I guess it's okay, Nile Rodger's guitar playing is really evident throughout

Not really a fan of hip hop, but I found this album pretty interesting. I liked the kalimba in the song One Love, because that's not something you hear often. I think I enjoyed the second half a bit more than the first half.

I listened to the extended version with 4 tracks on it. When I first saw it was just 4 long tracks, I was already excited because I really like these kinds of long jammy songs because you get to really appreciate the musicianship of all those that play on it. Overall enjoyed this one very much.

I was initially excited for the second side as it was more conceptual and proggy, but while listening to it, it didn't quite captivate me as I thought it would, but that said I do still like the second side more than the first. I really liked the instrumentation, especially on the second side with the Irish folk instruments.

Not normally a fan of rap music, but I thought this one was pretty good. 4/5

I thought I was gonna like this one as this is usually the kind of music I like, but surprisingly didn't quite hook me on. Maybe it's better with the movie. 3/5

Not really a fan of hip hop, but I tried to have an open mind for this album because the last 2 hip hop albums I got were surprised me a lot, and I quite enjoyed those 2 albums. But this one just doesn't do it for me. Also I think she says her name too much.

I really enjoyed this one, it's very chill and just generally very pleasant to listen to.

I have always admired the Beach Boy's complex harmonies. Having seen the movie Love and Mercy, and knowing the story behind this album, I am very glad that Brian Wilson got this opportunity to finally complete this album. But of course this album only leaves us to wonder what the original could've been like.

His voice is really good

Can definitely hear some AC/DC influence on some of these songs, and also hear how this influence future metal albums.

I feel indifferent to this one, it's not that bad, but its also not what I would normally listen to.

When I was a kid, my grandfather would play a lot of CCR in the car when he drove me to and from school. So this brings back a lot of good memories. So I don't necessarily feel like I can objectively judge this album as nostalgia would put this instantly at a 5, even though this is definitely not an album I would ever see myself wanting to listen to during my day to day activities. But those good memories are too hard put aside just for a review, so 5.

I feel like the album was full of very interesting musical ideas, but the end product wasn't quite as exciting as I hoped.

I really liked listening to this, it was really nice and pretty.

I had heard the name lcd soundsystem before, but never any of their music. I thought the songs were pretty good, but some were a bit repetitive.

I'm not sure if it's his style/instrumentation in combination with his voice, or just because I saw Toy Story a million times as a child, but this album gave me some nostalgic vibes.

Had a pretty tough day regarding a tragedy in my family, so I feel like this album came at just the right time.

I really like the idea behind the album, not writing anything, and just asking the band to improvise base on a given set of scales

I really enjoyed quite a lot of the tracks

Not really my kind of music, I do generally like celtic music, especially those with uilleann pipes, but this is just not it for me.

The moment you hear that snare drum, you know this was made in the 80s. I can never understand why everyone in the 80s suddenly decided to make their snare drums sound like this, its like being repeatedly punched in the face. Although with that said, I think the songs weren't too bad.

It's fine, not too bad, not really my kind of music though.

This is an easy 5/5, YYZ is so good, and its one of my favourite songs to play on guitar

This is the album that inspired the Beach Boys to make Pet Sounds, which is one of my favourite albums, so this already gets a high score for that. But beyond that, the songs on this album are so good, which justifies the high score.

I really enjoyed listening to this album, the songs were very nice and chill

Led Zeppelin has got be one of the greatest bands of all time, you put 4 extremely talented and proficient musicians together, and the result is some of the greatest music every written.

It's not bad, I really liked a lot of the guitar parts in these songs.

Didn't expect to get another Led Zeppelin album so soon after my first one on this list, and once again this album is absolutely fantastic. It is such a good showcase of the 4 members' skills and abilities.

Although I really liked the ambient music of the second half, I just feel like they don't really fit together with the more rock/pop songs of the first half, and I think it might have been better as 2 separate releases.

A very interesting album by a man with a very interesting back story.

I was quite intrigued from the art, and I did quite like the first couple of songs, but then the subsequent songs all kinda sounded the same.

Wow I liked this much more than I expected. I've always been a sucker for concept albums, but even without the concept, the music itself is amazing.

I understand this album is the precursor to much of rock music, with tutti fruitti being especially important in that regard, but most of the songs on here sound the same. I really want to give it a high grade for its importance, but I don't feel this album is captivating enough to justify that.

I do agree that perhaps the album was a bit too long, and there was some songs in here that felt like filler songs, but I really enjoyed the album as a whole.

This is an easy 5/5, so much emotion going through all of these songs, you can clearly hear how much they miss Syd Barrett, and it's overall such a fantastic album.

He's a really good rapper, but unfortunately rap just isn't really my thing

I liked quite a lot of the songs, although I feel like some of the songs are too slow. The drummer quite audibly speeds up in quite a few of them and I feel like he's finding it hard to play so slow

I have been wanting to listen to this album for a while now, so glad to finally have the chance. I really liked most of it, the only bit I didn't like was the free form jazz part of Moonchild. It felt a little needless and just kinda there not doing much. So unfortunately, although I liked everything else, the majority of Moonchild drops this down to a 4/5

Honestly I found the songs kinda boring, and they just didn't really captivate me in any way.

I don't understand industrial/noise music, but props to them for inventing a whole genre.

Listening to more hip hop still doesn't make me like it

Prior to today, I think the only Blur song I had heard before was Song 2. There has been quite a few Gorillaz songs that I really like, so I was pretty excited to finally check out Blur's music. Overall I quite enjoyed this, and I will probably check out some more of Blur's music after this.

This was a surprise to me. The first song already had me hooked with its alternating 5/4 and 7/4. Overall really enjoyed this one.

I prefer the Beatles' later work much more than their earlier work, so there was quite a lot of songs on this one that I had never heard of before. But overall, pretty good

Brian Eno is another one of those names that I have heard of lots before, but never listened to any of his music, I quite enjoyed this one.

Just not really feeling it

5/5 of course. How could you not like ABBA. Their sound and harmonies are instantly recognizable, and overall their songs are just classics.

Still not really that big a fan of hip hop, but music wise, this wasn't so bad. Also I think the themes present in this album is very interesting and quite relatable to many people across many backgrounds, very refreshing to see a hip hop album where they are not pretending to be gangsters.

The songs are definitely quite interesting. I like the lo-fi DIY vibe of all the songs, but not too sure about the atonal elements in some of the songs. Those sound like they could be part of the artistic intent, or it could just be poorly played parts. Guess we'll never know which it really is.

This my favourite album ever. It is a musical masterpiece and it clearly shows as its the best selling album ever.

I had never actually listened to any Jimi Hendrix albums in their entirety until now, although I have heard lots of his songs. As a guitar player myself, the guitar parts alone in this album is already a lot of unpack, but the couple of songs with experimentations with stereo panning adds so much more.

The songs all sound the same, and none of it was interesting at all. 1/5

So many of my favourite Beatles songs are on this album, and then you get to the songs on this album that aren't as good as the others, and even those are really good songs. On top of that, I think it's crazy that the Beatles were able to make a plain white square one of the most iconic album covers ever.

I had heard of the group before but never any of their music. There was a lot here that I really liked.

He's definitely a very good rapper, but rap is not my thing.

BB King is definitely one of the greatest, although I'm not sure how often I'd be going back to listen to his stuff.

I really liked the first song, but the rest of the album not as much.

I would give this a 5, but it is clear from their perfect playing that there is considerable overdubbing in this live album, which I think makes this live album not really a live album.

I've never volunteered to listen to any bob marley before this, but I think I get why people like his music.

I had only heard of PJ Harvey from her contributions to the Desert Sessions which I am a fan of, so it's no surprise that I would enjoy this album too.

I have so much respect for Jack White as a musician and guitarist, but other than seven nation army, I hadn't really ever listened to any of his other music. Listening to this album, I don't understand how anyone can even say Meg White is a bad drummer. She may not be the flashiest drummer but her parts fit all the songs extremely well.

That was so interesting musically. The orchestral backing was fantastic and the overall vibe of the album sort of reminds me of some disney movies.

It's not bad, but one thing I don't understand is why these rap albums are all so long.

Some very interesting songs

I love metallica, but I have to dock points because of the mixing of the album. How can you possibly call this and justice for all if there is no justice for the bass. Even if the bass were just doubling the guitar riffs, it would have made the guitar riffs so much more rich and thick. But oh well 4/5

Second metallica album in a row, this one I am much more familiar with. I think it says a lot seeing as how so many of the songs on this album ended up become some of Metallica's most famous songs.

All the songs have such thick texture. I really enjoyed the production of the songs, they all seem kind of simple at the top, but when you really listen you start to see all the complexities of them.

The Clash is definitely one of the most important bands in history, but I don't think this first album really quite captured them yet. All the songs sound the same and it's not all that interesting.

The rhythm section is so tight, and the bass parts especially are so good.
