Liam Gallagher is one of popular musics absolute worst singers. Wonderwall sounds like a South Park character doing a Kurt cobain impression. His voice is devoid of any personality or dynamics. Thank god he at least sorta sings in key

ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME!!!! Mostly covers. Lots of classic songwriting. The recording is rough and the performances are rock and roll as fuck. So much so that they inadvertently foreshadow the arrival of punk rock about a decade later... Also, the singer is a like a lil' Little Richard.
🤢
One of the most important albums of modern music. It’s hard to be honest without sounding pompous, but this music is unlikely to amaze today’s listeners, myself included (b. 1994). Yet the sparse, electro beats and outdated drum machines paved the way for hip hop to explode into the mainstream just a few years later. Amazing how the style evolved so quickly.

I’ve already this album, it’s one of my favorites
Bono makes me cringe and the music is boring
classic soul
Fun album.
I’ve already heard this. Love this album.
Overproduced pop and bad singing
Bold and catchy. Love the guitars and the vocals. Good songwriting.
This is okay
Classic
Soulful and pretty, but at times a little boring.
This band sounded oddly familiar and then "come on eileen" came on, which I don't think I've ever known the name of. I loved this album. Very energetic and full of personality. Catchy and danceable, too.
Smooth
Classic. Great verses. Dramatic instrumentals with live instruments and unique influences
Amazing singer was songwriting is just okay
Another solid pixies album
Corny as hell. Good singing tho
Classic. A bit long for my tastes and I prefer his first two in this “trilogy”
Classic soul. Highly influential, too
Cool psych rock. Some songs in the second half really caught my ear with the experimental yet pleasing sounds. Will certainly listen to again.
A fun record, but a bit dated I suppose. Having been born in 1994, it gives me a weird sense of nostalgia. I heard the few two songs a lot as a kid. Advances in sampling techniques and digital production mean that, today, this album sounds a bit rigid. It doesn’t help that the songs are so long. It’s a slow burn.
Bowie is one of the greatest of all time!
I love the smiths and I like Morrissey but I think this effort is mediocre, relatively speaking. More of the same, but less memorable and a bit bland
Not bad. Some jangly, riff driven guitar, nice vocal melodies, and grand, cinematic instrumentals. Second half stood out to me. Unfortunately just a little forgettable. Worth revisiting to see if it grows on me
I don’t think I’m a big fan of breakbeat albums

Fun glam rock
Didn’t care for most of this. Every Breath You Take is great and there are a couple other good tracks.
I've never been crazy about Megadeath, but I do enjoy this album. The musicianship is off the charts. A total classic.
Im tired right now so it’s hard to write this. But this album is pretty, well, psychedelic. No guitars and lots of weird synths. I like the vocal melodies too. Things can drag on, but it’s not a huge deal.
I haven’t listened to a lot of salsa. This was funkier and more lavish than I expected. I thought maybe it’d sound more rootsy. Enjoyable throughout
almost every song is incredibly boring. typically just consist of some short loop and minimal vocal contributions. it's honestly very underwhelming. the lyrical content is also not as powerful as other artists with similar themes
Corny
Joplin is a great singer but this album is forgettable
Finally, some good fucking r&b. This thing is soulful and catchy, but it’s also weird as hell at times, in a bold and clever way. I like the weird synth instruments. They really help push this album from ordinary to extraordinary.
Liam Gallagher is one of popular musics absolute worst singers. Wonderwall sounds like a South Park character doing a Kurt cobain impression. His voice is devoid of any personality or dynamics. Thank god he at least sorta sings in key
This wasn’t bad. The first song is a highlight but also establishes a formula of soft, piano driven verses followed by blown-out choruses. It’s very 2010s-ish. A million years ago and all I ask are refreshing, with their colorful chords and vocal melodies
this is awesome. i had never heard of this until now. the singer absolutely kills it and has plenty of spunk and personality. she reminds of sugarcubes-era bjork or the lead singer from sleater-kinney. the music reminds me of parallel lines by Blondie or of a Madness record. This stuff is fun, dancey, and quirky.
mostly okay brit pop, some nicely arranged and layered songs, particularly the folky-sounding ones
Hell yeah!
Very laid back, expertly-performed reggae. None of the jam sessions are too long, and it seems like every instrument gets a chance to shine with some lead parts. Love the basslines. Occasionally things get so mellow that the music seems to fade into the background. Still, great stuff.
Always thought it was odd that Leonard Cohen went in this electro, synth-based direction, but this album is executed phenomenally. Cohen’s baritone voice is full and rich. He’s even more of the drab, monotone singer he started as, but somehow he’s taken that approach far beyond what I thought would be possible. Excellent.
🤢
at the risk of just sounding like a contrarian, i'm not crazy about this album. i find it pleasant and i realize it's responsible for catapulting dylan to international fame, but the rootsy folk and dylan's strange vocals are boring and fail to amaze me.
Top tier musicianship and some badass blues rock. This is when the allman brothers had a bit more soul and attitude, I think. The songs can drag on a bit, with only 7 tracks in 80 minutes, but it's a live album, so it's not too surprising.
I don't know a lot about metal, but I'll try my best. First of all, this sounds kind of lo-fi. Also, everything feels very compressed. The vocalist reminds me of megadeath or metallica. The guitar seems more classic rock oriented, but it's definitely similar to those aforementioned bands, too. I guess this album isn't considered black metal. I wonder if this album had any influence on the genre that would emerge some 10-odd years later? Maybe just the lo-fi part. I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's pretty cool but also very muddy and I think there are other better introductions to the genre(s) of heavy metal
Wow, I friggin love this. I'm familiar with massive attack by way of mezzanine and blue lines, and it's been at least 5 years since those were in my rotation, and I don't remember liking them as much as I like this right now. Every song is a fucking jam and beautifully recorded.

Cool album. Incredibly short, so it’s hard to get into the songs.
Elvis is a fantastic singer. This album feels like a mixed bag, though. Some of the songs are pretty great but others just feel like dated tween pop.
Ick
Boring
Mid
Mostly boring
literally my favorite album ever. where do i even begin?
opening two tracks are amazing. the rest is okay
Why
Awful singing, stupid lyrics, generic pop punk riffs. What’s not to dislike?
On this seminal drum and bass album, Goldie sincerely tries to elevate the genre to new heights. Unfortunately, it's still nearly 2 hours of drum and bass
Shit singing. Boring songs.
musically it's not that bad, but god damn it is cringe. I don't think it's supposed to be taken that serious. At least I hope it isn't.
A lot of the beats are very stripped down and dated. It hits its stride here and there, but I think what really ruins this for me is when the vocalist(s) sing along with these crude, dated synth melodies. It's absolutely unmusical. I friggin hate it.
It's long, a little tedious, perhaps boring at times. But I think the reviews here are overly negative. A lot of these tracks make great use of space and texture, and the grooves are tight. Check out "Duke of Earlsfield" to hear what I mean. There aren't many gimmicks here. Just stripped down electronic beats.
The epitome of backpack rap
Possibly the best solo album by a beatle
4 stars just cause the second track is so fuckin bangin
The final album of what I think of as Tom Waits' transitory phase. Long gone are the clean, jazzy ballads of Closing Time and The Heart of Saturday Night. Instead we have Waits' bluesy riffage and guttural delivery of abstract poetry. There's a lot of experimentation here, in fact. After this album, Waits' would co-write the soundtrack to the Francis Ford Coppola movie One From the Heart. During this time he met his future wife, Kathleen Brennan, who encouraged Waits to pursue his vision of a more experimental and eclectic sound, leading a slew of classics including Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs, and Bone Machine.
This is fine. It's a late career album from an artist far from their prime. I would say Springsteen has at least 5 albums better than this. Again, it's not bad, but probably not deserving of a list like this.
There are some lovely songs on here, and a fair amount of variety. It's quite long, though. Nothing jumped out to me as "bad" so I would say overall this was alright.
