A classic !

Great flow of the setlist. Loved the energy throughout and made me excited about revisting their catalog.

Wow short and sweet. I’m not the biggest fan of this style of rock but this record actually left me wanting a little more. Thin Lizzy sounds great live. Most notable was the guitar work. Some really fun solos and some fun harmonizing solos. The boys are back in town with this one.

This was a super fun album with a ton of energy! I think what I love most about this era of music is that genres were kind of blended. Ultimately, I think Thin Lizzy would be described and Glam or even Heavy Metal (for the time.) You can definitely hear their influence on bands like Poison in the 80's. What's fun about this album is that sometimes is psych, a lot of blues, sometimes country rock. Its kind of all of the *rock* genres of the time. It was really fun. Thoroughly enjoyed the guitars solos and cool drum beats. Mostly, though the vocals are just great. Never over the top but always going 11.

This is an excellent live album. The versions of the songs I was already familiar with are even better here, and the ones I was not familiar with are strong as well. The sound quality is great and the performances are great. This is how a live album should be.

Vewy gud

Thin Lizzy is a lot like Queen to me. They're more of a singles band than an album band, so live albums and compilations are a stronger showing of their art. This is an excellent live record as a great example of 70s rock music.

Really good live album. Lotta energy, lots of classic bangers on there. Few songs I didn’t know which did fade into the background but found a couple new ones to listen to.

When a live album sounds studio recorded it’s a testament to how good they are. Solid 4.5/5.

noniinhja totanoin.. tätä bändiä olen odoetllutkin täällä. yksi semmonen joka on mennyt ohi.. nollahypoteesi: myöhäis 70s-kasari van haleeni kiss type dogwater.. kumotaan oletus.. osittain kuulostaa toki siltä tyypilliseltä hius soopalta... mutta pääosin miellekästä musiikkia... voi olla että suoralähetys bias, hyvin todennäköistä että studiomateriaali lässähtää, semmonen kitarasoundi kuitenkin päällä kokoajan.. showmiehiä kuitenkin, niin kuulostaa hyvältä. vähän meh että ei ole samasta konsertista vaan kollaasi, vähän lähtee fiilinki aina.. vähän lähtee fiilinki kun näin käy... not like folsom prison... perkele sekin oli kahessa pätkässä... noh..... kölni korsentti.. suicide

Solid hard rock libe album. The harmonized lead guitars were nice. Thin Lizzy definitely had their own style. I'm not really a fan, but I do like the singles which are done well here. Liked Songs Added: - Jailbreak - The Boys Are Back In Town

pretty excellent

I am familiar with Thin Lizzy's big songs that received a lot of airtime on the radio, but I never delved very far into their catalog. I have not listened to this album before. It is a good live rock album and the sound quality is not horrible. Based on my enjoyment of this record, I think I will dig into their studio recordings.

Drummer kicks ass The boys are back in town baby Should have ended with baby drives me crazy

Yeah this was good!

This was quite fun. Very dad rock, but enjoyable.

So a very well remembered album. Their finest moment

This is excellent, I am a firm Thin Lizzy enjoyer - another of their albums popped up on a list and got a very high score from me. I am knocking a point off for two reasons - live albums are essentially greatest hits so don't belong in this game, and in this particular case the record doesn't sound that live - you kind of forget you're listening to a live album until the crowd comes in at the end of each song. On a song by song basis though this is top draw.

Epic concert with classic rock/hard rock an bluuuues. Cool guitar and harmonica solos and a lot of fun. Made me feel like I was being a part of the live audience. So happy to have listened to a live album!!!

Brilliant! Too many good songs to list 4/5

I wanna put aside any debates about how much of this album was recorded live or in the studio. If I can still consider CHEAP THRILLS a live album despite how much I know for a fact was done in the studio, then to me this is 100% a live album. A pretty fun one at that, too. I mean, Thin Lizzy just rocks hard. There's really nothing more complicated to them or this album than that. And being as much of a sucker for dad rock as I can be sometimes... If Thin Lizzy is even normally considered dad rock, but that's besides the point. I enjoyed myself listening to this, and at the end of the day, that's all I ever wanted from it.

Nothing much to say. Simply just a kickass live record, so it gets 4.5 bumped down to 4.

In an interview with Mac Demarco he mentioned that a friend had compared Thin Lizzy to The Beatles, which was shocking to him and me. After that I started exploring a bit more and I wouldn’t say they’re in the same stratosphere as The Beatles, they are very underrated. This live album, albeit dubbed, rocks. The live performance of Rosalie is on YouTube and it’s fucking sick.

The boys. They’re back.

Thin Lizzy rips. Live album loses some feel once I found out it was combined from multiple performances. Maybe that's because it's a double album, but anyway the music is still great.

There were a few songs I could have done without but, overall, I really enjoyed this album. The bridge from Cowboy Song to The Boys Are Back in Town was just *chef's kiss*.

I've been reliably informed that the boys are back in town.

Prior to this I only really knew the big singles Thin Lizzy had, but it turns out their other stuff is pretty good. "Emerald" and "Suicide" could be songs by The Sword, which is awesome, "Massacre" is fast and sort of technical which I like. I thought "Dancing in the Moonlight" was gonna be a cover but it isn't, just shares a name with a very popular song to cover. In general the more the singer slams words in to sentences like in "The Boys are back in town" the more I like the song. He manages to make something I really normally can't stand sound just right. The wiki reveals that at least some of this album is studio overdubbed, which explains why the levels on all the instruments are even throughout and it doesn't sound like shit for the most part. That's a good thing, I think, but it is absolutely not a live album. To me it's a bonus - live recording tends to be garbage. I could do without "Still in Love with You" and "Baby Drives Me Crazy" which are boring and nearly 8 minutes long for some reason. I also think you could cut out a lot of the second half of this album without much lost. If it was 45 minutes or so it would be great. Overall I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would, though; a pleasant listening of what would become 80's butt rock.

This is a great album and will look to purchase for my In-laws vynyl collection. Thin Lizzy has some serious talent. Would give a 4.5 but ya know.

Album #3 Close to a 5

Only knew a couple of their big singles but this was a fun listen. Despite the length it goes by very quickly thanks to the high energy that they keep up throughout, it's rock music that actually rocks thankfully. Can tell a lot of it might be overdubbed and not 100% live but doesn't really matter.

Cool live album. I hadn't realized that Thin Lizzy had more than just the one song: "The Boys Are Back In Town".

Very good love album

This was a surprise. Like everyone, I had heard Jailbreak, The Boys Are Back in Town, and had heard Metallica cover Whiskey in the Jar. I didn't pay Thin Lizzy much heed, because truthfully, I felt like The Boys Back in Town was overplayed, And Jailbreak wasn't anything more than a really catchy guitar lick. I went into this album thinking I was going to skip every track 30 seconds in. I was COMPLETELY wrong! Man, what an enjoyable album! Every guitar part on this album is just as catchy as Jailbreak, the vocals are unique and perfect, great lyrics, and the rhythm section.... fuck! I'm so flabbergasted by how much I enjoyed this, words fail me. This will definitely go into my permanent rotation. A rare win for the 1001 albums list!

I knew Thin Lizzy by name, but I don't seem to have heard anything active from them. The album is great. And long. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to listen to it in full. What I did hear was fun. I'll certainly catch up on the rest. 4/5

A consistently good live album from a very 70's band so 4 stars or B- for me.

Dancing in the Moonlight (It's Caught Me in Its Spotlight Massacre Cowboy Song The Boys Are Back in Town

just a freaking fun album with a lot of old school flare and rock and roll that is easy and fun to listen to.

Enjoyed more than I thought

Be still my beating heart! Let's get one thing out of the way: Thin Lizzy is among the top three greatest Irish bands of all time, with U2 and My Bloody Valentine rounding it all out. They may have an uneven discography and there is a lot of material to sift through, but their Golden Run of Records, which starts with 1975's 'Fighting' and ends with 1979's 'Black Rose' and peaks with 1976's 'Jailbreak,' is among the very best in Hard Rock music. In rock music. In music. But why this record and not 'Jailbreak,' especially when you consider that an alleged 75 per cent of this album consists of overdubs? There are three reasons: 1) This record can competently serve as the finest Greatest Hits compilation for the band, which is heavy on material from 'Jailbreak' and 'Fighting' but also features some cuts from 'Johnny the Fox' and even 'Vagabonds of the Western World' (which has its defenders). This brings us to 2) the album is the appropriate entry point for those looking to go beyond 'Jailbreak' since the inclusion of deeper cuts would naturally lead to greater curiosity about their earlier material. And 3) the energy is so combustible on this album, it makes the studio versions sound anemic in comparison. Do you want to listen to the classic chunes you know and love? Why not listen to the very best versions of 'em? There is a silly alternate universe out there that considers this band a one-hit wonder or simply the hard-living lads behind "The Boys Are Back In Town." But anyone serious knows that this is a band worthy of deep criticism and analysis due to Phil Lynott's traversing of racial lines, original perspectives of Irish heritage and tradition, and the musical innovation of the band of producing some of the sweetest guitar melodies (and harmonies) ever. "Jailbreak" is a crushing album opener for both this live recording and studio album. "Tonight there's going to be a jailbreak/somewhere in this town." I love this line so much, it's so unintentionally goofy yet deliberately unserious. A mystery abounds as to the location of this jailbreak...somewhere in this town...and not, you know, the jail. They tease "Cowboy Song" a few times! The first instance of which is in "Rosalie." This is one of my all-time favourite songs. Normally, I think guitar solos can be a bit of an unnecessary wankfest. But three guitar solos? In one song? All of them are essential. Don't change a note. This is a song that feels like the first clap of a sunshower with rain falling so heavily yet so beautifully. "Roll me over and turn me around/let me keep spinning 'til I hit the ground/roll me over and let me go/riding in the rodeo." I'm not sure what any of that is supposed to mean. Maybe something about endurance and perseverance? How we have to tame the beasts in our lives in the same manner as a cowboy? When I recall some difficult moments in my life - loss, heartbreak, disillusionment, general malaise, and anxiety at The State of the World - I remember this song, listen to it, and feel completely at peace. Nothing quite makes me feel better like listening to this song. I especially adore the way in jumps right into the "The Boys Are Back In Town." Just thrilling. It treats the song as both a big event - here's the one you've been waiting for! - and something that's so casually tossed off - here's the one we can play in our sleep. I've been pretty vocal in my distaste for drum solos on live records (or anywhere, really). And yes, there is a drum solo on "Sha La La." I'll believe producer Tony Viscounti who said that the drums and the noise from the audience are taken straight from the shows. So for that reason alone - the reason being novelty, heightened novelty - I'll take it. On "Baby Drives Me Crazy," we have harmonica from none other than Huey Lewis! Why is that so insane? He was in the band Clover, which was a supporting act for Thin Lizzy at the time, and get this, the backing band for Elvis Costello for 'My Aim Is True.' And yet, something about this feels so weird, so spontaneous, almost like you're listening to a live performance. One of the coolest records ever to be affiliated with Toronto. A *I must resolve to run my reviews through a spellcheck! I'm sorry!

I like Thin Lizzy, but I am too young to have seen their original line up live. This is as close as I get, even though I am generally not a fan of live albums. A lot of the experience gets lost, and especially in a genre like this where high energy showmanship is part of the experience. But yeah, I'll give it 4 stars because Thin Lizzy deserves more recognition. Also, bonus points for having a young Huey Lewis on here.

i talked in the metallica entry about a bit of thoughts im developing regarding the evolutionary divide between rock and metal (the former's songwriting idiom growing directly out of RnB, the latters owing more to the blues). ive also thought a lot about the lyrical divides between the two, in particular how a first person I is so much rarer in metal then in rock where it tends to be the bedrock. they both rely on fiction, but hard rock tends to favor the Idealization Of The Self rather then inhabiting a fully different dramatic roll. ig i was just thinking about that because while this is hard rock in musical idiom (at least the idiom we would recognize today), there is a kind of Spiritually Metal bent to it...closer to the led zepp songs that create the impression of an Unstoppable Force Of Nature rather then any of the ones that are strictly carnal. extremely enjoyable album btw! a lot more showmanship then the aforementioned live double lp, and more genuinely great songs then i expected. very sweaty!!! and very irish. i wonder if america/europe is a dividing line worth looking into re:the development of these styles...

Solid rock album

I didn't know this one before and can really appreciate it. Clear crisps rock sounds with amazing guitar parts. I was listening it with my morning coffee and still enjoyed it. It's absolutely worth it to read about the production of this album. It's real drama. The 2nd half is less good. For just the first CD it would be 5 stars, the 2nd half gets 3 stars. Favourite songs: Dancing in the moonlight, Southbound

Some good live (or "live") performances recorded kind of shitty. But am I supposed to be mad about being asked to listen to Thin Lizzy?

harder and more fun than i expected. makes me wanna crank it loud and clean the house.

Wow. This has heavier moments than I thought it would. I love it. Totally hear the influence on a band like Iron Maiden - especially Emerald. Twin guitars soaring and great bass playing. Catchy tunes. Fun stuff.

Heard bits & pieces of this album over the years and liked it. Been a fan since Boys are Back. Another rock & roll star casualty gone too soon. Great voice. Dueling guitars.

A fun romp through the dizzying sounds of Thin Lizzy and the energy felt in their live performances.

Wish I could give it 4.5 stars. One of the best live albums I've ever heard!

The boys are back in town. 4

Thin Lizzy rips. No shit

I think I enjoyed it

the boys are, in fact, back in town. this was really fun to listen to - the excitement of the crowd is infectious and the performance is fantastic

Alright, let's get the technical nitpicks out of the way. This is a live album where there's uncertainty with which show each song was recorded, along with how many overdubs were used to polish up the sound. I don't mind the need for a little cleanup after recording to make the final product sound good, though it does come at the expense of some audience interaction not coming through as well. That said, Live and Dangerous is still an amazing album from the Irish hard rockers. As expected, most of the songs performed live sound just as good as their studio releases, with some sporting instrumental breaks like the saxophone solo during "Dancing in the Moonlight" or the drum solo for "Sha La La". However, there are a few highlights I want to bring up to illustrate why this album is considered well-regarded. In particular, there's the live performance of "Still in Love With You" - a much slower ballad than the original from Nightlife, enhanced with the epic guitar soloing of Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson. Later, there's the transition from "Cowboy Song" to "The Boys are Back in Town" off the same chord, making for a one-two punch. Finally, there were two new songs at the time, "Are You Ready" and "Baby Drives Me Crazy," that were never seen in a studio release. The former is such a fast infectious rocker of a tune, while the latter features the audience chanting "Baby" along with Lynott and harmonica soloing from a young Huey Lewis. If those moments don't sell you on Live and Dangerous, I don't know what will. Because it was either this or Jailbreak making the list, and I'm glad to get some Thin Lizzy representation here.

This was way better than I was expecting a multi-concert live album to be!

Love Thin Lizzy, but live albums are rarely 5 stars

Great bar band music. Tonight is gonna be a jail break…

Always viewed Thin Lizzy as a bit limp but I quite liked, might even listen to it again if it wasn’t so fucking long…,. maybe I am getting old

Jesus christ, wasn't expecting THIS for a live album

Nice, I will come back to this again when I ever feel like listening to rock

Thin Lizzy is a rock n’ roll good time.

Great live album.

Low expectations but this was so good

I knew Boys Are Back in Town from various genre mixes and enjoyed the few other tracks that popped up but never took the time to actually listen to Thin Lizzy. I think they're my new favorite hard rock group baring maybe GnR. I don't love that these tracks are overdubbed. You can hear the hard cuts between tracks so clearly and it sucks the crowd energy right out. The good news is Phil Lynott doesn't need the crowd to rock out. This band just grooves. There are more wild bands and more technically proficient bands, but Thin Lizzy feels so much more rock and roll than all of them, at least on this album. The transition from Cowboy Song to Boys are Back is a chefs kiss and Massacre is a track so good I had to replay it immediately. This isn't going down on my best albums of all time, but I'm very glad I have it a listen.

I kind of liked this one. Not my usual thing, but obviously a great live band

I don't like live albums...no idea why, never have. Except this one! Musically and vocally superb

So many memories. This came out after my high school band already had “Emerald” in our set — a favorite. This album really shows off the strengths of each member of Lizzy — and this was my favorite line-up. One of the best live albums ever.

For most of my life my only exposer to Thin Lizzy was the singles from Jailbreak. I liked what I heard but not enough to buy any albums. A few years back thanks to music streaming I started digging further into their extensive catalog. Through that digging Bad Reputation, Black Rose and Johnny The Fox quickly became favorites for me. Live And Dangerous only made me mad that I was born too late to see this band perform in their prime. It had to be awe inspiring to hear those iconic harmonizing guitar leads cranked in an arena. I’m not usually a live album fan but it’s hard to deny how phenomenal the band sounds here. Phil Lynott’s one-of-a-kind vocals absolutely soar throughout the entire performance. And let’s be honest Phil’s name really should be at the top of more greatest bass player lists. Brian Downey’s drumming is tight and in the pocket while still making things feel like things could go off the rails at any moment. Of course Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham’s face melting guitars are insane. No songs are rushed or dragging and all the musicians are just perfectly locked in together. I know this was recorded over multiple performances and there were studio sessions after, I don’t care how they made it sound so good and like your front row I’m just glad they did.

Thin Lizzy, let's gooo! I put on my "Jailbreak" T-shirt for the occasion today, my go-to St. Paddy's Day attire. I have an inexplicable soft spot for this band, considering I'm largely indifferent to many of their contemporaries in this "straightforward hard classic rock" genre. I think their music is solid; I like the twin-guitar sound they pioneered. But probably a lot of the appeal for me is down to Phil Lynott's charisma (RIP). I find his backstory fascinating and he brings a tough yet sensitive persona to the songs--some heart to the typical rock posturing. On this live album, as he talks to the crowd, I get to hear his Oirish accent, which never fails to charm me. Despite being fans of theirs, I never sat to listen to this album before today. I thought they sounded good live! Part of me wonders if this live album was a way to circumvent the list's own rule about not including compilation albums. With a live album you get songs from many studio records. I had been wondering if Thin Lizzy was going to make an appearance on this list at all, and I would guess that this will be the only work included from them, so maybe including the live album to represent them is a way of showcasing their work from a greater span of their career. I guess this list simply doesn't have room to include more than one Thin Lizzy studio album when we have to feature NINE things by Neil Young! Compared to the studio albums, which I'm more used to listening to, I have to say that it seems to me that some of the levels and clarity weren't as good, making it hard to showcase some of the features of the music as well as I'm used to hearing, especially with the guitars. Certain things weren't hitting as hard as I was used to. I guess it's more challenging than I would know, trying to convey studio music in a live setting while recording it well. But all in all, I don't think this effort was bad, and I like that they tried to bottle the lightening. Even though this offering covered a lot of their material, there are several songs of theirs I really like that were absent, such as "Bad Reputation" or "Wild One," so since it's the weekend and I have more time, I may go ahead and revisit their other albums, especially from the "Fighting" album onward. ("Fighting" as an album title always makes me laugh. Once again, way to live up to national stereotypes, guys!) 4.something stars

HERE WE FUCKING GO

I enjoyed this. I like Thin Lizzie. I do not understand the love for live albums.

Great live album. Rowdy without being too distorted to follow. Standouts are the hits “Jailbreak” and “The Boys Are Back in Town”.

Gave me a new appreciation for Thin Lizzy. Amazing live and gave their recorded songs more weight

p409. 1978. 4 stars. Not a fan of live or double albums, but this is an exception. A greatest hits set from one of the best live bands ever. Point deducted for the occasional lapse into late 70's wankage - no-one needs 7+ minute tracks or extended drum solos.

down to chill

badass

Not a fan of live albums but was good

Fantastic live no so live album

Great album. Too short

Thin Lizzy are great - so many excellent tracks on this album! Only criticism is that it's a bit too long. Phil Lynott is (was) cool. As is his love of Ireland. And I love Thin Lizzy's sound - get lost in the moment, and the music takes you away. Cowboy Song is amazing - a guitar journey 😎. I would have loved to have seen them live - imagine how cool that would have been ... Dancing in the Moonlight.

A live double album is a lot in one day! Great guitars, good tunes, melodies, variety, a cool singer, great voice and decent lyrics. Classic rock 😎 This version of 'Still In Love With You' is EPIC! My favourite track so far. 'Dancing In The Moonlight', 'Cowboy Song' and (especially) 'Massacre' are great too. Will definitely listen to this album more ❤️

It's a fun concert

i did NOT expect this to be this good this was fucking GAS. real hard mothafuckin rock music. guitar solos were impressive, memorable, and i suspect that the live versions are better than the originals. If this ended after the boys are back in town this would have been a 5 - unfortunately the back half just isn’t as hard as the first. if they were sprinkled between the songs of the first half this might have been a different rating top 3 - dancing in the moonlight, massacre, still in love with you (AND ALL THOSE ARE IN A ROW!!! what a 3 track run)

Fantàstic rock!

Solid album, can't really fault it.

If this list was "Best Classic Rock Albums to Get Hammered To" this would be in my top ten.

7/10. Some classics. Great energy. Very good guitarists. Southbound probably my favorite song on the album, but put Boys are Back in Town on the playlist as well for the nostalgia of that song.

Thoughts before listening: This is one of those bands that I know I should really like, I enjoy what I've heard, but I've never actually dug in on them. Glad to have this pop up today and to give it a shot. Review: This is fun. Maybe I just have a soft place in my heart for this brand of hard rock, but I rather enjoyed listening to this album. I especially love the looseness of a live album, and despite this one reportedly being heavily overdubbed in studio, this was right up my alley. There is a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band vibe to the performances here that I was not expecting. There are some classics like "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back in Town", and I am also adding songs like "Rosalie" (Chattanooga reference in the lyrics!), "Dancing in the Moonlight", and "Massacre" to the playlist. 4-stars.

A pretty fun hard rock record. There's definitely some very solid cuts and nice instrumental moments such as on "Dancing in the Moonlight" and "Still in Love with You" while never failing to remain consistently engaging.

This was great! High energy live rock n roll. Sounds very similar to the on-record Thin Lizzy I'm familiar with.

I had low expectations for this but actually enjoyed it

Fun Rock and roll record.

Sounds like a great night!

Very fun

Rocking good time!

Enjoyed very much. Just a good time. Best tracks were southbound and the boys are back in town

🤘🏼🤘🏼

🤘🏻🎸⚡️🍆🤘🏻

21 minutes and 4 tracks and I already knew I was going to like one of the songs, plus one for succinctness and doing it live.

It is quite long, but the rock and roll is pretty good and they keep the live nonsense to a minimum. I can dig it.

Something feels disingenuous about an Irish band that’s trying to sound like it’s from Philly. But the back half of the album felt more like just having fun rocking out, and it won me back.

First track “Jailbreak” goes pretty hard. I dig it! The rest of the album is awesome. Fun songs, shredding solos, and overall just good vibe music. Highly enjoyable listen.

Very good

Turning into my dad, classics here

Hell yeah. I only wish the whole album was available on Spotify so I could add it to my collection.

My kind of background vibes. And foreground vibes... But I was busy. Never intentionally listened to Thin Lizzy before, but I had a great time

Really cool. Drums are so good! Also is Tommy the Cat a pastiche of Johnny the Fox Meets Jimmy the Weed? Discuss.

Tight explosive set. Love that seamless flow from Cowboy Song to The Boys Are Back in Town. Bass is really tight. Never noticed before

Much better than I thought or remembered. Not sure I'd listen to it very often but that was not bad at all.

This album is a good time! Great guitar, awesome drums, catchy songs. Listens: 1 Fave Track: Massacre Rating: 4

Some good tracks. 3.75

Only four songs on Spotify.

Recomendable, y personalmente, volveré a escucharlo.

Shockingly not bad

This is a fun little 2-for-1 package: a greatest hits album and a live album! It's a shame that there's no proper Thin Lizzy album in the book, because they're great, but their strengths are on full display here. And really, there's a lot of strengths seen throughout Live And Dangerous. Amazing playing, breakneck speed, raw power, and charisma off the charts. Not only on the singles – although the high-tier songwriting is even clearer in these live renditions for songs like "Jailbreak," "The Boys Are Back in Town," and "Still in Love with You" – but also on the more unique deep cuts, these hard rock gems that only pimple-faced, dorky stoner boys would've known at the time. I think the combination of fast, face-melting playing and Lynott's stage presence are the backbone of this album, and make its live show runtime feel tolerable for not being in the crowd proper. Still, I think there's two glaring issues. The first is Lizzy's more prog-adjacent tendencies; songs like "Emerald," and "Johnny the Fox Meets Jimmy the Weed" are...exhausting? Nerdy? Embarrassing? Choose your adjective, I just find that they drag the vibe down from cool to chess club real quick. I'd also argue that Side D, while a great capturing of the essence of a live show, starts to wear thin on me, and makes me recognize that the album is probably overstaying it's welcome. But those negatives are minor when compared to the energy displayed here, even if largely overdubbed. It's a great live album and I'd gladly listen to these renditions over the original recordings moving forward.

gott stuff

Only way to listen to this album and that's turned up to 11. Great collection of classic era Thin Lizzy songs with just fantastic guitar work. Yeah being live some of the vocals are bit off but a fine listen.

Rocked this top to bottom and enjoyed pretty much every track. Hard rocking vocals with twin guitar attacks that should be listened to loud. Like very loud.

This rules so completely. High 4 stars with room to grow. 4/5

glam rock bem padrão. acho que como é um album ao vivo deu mais gás pra aumentar a nota

Great live album, with a great setlist of super catchy balls 2 the walls rock n roll. Thin Lizzy needs more respect since Kiss basically stole their image with shittier music. But I'll save that for another rant-o-graph. Hopefully their is footage of this concert around because its a great time capsule for 70s rock energy.

Not a huge fan of live albums but the sound is great and the band rips.

if bruce springsteen made 70's hair metal, it would sound like this

I'm a big fan. I think the music suffers because of the main vocalist: he's somewhere between post-rehab Ozzy and an Elvis impersonator. The guitar work is amazing and the instruments are layered in a cool way.

Låter som Thin Lizzy. Bra övergångar mellan de olika låtarna. 4 / 5

I don’t love live albums generally, but this one balanced the crowd noise with the actual songs well. Also all the songs were bangers.

Very good live.

Cool, rock and roll music. If you enjoy a lot of guitar and electronic sounds you will enjoy this.

Very good. Reminds me of some of the Rainbow live recordings. Fun, funky, guitars. Like.

Great album - solid and enjoyed it. Classic hits and awesome touch being live

Flink nice album, kende wel wat van thin lizzy, maar dit livealbum nog niet. Dikke 4 sterren voor die gitarist

It's weird that the powers that be chose a live album but at least it's an absolute banger of one.

Кайф: Jailbreak, Rosalie, Still in love with you. Остальное средненько.

leans into hair metal/the ballad rock of the 80s, but still holding on to that classic 70s rock and roll feel. Definitely high energy and some classic rock n roll jams

I was ready to be disappointed when I got this album rather than Jailbreak. Happy to say I was not. This is a great album. Makes a fine introduction to an underappreciated band.

Good album, don’t like that it’s a live concert recording but enjoyed it regardless

That was pretty fun

I'm not sure if I've been listening to the wrong Thin Lizzy songs, but I've never been able to get into them. Until now. This album was really good. It's interesting that it's a live album—there've been a few live albums on the list so far, which I feel conflicted about. I'm not sure what makes this an especially amazing live album, though it's a really good show. But as someone with no real background knowledge of the band, I like that it's kind of a greatest hits. The only song I knew was "The Boys Are Back in Town"—which I shamefully thought was by KISS. The musicianship is really good and Phil Lynott's vocals are great. The band is one part blues, one part Hendrix-esque psychedelic rock, one part KISS-esque hard rock, with some metal and Springsteen-esque lyrics thrown in. It makes for a good mix. To the live aspect, Lynott's engagement with the crowd was really fun, and that drum solo on "Sha-la-la" was great. The album was pretty long—just under an hour and a half—so I'm not sure how often I'd listen to it again, but I definitely gained an appreciation for the band and will check out more of their stuff. 4 out of 5 (but probably more of a 4.5).

Thin lizzy Actually a really great live rock band I like Cowboy Song reminded me of Caravan by Van Morrison. As far as other late 70s live albums, I liked it better than Cheap Trick and I think it was more fun than Frampton. The harmonized guitar sound is cool. Bass and drums felt great too. Probably not a go to album for me but I dug it and can’t think of anything negative to say about it.

Pretty fun! Lots of gratuitous guitar playing. I like that it was 20 min, probably woulda knocked it down to a 3 if it were a full length but this was a fun short listen.

Love the album name. It was fun! I have no complaints

Good stuff 4 *

Recognized the songs

Einfach klassischer rock. Passt

As an album, too much and not focused, but as a concert proxy, very cool. Really liked how clean the audio was, I feel like the crowd noise was kept to a tasteful level where it felt additive rather than distracting.

Apparemment pas complètement live, et pas franchement dangerous. Rock FM/hard rock. Je m’étonne de reconnaitre “The Boys Are Back In Town”. Du très bon avec l'enchaînement “Dancing in the moonlight” et “Massacre”, l'ouverture “Jailbreak”, quelques moments plus faibles, les inévitables ballades, mais un ensemble fort sympathique et très recommandable.

A big, stadium rock and roll album that's NOT overbearing and ostentatious. "Southbound" has a catchy melody and a nice, almost gentle chorus. "Dancing in the Moonlight," is very nice, jazzy, and there's saxophone! The album features lots of energetic, pulsing guitars and crashing drums and grizzly vocals. There's famous songs like "Jailbreak" and "The Boys are Back in Town," the latter of which is actually not a very interesting song compared to others. While it's a well produced album, and the performances are great, I feel like my exposure to Thin Lizzy is not best served through a live album. There are a couple of interesting introductions of songs, like on "Rosalie," but other moments, like crowd hyping and distant back up vocals take away from the experience.

Enjoyable album overall.

Good old Classic Rock Songs

Yeah that was more fun than I expected. Gonna keep this in rotation for a bit.

Fabulous example of live arena rock. Even though I only knew maybe 3-4 songs, the energy level carried the show. Definitely a 3+ so I'm voting 4.

I was a kid the first time I heard Jailbreak, and it was off this record. Phil was really something special, but the whole band is so tight on these tracks. They're like a funkier, bluesier version of AC/DC here.

Never really listened to Thin Lizzy before, this was a good start. Nice bass tone

This is a pretty epic live performance, significantly better than I was expecting honestly. Favorite track: The Rocker

One of the few singer-bassists in music, Phil Lynott rips in the smoothest of fashions. Feel good 70’s rock at its finest and I never get tired of even their most over-played of arena-radio-saturated anthems. That first track Jailbreak always confused me though.. If there was to be a jailbreak.. somewhere in the town.. won’t it likely occur in the town jail..?

hard rockin and guitar sockin, nice loud bass, southbound is a sentimental banger rosalie - roooosalieeeee i got da power roooooosalie dancin moonlight - jazzy adjacent goin oomboombpaboombam this is a cute lil number overall pretty damn good live album!!!!!!

Short album, but pretty good nontheless

Pretty good live band

fave track: still in love with you final thoughts: they ate that icl

One of the best live albums I've ever listened to

Fantastic guitar tones. I didn’t realize until hearing this album how much of a two lead guitar band TL was.

Wonderful recording...pure 70s rock...this is a good one!

Good solid rockin’ live album

Great fun classic rock!

I thought I was going to hate from the album art-this was great, I love live albums and this was great for 80s style rock. 4/5

This album is so much fun, perfect example of a concert record.

Loved it! I should like / listen to Thin Lizzy more than I do. I love the harmonised guitar solos, I like Phil Lynott's voice, they have some great tunes, etc etc. As I said with the Motorhead live album, it seems that live albums provide a way of giving a "greatest hits" record. I liked the vibe of the live sound but I read on wikipedia that there were studio overdubs on the live recordings! Shock horror! I don't really care though, as long as it sounds good. Another album that I've earmarked to return to...

stupid that my first thought was Thin Lizzy the "as seen on TV makeup brand" But this album slaps

Jailbreak was a partying anthem for me and best friend so I'll always like that one as well as The Boys are Back in Town! I never listened to any of Thin Lizzy's full albums before though and was pleasantly surprised by how good they are and how much I liked them. Rock on!

love it

I listened to one song

The sound was somehow 'empty'

For some reason, a lot of songs on the album weren’t available on Spotify. What I heard sounded pretty good.

I was once of the mindset that the only valid live alum was Alive 2007, which felt like a one-time experience. This album has changed my views entirely — this rocked. Not every day you get Huey Lewis to do harmonica for you. Won’t go out of my way to find new live albums, but I won’t outright ignore them now!

Superb. Good sound, a greater band Easoly one of th3 best live albums.

I would give this a 5, but it is clear from their perfect playing that there is considerable overdubbing in this live album, which I think makes this live album not really a live album.

classic

Cooler 70er Rock

Such a clean sound for a live album.

Faithful representation of their sound, all the hits, good atmosphere, what's not to like.

Love the album but is so fake. Not that live but classic anyway

Thin Lizzy was a stereotypical 70s hard rock band. This covers a good portion of their body of work. It has the high energy classic guitar riff based songs and the real original songs that were their big hits. It's easy to listen to even if they're a little generic. I think of them as Led Zeppelin lite. Competent, good on stage, but not as creative or original. Scale: 5 - My absolute favorites. 4 - Albums I like. 3 - It was ok to listen to but I wouldn't seek it out. 2 - Didn't like. 1 - Absolute shit.

4/5 now that was nice!

This is very close to 5 stars for me. The playing is confident and on-point, with a near-perfect blend of grungy distortion and smooth licks. Guitar and bass are in sync for much of the album (woo!) and the vocals are rough in their usual classic hard-rock way. The riffs are reasonably catchy, though they really start to sound similar after an hour of riff-oriented songs all in the same style. (I’m glad I didn’t do a track-by-track analysis.) The audience interaction is really fun; live recordings are always improved by an engaged crowd (see: YYZ performance by Rush in Rio). Honestly, any and all of the songs may as well be highlights, but my personal ones are Dancing In The Moonlight, The Rocker, Are You Ready?, and Southbound. The band definitely knows how to effectively and satisfyingly end a song, much to my delight, but just a few of the tracks take too long to reach that ending. Still, one of my favourite-ever live albums. Thin Lizzy slaps.

The Boys are Back in Town! - 3.5/5

Jojah says it’s wack, but I say he’s wack 8/10

Pretty cool guitar stuff and way more entertaining than I thought it'd be. Still a little repetitive. 5.5/10

Listening to a live album with no prior knowledge of an artist’s music can be difficult. But the way you can differentiate a bad from a good one is when it manages to be good with the listener not having that predisposed knowledge. Thin Lizzy does that. What I love most about this kind of rock is just how easy it is. I’m someone who can really appreciate something with lots of depth and thought behind it. But I can also appreciate just how simple and fun this is. They play their instruments damn well, and it just makes for a good time. Almost all of the bands’ big hits are on here, and they all slap. This album also sounds remarkably good. Not just production wise, even though the actual clarity of the instruments is amazing. But down to the performances. They sound nearly identical to their studio versions, especially with the vocals. Rating: 8/10

Thought I didn’t like it; then realized it bangs.

Great first half but it falls off a touch towards the end...still pretty much the best live album ever

Phil Lynott a tope. Un 4.

I liked this more than I was expecting. I'm not too familiar with their music outside of a couple of songs, but I can see how great this show would be if you were a fan. Neutral on the singer but thought the instrumentation and the solos were good!

I’m really struck by how metronomic and precise they are live, this is almost like a studio recording with live acoustics.

A loud, live and raucous experience. It’s clear these Irish rockers sound equally as good live as they did on any of their studio efforts. There are so many iconic songs packed into this huge live album. Fantastic!

Great stuff,

Though it is likely the Jameson I was drinking at the time, the tracks are engaging, energetic and easy to enjoy. Though the sound is a little hollow, it sounds really good for a live album and certainly covers lots of hits. I'm going to ignore Johnny the Fox, and give it a ....

Knew nothing other than The Boys Are Back in Town. Very surprised by this band. Enjoyed the instrumentals and very little vocals. Lots of shredding 4

Over an hour of great shuffle hard rock bordering on heavy metal but grounded in a way metal is not. Great musicians Lynott is a marvel. It’s a lot to take in but nearly every song is tight and interesting to listen too.

Awesome live performance

Some great moments, some not so great moments. On the whole, glad I heard this, but something I’m unlikely to return to.

Decent production, I love live albums so it’s nice to hear these tracks live from a band like this. Never really listened to much Thin Lizzy, but I’m digging it.

1978. THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN! Yes! Good vibes at 5am. I appreciate what I consider the 70s “sound”, unique vocals, electric guitar, bass, and drums. Doesn’t need a whole lot of clutter.

Great fun, Phil's a great frontman

Solid Live Album - Remastered version isn't on Spotify, the OG version sound quality is a little iffy.

Good energy and didn’t suck for a live album

Thin Lizzy is just awesome, and this album is the perfect showcase of that. Rock on 🤘 😎

Underrated band.

Great rock, good fun to listen to. Dancing In The Moonlight, Massacre, Still In Love With You (the blues-esque voice is spectacular)

Ganska kul. The Boys Are Back In Town, Massacre, Warriors och Sha-La-La var bäst.

Oof that’s some good rock

Very good album for a band that I only know one song from. I like the style, both as a band and musically. Some of the songs are a bit too much rocking though without much going on. Favorite song: Cowboy Song. 7/10

Well this is great

oh wow, Thin Lizzy! "Dia dhuit!" I've never listened to them very religiously (or even agnostically) but I'm starting to see why live albums are part of this list. I'm getting more out of "Jailbreak" & "The Boys Are Back" today than I normally get from the oft-heard studio recordings. Canadian rock radio will give you those two songs and nothin else HL: "Jailbreak", "Emerald", "Dancing in the Moonlight (It's Caught Me in Its Spotlight)", "Cowboy Song"/"The Boys Are Back in Town", October 24, 2023

Pleased to see this. I was aware of its reputation, but had never heard it. Really enjoyed it. Far more musical than I expected. Though I don't know why my expectations were low. Definitely one to be on the lookout for. A solid to high 4.

Essential Tracks: The Boys Are Back in Town (Playlist) Massacre Jailbreak Still in Love with You

I didn't like this album, I loved it. Thin Lizzy had their own distinctive sound, with quite a number of hit tracks on this album. The only problem I have with Thin Lizzy is that I need to be in the mood to listen to them, otherwise I could never listen to an album in one go.

I enjoyed the sound of the crowd and love performance. The lead singer had great lyrics and the upbeat tempo made it a fun listen

"Live and Dangerous" is a live double album by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy. The album was compiled from live performances in London, Philadelphia and Toronto with producer Tony Viscoti who didn't have time to work on a studio album. It was then overdubbed in Paris; the amount of overdubbing is a mystery although some claim upwards of 75% of the album. Commercially, it hit #2 in the UK and, critically, it had widespread acclaim with some considering it one of the best live albums of all time. The album opens up with the crowd chanting on "Jailbreak." Guitar driven and very clean sounding. Actually, all these songs are very clean sounding for a live album. More relentless guitar and solos. It the segues into "Emerald." This is even more fast paced and I noticed how heavy metal this sounds. You hear that on a number of songs. The melody is the king on "Dancing in the Moonlight." The saxophone is more prominent on this version. One of my favorite Thin Lizzy songs. The band goes full throttled fast and hard in "Massacre." Relentless guitar. Bass and drums. It's about the unknown heroes killed in the American plains. A slow acoustic guitar begins "Cowboy Song." This sounds great, very similar to the studio version. It goes right into another big song "The Boys Are Back in Town." Great rhythm guitar. Very nice mixing and production with each instrument coming through. The fourth side showcases the variety in their music. "Suicide" and "Sha-La-La" are mostly metal. They go bluesy in "Baby Drives Me Crazy" with no less than Huey Lewis on the harmonica. I predict this will be the only time Huey Lewis is mentioned in the challenge. The album closes with the hard rockin' "The Rocket." Fantastic drumming. Yeah, this album rocks. The band is tight. The songs are very clean sounding; I don't care how much of it was overdubbed...it sounded great. I was surprised at how hard and heavy they sound. It's no surprise it comes up in some of the best metal live album rankings. If you like a hard rockin' live album, this is a good place to go.

Electric

fun live album. Surprisingly, Huey Lewis was announced on the album as playing harmonica for the band, and this was before he formed Huey Lewis and the News.

Good album. Recognised some of the songs, but like the live versions of most.

I really expected screaming and shitty long guitar solos but it was a lot more lyric focused than I expected and I didn’t expect much. One of the only loud rock albums I fully enjoyed. Even the guitar solos were still good

Heard before. Took me many tries to get through, still not quite through with it now. I don't know why, but I kinda like it. Can't say why. The melodies are stuck in my head and it seems like a cool crowd, even if it's not from one show or all that live, apparently. + Southbound + Rosalie (Cowgirl's Song) + Massacre + Still In Love With You + Dancing In The Moonlight + The Boys Are Back In Town Probably some more.

Massacre

Started off not as interested but quite liked a couple songs. Especially the slower fiddly stuff, dancing in the moonlight for example

Classic album. Phil had the full package, no pun intended

I like their classics but not a fan of live

Was not a bad album recognized a few of the songs never knew who they were by. Will have to look more into there music.

This was pretty good. Usually live albums are hit or miss, but this was one of the good ones. Good performance and a good collection of songs. I'm not exactly itching for more, but I enjoyed this. 4/5

I did not realize Thin Lizzy sounded so much like Bruce Springsteen.

Explosive live album! What an underrated hard rock band Thin Lizzy is!

Dug this more than expected, almost got a hint of metal in there some of the riffs reminded me of Iron Maiden. Dudes got a powerful voice and you can feel the swagger. Not reinventing the wheel but a well made controversially "live" album.

Love it. I've often heard people say Thin Lizzie is underrated & now I agree. There is some damn good music on this album

Punchy

loved it would listen again forgot how many thin lizzy tracks I like. sounded like a great gig.

This isn't even available on Spotify. But Thin Lizzy is f'ing awesome.

I enjoy Thin Lizzy, but this album really doesn't need to be here. I'm still giving it a 4 because the band was so good.

Er is vermoedelijk nooit zo onbekommerd gerockt als in de jaren zeventig. Gekke pakjes aan en laat de gitaren maar vlammen. Ook deze heren wisten waar ze het halen moesten. Theatraal maar strak. Goed gedaan weer.

Damn, that's some classic Rock and Roll. This Album is definitely the type of music I love, it's all high energy and has a timelessness feeling to it and the fucking boys are back in town is on here man it's great just for that.

oh my god, the guitars!!! brian robertson absolutely murdered his guitar solos and the instrument itself in live and dangerous. thin lizzy is definitely a well-rounded band, so it's not like the other instruments were lackluster or boring. but gosh there was something magical about the guitar in this recording. "still in love with you" and the guitar? are you kidding me?! the energy on this album is HOT. the way the album opens and closes with the cheers allows it to be played on a seamless loop, like a never ending concert. phil lyontt has great audience interaction, even through an audio only recording. by the way, absolutely wild that huey lewis makes a little cameo on the harmonica during "baby drives me crazy"! i'm not mad about it, but i'm just saying i assumed at first it was a different huey lewis.

I thought this would be generic early hard rock. It is much better. I actually think these guys were an influence on early ‘70s hard rock. Innovators in good hard driving rock.

Dancing in moooonlight

Some great solos and jams, no songs really stood out but not in a bad way?

Live albums can be hit or miss. I really enjoyed this. Probably more than any of their albums in full. Nice that it’s not all from the same gig, doesn’t detract. 4/5

PREFS : Jailbreak, Emerald, Dancing in the Moonlight (It's Caught Me in Its Spotlight), Massacre, Cowboy Song, The Boys Are Back In Town, Warriors, Sha La La MOINS PREF: The Rocker

Solid album

This is a benchmark for live albums.

Pure rock and roll. This album had an incredible vibe. Cowboy Song was my favorite on the album.

Great live album

Great energetic rock!

Very good, keep getting surprised by live albums

Very solid album/performance

Excellent. Classic rock at it's finest with added live vibes. Would thoroughly recommend.

phil lynott and the boys ripping it up on stage. stone cold quality and i couldn’t get enough. minimal banter with the crowd, just thin lizzy doing what they do best… pounding you relentlessly with that sweet sweet rock and roll. highlights: “jailbreak”, “rosalie”, “johnny the fox meets jimmy the weed”, “cowboy song”, “warriors”.

Jailbreak- 3.5/5 Emerald- 4.2/5 Southbound- 4.7/5 Rosalie / Cowgirl's Song- 5/5 Dancing in the Moonlight (It's Caught Me in Its Spotlight)- 5/5 Massacre- 3.4/5 Still in Love With You- 4.7/5 Johnny the Fox Meets Jimmy the Weed- 3.7/5 Cowboy Song- 4/5 The Boys Are Back in Town- 5/5 Don't Believe a Word- 3/5 Warrior- 3.6/5 Are You Ready- 4.7/5 Suicide- 5/5 Sha-La-La- 4.3/5 Baby Drives Me Crazy- 4.6/5 The Rocker- 4.8/5 Total- 4.3/5

Fun covers and guitar riffs. They will put you in the right mood on a Friday afternoon.

I feel like I preface live albums with "I don't like live albums but..." so much at this point that I don't even know if I can even rightfully say I don't like live albums anymore. This is a great rock record, I didn't really know Thin Lizzy besides their big radio hits, I didn't realize how heavy they were for the 70s. Performances are great and show virtuosity without being too winding and annoying, songs are catchy and well structured, really good album all the way through.

Ya know, for a live album, this was quite enjoyable.

This album just gave me ass hair

I suddenly want to open a Pabst, buy leather pants and ride a motorcycle until the end of time.

Pleasantly surprised. Very listenable, and very few songs feel like throwaways. I did not like Are You Ready? but the vast majority were overall enjoyable.

This was completely different to what I was expecting. I thought thin Lizzy were more kinda cheesy stadium rock. How wrong I was. Thought this was really good overall.

Favorite song Still in love with you

When I first started this review project and was generated my first live album, I was confused as I thought that surely the studio albums would be the better option. However, some of my favourite albums have since ended up being live (Cheap Trick Live at Budokan was incredible!). With that in mind, let’s see how Thin Lizzy sound! Songs I already knew: Jailbreak, The Boys Are Back In Town Favourites: The Boys Are Back In Town, Still In Love With You Thankfully, we have here another fantastic live album. Phil Lynott’s vocals are perfect throughout - there is genuinely nothing I can fault with the singing at all. The guitars are great throughout, and the solo of Still In Love With You deserves a mention - the song is a ballad, but the solo is face melting! My only complaint is that the last quarter of the album didn’t feel quite as interesting as the rest so my attention did admittedly start to waver. Overall, a very good, fun album.

The album cover could have been from Spinal Tap — just so over the top cock rock. Cracked me up. The band is killer, drummer is great, not going to make it to my all-time list of faves, but put me down as a Thin Lizzy fan. I'd have awarded this a 3.5, but as that's not an option, this gets a 4 because I enjoyed the ride.

Quality drops towards the end but the first 3/4 is very good.

Can't believe how much I loved this

Yks parahaista live-levyist. Jytää! 4/5

Raucous fun. Note to self, listen to more Thin Lizzy

I had fun rocking out to this album. I think it would have been a heck of a thing to experience live. I did feel though that the songs were a little samey-samey and the hour and twenty minutes felt long.

I like live albums with lots of energy! I like the songs I know! I like people named Lizzie!

Classic album, just had a 118 remastered album released as i listen.

Very cool "live" album, it really succeeds in showing the strengths of Thin Lizzy. Too bad it's been doctored this much, I would've enjoyed it a bit more if it felt a bit more organic. Still very representative of Thin Lizzy at it's finest 8 out of 10

Fun. Long. Not all the hits.

I love Thin Lizzy.

Such an underrated band and huge influence on the NWOBHM. 4+.

I don't love live albums, and I hope that this isn't the only Thin Lizzy entry on this list. But as far as live albums go, this one is great, partly because Thin Lizzy was just so killer live and have so many great songs. It's well recorded, and it captures their energy really well. Had a blast listening to this.

Really liked this album. Great live album with lots of good tracks. 4/5

Liked it, classic rock

Lots of guitar solos. Actually this was pretty solid. And I have not heard much of this band before.

All metal is shit, right? Apart from Thin Lizzy. I was going to write some snark such as Live and Dangerous? Live and Limp, more like. But this is half decent for a genre I don't give a stuff about. OK, so it may not actually be live. *shhhhh* Neither was The Style Council's Home and Abroad. And that was bloody awful. I'd take Thin Lizzy over that, any day.

for me this is a lot of 70s hard rock all at once, but it's good 70s hard rock. 7/10

7/10. When I see an artist's name, I make some assumptions about the album. From "Thin Lizzy" I figured this would probably be a female lead singer/solo act, and be pirate music. I'd say I was about 20% right, because the band was Irish

This is where the hold steady got it

This is a rock band at its peak. It’s live; they play loud; there’s a touch of metal, a song about cowboys, ballads, and that one jam you can sing along to. Delightful.

Started out not liking it, but it grew on me.

Really wanted to give this 3. 5 great album but just struggle with the hype around it.

Great live album

Álbum ao vivo muito bem executado. A escolha das músicas e sequência das músicas demonstraram a categoria do rock da banda.

Not a huge fan, but I can see the appeal of this as a live album.

A great introduction to Thin Lizzy 3 Only half of it is availible on spotify tho. But that half is pretty great so whatever. 4
