скучно! кто писатель всех депрессивных хитов??
Could not finish it, some songs sounded interesting but just couldn’t understand the guy
Separating the music from the sad racist that made it isn't easy. Turns out I needn't have bothered, not as good as The Smiths.
Best Song: You're The One For Me, Fatty. The use of "fatty" here just really took me off guard. Worst Song: Certain People I Know. The whole song was outro. Overall: Starting to realize that all of Morrissey's music (solo and with The Smiths) sounds like the exact same flavour of melancholy. I thought it was kind of enchanting the first time I heard it, but now it's kind of lessened by my understanding that it's all he's able to do.
Meh
I've heard quite a bit of his music with The Smiths and on his own, and I like a couple of his songs but for the most part, his music just doesn't do much for me.
This was alright, some good tracks some shockers. Morrisey being a loser tips him down to 2 instead of the 3 ngl. 2.5/5
First part of this album was lame, soo soo lame, I knew he was a cunt but I didn't know he could make music so lame. The album does pick up toward the end, with some of that smiths magic recaptured in some nice ballads. But that doesn't make up for the truly awful openers. Two and a half. Fave track: I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday
What’s the difference between a Smiths record and a Morrissey record? Whether it’s any good or not. But yeah, seriously thought this was so dribbly and uninteresting compared to what I know and like from The Smiths. Obviously a solo career is a departure from the sounds of the original band, but just did not think any of this sounded particularly good. Fave track: The National Front Disco
I was down on this one as well (didn't like the Smiths album) but I didn't rate it straight away and, you know what, it's grown on me a bit. I'd say I still find the majority of the songs whiny, even though I reckon I agree with most of what he's whining about. The music itself sounds less whiny than The Smiths. Standout Track: You're Gonna Need Someone On Your Side
You're an arse.
arse
Ligma arsenal
don't care for it
This album wasn't terrible. Just lots of the same...
I really enjoy The Smiths and Morrissey was a large part of that (his personality being what it is, but let me just judge his music fro now). But as a solo artist he just doesn't hold up. Making his music rockier doesn't help, since his voice really does work best in a single, specific musical context - apparently the one created by the rest of The Smiths.
Should've hung the pen up welllllll before this morrissey you poor poor misunderstood prison of complexity
I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this album. I don't dislike it, it's definitely listenable, but I don't think it's for me. It sounds very English, like it has that sound where you can tell he listened to David Bowie growing up and wanted to make a more modern sounding kinda thing. None of the songs are bad like I really wouldn't mind listening to them again they just kinda don't hit for me at all.
Never really been interested in Morrissey but lets see! Not convinced maybe on some - not on all.
Like Duran Duran had a moody little brother. Not for me.
Robert Smith clears your ass Morrissey
too rocky for me, but respectable
Not my thing
Just can’t get into Moz.
2 or 3 great songs but very boring overall. I can't understand why this is a part of this challenge.
I like the music but his vocal style makes every song sound the same and brings down the energy of the music
Found it a bit of a whine fest. Not really interested in listening to again. Very meh 3/10
Sometimes this project requires significant personal mastery to get through an albums. I was barely able to hang on through We'll Let You Know. I don't like the vibe, I don't enjoy how he puts phrases together or his point of view, and I hate his voice. I recognize that this album is not completely without merit; it's better than some of the Smiths the list has had me suffer through. But it sure isn't for me.
I just don't get the mass appeal of Morrissey. It's not horrible, but it just sounds so generic to me. Also his voice just always sounds so unimpressed. Not really for me
Unintelligible lyrics layered on top of a mediocre band. This isn’t Bjork bad but it’s close.
Morrissey is an insufferable whiny penis of a man, with a dreadful Kermit vocal tone and a vocal range of precisely 3.25 notes. Different backing band, EXACT same shite.
What you get when you order a Smiths album on AliExpress...
Utterly boring except for the first song. I didn't like The Smiths and I don't really like Morrissey. It's not completely bad just not doing anything for me.
This record certainly has more enjoyable songs than Vauxhall, but it’s still just not for me. His voice is more bearable here though.
Hm, kind of The Smiths but shit and some more up-beat tracks at the start of the album. Also though I can't stop thinking about how he is a bit of a dickhead and a conspiracy spreader, antivaxxer kind of annoying bad person... Detracts from the listening experience which wasn't that great already.
Nja
heb er al veel betere nummers van gehoord
Foi bem menos irritante do que esperado, o vocal característico incomodou menos.
Couldn't bother finish
Preferred his work with The Smiths.
Noisy, Boring, Narcissistic. Pass
Your Arsenal is the third album by English singer Morrissey. This glam rock and Britpop album received critical acclaim - including a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album - for Morrissey's move from indie pop to a more muscular rock sound. It was fun listening to this album while doing some work, but I wouldn't necessarily listen to it again.
Had some alright songs but I just couldn’t get into it. It took me a few days to muster the nerve to get through this 39 minute album and I kept thinking ‘why is this album on this list of just listens where artists like The Carolina Chocolate Drops are not’
I can see why people love Morrissey. I didn't recognize many of these songs, but it had that traditional Morrissey sound.
Music obscured by his abhorrent views and unpleasant personality. A lot of it I actively disliked, some of it seemed OK, but mostly it just passed me by.
Another disappointing Arsenal performance
Not neccessarily bad, but none of the songs is doing anything for me. Morrissey is a bit full of himself, though, isn't he? 2/5
More Morrissey? When will the suffering end?
Post new wave indie music. Very British oriented, some political lyrics concerning issues of the Era. I'm not sure if it's still relevant or not. It was ok, I don't see myself listening to it again.
Another british pop punk guy *sigh*
When I started this, I was very much in the mind of "oh great, Morrisey". But the first song blew me away. Then it quickly degenerated into traditional moody whinging from the godfather of Emo.
Gotta say, I dont think I needed to listen to this before I never can again! I like the Smiths’ music, and I like a few Morrissey solo songs. This album is just fine, however. A couple of songs I really like, maybe less than half of them. The others have a mix of interesting lyrics that only Morrissey can write but are otherwise not very distinctive songs of his, in my opinion. I’ll totally give this another listen, but this doesn’t seem like it would make a GOAT list. The Wiki says this album was praised for its mix of rockabilly, glam, and rock, but I feel like that describes the Smiths already, so I’m unsure about what’s really new here. “I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday” is an undeniable beautiful tune, that is true! Beyond this, feeling uninspired!
Ik hoor deze man echt niet zo graag zingen. muzikaal is het wel oké, maar ook geen hoogvlieger
I have come to the conclusion that Morrissey is at his best when he sounds the least like Morrissey.
Woof. Some real hit or miss throughout this one.
Eh fatty
Ihan ok rokkia
Very British sounding, pop.
not for me
I really liked the Smiths' album from a few weeks ago, but I do not like this album. I don't have too much to say about it, but absolutely none of the songs worked for me.
Love The Smiths and earlier Morrissey but struggled to get into this album
2.8
"No M nyt vaan on viiden levyn arvoinen tapaus". Hohhoijaa. Jos kuuntelee vaikka Bowien ja Smithsin parhaat, niin mitä tämä enää tarjoaa?
its like his work with the smiths but more boring
One extra star for Mick Ronson's production. But as ever, Moz is whining on in an arch "poor me" style, and flirting with racism.
I was pleasantly surprised with the hard rock start, although the riffs are a bit tired, not up to Johnny Marr's standards. The lyrics are classic Morrissey, that is to say, whiny and a bit obvious, but I guess that's what the fans who followed him after the Smiths split wanted. Some critics cite a TRex/glam rock influence, as well as a rockabilly influence but I really can't hear it. Finally, I have to say I'm surprised that Morrissey has 3 albums on 1001.
There are a few artists that I respect because they’re good songwriters and lyricists but I hate their voice or their singing so I just can’t listen to them. This list includes Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Thom Yorke, and Morrissey. This guy is so whiney, he moans and complains on practically every song. He would not be fun at a dinner party.
Rätt bra, gillar hans andra plattor mer
Immediately I groaned when I saw Morrissey lol oopsie I've never been a fan of The Smiths apart from like two songs, and I've never really listened to his solo stuff. But I tried to keep an open mind!! Pros: - I didn't immediately hate it as much as I thought I would - I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday is kind of pretty?? - it's not that long an album Cons - Morrissey has SUCH A BLOODY WHINEY VOICE - I tuned out after about 3 songs - Listening to Morrissey banging on about how "London is dead" and "we're the last British people" brings out a little eyeroll from me every time
I didn't realise the descent of Morrissey into Dad-rock and questionable (to put it mildly) views started as far back as 1992. I liked it more when I thought of Mozza as a hilariously self-absorbed but ultimately harmless character. 2.5/5
Very poor compared to the excellent Vauxhall and I
He does not deserve even the 0.000001 cents that I gave to him when I listened to this album on Deezer. However, despite all the "personality" thing, this is a very nice album with some reminiscence of "The smiths" that made a good rock album.
The most rock of Morrissey's output. Glam and rockabilly echoes, with great band and production by Mick Ronson. But the songs are still Morrisey songs: three note, whinge-fests. I also find his current public persona so xenophobic and unpleasant that I really can't give him any time. Will not listen again.
Okay, I'm not going to line the elderly moronic racist's pocket by listening to one of his consistently mediocre solo efforts. However, when I was younger, I tried all of Morrissey's solo efforts including this and really tried to make myself like them, such was my love for the Smiths. As ever, there are a couple of tracks that give you hope he hadn't lost it - the T-Rex pastiche Certain People I Know, and We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful, which sounds like a Spitting Image parody of the Smiths. But weighing that up against the odious National Front Disco (I think he's lost any right to protest that it's observational or ironic) and the bland plodding pub rock backing of, well, pretty much the rest of the album, and you have an absolute stinker of an album with a couple of promising singles on it. I realise Morrissey is a keen Googler of his own name, so I will say that he desperately needs the other Smiths around him to make the music, and to tell him that he isn't actually as smart or edgy as he thinks he is - especially the ones he sued. If only that double decker bus had crashed into him shortly after the Queen Is Dead. He'd be almost universally loved.
This was decidedly okay for me. Decent background music for work.
Interesting lyrics, not very drawn in to the music.
he's a wanker.
Good music somewhat monotone voice in this album
ok but not a big smiths fan so
If you're a fan of misery pop and jingly jangly Smiths-style indie rock then go for it. Interesting to hear some of Morrissey's right-wing tendencies come tumbling out in the lyrics, very clumsily done.
Meh, the instrumentals don't feel too original and Morrissey is kind of annoying. Still, some interesting lyrics here and there.
Not enough here to keep me engaged.
Lyrics took away from alright instrumentals
Mess of genres that doesn't really work at all for me. Couple of decent songs.
Too much 'oouwuuuhh' wankery Sings like he's looking deep into his own eyes in the mirror
Didn’t really like this, too slow for me. Won’t re-listen, didn’t favourite any.
First listen, and it doesn’t seem very interesting to me. No “pop” to it. Second pass through, a little better, but nothing that grabs me. 2.5 is what I’d like to give
quite boring. but there was not something glaringly wrong about it so. i did like 'i know its gonna happen someday' just wish it didnt have some man talking throughout.
2.5? I really am trying to separate the music from what an asshat he is. But even then, the schtick was getting old towards the end.
ew moz
It was okay.
Das Album ist nicht gut genug für diese Liste, so sehr ich seine Musik mag...
Hab nur ein wenig reingehört und nicht wirklich Lust bekommen. Kann aber auch am müden Tag gelegen haben.
fuck me, morrissey has 13 solo albums. must be about 8 good songs between them. i've justified that i'm allowed to still listen to the smiths because he wasn't the grade A cunt he is now then, he was more Grade C, a solid cunt but not quite fame hungry facist levels. i don't know where i sit with his solo stuff - it helps that its pretty average at best. 'i know its gonna happen someday' rescued this album from the ignomy of the 1 star bin.
Sounds like an album Louis would enjoy
Dreary
Really wasn't feeling this one. I heard a song I liked and I looked over and the album had ended and it was on autoplay...
Fairly generic rock album. Nothing stand out for me
We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful" Released: 27 April 1992 "You're the One for Me, Fatty" Released: 6 July 1992 "Tomorrow" Released: September 1992 "Certain People I Know" Released: 7 December 1992 "Glamorous Glue" Released: 18 April 2011
Eléctrico. Muy para fans de Morrissey
Not my style
Meh
God Morrissey’s solo albums are so bland. 5/10
Didn't love it
meh
Don't really like morrissey or the smiths but thought it was ok
It was kind of a big meh for me. Not all out unlistenable but definitely not going to return to this one.
Don't like his droney voice. Album was ok. Morrissey is a cunt
I had low expectations. They were met.
First listen
There’s something about solo Morrissey that I just hate. It’s kinda boring, his voice doesn’t have a lot of range. Also, as a person he sucks.
Nope. Zero stars for the racist.
🗑️
Oh cool, more Morrissey! Glad he's represented on this list! I hope there's a Smiths record, too!
Horrible racist moaning, a useful reminder of how pathetic being small minded can be 🤮
It was a choice between lying and giving this album a 1 star or being honest and not listening to it. I can’t write any comments by not listening to it though so it’s getting a single star so I can say that I’ll never listen to this racist little shit.
Miserable moaning vaguely racist.
I hate!
album #46 what fresh hell am i living in that morrissey is on this list. fuck you. (in all seriousness, this album is dull as dishwater. the instrumentals are repetitive and his voice combined makes the experience disgustingly jarring. Morrissey is making a desperate attempt to distance himself from the smiths, and appear cool and/or relevant. he fails magnificently on all fronts.) ꩜ average track rating: 0.9/5 ꩜ favourite track(s): none lol. shove ya pretentious drivel up yer arse. ꩜ least favourite track(s): we'll let you know, you're the one for me fatty ꩜ album rating: ⯪☆☆☆☆ ꩜ number of albums left to review: 1,043 ꩜ number of albums from the list that i agree with being on the list: 27 ꩜ albums from the list that I would consider on my list: 10 ꩜ albums from the list I won't include on my list: 36
Ewww
Meh
Fuck Morrissey
No. Just no.
how am i like 50 albums into this list yet this is the THIRD morrissey album i'm being served. no more. i refuse
Skipped because Morrissey has turned out to be a terrible person and I refuse to give him any money.
Nationalist boomer bullshit
Ungegoogled ne 3-4. Gegoogelt bleibt nur noch einer übrig. Musikalisch holt mich das abwe wusste bisher nicht WAS für ein Arschloch das ist.
horrible voice with boring instrumentalisation and boring lyrics
I wish I could insert a video here because I'd use the one of the old woman saying "you're joking? Not another one?!" I will say I did enjoy the instrumentals of the rockier songs. But jesus christ what is with his pretentious lyrics! "You're the one for me fatty" - ???? This guy is so far up his own arse its unbelievable 1 ⭐️
The singing John Major.
Urgh! I had my first solo album from Morrissey yesterday and it became quickly apparent that the talent lay elsewhere and not with Morrissey himself. This is the second (of 4!) of his solo albums. They just aren’t good enough. I’ve started to wondered as well how much his music travels. I’m Scottish and can never remember hearing Morrissey until I moved to England and, granted, there is a live/hate thing about him here, but he doesn’t get a look in elsewhere. It’s like the musical equivalent of Monty Python.
Fuck Morrissey.
boring
EU VOU DEDICAR MINHA EXISTÊNCIA A ODIAR ESSE SUJEITO
Shame he's a cunt.
Did he get a motorcycle or something? What’s with the scumbag riffs? Guys trash without the Smiths.
Well, it started out okay, but there are some pretty silly songs on this. Have never been a fan, and this didn't change that.
With songs like ‘National Front Disco’ it was always pretty bloody obvious where Morrissey stood on the political spectrum. Hard nope from me.
How has this cunt got yet another album in here?
🥱
Mixed. It was Morrissey. It was okay.
Boring.
I really hate Morrissey
Can't do Morrissey
i used to say only the first two solo albums were good but i was wrong.
You know what's going to happen here. I'm going to call Morrissey a twat, likely more than once, because no more appropriate label applies. Then I'm going to find the tunes half-decent, which they are. Then I'm going to dock the album two starts for the Morrissey Twat Factor. Which will leave a one-star rating. So... The tunes are quite decent as it goes. It's not the same without Johnny Marr of course, what would be? The man is a legend and a saint for putting up with him for so long. The singer has a good voice, he always has, but he is, and let's not beat around the bush here, a twat. For so, so, SO many reasons. Three stars for the songs, minus the Morrissey Twat Factor, which we've established is a minimum two stars. Which leaves... yes, one star. Morrissey, you're a twat. You always have been and you always will be. If I ever met you, I'd make sure to have a burger in my hand. Morrissey. Putting the You Arse into Your Arsenal. #MorrisseyIsATwat
This guy can eat shit.
It's a shame what he's become in his later years. I just saw some footage of Johnny Marr doing a full set of songs from The Smiths, and I'd rather support that than this. Moz's signature vocal now conjures up racist commentary and defense of predators. Given the content of this record, I have to believe what we hear from him now is a change and that he wasn't this person we see before us back then. Either way, it's a real bummer.
Not even bothering. The countless Smiths/Morrrissey albums on this list taught me I can’t stand this…. bloke.
Racist C**T I just read the same review as mine without the Astrix Zero
Argh, Jimmy Carr set out to destroy comedy, and his long lost brother set out to destroy music.
Morrissey and the Smiths separate or together can bring down a baby shower or a Bar Mitzva.
79/1089 terrorised by morrissey once again…this was better than Viva Hate at least but still not my thing at all really. His attitude and vocals grate on me Seasick, yet Still Docked and Tomorrow were alright
This was a surprisingly okay album, but I hate that moaner Morrissey intensely.
My time on this earth is finite. Therefore, I will not listen to any more Morrissey.
GODDAMNIT GODDAMNIT GODDAMNIT GODDAMNIT GODDAMNIT
Honestly, it's not too bad. It just that I don't particularly care for the discount David Bowie sounds, or the repetitive hooks that nearly put me to sleep. Any other person probably would've gotten a two, but racists get 1s.
um idk why people like this man his music is lame to me lmfao
Can't be arsed listening to this to be honest
This guy sucks there's not two ways around it
Didn’t like Morrissey growing up, and still don’t. I gave the album a fair chance on the morning walk, and I just was unimpressed. Still can’t stand listening to him at all.
The Smiths were cool, this idiot is not. Meh music by a meh artist.
Not that good IMHO!
Ive had enough of this prick. This is the first time in 600 albums im not even going to attempt this, i can use my time in better ways. I dont like him, his whiny voice or his miserable lyrics.
Stopped listening when Morrissey became overtly Nationalistic
Why is this insufferable buffoon on this list so much? Is this a goof? Somehow 90s Morrissey is no better than 80s Morrissey.
Meh
I am not a fan of Morrissey’s voice at all and that’s ignoring that he’s a POS outside of that. The music itself is ok, though.
Weak.
Nah. No thank you. Another example of an individual’s actions overshadowing their art.
Oh hey, we're back to the "entirely screw this dick" mines
No. Instead of listening to this, I caught up with Wild Is The Wind, which is massively better. I suppose I have to give this one star or my comments won't show.
Okay, Morrissey's a miserable racist shitbag, but I'll give this album a fair chance. 40 minutes later: Yeah, he's still a miserable racist shitbag. With bonus fatshaming in there too!
i cant get past you’re the one for me fatty
I don't like The Smiths, and I like Morrissey even less. He's a totally ambivalent personality—animal rights yes, nationalism yes, etc. But what's much more important to me is that his voice always kind of got on my nerves. It's no different here on "Your Arsenal." And he can forget about his bare-bellied nonsense, not to mention the microphone between his legs. That should really get at least five stars off, but he doesn't get one, except for the obligatory one. Get rid of that shit.
I refuse to give any royalties to this Asshat
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
1001 has been better at making me go from tolerate to hate some artists rather than introducing new artists. It's not horribly bad as far as songs and music but his voice is like eating cardboard. monotone, bland and manages to make a song sound way more boring than without his vocals. After a couple of albums I started to hate the cadences in his voice.
I have a very hard time believing anything Morrissey does post-Smiths comes anywhere near the vicinity of the word "essential". The prominent use of distorted guitar comes off like a desperate grasp at machismo. The final lines of "We'll Let You Know" ("We're the last British people you will ever know") are kinda xenophobic. There were one or two songs towards the end of the album the harkened back to The Smiths' sound, but not enough to impress. Fuck Morrissey.
Fuck Morrissey. But also this album wasn't good.
Terrible.
Far right bigot.
Who would have thought that such a misanthrope would end up being such a whiny, miserable bigot? I was never a big fan of The Smiths, but they had their moments. This, however, is the musical equivalent of the opinionated pub bore who has just been dumped and won't shut up about how it's anyone else's fault but their own. Sad, but not in the good way.
I never allowed myself to listen to this garbage and I'm glad I didn't.
I’ve heard Morrissey is a prick, but I wanted to give this a fair shake. I shouldn’t have - it sucks. This album no is terrible, the songs are bland and not notable at all. This is not a must listen and does not belong on this list.
Enough
If I could give it a zero I would. This could be the best, most beautiful music ever recorded. As always, fuck Morrissey.
Once again I question the rationale for including this in a must-listen list. He has no vocal range. The vocals are flat and monotone. The melodies are simplistic. The guitar strum on one song sounded like it came out of a beginner chord book and it never changed throughout the entire song. Is this some middle school music project?
Not a fan.
Where do you start with Morrissey.. the bin I find is the best place.
Repetitive. Loud. No thank you.
He can turn a lyric, old Stephen. He can do a melody too. But maybe it’s his attitudes. Should you judge art through the attitude of the artist? The gobshite’s gobshite? Or a genius whose truths are too high for muck like me? In any case this is a poor album from a guy who’s done much better. Vauxhall and I is the album. This is pap Or both? I’m not a fan, but I can’t deny the influence.
Not sure why this is on the list.
Just not a fan. I'm getting a neutered Velvet Underground vibe mixed with some Elvis fandom. Maybe some sex appeal for those interested, but it's all miserable and pretentious to me.
The man is a turd and makes my skin crawl.
I'm done. I got to "We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful." I don't know how anyone can listen to this dreck because Morrissey is the epitome of that kid in high school who thinks he's deep and empathetic but he's really just an asshole. Anyways, 0 stars, as with anything attached to Morrissey.
Im not gonna give Morrissey any clicks.
Well, I listened to it. Against my better judgment, I didn’t think it was steaming pile of misery wank. Some of it was quite passable. But Morrissey is an insufferable weirdo blert.
Hated it
80s x crooner = ugh
Not my cup of tea. I’ll try it again at a later time.
I have heard plenty of versions of this that it didn't interest me.
i was so indifferent to this and i am like king of the sad boi vibes could i write poetry to this? n
Shut the fuck up Morrissey
Shitty music by a pretentious racist prick. Straight garbage music. Zero stars if that was an option.
Not my style, but if it was the only thing, I force myself to try to listen.
Well, at least it's not just with The Smiths where Morrissey sings like a dying whale in front of a good band. Pretty puzzling to see people continuing to defend him in the reviews of his "Hey, I'm a racist piece of shit that also sucks at singing" album
At first I was thinking that this album wasn't nearly as bad as I expected, but then "We hate it when our friends became successful" came on: the lyrics, the voice, everything are so "poor me". I might give it 2 stars, but I'm rating it in the context of being in the top 1001 albums and it is definitely in the lowest quintile.
Bad sixth form poetry nonsense.
Nicht meine Richtung
Ummm. He’s an icon, but all I can take is about three songs. Too precious for me!
I hate Morrissey - he's a pretentious twat.
Every song sounds basically the same form of dull monotonous crap from a complete wanker of a human. Never liked The Smiths or his style, this isn't for me at all.
An entire album of the Morrissey sound.
Just loathe Morrissey
This guy does not deserve this many solo albums on this list. The smiths sure they’re not too bad but morrissey himself sucks. I recently watched the movie The Killer and in it the main character listens to the smiths and also kills people. Is it related? Most likely. Morrissey sucks and anyone that listens to him may be on the edge. This was at least better than the one where he just shits on everything for 40 minutes. 2.5/10
Boring. Didn't finish the album.
Heard of him, but not familiar with his music. Wasn't able to get through it, though, because I hear he's decided to be a horrible human. I'm on a 1001 album journey. There's no need for me to waste time on someone who I know is terrible. Nobody's perfect, but there's so many more albums! Moving on...
Hated it. Absolutely hated it
I was a little too late and a little too I to metal for Morrissey. Hearing this now, I would have been I to it for sure. This is legit a great record. Some dull spots here and there. (we'll let you know, certain people I know.) It would be a 4 for me. But fuck Morrissey. I totally get the shame fans feel as I have it too with Marilyn Manson. Why do these guys have to be such wankers? One star because of the man.
On the one hand, Morrissey spoke out for sensitive introverts with songs such as "Big Mouth Strikes Again," "Ask," and "How Soon Is Now?" But then he has to go and spoil it all with "You're the One for Me, Fatty," and being a big racist bellend.
Fck mrrssy
Wird im Verlauf immer unerträglicher.
😞
Nope sorry. Fuck Morrissey.
No.
nein!
At first I thought that this might be the album that finally clicked with me and Morrissey. It started out with some bangers that didn't feel like typical Morrissey. If this album ended after 2/3 of the way through, I would have given this at least 3 stars. But, in typical Morrissey fashion, he ruined it with his crooning in the final stretch. Alas, this is why I don't like his music.
Morrissey is a dicksplash. This is, at least, a slight diversion from the dull-as-ditchwater stuff he's spewed out on other albums. However, he's still whiney, and he's still a dicksplash.
Meh
Pass
fuck morrissey
Not really into this

No, not listening to this. I have better things to do. Clean the toilet for example.
Nope. He can't sing, and is a Nazi, and isn't a good lyricist, and is a Nazi, and writes terrible music, and is a Nazi, and really puts the "pretentious" in "pretentious wanker", and also, and I can't stress this enough, is a Nazi. 0 🌟
This guy is fucking trash.
fuck morrissey
this album would get 4 or 5 stars if morrissey wasn’t a racist wanker
I could never stand Morrissey’s whiny voice, and this album is no exception. If anything, it has that extra “oh it’s so boring” factor to it.
I went into this fucking hating Morrissey. i listened to it...still fucking hate Morrissey
INSERT NOOSE HERE
A very weird choice. All feelings about this hideous man aside, he's released some great albums with and without The Smiths. Viva Hate; Vauxhall and I; You Are The Quarry - all really good and would be understandable inclusions on this list Your Arsenal isn't one of them
Morrissey is a bad person.
morrissey
Sorry can’t listen to this. Morrissey was never as good solo as he was with Marr, and his racism has spoilt him for me.
* I still hate morrissey
Pretty solid production and signs, I just hate Morrissey
shite
Ffs a 3rd morrisey album?
Not a fan - boring, feel like i'm in the epitome of the 90's I don't like
Not my favorite. The music was depressing and I felt like I was psychiatric evaluation while listening. 0RS
Madre mía, Morrissey, menudo rollo de disco.
