Reviews (page 7 of 7)
I really hated this.
Not what I was expecting. I like a good concept album, but this isn't really working for me. I just feel like other bands have done this sound more effectively. The flow between songs was nice though, so it has that going for it.
..
Ballet for a Rainy Day was the only track I really liked, smoother and reminded me of something for a Sesame Street track.
More tolerable than the other XTC album we listened to here. Still suffers from dopey lyrics, but they don't feel as belabored and it all has a Ren Faire vibe that feels more forgivable.
Never heard this group. This album doesn't seem to fit neatly within a genre, which makes a change. But the songs just didn't seem memorable, quite dull. There are some but very few tracks I'd listen to again if they came on. Highlights: Ballet For A Rainy Day Season Cycle
Knock off Beatles
I just don't get the appeal for this project. Some arrangements are nice enough, but I always fail to retain anything from their albums. Maybe some day it'll click with me.
First few songs are a misophonic minefield. Dear God is lame and so is having multiple versions of the album with it at different places. Han Shot First.
Nothing special about this one, 2 stars
Fuuuuuck... why? I love me some good 80s pop but this is not that. The *only* decent song on here is the one hit, Dear God and it's the only thing that saved this from a 1 star review.
That's not my taste in Musik.
Quite eclectic....lots of different styles, just nothing outstanding to my ear....
After the fist few review I was looking forward to this album. But what can I say: I got disappointed. Really nothing special there.
I think if i'd heard it at the time of release i would have liked it. The production is a bit thin sounding for an album that wants to be big, but the songs are well written . I'd prefer to listen to earlier XTC albums or Tears for Fears.
Weird.
I read other people's thoughts about this and I saw a lot of people saying it's like "Tears For Fears" and I can totally hear that. This was great value Tears for Fears. It arite.
I've never heard of this band at all. Interesting album. I did enjoy a few tracks and the music is unique and inspired. Nice use of synth. Dear God is a stand out and made my playlist. Glad to hear it but don't expect to revisit.
This wants to be a Beatles album sooooo badly. But it's not near good enough. The theme of the album is fun I guess.
Every time i thought i was getting into this, they did something to really annoy me. Not for me.
"summer's cauldron" and "dear god" were the main songs I paid attention to.
Bit inconsistent for me. I somewhat enjoyed some of the songs, and I found this album to be at least kind of unique compared to boring generic rock/post-punk stuff, but I can't really go higher than a strong 2, close to a really weak 3.
Too whimsical and pastoral for my liking.
XTC is the subject of the only Trash Theory video I came out of with LESS of an appreciation for a band. Absolutely no surprise that their only good song was written by the bass player and not the nonce who started this whole pointless endeavor.
Not bad, but I kind of tuned it out often since it never really grabbed my attention. There were some good parts, but overall it just didn't do much for me. 2.5/5
Generally inoffensive synth and singer songwriter minimalism.
xtc's skylarking started off good, lost its way in the middle, but managed to find its footing by the end of the album. "dear god," a song that details letters to god asking why people that he created in his image are suffering, is exactly what saved this album. of course, i discovered after listening that the final song "dear god" was only a b side for the lead single and not even on the original pressing! so i cannot in good conscious include that in my review. the bulk of the album comes across as early beach boys but nowhere near as fun. no substance to be found and the songs mold together. the beginning of the album was definitely the most interesting. there are cute titles like "that's really super, supergirl" or included a multitude of outdoor evening insect noises in "summer's cauldron." but this wasn't enough to get the album up to a 3.
On one hand, I didn't find this album to be incredibly interesting. On the other hand, I was intrigued by the quirkiness of it -- an 80s new wave type album that is also dabbling in 60s psychedelic. Not quite a 3 for me.
Can't say I really vibed with this. None of the tracks stood out for me and one or two I almost skipped because they just sounded...not good. Not for me.
This brand of poppy 80's rock is pretty hit or miss for me. XTC is a band I wasn't particularly familiar with, and their story is an interesting one. However, this album is just kind of a lot of bubblegum. I can't call any tracks bad, but I also didn't find any particularly good. It was like a greatest hits cover album or something.
I know others love this, but I just can't connect with it. It's not bad music, it just really isn't for me.
Few good songs but didn’t care for 80% of this
Everything I hate about 80s music. Dear God was the saving grace and the only song that stood out to me
This sounds like someone trying to rip off popular music from the 60s and try and make it cool again. Except they didn’t succeed. This album is kind of all over the place and is hard to enjoy. Don’t see this being revisited and not sure again why this album is on the list. 4.0/10
This was hard to listen to until the end.
Underwhelming
Paljon toivoa oli mutta pimputteluksi meni.. Pamauttelia olisi kiva.. Olisikohan huomisen albumissa.. Lytiikat lieköhöb world classm. jaksa meikä poika..
2.5
I thought I'd like this. I did not.
I liked the last song. The rest I could live without hearing. Boring pop but hey, the songs transitions nicely.
1st and last songs are powerful! but the rest, honestly terrible and not to my taste at all 2/5
It wasn't good. It got boring and at times I just wanted it to end. The album seemed to improve some but not much. No need to revisit and it is on par with the other XTC album on the list.
It’s an interesting album to be sure. Never really listened to XTC so didn’t know what to expect other than assuming it was going to sound like music from the 80’s. It was decent
I was unimpressed and all ready to give a 2 and then a favorite 80s song comes up as the last track: “Dear God.” Then I was all confused and not sure what to do! I’m sticking with my 2 but it’s really 2.5 for it’s fantastic ending.
I am learning that I don't like New Wave very much, with a few exceptions. Still, it was fortunate to get XTC and Devo in quick succession so I can compare them. I would describe XTC as more earnest and serious, while Devo is absurdist, sarcastic, playful. I think the latter tone suits the genre so much more naturally.
regular
DNF. not for me and i’ve tried a thousand times to listen to this record. white flag.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from XTC. They’re one of those bands that I know definitely exist, and the sort of period they worked in … but that’s it. Cure-y. Less poppy. I quite like the feel, I like the vocals, some interesting lyrics. It’s not super 80s. There are a lot of ideas going on, at times I found it a complicated listen. I reckon it would be a grower. With a bit of time it would probably give a lot back. Alas, I’m not sure I can’t see myself choosing to listen to it ever again.
Really stale with a couple of good moments
It’s just not for me
Eh
Overall, it was a fine album but I didn't hear anything truly special about this one. At times it sounded like if the Talking Heads took a less weird direction. Overall, it was mediocre. Everything was played well but nothing really stood out to me. Standout tracks: Mermaid Smiled, Dear God
I don’t think this is really my vibe but it made nice background music for tidying up! I found Dear God pretty chilling. It was otherwise kind of hard to distinguish between the songs, they all sounded very similar
Failed to trigger any meaningful emotions. I’d classify this as just another one of many (most) albums.
I don't think this stands the test of time very well. Seemed really bland and trying to be a bit Beatlesy in places. A couple of standout tunes that weren't so bad give it an extra star.
I’ve come to realize I really only like “Making Plans For Nigel” from XTC, and, reader, that song's not on this record.
Meh
If the Beatles chose to go New Wave they’d sound nothing like this, but kind of close. Dear God was pretty awful.
Not bad, but not really great.
I was really annoyed by this album. I'll acknowledge their uniqueness and creativity, but I could rest in peace without having to hear XTC ever again.
Ok...I enjoyed about a third of it and could leave the rest. 2.5/5
I had expectations that this would be more of a dance/electronic album, but found it to be too “pop” and more mellow than I expected. Listen again: no Purchase for my collection: no Favourite Song:
I just didn't care fir this. Overly twee.
Just boring
When the final song came on, Dear God, I thought thank god. Although, it was probably my favourite track of this drab drab album.
Terrible, dry and boring
Didn't click for me at all. There were glimpses and moments where i connected but as a whole I found it pretty grating and disjointed. Maybe I'll like it more if I listen again at some later date but who knows. 2/5
Zzzzz... Tydelig datert musikk. Kjedelig melodi, kjedelig tekst.
It sounded of the 80s (ironic ik bc it was made 1986 but in a way unexpected): I was unsure the whole way through on whether to enjoy or hate each and every song. After some time I can see myself vibing to this album on repeat but at the end of the day none of it stuck in my head and screamed to me "FUCK THIS IS GOOD". On that note it's just underwhelming.
Not bad, but it sounded like fairly generic electro-pop
Kind of forgettable, but fine. ‘Dear God’ is a great song, though. Close to a 3, but I’d say more of a 2.
Some good tracks. But it's kinda weird overall. Never really got into a groove for me.
Underwhelming.
This is not good. The lyrics are a bit too cheesy and in places godawful, the music is quite simplistic. Seems to be trying really hard to make a big hit, but it just sounds too constructed to be good, and there's nothing memorably good about this. The last track is as close as it gets to being interesting, but the lyrics are a bit obvious and in your face. 2/5.
Before today, I'd never heard of XTC, so I had no idea what I was in for. Turns out that these guys are another obscure British rock band (this generator seems to love that genre a lot). It sounds like a shittier version of Tears for Fears. The album cover for Skylarking, upon first glance, looks like a woman laying down with a man squatting over her, and the woman performing fellatio on him. Upon further inspection, they are both playing flutes for some reason. That was probably done on purpose to look that way, because the first few songs on the record were about banging in the wilderness. XTC's sound was weird to nail down. They were kind of all over the place. For example: Season Cycle sounds like a Beach Boys song. The song Dying was a terribly morbid song. Dear God is an anti-religious anthem that would make anyone with a strong faith cringe. This is one of those bands that either put out bangers, or complete garbage, with nothing in between. This record had a strong start, but dropped off and slammed into a wall on the second half of the record. Overall, a weird one today. Not something I can ever see myself listening to again, and not really sure what this influenced, so I don't really know why it's included in this list? Favorite songs: Grass, Summer's Cauldron, Earn Enough For Us Least favorite songs: 1000 Umbrellas, Another Satellite, "That's Really Super, Supergirl", Mermaid Smiled, The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul, Dear God 2/5
The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul oli mielenkiintoinen jazzi vivahteinen kappale ja lopetus Dear God ihan ok. Muut kappaleet ei jääneet oikein mieleen.
Fine. Not really for me. Didn't hate it but won't be back. Found it abit one dimensional.
This was fine for me as background music. Can't really say much more.
This album has told me absolutely nothing :/
Its not bad, just remarkably uninteresting
"Due to poor management, XTC never received a share of profits from record sales (of which there were millions), nor from touring revenue, forcing them into debt throughout the 1980s and 1990s." Wow... that.... sucks. Anyway, there was a pretty good song or two, but it was pretty hard to listen to straight through without skipping halfway into a song that I couldn't stand.
kinda annoying, kinda entertaining. The whole sound of this album is just off; like 1 riff will be fun or a chorus will be catchy but the rest of the song doesn't sit well with it. some standouts and some stinkers. best tracks: grass, ballet for a rainy day, season cycle
That's just kind of a mess, isn't it? Why is this held is such high regard? There's not a single track that stands out and the whole album is riddled with random sound effects scattered around the mix like ants crawling around a picnic blanket. What a waste of time.
I don't like it, it's really annoying.
Esto estuvo fome
Whoops I forgot to listen but I already know I don’t like this album.
Hokey.
Competent, airy and not my thing.
Wednesday, actually do some work, work out, back tight, chill, mice, walk, uneventful
Voice reminds me a lot of tears for fears. A but yelpy.
It was kind of fun and new and interesting at first, but grew more tedious as the album went on, finally turning into boring 90s sitcom music toward the middle (I mean, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a show with the exact plot as Earn Enough For Us and Big Day). I love 80s punk as much as the next guy, but this is definitely skippable.
Dated production bubbling pop
XTC is boring! Sorry!
Not my style.
- Never heard an XTC song before - First album from this that I didn't really enjoy - Liked a couple of songs, disliked a couple, meh on most - Fav songs: Grass, Ballet for a Rainy Day
ok not one i would bother with again.
Best Song: Dear God. Simple but earnest lyricsc, with a nice build towards crescendo in the end. Worst Song: Season Cycle. Sounds like the opening to a sitcom I wouldn't like. Overall: Other than a few highlights, a big bunch of British boredom. Certainly doesn't belong on this list, for how little reaction it manages to elicit in its nearly hour long runtime.
Tämä 80-lukulainen tribuutti 60-luvulle yhdistää hyviä melodioita outoihin (väkinäisiin) sointuvaihdoksiin. Ei saa minua ansaan.
Not my style
Nah
I know the XTC has a cult following and has been very influential in the music industry, but this elicited a heavy 'Meh'.
Is it possible that I would have such a strong reaction to Queen if I hadn't heard it a million times growing up on the radio? Because actively choosing to push play on this album for the first time was not one of my best decisions. There are plenty of similarities between Queen and XTC ... like they're both British. One thing I thought interesting is that Todd Rungren produced this album... I bet that wasn't his best decision either ... or was it(?) Todd Rungren 'working' with XTC may've been the catalyst for this brilliant earworm... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7Tcggo45TQ
A prolific English band places their 9th and 13th albums on the list. I wonder how many artists on the list took nine albums to generate something worthy. But here comes XTC, with a British album from the mid-80s that doesn’t have synths! Potential? Not really. “Skylarking” is much more cohesive than “Apple Venus vol. 1,” but also more consistently annoying.
At first I thought I didn’t like this because it was kind of boring. But then the nasally vocals got to me. And then I hit some really not good songs. All around thumbs down.
I did not find auditory ecstasy while listening to XTC.
Better than expected
Nothing exceptional about this. Boring and at its best sounds like a derivative of Elvis Costello or Joe Jackson
Didn't make it through this one. It's fine, but not my thing
I'd tell anyone who asked that I like XTC but this album isn't doing it for me. Dear God is a phenomenal song - the kid singing the first verse give me chills - but they decided to leave this song off the album! You've gotta be kidding.
Niet geheel mijn ding. Nogal zagerig soms
XTC never did anything for me
Pretty dull
There's a good album in here somewhere... appalling lyrics though kill any chance of finding it though
Don't get it, seems at once twee and pretentious
Solid in the first half, with interesting and unexpected melodies for an 80s Brit pop effort. Unfortunately gives in to its roots on the back, resorting to that intolerable sniveling vocal delivery the Brits were so fond of at the time plus overdramatic yet somehow equally bland songwriting.
not for me
Pop suave y discreto.
Not very special, but not badbad. For the most parts. 2 Weird and boring. "Dear God" is really good though.
“Clever-but-distant.”
Despite it not being my thing, it had moments that I didn't mind.
Meh
Another that wasn't bad, but also wasn't very exciting. I enjoyed Summer's Cauldron and Grass the most.
Some tracks were interesting, like "The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul". But the singing was done in a way that sounded out of tune a lot, which made the album mostly annoying to listen to. Sounded like Olaf when trying to hit high notes, lol. Best track: "Dear God"
Felt like background noise
I just couldn’t get into it. Maybe under different circumstances, but I don’t have the time to care today.
First track reminded me of the new radicals and it never recovered.
Saccharine for most of its runtime and still resoundingly corny when it isn't, Skylarking is just too lame for me to get into. I'll give them credit for experimenting with different genres in the back half, but Andy Partridge's vocals keep me from really enjoying the more ambitious sound. The most interested I was at any point in this album was when they flirt with more outright pop stuff, so maybe I should give Todd Rundgren a shot. Key Tracks: That's Really Super, Supergirl
Not a fan of XTC, but interestingly, I liked the song "Dear God". Not sure if it's because I already know of it, or its tune is nice.
I don't get XTC. It sounds like children's music. Maybe their lyrics are good? I can't get past the annoying singsong vocals and nursery rhyme melodies.
I guess you had to be there
I'd heard a few tracks before but it was nothing like this. I was dissapointed to be honest and didn't really like.
That's a no.
meh
Got boring real quick
2/5 nothing rememberable
mid-80s singy-songy music. interesting lyrics.
Rollo patatero.
wasnt too bad
I don't remember anything from this album
sigh
Boring
Decent pop rock, I should dive a bit more to.
meh
ok album. does this need to be on this list?
One standout song. The rest felt a little bland.
Not my style
eh
Started off strong but quickly got into everything I hate about the 80s
Really didn’t enjoy this
The Good: We get to fool around! The Bad: It’s not the kind of fooling around we’d hoped for… The Ugly: Another XTC fail… So the previous XTC album I had to rate got a 1* and I mentioned in that rating that I was looking forward to listening to this album as, according to the intrawebs, this album #9 was a real favorite with those people who know about music… I know nothing about music… 1* PS the Dear God song, all at the end of the album, is the only descent song on the damn album… and it was originally not even on the album… I should subtract points for that...
boring
Like a worse Duran Duran. Couldn’t stand it.
Rubbish I tell ya, XTC is rubbish. I thought they were a fun band before this project, but after listening to their albums in full I realize I was naive.
I hate this so fucking much.
Just no. Very samey. Not interesting. Didn’t like this.
I had a poor impression heading in and after listening to it it didn't even meet that low expectation.
I did not care one bit
Forgettable
It is a rare album that makes you challenge your deepest beliefs about the meaning of life. This is such an album. After Skylarking, I now believe that reincarnation is real and that I have done some sort of horrendous, unspeakable acts in a previous life for which I must now atone. That is the only explanation for the punishment I endured by listening to this torturous collection of musical masturbation disguised as songs. They are so far up their own asses with this music, I have no idea how anyone let this be released. There remain no redeeming moments in this endeavor. It is a boring, pointless collage of off-key singing and other assorted unpleasantness. What a bunch of asshats!
What was the point?
There is a reason why people don’t buy albums. That’s because they are not very good. This is a good example of that. This album, like a lettuce has not got better with time.
Nothin really stands out, this is pretty forgettable and this is what makes good albums so sweet.
This was terrible. I wanted to tie it off but I powered through. I was not rewarded.
Fair to say I hated that. Basically a guy whining off-key to the sound of a ticking clock. I gave up after three songs and put on Raw Power.
Wow I really just wanted this to end
This style of music is just not for me.
Oof... I did not like that. Some songs were okay but others felt like they were off key. I don't know exactly what it was but it just was not pleasant.
This shit is so boring and so lame it made me legitimately angry. Never again.
Ugh. Not my jam.
All of this, from the singing, to songwriting to music, is only vaguely entertaining. Far too theatrical for my liking. Sounds like a bunch of idiots trying to be British bards.
The hell is this?
I hated this. Maybe I'm missing something, but it was a chore to get through.
1. Summer's Cauldron - 5 Average rock song. Lyrically okay, instrumentally okay, vocally okay. There is nothing overly remarkable about this track. 2. Grass - 4 It's not great vocally. I think the sound of the vocals is what I take most issue with here. Instrumentally it's fine, and the outro fade is enjoyable but overall this is just a boring track. 3. The Meeting Place - 3 Vocally unpleasant. The guitar and drums sound very good but the lyrics seem so random. It is as if they're trying to paint a metaphoric scene but use too many metaphors in the process of doing so. 4. That's Really Super, Supergirl - 1 Absolute cheese. 5. Ballet For A Rainy Day - 1 Vocally and lyrically very poor and way too inconsistent. 6. 1000 Umbrellas - 2 A little bit stronger in the vocal performance but still littered with inconsistencies and underwhelming lyrics. 7. Season Cycle - 1 Like a very poor Beatles track, which there's over five albums of them in this challenge so I'm sure we'll get to those too. Still, it's bubblegum-like 80s pop rock with poor lyrics and uninspiring instrumentals. 8. Earn Enough For Us - 1 If hippies sung about working a 9 to 5. That's about all this song is in a nutshell. And no, it doesn't sound good. 9. Big Day - 1 Rough sounding track. Lyrics are all over the place. Vocally it doesn't sound great either. 10. Another Satellite - 0 It has the same problems as Big Day but it's even worse sounding. 11. Mermaid Smiled - 3 Vocally it doesn't sound good but it's lyrically better written than the last two tracks. The guitar on the track is quite enjoyable. 12. The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul - 4 Much more fun track. It gets a little repetitive but it's still significantly better than a lot of the previous half of the album. 13. Dying - 2 Lyrically very repetitive. The pace is ok and is maintained well by the guitar but the track isn't particularly great. 14. Sacrificial Bonfire - 0 Just a random song with very random lyrics. The pace is all over the place and the insturments constantly come in, out, and stutter between with it. Also I don't know who the lead singer is but after fourteen tracks I think it's safe to say I think his voice is awful. 15. Dear God - 8 Lyrically this is miles better than anything else on the album. Really solid track and the instruments help the track and its theme magnificently. Average Rating: 2.40 Adjusted to 5-Point Scale: 1.20 Rounded Down: 1 Star
I don’t get it. Like, what’s with the overdramatized singing about non-dramatic topics with non-dramatic backing music? I actively did not like this — it’s like listening to a self-absorbed self-important version of Squeeze. Or like Joe Jackson (who I like) trying out for his high school play. A 1.
Poor
After enduring listening to this album my only hope is that the algorithm for Apple music won't serve it up to me again.
Crazy showing from Dave Grohl. Writing and recording all instruments while being a pivotal member of Nirvana.
fast 80s
I did not care for any song on this entire album
Nope
Quite simply....Crap
Dreadfully mundane. I really hoped for more from this. Track after track left me gobsmacked that they found *yet another* novel sequence of chords to blandly ring out and lackadaisically sing to. Boggles the mind, really.
I really like the Dear God & Senses Working Overtime. So I wanted to like this album, but I did not.
Boring
Well this is awful.
enjoyed the first 30 secs with birdsong, then quickly went downhill
I absolutely hated this album. Something about the vocals and the lyrics combined with overwhelmingly boring music made it hard not to hit the skip button on every track.
Meh, one good song
Bad bad bad
They have one good song and it isnt on this album. Rosie and Jim level songwriting.
Not a fan.
Overrepresentation of new wave and this is not one of the good ones. They say it sounds like the Beatles and I think that’s an insult to the Beatles 😆
I HATE NEW WAVE ITS DISGUSTING 0.5
I had high hopes for this but I did not like it at all. Some of the music was okay but I found the vocals so irritating, the guy's accent + singing style really grates for me at points (esp in Grass, Dying and Sacrificial Bonfire). 1 star given grudgingly
I've tried to listen to this 3 times, and got bored 3 times. Unsure why is this album on this list and what value it adds to the greatest albums but for me 1 star
Hated this one so much.
'Dear God' is the name of the last song, and also what I said to myself when I realised I had finally got there. I don't even think it's (objectively) bad, but I just honestly disliked listening to this and I don't exactly know why
Alternative band from the late 80’s/90’s. Music ok.
insipid
Why does anyone like this band. They are so boring.
Did not enjoy this album. Kinda found it like squeeze but without the humour.
Not for me. 1/5
Noooope
It’s like The Beatles but bad…
Utter shite that must only sound good to dildoes who missed the Beatles so much in the 80s that they settled for this garbage and tried to convince other people it was good.
Leaves me cold
Langweilig
meh, pass
could i write poetry to this? n
Sounds like Depeche Mode did shroms
This wasn't a record I expected to struggle with. And yet, it took me 4 tries to get through this album. It's painfully bland in the absolute worst way possible. After every song I thought "why am I listening to this, there's countless thousands of better records out there". One star for the lack of *anything* noteworthy artistically.
Not a fan. Lyrics seem pointless and not in sync with the rhythms. Move on. Cannot believe this album is highly rated.
Not for me 1/5
Not very special. I could not stand the whole record
Ruim demais, credo kkkkkk
Horrible. Pure garbage. Worst album on this list so far.
Not into it
this rock hard fortnight long constipation turd of an album makes me yearn for the classic 70s style 2 hits and filler album. XTC have 2 decent songs, neither of them were on this utter wank. this is so shite i'm annoyed i had to listen to it.
Really not into that 90's Britpop thing
Couldn't even manage to finish this album. Thought it was god awful.
Had absolutely no idea what to expect from this. Kinda wish I still didn't My initial impression was it was very 80s, but there's quite a lot of different styles in here. Don't think I really like much of it though! Most of it sounds like it's trying to sound like something else. Supergirl was quite catchy. 1000 umbrellas sounded a bit like Elvis Costello. The best track by far is dear God but that alone cannot redeem it. The rest is utter rubbish. I would feel guilty giving this the same as jay z as I much preferred that so this is getting a 1. Dear God is good though!
4 Tracks gehört, absoluter trash
There are about 15 songs by XTC that are absolute bangers. Every time one of them comes on I think "I should listen to more XTC." Then, I listen to more XTC and remember why I don't listen to more XTC. This is roughly a yearly occurrence. I struggled through this record, but I really liked 2 songs.
Not for me. I truly did not like any of the tracks.

Nope, did not like at all
This album was pretty dumb
Didn’t like
I found it quite boring. Not for me.
Hated it. Most of it sounded like 80s sitcom theme song music to me. Dear God was the best track and even that didn’t really vibe with me.
meh
Not an easy listen, that’s for sure
