Good opener. Summery vibe. White stripes feel to it. I like the electronica with rock. Weekend wars has a Beatles taste to it.
Not my style. I don't think this album aged well.
You could feel the power in his voice. Truly an icon.
What came first, the Clash or Elvis. Some iconic songs on this one, including some covers he made his own. It's not something I would typically go out of my way to listen to, but I enjoyed the carefree feel of the era.
Era defining album. Some of the tracks are still played today. An album I own on vinyl.
One of the greatest metal albums ever.
Not a fan. I understand it's an iconic album, but I can't bring myself to listen to it. It can stay in that era.
Very 80s vibe to it. Two songs on the album that I recognised. The social commentary of the album is spot on for the time. The Disco 2000 is a song I remember playing on the TV from my youth.
Guitar driven pop. Good album. Would be good driving album.
Not bad. I enjoyed this grungy indie band.
This was good album. Some defining songs on there for MJ. Still not as good as Thriller, but was a good listen. The Disco sound was a positive.
Loving this album. I don't usually listen to hip hop, but loving the elements of funk and rock. I'd come back to this album again.
Feels like I'm playing as an extra in Tropico. A groovy album that made me feel like I was sitting in a hot and sweaty bar in Cuba.
I've never listen to a soul jazz album before but enjoyed this. I think this would be particularly good live. I enjoyed the ongoing rhythm throughout.
Great songwriters. Good album.
This is a solid album. I'm loving the driving force throughout the length of it. The walk of music hits every song. You can tell this would have gone down well in a sweaty, smoky pub in the 70s and 80s.
A more heavier sound than Daft Punk. A good album.
Didn't really take much from this album. Very generic and not worth a second listen.
A lot of good songs on it. But there were a couple I had to skip.
This album reminded me of Arcade Fire. I'm not sure who came first, but overall it was an enjoyable album. I liked the random, but seemingly normal song titles like the song writer has wrote most of these songs sitting on a bus, taking inspiration from his trip. For example, "Starlings", "The Loneliness of a Crane Driver"
The album that introduced me to Blues. A great album for a drive. The riff for Midnight Rambler always gets stuck in my head. 👍
I can see how the RHCP was influenced by these guys. A lot of the early RHCP seem to be directly related to songs from this album. I enjoyed the funk.
A very relaxing album. I'll add this into the mix.
Having never listened to a Bob Marley & the Wailers album before I was pleasantly surprised. The chill mood of this album that it outputs leaves you surprised when you start listening to the lyrics of the album and the political ideas that they are communicating. I enjoyed it.
Never listened to a Bruce Springsteen album. Wasn't a fan of the saxophone. They should be left in the 70s and 80s. Nothing really stood out for me, except for 'Born to Run' of course.
One hell of a voice, from one hell of a trashy lady.
I know what to expect with Slipknot and they deliver on this album. A couple of good songs to sing a long to and a lot to drum your rage away.
Not their best work, but there still delivering in what was their 4th (?) studio album.
Cool album cover. Too bad the production sucked.
A good album from one of the greatest. He's only just reappeared on Spotify and I can finally listen to an album.
I thought it was on. Not a fan of Beck singing though.
This was a great album. Great music to accompany Red Dead.
I couldn't listen to the whole album. Sledgehammer was great, but I couldn't go much further from there.
Good jazz funk album. No lyrics allows me to focus on the task at hand when doing other things. A great introductory album.
Good vibe
I love QOTSA. Great album. "If Only" a stand out track. "I Was A Teenage Hand Model" was cool to listen to through my car speakers. Different sounds coming out from all different directions.
Easy listening
Nothing really caught me on this one.
Started off well then went down from there. Maybe the impact he was after was in the title to begin with.
Pretty futuristic. But not digging it.
80s music just doesn't sit well with me. I dread it everytime I see it come up.
A couple of all time classics on this one. A great album that I haven't had the chance to listen to in full.
An enjoyable album.
Classic punk. Good album.
Not a fan of 80s music. I just can't bring myself to enjoy it.
Al and Graceland were the saviours on this album for me.
What were these guys smoking?
An album to play around a campfire while sipping port or whiskey. Loved it.
I liked this instrumental album. Great back ground music.
Liked it for the cover. Liked it for the music.
Fantastic album. "Since I've Been Loving You" is an all time favourite.
Such a powerful voice. Great album.
I really digged it.
First time I've listen to Miles Davis and I'm impressed. Haven't heard much jazz before but it's easy to see why this is considered to be the greatest jazz album of all time.
Peak Coldplay. It was all down hill from here.
Fantastic singing talent. Really enjoyed the Click Song, House of the Rising Sun and the laughter throughout One More Dance.
Fantastic album. Rick Rubin had a fantastic idea to revive his career. Personal Jesus and Hurt are favourites of this album. A beautiful album to listen to via headphones.
Good on small doses, but I couldn't listen to the whole thing.
Having never listen to ZZ Top outside of their big singles, I must say I was quite surprised with this album. I'll be travelling down the ZZ Top rode to check out what else they have on offer.
Not feeling it. I didn't make it through the whole album.
I can take it or leave it. Nothing special.
Great production quality for a live album from the 70s
Great album. Up there in their top albums. Changes, Snowblind and Supernaut are highlights.
Good album.
I really enjoy this old school hip hop.
Pretty slow listening
It's not bad. I like the laid back Mexican feel. It's good background music.
What the fuck was that?
Too poppy for me.
Some songs hit alright. But I'm not a U2 fan. This would have been a great album back in the day. It would have broke some boundaries.
Generational defining album.
Super cheesy
Great album. One of their best.
Great album.
Proper thrash.
A bit slow. Popular for the time.
Great album. Can't help but play this one loud.
Nice and relaxing. Enjoying it.
Not a fan of Elvis Costello. His voice always seems to be the same on each track.
Lost. Stand out track.
Not bad for Dave's first solo album. I like how he recorded this himself. They still have better albums to come.
Nice and chill. I love listening to this background music.
Great album. Only way to pay this is loud.
Important album but they did better than this.
First AC/DC album I bought on CD. A classic album. No filler in this one. All grunt.
How did Tom Waits get this album past anyone?
Still holds up well today.
Decent album
Started off strong until the third song.
Classic.
Great live album
Great album. Well paced.
One of the top Rock albums of all time
I couldn't get passed the power tools song. Either should you.
The band that influenced System of a Down
On another day, I may have given this a 5 star review. I can't quite do that today though, the angst nu metal rap I'm finding it hard to dig into.
The Man That Sold The World is a 5/5.
"Clap your fucking hands!!" - Ozzy Osbourne
Turn this one up LOUD! Bass explosion!
Absolute classic
I respect country music as a genre
X. It's a no from me.
Fit but you know it and dry your eyes mate saves it from getting a 1. I wish the rest of the album had more life like these songs.
Nothing special
The Freeform Guitar really threw me off this album.
Would have been a five if the album went a bit shorter.
