I would have probably never picked up this album were it not for this site. It’s just not me. But I am so glad I did. I give every album a chance and this was really good. Love the guitar and drums through the whole thing. I will probably listen to more of their albums now.
The music is great! But I didn’t like the vocals at first. Upon second listen it grew on me. Another nice surprise.
Jazzy. I liked it a lot.
Very interesting, I like it. If you love this concept check out the group “Two Steps From Hell”. I listen to them while I read and write.
Not my favorite Beatles album but some of my favorite Beatles songs.
This is just sound effects and background noise.
I know Rush and some of their songs, but this was the first time I really sat down to Experience Rush. Now I’m hooked.
5 Shining Stars!
I need a G-I-R-L-F-R-E-N
This was like listening to a cartoon.
A couple good songs but not an album I’d listen to again.
One of the best albums in this list. Saved it and I’m going to listen to more of their albums. Perfect background music for work.
Love Muse. So great songs on this one.
Great 80s British vibe.
Good for heavy metal I guess. Most songs sound the same to me. The song “No Good” is pretty good.
Already love this album. I guess I never really listened to the whole thing before. It’s good but “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova” are two of my all time favorite songs.
A kilo is a thousand grams, that’s easy to remember. “R.A.G.U” has a great beat, love the way it fades out at the end. “Whip You with a Strap” was too real. The last two songs are probably the best. Overall, I like hip-hop in general but the lyrics, I can not approve of.
Pretty good for ska. Appreciate that it’s early ska. Fun and funny.
This is really good, interesting and easy to listen to. I always thought this would’ve been more punk-ish. They got into a lot of other styles.
I didn’t realize all those great songs were one album. Excellent.
So this is kind of the problem with 1001 albums to hear before you die. There’s a lot of them and I don’t always have something to write. There’s a lot of good ones and some bad ones that I’m like why are these on there and there’s a lot of middle ground ones. This for me falls under the middle ground level. It’s good but not great.
Classic.
Mello
Classic.
This was really good. Felt like old school hip-hop.
Sleepy.
No no no no. Don’t call my mamma. What’s in a good boy.
Fast Cars!
Relaxing.
Great flow. Would listen again.
Love the funky style intro.
I remember this being big when I was in high school. Song 2 was the only one I knew and it’s the only song on here that I like. The rest of the album didn’t do much for me.
Better than I thought it was gonna be.
“Everybody Hurts” Took me right back to my middle school angst. Forgot how good this album is.
A Sailors Life 💞 wish I knew that song back in my Navy days. So sad tho. This is one of the few albums that I’ve listened to over and over and it gets better each time. I love the Folk style of this. Percy’s Somg is really great as well.
These guys say Funk more times per song than Imagine Dragons says Thunder. But pretty good funk music.
It’s 1993 and Pet Shop Boys are still holding on the the 80s, and it’s all really good. I don’t remember them but I wish I did. Looks like they are still making albums all the way up to 2024. Definitely checking more out.
Love her style.
Mellow
Great album. Lots of songs to dance to. Fantastic guitar and instrumental.
I recently watched a movie called “Blinded by the Light”, it made me appreciate the Boss in a way I never had before, and got me to listen to this album twice.
That was pretty good for a live album. I like it, even though I haven’t really ever listened to this band before. only knew one song for this.
Classic. Listened to it all day. Still stuck in my head.
Ska!
It’s okay. Nothing stood out.
French death metal.
Pure acoustic guitar Bliss.
I like cold play and I know this was a popular album for them but this one didn’t seem as good as some of the others.
I’ve never intentionally listen to Elvis, but I knew most of these songs.
Different and very good.
I guess it was a good day.
I don’t know what I just listened to, but I liked it. “Two Buffalo gals go around the outside around the outside around the outside.” Lots of experimentation but in good ways.
What? Weird. Some songs remind me of my ex-wife, like “Go cry on someone else’s shoulder” and “How could I be such a fool?” Left me craving creamcheese.
Fantastic guitar.
Lots of great classic songs here.
Like a greatest karaoke hits album.
Fantastic instrumentals.
First time hearing the rest of the album always loved the first song. Very good.
First song is good. Not really into the rest of it.
Loved the ending to the last song. Fun album.
Interesting album. Seems to go back and forth between blues and old style country music.
Never heard of this before but instantly added to my library.
The album was recommended the day after Brian Wilson died. It’s actually one of my favorite oldies bands growing up in Florida and we got to see them in concert in my teens.
One long space song.
Wow, this is so good and a lot of people have sampled from this.
Perfect for focus at work
