My first review on this website and i have to say i'm not disapointed at all !
Never been a pop fan in my life but this record is different. Amazing work !
Love how simple the drums are and how efficient they are.
Powerful beggining but maybe the end is even better, it goes crazy to crazier.
Running up that hill should be the ending song in my opinion.
This was fun and serious at the same time ... strange felling
Fav track : Jig Of Life
Beatles
4/5
Second review for me, I hope to find more records that I never heard about. Classics are cool but I want to explore a bit more in the music universe. Of course great album, and so the cover.
John was crazy. Paul high. Georges the only one serious. Ringo autistic. Classic Beatles shit.
Still not their best album for me (below white album and sergent peppers) but it stays as one of the best rock album ever produced.
Transition between golden slumbers and carry that weight is gold !
Fav song : Oh! Darling
Good song but definitely the worst in the album : Mean Mr Mustard
Cyndi Lauper
2/5
I really don't like this album but I have to admit that there was some surprises in there like Time After Time and Yeah Yeah. -Put a second singer in the chorus of Time After Time was a great idea but maybe it's a common thing in the 80's.
She gots a beautiful and powerful voice so I will give a chance to other albums in hopes I like at least one more song. I will try this record again later... but my opinion will surely be exactly the same as today.
Fav song : Time After Time
Worst song : She bop (I hope to never listen to this song again)
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
3/5
Really strange and disturbing but somehow really good. First time listening to a Nick Cave and the bad seeds album, I hope they don't always make music this creepy please.
I was afraid of listening to a boring voice for an hour. It turns out Nick Cave's voice almost becomes the most interesting element of the song to me.
The bass player Martin P. Casey was perfect the best instrument player of the band.
Strange way to tell stories but a beautiful one.
I'm really curious of what others strange records they made.
Fav song : The Curse of Millhaven
Worst song : Song of Joy
Electric Light Orchestra

It's really easy to understand how much Jeff Lynne love the Beatles and Bowie. Buuuuut it's not because you take ideas from the best commercial artists of all time that you can reach their level.
However it's fun, you can easily dance to My blue sky. Feel peace with the whale or Jungle. So much interesting music and ways to use new instrument. It feels like a Chicago album, for a space movie.
I'm feeling it, liking it but I will probably forget it in 2 weeks.
Fav : It's Over / Mr Blue Sky
Worst : Birmingham Blues
Metallica
4/5
I have split feelings about this album.
This was cool asf. Powerful voices, crazy solos as always, these guys are beast. It was epic. Even the crowd did the job great. It's a great idea with a lots of potential.
But sometimes I don't even hear the orchestra. It looks like the members of Metallica don't want to let the orchestra to play with them but for them.
Fav song : No Leaf Clover
Worst song : Bleeding Me
Mudhoney
4/5
Total chaos, loud distortion. These guys were having fun and I'm feeling it.
Not their best work but who cares.
The cover is perfect, I want to sail with big flaming turbo boat like hell YEAAAAH

Worst :

Technically good, beautiful voice, simple but effective instruments and rhythms — it's pretty decent for a first listen.
Not too long or too short, not experimental but occasionally tries to break out of certain clichés (even though they end up creating new ones). Like anyone with nothing to hide, it’s a bit too smooth. It feels like buying an IKEA table — it does the job, but that’s it. But maybe I’m only being critical because they pulled it off with this kind of music? I’m not sure. This could probably be said about many artists on this list.

At first i thought : 1H and 30 minutes of Bob Dylan ?
Please stop i'm not 60.
And i was a right, fuck that harmonica.
I was right until the ending with Ballad of a Thin Man and Like A rolling stone, (we can see how it influences hendrix). That ending was incredible.
So it's two incredible songs vs a boring live album, i'll be nice and give 2 stars
