There where some really good tunes here but the electronic experimentations where sometimes a bit too much. Otherwise it’s an almost perfect record.

I needed two listens to fully understand that this record is actually not bad. Still not my favourite by Damon Albarn but definitely worth a close listen.

One of the most influential records. You can hear the proto electro sounds that shook up Detroit and Chicago and created a whole new genre.
Only one thing: Kraftwerk is meant to be heard in German!

This sounds so outdated. This is a real problem with the early techno and house music. The music developed so fast that almost none of the old songs are still fresh.
Back in the days Ornital were actually the next big thing.
