Fleetwood Mac

A+. Amazing listening back to an album that manages to keep giving after decades
Paul Simon

A+. One of my favourite all time. Listen whenever I’m my happiest. The sounds of this truly move me. What a wonderful bass & guitar sound

There are for sure some moments of musical transcendence on here. The drum intro to Sad But True. Even the plucky guitar ending Nothing Else Matters. I remember picking away at these tracks when I was 15. Ultimately this album feels stuck in that time. I know it moved the genre forward but lots of rhyming by numbers and kinda juvenile lyrics. Good but not great, IMHO.
Ray Charles
4/5
Beautiful album. Nice soul. And I can’t believe he had such an incredible voice for so long.
Elvis Costello
3/5
First record I’ve actively disliked at first. Grew on me a bit lyrically but not what I was expecting from EC, for sure
David Bowie
5/5
First album doing this that I’ve not heard before and absolutely loved. Obviously I know Changes and Life on Mars and Queen Bitch. Beautiful, smart and really fun album.

Terrific. I think I’d listened before but I listen to a lot of the Live at Massey Hall album and it was a good reminder of how wonderful the album tracks are too.

Good record! I knew about 5 songs from radio, etc. there are a few songs that aren’t quite at the level of the singles but a great one to listen to overall
