Magical from start to finish
When you put this album on, it's raining, even if it's not.
the delight i felt when this came up as my album for today! god fuck i love this album so much. so sonically rich, beautiful and thought out, so stylishly dark and moody, sets very few feet wrong in my eyes. just a gorgeous listening experience every single time
Beautiful album, a pinnacle.
One of the best Cure albums, it’s atmospheric, it sets the mood and runs with it, it’s beautiful. Pictures Of You is so so so so good. 5.0/5.0 Best Song: Pictures Of You
Massive Riffs, massive emotions, its such a good album the first 5 songs are just bang bang bang bang bang. A phenomenal band, and this is their best album. Best Track: Pictures of you
Absolutely one of the best albums on this list, best album by the Cure, one of the best albums ever. Fight me! There's not a bad 9 seconds on this recording. It's a total vibe. Even the more upbeat songs fit in as intended. Even sad people fall in love, often unrequited, but sometimes.. requited, I guess. ** This is one of those albums that is about 4 times better if you listen to it through headphones. Fairly loudly. Robert Smith's voice isn't for everyone, I get it. But it couldn't be better for the songs he writes. It fits! The breathless whispers, the heavy breathing parts, the angst and the longing he can bring are astounding. "Lullaby" is one of my favorite creepy songs ever. Every lyric here is grabby, but I especially love "I feel like I'm being eaten By a thousand million shivering furry holes" EEeeEEE! Love Love Love this album!! 5 out 5
Classic album, so many fantastic songs. Pictures of you, Lovesong, Plainsong, and Disintegration.
"Plainsong" alone is worth the album. They never quite achieved this again - the lenghty gothic doomscapes intersped with killer singles.
This album has made me rethink what Goth Rock sounds like. Sure it's moody, but it's so pretty too.
I know this band, the album was alright
Listens: 3 Standout Tracks: Lovesong, Lullaby, Prayers For Rain I enjoyed this much more than Seventeen Seconds. Interesting melodies and powerful vocals. I can definitely hear the hallucinogenic influences. This album sounds awesome at full blast with good headphones on. Edit: Retroactively bumping this up to a 5. The entire album has entered into my rotate these last four or so months since hearing it.
It's a perfect dream sludge and I mean that with love.
Promised “cure” but still sick? Please advise. P.S. Loved the wind chimes.
Time to get sad ( • ̀ω•́ )✧
I already know I love this album
Just a joy. Beautiful, joyful, melancholic. Great atmospheres. Always amazed too at how long the Cure can run a song before the lyrics come in. Not a weak song on it despite most of them running for over 5 minutes.
this is just a masterpiece
This is tremendous. The atmosphere it creates is glorious, the songs are brilliant. I've listened a bunch of times of the years and I really enjoy it, but as well as that I always leave it with the confidence that I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it even more the next time I listen to it.
This album set it stall out early. It is going to be melancholic, grand and have a synth 80s feel. I love all of this. I have to admit I am a The Cure fan and this has one of my all time favourite The Cure songs on it Lullaby. It has the perfect mix of sexy and creepy that puts me on edge. It is a fantastic song. The overall feeling from this album is a wistful longing for things that have past. It will be going onto my heavy rotation. (4.850)
Lovestory & Friday I’m in Love are so romantically goth. Positive despite the cold. Masterful goth!
10/10 ⭐️pictures of you
Bleak, excellent
one of the more memorable "music can do THAT??" records of my life. the cure's big idea to balm robert smith's anxiety that he's getting old and selling out was not to jettison their newfound pop muscle, but to melt it into glacial majesty. most of the songs take forever to "get going", and when they do theyre in no hurry to pummel or surprise you...and smith himself is swallowed up almost entirely by the vast soundscapes, he barely feels like the protagonist. and after all that seeming obfuscation, its still its own kind of great populist masterpiece...its just truly impossible not to pay attention to. plenty of space for the listener , yet all the musical information is so clear and impactful and impossible to miss because it doesn't rush past you. i havent revisited this in a long loooong time but i almost didnt have to...i see echos of it in just about every era of my taste, and i feel like im always tryna find stuff that hits at least Part of the ways in which this pleases my autism by completely filling my ears without overwhelming or disorienting. still, was very powerful to be reminded of how Uniquely Good it is at all of this. i usually listen to my daily album out on my walk but this had to be a lay in bed listen...whenever i finally have my the cure discog period the world will reset
✅️
What an absolutely amazing album this is. Where has this album been hiding in my life. 54 years old and only just discovering The Cure.
love it. This whole album feels like a series of memories that haunts you and despite trying to move on, you simply cant.
OUTSTANDING. No skips.
I love The Cure
My favorite album by the Cure. This should be everyone's favorite Cure album. Many of these songs could (and were) trimmed down to a "singles version" where the instrumentation is removed and the focus is more of the verse-chorus-verse but where is the fun in that. Plainsong is better with the 2 and a half minute synth opening. Listening to Disintegration again reminds me the Cure's latest album shares a lot of characteristics with this one. As a later in life Cure fan, there are songs on here that a greatest hits collection would just miss. If you like dreary goth rock with a slight pop-ish feel at times, then the Cure is the cure for your wants. Great album and I haven't used the word a lot here (because I find it is overused) but probably a masterpiece.
It blew them up so big. Lots of great songs here.
There are so many great songs on this album; Fascination Street stood out to me as an underrated classic, and it's clear The Cure isn't shy from letting the music carry you through as much as 2 minutes of a song before Robert Smith's yearning voice breaks through. Each song feels both unique and cohesive in a fabulous way. The album is presented and released calmly, with the intro and outro tracks, and overall, this is very well done. Incredibly, these guys have been doing this since the 1970s. Smith's voice is filled with pain and yearning, and it is emotion that drives this. Although maybe it wasn't pain, but the fact that he relapsed on LSD during the album's production.
Loved the album, Nate it’s not punk rock get your facts straight
Not going to talk too much about this classic itself, as everyone else has covered the dark vocals, the synth, and that bass. But I often take long runs while listening to albums, and hit a new personal best today while listening to Disintegration. The tracks completely absorbed me to the extend that I didn't notice the pain and wanted to keep running to finish the album right away even though I had hit my targeted distance. Hard to put into words, but everything worked for me. This gets my (rare) second 5 star rating, and I will absolutely listen to this again. Also intend to listen to more by The Cure.
The pinnacle soundrack for the emo adolescent. It has all the feels, and is just poppy enough to be widely appealing. When I was just a young boy, I hated this because my teenage older brother and sister loved it. Turns out I just hated my siblings, but when I became a teenager, I got it. Now I love this album, and I even like my siblings.
Very good. The opening track will make you transcend.
The length had me scared that this was going be awful. I just can't do long albums, and this is 72 min. It's far from awful; while some songs are too long, the album creates an atmosphere that is excellently crafted and engrossing. It feels rich and darkly theatrical, exactly as you'd expect from a goth rock album. It's essentially a darker, more atmospheric cousin of the new wave albums that permeate this list, and is better than all of them.
Another great Cure album. Great production and songwriting. Really enjoyed the extended intros to all the songs. Will definitely come back to this one. Pictures of you was probably my favourite
10/10 one of the greatest albums ever made
I woke up on a terrible hair day. That explains why The Cure showed up here. Lovesong is probably the best Goth Rock song of all time.
I've been meaning to listen to this for awhile. And yeah it was absolutely everything I wanted it to be 5*
Disintegration is a cavernous soundscape of gothic grandeur yet, in some ways, disarmingly simple. It's The Cure stretching their indelible sound skyward. Probably a touch too long but I don't care—it’s one of the greatest alternative records of all time.
There truly is no other album like this one. Everything is just so thoughtfully and beautifully constructed; the synth tones, guitar melodies and counterpoints, and plodding bass all layer together to form a deep, inky mist. A murky snare pokes through the miasma constantly and steadily. The spirit apparition that is Robert Smith’s voice entice the listener to step into this foggy world where everything is gloriously dark and effulgently tragic. It is an enigmatic and inimitable blend of dream pop, post punk, new wave, and goth. I think it’s the Cure’s greatest work and one of the greatest to come out of the 80s.
listened to this album on repeat while studying for my finals and i was so focused on the songs i started writing the lyrics instead of my notes. anyway five stars obviously
😍😍😍
Fejlfrit album, wow
I’ve been patiently waiting for this album to pop up for me, and honestly, I’m kind of glad that I’m still getting albums I’m excited for this late into the project. I came into this project knowing a fair number of songs by The Cure, but I didn’t know any of the songs off of Pornography or Seventeen Seconds (four and three-star ratings from me, respectively). However, I’m familiar with a few songs on this album, and I think they’re all great, so I fully expect to really love this album. I really enjoyed Disintegration, and of the albums I’ve listened to by The Cure over the course of this project, this has easily been my favorite one. I love the dark mood and atmosphere that permeate this album, and it really feels like a cinematic experience to listen to it from start to finish. I love listening to keyboards, and The Cure composed some fantastic keyboard playing on this album. The lead and bass guitar playing were fantastic too, and I loved how those two elements worked in such perfect harmony to craft this album’s sound. As I went through this album, I just typed out my reactions, which I have listed below: I love the way the album starts off with “Plainsong.” The synths and bass are in perfect harmony, creating a really beautiful sound. The segue into “Pictures of You” is absolutely perfect. The guitar and bass blend together perfectly, and the keyboards are fantastic too. It’s so dreamy. I love the guitar riff at the end of the chorus. It’s somehow bright and dark at the same time. I can’t believe this song is over seven minutes long. It goes by so quickly. The outro is incredible too. Love that opening drumming on “Closedown,” and those keyboards are fantastic too. I love how each song so far feels so connected to the whole album, but it evolves as it goes along. Brilliant stuff. I used to get so disappointed when I heard “Lovesong” when I was a teenager, because I wanted to hear “Just Like Heaven,” but now, I almost like “Lovesong” more. The keyboards are absolutely fantastic on this song, and Smith is at his peak when it comes to his vocals. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that this is some of the best keyboard playing of the entire decade. The lead and bass guitars are incredible too. The mood here is so dense, you could cut it with a knife, and I love it. “Last Dance” is great too. The keyboards are fantastic so far on this album, but the guitar and bass round out each song perfectly. The verse on “Lullaby” has always made me feel so uneasy, but I love how the chorus is so peaceful and beautiful. This isn’t a song that I particularly like, but it’s effective, and the keyboard and guitar playing are once again exceptional. I like how “Fascination Street” picks up right where “Lullaby” leaves off, in terms of its mood and sounds. The guitars are fantastic on this song, but there’s some really subtle but excellent keyboard work here too. The keyboards on “Prayers for Rain” are fantastic. I’m constantly amazed that these songs are so long, but none of them feel as long as their actual runtimes. The same goes for “The Same Deep Water as You.” I really love the guitar playing on “Disintegration.” The longer this album goes on, the more I’m amazed at how each song is so unique, but the album is incredibly cohesive. And it’s not just keyboards or guitars driving the overall sound, they’re both working in harmony to create this beautiful album. Back to “Disintegration” though, I love the drumming on this song too. It’s repetitive, but it fills in its place in the overall sound so well, and it’s incredibly hypnotic. I really like this stripped-down sound of “Homesick.” The piano playing is great, and as much as I love the keyboards on this album, this shift is really nice. I like how “Untitled” is more uplifting and lighter in its sound, taking the album back to how it started with something not as gloomy. Disintegration is a fantastic album from start to finish. I was really worried that I’d get bored with this album due to its runtime, but I was really engaged with it the entire time I listened to it. This is easily one of the best albums from the late eighties that I’ve reviewed, and I understand why it’s so beloved.
Brilliant and beautiful
I love this album
The atmosphere in this album is masterful. And Pictures of You has this Bowie-esque quality that’s also in Heros that I classically love so much. The first 10 seconds aren’t hooks, but they establish the tone of the song so well that I want to stay and listen to the whole thing as soon as it’s started. There’s such a strong orchestral feeling to the whole album to the point where I think I’m recognizing motifs from other songs in the instrumental sections. And there are a lot of long instrumental sections.
Foreward: Aside from knowing the hit singles, I only heard Pornography from The Cure, earlier on in this challenge like two or three months ago. Excited to check out what Kyle Brolofski would call, "the greatest album ever". I would prefer Pornography over Disintegration but I like hearing more of that same sound than the mid 80s poppy The Cure. My only complaint is that Lovesong is kind of boring thanks to overexposure (probably helped by being one of the few pop-sounding songs for radio on the album). Solid band, terrific albums.
The first minute 😩
Duh, its a classic. Would highly recommend yearning to this album lying down in bed with your eyes closed. Plainsong one of the top ten album openers of all time imo
I know and love this album as The Cure is one of my all time favorite bands! Their music touches my soul and Robert Smith is a god.
A perfect combination of music, lyrics and vocals
My formal intro to The Cure and it truly is an album best listened to in its entirety. The instrumentals are the star as they seamlessly blend into the next but are distinct enough to stand on their own. Some of my favorite features were the inclusion of the rain and thunder on “The Same Deep Water As You,” as well as the strings and bass variations found all throughout. By far, my favorite track was Lovesong, from the very first listen. There’s an undeniable sense of loss you feel as you inch closer to the end. The album’s production is indicative of its time period, yet it avoids feeling antiquated.
It’s the best cure album easy 5/5
This is such a great album omg ! I love love the song desintegration, it's so good
A beautiful, shimmery, heartbreaking, immaculate piece of psychedelia. It sounds better every time I hear it.
Yeah!
One of my favorite albums of all time.
I simply must yearn Favorite track: Pictures of You
Amazing. Lush, layered, so well produced.
I had heard many songs off of this album as singles or on the radio but had never listened to the full album. This is an incredible album. I might try to find this on vinyl.
This record is a 10 out of 10, no skip, perfect record in my opinion. Loved it when I was 15. Love it just as much now. You do kind of have to be in the right mood, but if you let yourself go there, listening to this album all the way through is a magical experience.
What a great album to get immersed in! So well arranged and produced. Love!
thank god i didn’t find this during the peak of my tween tumblr days. i would have been insufferable. i thoroughly enjoyed this album, i find the subtle 80s synths fascinating with such a moody album.
whole album is good, gets better as it goes on
A breathtakingly beautiful album. Will always be one of my favourites.
Usually, I'm not really a fan of post-punk new-wave, moody albums. There is just something about this album that exceeds the rest of the genre by a significant amount. Maybe it is Robert Smith's soft vocals that are placed so perfectly. Or the instrumentation between the riffs of the guitar and the bass that is so dynamic across the whole album. The hits are some of their best, but the whole album is so well done. This album is the masterpiece that Smith dreamed of when developing it.
i really liked this one! some cure albums are rather one-note (and that note is gloomy) but this one really packs a punch. favorites: plainsong, pictures of you, lovesong, last dance, lullaby, fascination street
❤️
One of my favourite albums of all time top 5, "Same deep water as you" is one of the most emotional songs ever written. Like a previous reviewer I was a metal head in the 80s, early 90s and so this kind of "morbid girly shit" my metal head thought's of that time didn't register. Now I too realise what a massive knob i was and how i missed out on some truly great music, not just the cure but alsorts. That is something this list has really brought home, never shut yours ears to anything at least once give it a try
Amazing band and amazing album
Amazing.
Excellent music, atmospheric and very beautiful sounds. Will definitely be listening to the other two that make up part of the "trilogy"
(listened before) perfection
Love the record. Love The Cure. Sometimes sad, yet so beautiful and haunting. Lullaby must be one of the greatest songs by the Cure.
From the first song I was hooked into this. Thought it was the right blend of moody acoustics, guitar and melancholic lyrics. Great album and 5 stars from me
Fantastic album, such a vibe
The ocean floor of your feelings, but make it romantic. Rating: ★★★★★ 5/5 Short Review: This is gothic maximalism—lush, drowning, cathedral-sized emotion. Every track feels like staring at a storm through a stained-glass window while deciding whether to write poetry or dissolve into mist. Robert Smith doesn’t just sing sadness; he sculpts it into something shimmering. It’s atmospheric, hypnotic, and overwhelmingly beautiful—like a breakup you never fully recover from but secretly cherish. Favorite Track: “Pictures of You” — eight minutes of emotional CPR. It’s devastating, but in a way that makes you grateful to feel anything at all.
Greatest. Album. Of. All. Time
This album has already become one of my favorite albums of all time in the past couple months since discovering it, it’s just so good.
It was perfect timing for this album, it worked wonders for my hungover head to relax to while taking a bath
Best emo band of all time on the record that defines them. Understanding piece of well conceived melancholy.
Plainsong - 4/5 Pictures of You - 5/5 Closedown - 3/5 Love Song - 5/5 Lullaby - 5/5 Fascination Street - 5/5 Prayers for Rain - 5/5 The Same Deep Water as You - 5/5 Disintegration - 5/5 Untitled - 5/5 Average score: 4.7/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My favourite Cure record. Big sprawling epics - dark, brooding, and addictive. Gets under the skin.
Going into this album I was only aware of the singles, but I really love those songs so I knew it’d be an amazing album. It did not disappoint!
Unbelievable. Makes me want to dye my hair black and smoke a ciggarette. How is this the same band that made Friday Im in Love? Best Song: Disintegration Rating: 9/10 Stars: 5
I think there are only good albums by The Cure. Good for a late night listen/ponder. Good bass and drums 👌 untitled (last song) has a Bangles vibe to it, from their album Everything (also last song)
https://youtu.be/X_tFkXgRgQc?si=rOpIvW6MhEnLgG8-&t=1m15s
Always been aware of this band and what a great album. Exactly the sort of thing that should be on this list. A set of different songs and emotions and stories set in a recognisable original style. Musically and emotionally interesting and completely listenable. Simple stuff layered and complex stuff made approachable.
I never realized how many of their best songs are on this album
The definitive Goth Rock record and one of the greatest albums ever made.
Overall one of my favorites to just kind of let play through a grey day. Since it was that it was sort of perfect. Not every song is a masterpiece but the whole album is an amazing painting and you need places to rest upon. This album gives you those. Heck, I love it. Maybe I place it on a pedestal.
Absolute Banger 5/5
This is an album I've loved for a long time, I think the first time I listened to it all the way through was in April of 2024 and it was a great experience. Nothing can truly describe the vibes, aesthetics, and emotions of this album. It's dark, seductive, hopeful, and beautifully broken all at once. My favorite songs are Fascination Street and Prayers for Rain, but any one of them has an argument for being the best.
While reinventing themselves with new soundscapes of forward thinking, The Cure were able to maintain their identity while sounding like themselves.
One of the greatest of all time
Easily the best Cure album, and one of the greatest albums of the whole decade. I really don't have anything unique to say about this album. Classic. Timeless. 9/10
I remember listening to my roommate's copy back in the early 1990s. SO, who isn't a fan of The Cure is impressed with the first song. He had never heard it before and he likes it.
Moj omiljeni od mojih omiljenih (engleza)
Really enjoyed this - need to listen to more Cure
Yeah, I really like this album. Not my favorite from The Cure, but lots of good stuff.
Perfect soundtrack for reading, drinking coffee and snuggling with the dog on a rainy day. Beauty in the gloom. The Head on the Door is my favorite album of theirs, but this is my favorite in this list.
One of my favorites. A masterpiece
This is a perfect album.
9.5/10 I love The Cure but I also feel like I'm not a proper fan - I've always listened most to their slightly poppier stuff, with 'The Head on the Door' probably being my favourite album. Of course, I've listened to Disintegration before, but I have to say it was a pleasure to fully immerse myself in this album again for this review. I'm not often in the mood to listen to Goth rock, but when I am, what better album could there be than this? Of course the high points of this album are the singles, (of which 'Lullaby' has always taken the cake for me, what an absurdly good song,) but these moments are at their most impactful when immersed in the listening experience of the full album. Best songs: Pictures Of You, Lovesong, Lullaby Listens: 5+ Best songs:
A dark masterpiece that only gets better with time.
Highlight Song/s: Plainsong, Pictures Of You, Closedown, Lovesong and Lullaby Disintegration, Disintegration. Easily one of the best albums ever made, any one that says otherwise is spreading straight heresy. The album is very busy instrumentally, beautifully layered guitars. It also has very long intros, which is something they did particularly quite a lot early on in with their Gothic trilogy albums. The tone overall on the album is quite frosty, I really like cold-sounding albums; just my favourite! Honest to god I have no clue what's happening on the album cover but it gives me, good, cold, mystical vibes. The atmosphere is second-to-none. Robert Smith has said that a lot of the inspiration (especially the atmosphere) for the album is from Treasure by the Cocteau Twins; you can definitely hear the influence. The album incorporates a lot of repetitiveness and droning, unlike some repetitive albums, it doesn't knock down the rating. The repetitiveness completely entrances the listener. This album really does put a spell on me. Below this line is the highlight songs of this album and why I think they're a highlight: -Plainsong and Closedown sound like the time of the year where it's the most wonderful. * Closedown has great sounding percussion tone and rhythm -Pictures Of You, one of the best songs ever made! That long build-up is very much worth the wait. -I've always liked the synthesiser in Lovesong alongside the un-hurried vocals. -Lullaby has one of favourite motifs ever! (the part where the chorus would've went.) The whisper vocals are a nice change of pace compared to the songs prior. The bass is grooves quite hard. Easy 5/5 album, Robert Smith really did outdo himself on this one. All while he was in the process of trying to kill The Cure.
Genius. Their best record. It's thick, enveloping, layered and while I think of it kind of as angsty world-wrecking teenage longing, it is actually pretty grown up and smart.
9/10 I'm on holiday from today and my good mood puts this up a star. Well done
Nothing wrong here and Robert Smith still kills it in concert in his 60s.
Perfection (100/100)
Man, they have such a great sound. I already knew Lovesong, Lullaby, Fascination Street and Pictures Of You, but those last two have longer versions here. Great versions! I still think the biggest highlight is Lullaby because of the amazing layering.
Favorite Track: Lovesong
This album first found me (quite fittingly) as I was navigating the ugly collapse of a very serious relationship. It’s not surprising I connected with it so strongly. There’s a part of me that’s always been a dreamy romantic, and though Disintegration is certainly a record about heartbreak and loss, what I’ve always loved is that it doesn’t just wallow in the despair. It still believes in love. Still has hope. Still imagines that something beautiful could emerge from the wreckage. And re-listening nearly a decade later, in a situation infinitely better than the one that ended, that hopefulness doesn’t feel corny or unreasonable or even misguided. It feels just about right. Actually, it feels perfect. 5/5 Highlights: Plainsong Pictures of You Closedown Fascination Street Prayers for Rain Untitled
Pictures of You makes me miss a love I never felt. This album is such a vibe, I'm just upset I litstened to it at work. Need to give it another listen alone.
Masterpiece. Highlight is the title track, but there are so many bangers here.
Robert Smith at his creative peak. Melancholic and beautiful, it still sounds timeless today.
Listened to this while reading the end of the three musketeers. The vibes fitted excellently
such a classic that it would be weird to give anything else than 5, but i do find myself forgetting that the album is playing in the background
Rare case of I know a couple of the songs, think I'm familiar, and then the thing is unbelievable
Dark and atmospheric, love it.
No notes. 10 out of 10
So defining
Probably their most perfect album. Quality.
Haven't listened to this properly for years. The production has dated ever so slightly in places, but the emotional impact hasn't diminished at all.
Poznam par komadov s tega albuma, nisem pa nikol albuma poslušala. Fajn, dreamy & dreary začetek s "Plainsong", k mi nikakor ni plain. Pa kar žalosten in lep obenem. V bistvu ful primerno za trenuten dež in sivino zunaj. In potem "Pictures Of You". Pozabila sm, kok je dobr. In spet žalosten. "Closedown" je podobno kot prvi komad ful dolg cajta brez vokalov. Po pa k pridejo vokali, so pa isto brutalni in prisotni le za kratek čas, kot v prvem komadu. "Lovesong" je to, kar naslov obljublja in za odtenek bolj poskočen. V "Last Dance" spet dolg intro brez vokalov, kar je čist ok, ker muska je zmer hauntingly beautiful. In spet zelo melanholična besedila. Yay, goth rock! Ooo, "Lullaby"! Kul. "Fascination Street" tud sledi temu modelu, z vokali šele po drugi minuti nekje; naslednji komad podobno ("Prayers For Rain"). "The Same Deep Water As You" se začne z zvoki nevihte, se prelevi v glasbo in se nadaljuje enako čudovito. (Skos se mi poraja besedna zveza 'hauntingly beautiful' - to mi najbolš opisuje glasbo The Cure. In ne vem kaj naj drugega še dodam.) Atmosferičen, gloomy, čudovit.
Myliu. Negaliu sulaukti pamatyti juos gyvai.
95/100. A dark, dreamy masterpiece. With its lush production, haunting melodies, and atmospheric depth, it creates a world you can completely float away in. Blending elements of goth, post-punk, and shoegaze, this album is both melancholic and beautiful.
Klassieker, unieke sound. Hét the cure album
The Cure's defining statement. They had explored the darkest depths with their goth trilogy and begun experimenting with pop on Head on the Door and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me. On Disintegration, The Cure find balance. Their pop sensibility makes their songs of loss and longing (and spiders), sound huge and brought their sound to its zenith. I've loved this album for years for it's dreamy and darkly romantic qualities and excellent production. Despite The Top being my favorite The Cure album, Disintigration is undeniably The Cure's ultimate statement. All killer, no filler.
Brilliant. The quiet chimes and then the crash first notes of Plainsong get me every time. The music is rich, mournful, and sometimes even foreboding. The sound of the whole album is seamless. The lyrics are poetry. Nothing else I’ve ever listened to sounds like this masterpiece from the Cure.
What a perfect album. It's so poetic, so dark, so sexy, so loving and haunting. I adore this masterpiece. It's nostalgic to me, I could listen to it with my mom.... Pers fav: Pictures of you (of course), the intro of Plainsong & Disintegration.
Perfect album to listen to while looking for a ring you lost in a field, "kiss you goodbye..."
I loved the moody instrumental vibe of the entire album! Tracks to Track: Pictures Of You, but they're all pretty solid
The cures unrivaled goth masterpiece
Love The Cure, but this album is a bit lacking. But it deserves 5 stars because it's a fuck you album. They decided to change their sound because they were getting too popular. It's right in line with other bands of that era not wanting to sell out.
I just love this, plain and simple.
Somewhat dreamy.
In the grand scheme of things, this album is still quite new to me. The Cure were more of a greatest hits band to me, one I always liked but never delved into until the last year or so. Suffice to say, the albums I have taken time to listen to have been a big hit with me, and it is easy to see why Disintegration is so lauded. It’s an album that doesn’t feel at all rushed, lots of space and contemplation; the opening and closing tracks are prime examples of this.
Classic 5/5
Disintegration is epic, glorious, dreamy, melancholic, reflective, dealing with grief, disappointment and hope. Unfulfilled with previous pop success, Robert makes a deliberate attempt to produce his masterpiece. Each track lays down a musical pattern through a long intro that stands on its own. Reminds me in some places of Cocteau Twins and other places of New Order.
A return to form for the list today, solid 5 with two of my favourite songs ever on in pictures of you and love song, Crawley’s very own
own
Aka that time Robert Smith felt emo about his commercial success so recorded his most commercially successful record. Word is he's still emo to this day...
Pretty good, atmospheric, spacey, mellow/dark, a little dated but still cool.
love love love
Love it
Ethereal and devastating; formed from simple parts layered to create something so atmospheric you can’t help but be consumed by it. A portal into another world. Favourite track: Pictures of You
Album 12/1001 Perhaps the most atmospheric album ever made. Absolute perfection. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Favourite song: Pictures of You 📸👧 Honourable mention: every other track 👌
Sm more creative than the smiths, such a dreamy and ethereal project, kinda suffers from its length tho 9.6
11/10 My favorite album of all time. Not even close. 9-15-2025
Introspective, moody, but not a fun time to listen to while running. "Songs about happiness murmured in dreams And we both of us knew how the ending would be"
Yeah the last half drags a bit, but this is a masterpiece. Plain Song, Pictures of You, Love Song, Fascination Street are all pretty perfect. Robert Smith is a genius. The Cure's finest album.
I was pleasantly surprised by this album. I'd heard a couple songs off it before--I'm pretty sure my mom had a mixtape with some of these songs on it when I was younger. I expected the album to be too repetitive in its gloomy tone, but I actually didn't find that to be the case. The first part of Disintegration sets you up to believe that this is just going to be an album with too many dreary love songs, but it takes a turn after Lovesong. Some of my favorite parts were the extended instrumental bits like at the beginning of Lullaby. I will definitely listen to this album again and put some of the songs into my regular rotation. Favorites (that weren't just Pictures of You or Lovesong): Lullaby Fascination Street Homesick
I really like this album. Very easy to listen to. Unexpected given the album cover. Very pleasant listen both times
excellent
"Disintegration is the best album ever!" -- Kyle, in S1E12 of South Park Just like what John Linnell, singer/keyboard player of famed American band They Might Be Giants once wrote in “Older”, You're older than you've ever been/And now you're even older/And now you're older still”. Set to a 60 bpm drum beat, the song vividly portrays decay at a visible time, bringing us the existential crisis that stood still in our heart. When Robert Smith began writing this album, he was motivated by the same thing: the fact that he is already 29, and most artists in the music world has done their best work before 30. The result is probably the annex of the whole gothic rock genre. The atmosphere of the album immideately sets up with"Plainsong", which starts with a shimmering soundscape and airy synths and guitar, while Robert's voice doesn't enter until halfway. "I think it's dark and it looks like it's rain", he sang in a painful manner, like doom, its unescapable. the protagonist wryly smiled for a second but the smile is enough to give the feeling of doom. It's just the way I smile, he continued. basic and natural and harmless but still giving harm. like the fact that you are 29. "Pictures of You" is more dreamy and lengthy than plainsong but for the general audience, its more accessable because of the presence of lyrics throughout the song. It seems to be about love but can also interpreted as the lost of youth and the worried state that Robert was in, But it is "Closedown" that he addresses the issue more throughly: "I'm running out of time", he starts the song directly and let his anxiety loose, singing about emptiness, having real feelings again, and love. Speaking of love... Lovesong is definitely the lightest moment in the whole album. Created as a gift for Robert's long time childhood friend and eventual wife, Mary Poole, it escapes the pain and highlights the love, the most straightforward thing in human relationships and one sparkle of light under the anxiety of underachieving. Last Dance, the addition track on the CD version and streaming version is somehow an anti-lovesong: affection turns to the fear of aging but still continuing that wryness of Plainsong, ending a relationship. Lullaby is another light note with the bedtime story of "cannibalistic" spiders (aka Spiderman. get the reference? anyway robert smith dont have the hyphen between spider and man, so what we're talking here is not peter parker.) set to a rather lighthearted instrument, might be the only cure song that i have heard on local radio. im in east asia by the way. Ending side one, Fascination street have an iconic riff and a somehow "heavy" atmosphere, the somehow dancy instrumentals made it another commercial hit on disintegration, the lyric is also unstable as well, feeling the type of forced feeling when everything is ending. Please take me out and give me meaning, this is what the lyrics feel to me. Prayer for Rain opens the darker and generally longer side 2 with the essential darkwave atmosphere, brooding, dark and lingering. The lyrics are also visibly depressing in a near masochism fashion. We dont know who the “you” Robert is mentioning, but rain is always a symbol of hope and reborn, so we might as interpret it as a song hoping for one last chance to prove yourself before you are deemed worthless by the general public, before all the pain kicks in. The nine minute epic named “the same deep water as you” is transcendent. Framed with death motifs and in stretched out synths and reversed guitars for me somehow returns the the grand theme and probably can be interpreted as the difficulty for musicians struggling to create their best album before they turn 30, struggling and working but ultimately sinking due to that, its unfiltered pain in the most serene form. The title track gives us a similar type of lengthy buildups but having a more melodically strong riff topped with Robert’s lyrics, decaying, breaking apart from anxiety, disappointment, and frustration. “It's easier for me to get closer to Heaven/Than ever feel whole again”, he sang in a most pathetic and powerful manner, as the music keeps on its beat and the melody repeats over itself, feeling like falling and flying at the same time. But we all know that we will never grow wings one day. Easily one of the best track on the album. Homesick is inferior comparing to Last Dance for both of them being bonus tracks on the CD version, so at last we come to Untitled, the finishing of side 2 and of the entire album. Robert talk about time and underachieving again, struggling to tell what happened to people and the fear, the anxiety, with the final result being more things undone but also keep this feeling inside his heart and that’s how he managed to make this album, racing against the clock and his own fear, until successfully escaping it all, like how flowers bloom in natural disaster sites. Before talking about why Disintegration is a 5, i have something to say about myself. I am an anxious neurodivergent sixteen year old who lives under self loathing and tried to create music because I Love music. under Robert's negative influence i came to know that if i didn't create anything good before I am 30 i would rather be going to hell. funny, you would think but actually i mean as the John Linnell lyric i quoted, time is marching on every minute and every second so i am drenched in fear as if i am turning 30 next minute. i feel what he feels, the decay and the ending of your life being unsuccessful at 30, people tried to reclaim the age by celebrating 30 years old like it a brand new start for their life, many singers continue to produce high quality works after they turn 30 and some debut after turning 30, but the fear of the age is real. So, with disintegration, Robert successfully beat the social expectations of turning 30 and created the most successful gothic rock album, blending dream pop, post punk and alternative rock with ease. I didn’t feel at ease with my age but time zooms by like an arrow and my 17th birthday is just around the corner. and again to quote the lyric, it is marching on every single moment, and is still marching on. i am in fear. and also, one of the reason i love the cure is that i fucking hate morrissey. dude is both a whiny extreme right wing racist and a supposed man united supporter. this type of people should go to hell for supporting man united (and for being a nationalist too). wait a minute he dont support any football team. i both hate him less and hate him more.
Gorgeous
This album and Wish are top tier albums. One of my favorite from this era of alt rock/ post punk
It's Disintegration. Not much more to be said.
Why has no one told me to listen to the cure before?? So beautiful 🥹
Wow, this is one of the greatest of all time. My first listen through the whole album; I only listened to their songs. But the album really breaks you down to your core and is so damn powerful.
I misread the cure only being familiar with their radio hits. They are far from the bubblegum pop group I thought they were. This is the second album allocated to me from them and the better of the two. Really enjoyed this one.
I always liked The Cure but regarded myself as a bit of a part timer (y’know - greatest hits and singles) before seeing them headline Reading in 2012, where they were fantastic. Disintegration is the best Cure album I’ve heard up to now. So good that I’ve listened to it 4 times over the last few couple of days (including the extra tracks that are not on the original release) meaning I’m getting behind on yesterday’s and today’s albums! I don’t know how to review it for production/songwriting/lyrics/playing. It’s just “The Cure”.
Maybe it's enough to say it's very idiosyncratic, and he's a very strange dude, and somehow because of that it all fits together so well.
Gothic vocals with moody, dreampop synths and shimmering guitar lines all wrapped in plenty of reverb, this is a fantastic album and definitely one I will be revisiting.
Loved it. So goth, but also gave me vibes of shoegaze. Classic!
Classic
Not a huge fan of The Cure's ghastly and industrial undertones (i.e. "Pornography") but "Disintegration" is by far their greatest album, in my humble opinion. My favourite songs include "Pictures of You" and "Lovesong."
This one really captured my attention. I really like The Cure and have heard all the singles off of this but its damn near a masterpiece as a whole.
All-time favorite album!!
Not surprised to really enjoy this one. Tons of comparisons to indie/alt bands over the years sinces
WE ARE SO BACK. one of my favorite albums of all time. This album means so much to me as it helped me though so many things. While not my personal favorite cure album (that goes to seventeen seconds!): It really is that amazing. I do admit I am pretty biased as the cure is one of my all-time favorite bands, if not my number one favorite. This album is also one of the first cds I found secondhand when I started collecting cds! I was so happy about it :] -- misc song opinions - Pictures of You - This was my father's favorite song from the cure. He'd always say that the song ''flowed nicely'' whenever I'd ask about it. While it wasn't my favorite song, I appreciated it but didn't fully 'get it' like my father did. When he passed recently, I re-listened to disintegration in full and finally understood it. It's now a very dear song to my heart because of it. - Last Dance - This track is my number one favorite song from the cure. just a gorgeous song that feels like taking a long walk in winter. I particularly love how RS's voice sounds in it. - I had a particularly hard time getting into untitled and closedown the first and second time I had listened to them. I'm not entirely sure why! I now deeply love them, though x] Favorites: All tracks + Demo fear of ghosts. I don;t think I could rank the songs in best to worst as I adore all of them. 5/5
Perfect album, back to front; deep cuts, hits, they're all exceptional. I’ll compare this to a recent listen - The Good, The Bad, and the Queen. That band managed two memorable melodies across an hour of music. Robert Smith will throw five hummable melodies on top of each other for a 30 second slice of one song. If you think I'm making this up give the intro to "Untitled" a listen! I'm not very consistent with my star rating system. Some records get an extra star or two for having a great song, or a great vocalist, or a song that really moves me. Disintegration gets a star for each Mt Rushmore it appears on- 80s records , synth pop records, goth rock records, British records, best A sides. If my math is right that's -> FIVE STARS
The Cure are brilliant and this album is a classic
Awesome start, instrumental, takes until song 2 for vocals to come in. Hopeful tunes at the beginning, filled with emotion and powerful melodies. Great ballads. Melancholy dreams. Great for any season. I didnt listen in one sitting, I want to listen again.
Robert Smith will always love you and I will always love this album, especially lovesong. The Cure feel so criminally underrated yet are consistent so good. This is certainly one of their best albums and it contains my second favourite Cure song in Lovesong. Perfect for me!
A swirling ocean of immaculately produced ethereal post punk. It surrounds you with feelings of longing that almost drown you. The lyrics are dripping in that melancholy, but they never feel overly dramatic or inauthentic. They feel real and honest. Each song feels carefully crafted, with intricate synths and guitars that compliment each other perfectly. And there's so much range here: the regret of "Pictures of You," the sinister "Lullaby," the pulsing, desperate "Fascination Street." On a different album "Love Song" would be a thoughtful pop tune, but here you begin to second guess whether it's also somehow a downer. Whenever the album gets to those last 5 long songs I always think they're going to drag by, but each has such a lovely, enthralling melody that I feel disappointed when each song ends.
Masterpiece
#673. This album is pretty close to what you'd call a masterpiece. If you don't like this, than we probably can't be friends. 5/5: more, please
lots of bangers
Best goth album ever made
Dark, moody, strangely sexy. Love it.
❤️
I have no idea why I've never listened to this album before, but it was incredible. I've listened to it multiple days in a row. This is a true 5 star perfect album.
Absolutely standout.
Absolutely fab
witchy whimsical girl must listen
Top 10 all time (personally) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+++++🖤
Great album, super easy to listen to and still super deep if you can pay attention. A classic for a reason
If there's any album that is a band's culmination of their earlier work and thier pop peak its this album. Similar to physical graffiti for lead zeppelin. This is where everything they had been working on finally came together.Perfectly
Great Album
it’s disintegration
Yeah.
What a delight!
Really liked it. Haven't listen too closely to the lyrics but from the melodies and everything I really enjoyed it
Untouchable masterpiece.
Superb album, not a bad song on it.
Very cool and moody. Enjoyed it more as the album went on Standout songs: Pictures of you Fascination Street Disintegration
A very good album.
Iconic
Holy shit I love the cure. I’ve heard other people talk about them and always filed it away as “yeah, one of those good bands from a while ago” but jesus Christ this album rules. I’m gonna go back through their discography
Incredible record.
So moody and great
This album is everything.
I never once listened to The Cure. But now I am two albums behind because I listened to this album on repeat.
Well I guess I'm a fan of The Cure now
One of the best albums out of the UK - over 70 minutes with no filler.
a transending ambient collection. Moody and relevant.
Third Cure album I've listened to on this list, but easily my favorite so far.
I love this album, it’s the cure’s magnum opus.
I don’t know why I’ve never listened to a full The Cure album. This is awesome! Very groovy and grand, yet at the same time spacey and lush.
A masterpiece. Pure Cure. Dark, moody, introspective. I loved this when it was released-a new Goth punk sound. It has lasted very well to present time darkness… Comforting.
Goth legends at their apex.
This album was excellent. “Plainsong” is a really pretty opener. “Pictures Of You” might be my favorite song here it’s truly excellent. “Lovesong” is among their most popular songs and is there for a reason it’s really good. “Lullaby” and “Fascination Street” are also excellent. The first 7 tracks are really great, genuine 5 star material. But I didn’t care much for “Prayers For Rain”, “The Same Deep Water As You”, or “Homesick” though the title track and “Untitled” deliver very good ending bits to the album. If the second half was stronger it would be a 5, as is it’s around a 4.5/5
Epic album. Made to be played loud. Such a big sound
got it
Immense, gothic and elegiac, Disintegration a soundscape of an album. Coincidentally, the first time I saw them on this tour, this is The Cure moving at a monumental, glacial pace that absorbs the listener in a vivid, dreamlike state.
Groovy, spacey, very very good
Probably the best The Cure Album of all time. Absolutely love it.
Goated
Holy shit, the synths on this album are soooo smooth! It’s like melting away into nothing, pure ecstasy. I’ve always been a fan of ‘The Cure’s’ hits but the album tracks here are on par with the rest.
I knew I liked The Cure, but I didn’t expect to love this album as much as I did. Looking at the track list, I knew there’d be a couple of songs I recognised, but none were my favourites. However, listening to this from front to back was an absolute delight. It feels very ethereal and dream pop. I’ve never really understood what gothic rock is, because it seems more about clothes than music. This was a really nice pop rock album though. I’ll be looking out for this when I next go record shopping.
This one brings me back! I loved this album back in my teens, & still love it into my 50s!!!
9/10
Always good
All of a sudden I was back in the middle of a blistering hot Hyde Park..
Such a beautiful album, I love how almost every track has such a wonderfully crafted opening. The lyrics read far more like poetry, which fits the over all gothic romantic dream feeling.
Discazo.
Love this one!
Classic. 5*
Amazing album, some incredible songs and impeccable composition. Perfectly gloomy.
Beautiful, epic intro. The band's first commercial hit. 80s goth rock. Atmospheric sound bath. One of my first music memories. The Lullaby video, creepy and fascinating. Must have been 8 or 9.
Eric brigham shit, maybe my new favorite breakup album ;( hope i don't need it
Robert Smith saved my grandmother from a cow Jokes aside, I still love this album.
Best album by The Cure
First I need to complain little. I so dislike singing style and also a bit the voice of Robert Smith, not my cup of tea. Putting that aside I get to my short opinion of Disintegration. Wow. Just wow. This is album full of excellent songs and by listening this album two times already I can't find weak links. I also notice that I'm apparently a sucker for string arrangements that pops up on multiple songs on this album. When trying to be an adult and putting my opinion of Robert Smith's voice aside, I just have only one option. That I called 5 stars
This is amazing! It's moody, atmospheric, textured, and unique. The whole album feels very cohesive, and it really draws you in. I really liked Fascination Street, Lovesong, and Lullaby.
Best album of 80s
Super album
It's The Cure
So I listened to the 7 hour podcast on the Cure. I have previously never listened to them, maybe in movies or tv shows without knowing it, I think I’ve heard Boys Don’t Cry a few times, but that’s not really what this is. I listed to the album before the podcast but a few times in chunks. I just listened to it end to end again. My first five on this project. It’s really refreshing to realise I can like something so much that is new, I can’t remember the last time that happened. Lovesong is fantastic - listening to the lyrics, it could very easily be sappy or cliched, but it’s audibly and obviously a sincere artistic creation of one man - not a mash-mash creation of a Swedish guy in a cabin writing a melody for a NY popstar who gets lyrics from an alcoholic Belfast. I think you can make the same case for lyrics on other songs, it’s very easy to make fun of, but I think I’m too old for that - if it’s a genuine attempt by anyone to come to terms with what they feel having gone through the turmoil of life and not drummed out by an algorithm I will honour it - in this case it’s also moving, but helped immensely by the mood and vibes created instrumentally. On the podcast they said that, at least prior to this album the Cure were very blase about instrumentation, it was more vibes “hey we’ll get you someone who can teach you keyboard, but you’re not good enough at drumming.” What I notice about this album is how many times you have to go several minutes into the song to hear any singing, and relatedly how almost all the songs are 5 minutes plus. That’s usually a red flag for me - especially if it’s from some obviously self-flattering “we are aRtISts” crowd, but it works here and is well earned. For the same reason I can see why this never became that popular - there aren’t really any radio friendly singles here with the exception of lovesong. I also, unfortunately, listen to YouTube music with ad breaks which I imagine Robert Smith would chew cyanide pills at the thought of. Just one more way modern life has degraded the few treasures we have left.
A near perfect album. Robert Smith and crew do a phenomenal job of drawing the listener in, lulling them into a false sense of security, and then going in for the killing blow. Amazing.
One of their best. It doesn’t represent their poppier side, but this might be the most Cure album by The Cure. 🖤
I have heard songs by The Cure before, and liked it. That didn't change here. What a solid album from start to finish
So much aura. It sounds like a long car trip on the sunset and reminded me of Serial Experiment Lain. Shout-out to the drums and synth sounds.
🔥🔥
This is just really good, isn't it? Atmospheric and moody, with some killer tunes. Among the Cure's best.
Aparte de las obvias (lullaby especialmente, amo), me encantaron prayers for rain y the same deep water as you
I was maybe 5 songs in when I ordered a Vinyl copy. Maybe I was just in the correct mood for listening to this album but I was expecting an album of filler with 2 exceptionally great songs in Lullaby and Fascination street and 2 radio friendly hits when I looked at the tracklist. I honestly don't think there is a bad song on this album. I think this is probably my favorite album that I never listened to previously that the list has given me. There have been a couple other albums I hadn't listened to before that I gave 5 stars but I really don't know how I missed this album as I listened to mostly alternative and metal through the 90's but I guess I never gave the Cure the credit I should have. This is simply a masterpiece
I could - should - keep coming back to this one.
I sort of figured I'd like them but I didn't it expect it to be this good hahaha. Just managing to produce several minute long bangers consistently
What an experience! I should've listened to this album ages ago. Nothing but hitters upon hitters for 72 straight minutes - absolutely deserving of the title of one of the greatest albums ever.
This album changed my fucking life. The atmosphere they create is so unparalleled. Warm synths and the bass, the way they layer different instruments. The Cure is the only band I listen to where they give you three 7-minute songs in a row and i wish they were longer. I have listened to this album probably 15 times and I discover something new each time. Easiest 5 ever.
LOVE The Cure!!!
The last album I listened to in the challenge, and it was a great album to finish on.. atmospheric and beautiful.
Incredible album.
can't be anything else can it
Probs one of, if not my favourite album by The Cure
all the comments are like "wow the best goth rock album!!" but really it's genuinely one of the best albums of all time. don't limit yourself
Dark, moody and goth as hell I loved it 5
Favoriten Lovesong Last Dance Lullaby The Same Deep water as you Untitled Plainsong Pictures of you Closedown Plainsong
4.8 - Really really great album, the cure I think are up there with one of my fave bands
Lovesong alone makes this the perfect album, but all around fantastic.
This is one of those albums that’s hard to get super excited about in a deep-review kind of way, mostly because I discovered it at such a young age. That said, I do have to give it credit, because it’s stayed relevant through the decades and across different generations. The whole album is consistent from start to finish, and all the tracks work well together to create a unified sound and feel.

I mean, it's disintegration...

Wow, this is a stunning album. First time listening and it really got me.
Listened already
This is already in my top 10 albums of all time, starting off with a massive soundscape, Disintegration speaks to the soul of depression.
Fantastic album, great musicianship, some deep topics but great
best ever
Excellent album. Feels like the culmination of all The Cure’s work in the 1970s came together perfectly on this album.
Amazing! A masterpiece! This truly atmospheric, dark, and moody album is a career peak for a legendary band. What a treat to listen to it again as a part of this project.
I don't know what I was listening to in 1989; it wasn't this, but it should have been. I do remember liking the singles, particularly Fascination Street and Lovesong, and dancing around to them at the uni discos. Possibly, my album-buying had dropped off a bit, due to being a poor student. Anyway, I've remedied my remiss-ness since. Disintegration definitely has the feel of being a peak Cure moment: atmospheric, slow-burning, expansive, sad, and with some gorgeous layered riffs, eg Prayers for Rain (and Last Dance, which I see was added on to reissues, but which sounds like it should always have been there imo). I agree with the chap quoted on Wiki that it sounds like "the culmination of all the musical directions the Cure were pursuing over the course of the 80s". When Songs Of A Lost World came out, majestically, last year, I went back to listen to this, and the two albums now have a permanent place in my heart. The songs are compelling and affecting, and the sounds are dark and beautiful. Brilliant.
Can’t knock a single second of this. Just sad that Love Cats put me off them for so long 🤦♀️
I feel like kids today don't know about Disintegration and that's a damn shame.
Incredible. One of the greatest opening tracks ever and doesn’t drop off the whole way through.
Five stars through and through. So clearly a cut above the rest, this was an easy one to rate despite never listening to a full album by The Cure. The long instrumentals are captivating, the introspective lyrics connected with me, and the album is thematically driven, without getting lost in the sauce. I love Built To Spill's "Perfect From Now On" and see a lot of parallels. An artist on the verge of breaking big, takes the long way and goes introspective instead of delivering a radio-friendly product.
One of the best albums of the '80s, period. I yearn to be dressed in full goth regalia, dancing to this record in the club. 10/10
Masterpiece. Dark, sad, melodic. Simply The Cure.
Top tier
Loving it
