punk and prog to come up with the new wave of british heavy metal is here for all to see.
Still sounds great. Wears its influences on its sleeve and sounds fantastic.
So hot, it's cool.
Absolute classic, one of the great british debut albums. My first 5 stars.
Another 5 from me. Gamechanger of an album
Perfect poptimism, Taylors lyrics, Antonoffs production. Tay Tay at the top of her game.
I feel this album gets overlooked, but it's definitely up there with Blue for me.
Always found the pumpkins overrated. Liked gish and theres a few good songs on this and melon collie. But overall not a fan.
Where it all begins. The nonsensical scream heard around the world.
Seriously underrated band, noel wishes he had michael heads songwriting prowess.
Sublime. Liz Frazers voice and Robin Guthrie's guitar are a match made in heaven.
Seriously underrated band.
A simply stunning album from 5 musicians at the top of their game.
Cant believe i've go to this age and never heard this. Fantastic piece of beautiful music. Wow.
Trailblazer. Just thankful his music lives on.
I can appreciate it, but not for me.
One of the bulwarks of modern music.
A land mark debut, an accurate representation of a moment in time.
35m49s of sheer unadulterated joy.
Probably my favourite beatles album, even ringos song is good.
Punk as fuck.
Im a sucker for this sort of garage rock.
2 stars for roots bloody roots.
4 for the album. 5 for, For Emily. One of the greatest love songs.
I tried years ago to get into Laura Nyro on the recommendation of a musician whose taste allayed with mine and it just didn't click, this time however hit me right between the ears. I get it, i really get it.
They really reached the pinnacle of their genre. Fantastic record.
An absolute classic. Easiest 5 stars ive given so far.
Courtney and Hole dont get anywhere near the respect they deserve.
Ive loved watching her progression, the addition of Jack Antonoffs production skills took her to another level.
Meh
Probably my favourite Neil album. It's just so cracked and vulnerable as if the whole thing could collapse at any moment.
Hopefully closer is in the list as well. Thats the real masterpiece.
I absolutely love this album.
