Excellent lock in music

Space to dance in space.

can't accept drum n bass we need jungle I'm afraid

Very cool but didn't need the continuous mixes.

THE SPOTIFY LINK IS BROKEN, THIS IS THE ACTUAL ALBUM (minus 4 songs due to copyright): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7sIUXSrVoU Sounds sounding so sweltering Beats bringing back beltering I am a fan of drum and bass This, the beginning of the race Twice I listened to this in entirely And enjoyed it tirelessly

Normally I hate overly long albums (and I'm glad I found the review stating that the wrong album is linked, because that one is over 3 hours long), but this flew by. I love jungle music so much.

Ihan kuin oisin ollu sienestämässä

It's worth noting that the original album from 1996 is not the same as the one linked here on Spotify. Nevertheless, great songs/album that still influences artists to this day.

Takes me back to clubbing days :D Still sounds great.

SO LONG. But I love some drum and bass, so vibes throughout.

more like drum and based amirite!!!

Took a while to find this one as not on my preferred streaming service, but once I did listen, whoa! What a banger! Another fantastic gem thrown up by the 1001 list to offset some of the shite. Frenetic drum n bass, a lovely aural adventure.

First time I’ve listened to jungle and love love loved it, excited to listen to more jungle !!

Pure 90s dnb. Plug this straight into my veins. It somehow feels nostalgic even though it's brand new to me. A little unexpected to have a compilation album in this, but in the end I don't care because it's right up my alley.

Could only find this on YouTube, bu I piggin' love it. At the end of the first CD I was genuinely excited to learn there was a second. Absolutely cracking music to work to, provides stimulation without distraction. Superb.

It’s a faff to reconstruct the album (spread over 5 separate YouTubes: CD1, CD2, and three missing tracks). Going back to individual tracks (or even identifying them) is also a faff. And it’s got a 2 hours playing time… What a great album, though. All killer, no filler, difficult to single out favourite tracks, but Pharoah/Rings Around Saturn towards the end of CD2 stood out for me.

Super refreshing to hear some dnb in here, the early stuff is just so nice to sit back and do some work to, and this is an absolutely primo collection. Early dnb and jungle is an area I've wanted to know and understand more about for some time so this is a great doorway into part of that, this really made my morning a lot better :)

Drum and bass perfection, the production is so clean and it's so well-mixed that it doesn't feel like it's dated at all, especially when compared to Roni Size's more crowd-pleasing but less even "New Forms."

Omg it’s atmospheric liquid drum and bass! One of my absolute favorite genres of music. I would have never expected this to be on here. Makes fantastic work and study music in my opinion. It gives me energy without feeling the need to stand up and dance. I have been blessed this day. 9/10

I got lost in the jungle. 10/10

It's an absolute classic.

Good Drum and Bass

Some really nice and chill tracks in this album. Found the best way to listen to the album was to just listen to the last track "continuous vocal mix" as DnB can be particularly boring unless its in a mix format. A very enjoyable mix though.

Pioneer EDM. 5/5

A super nice little ambient/house rinse up to have on in the background. So weird that Lilly queued a track by him at pre drinks on the same day that I listened this album.

top notch space music

tum tum tum tum tum tum

Spotify version almost seems polite nowadays, like background music at a respectable dinner party. The Youtube "correct" version feels a bit more like I remember jungle feeling at the time and gets another star. Strong album. (Everyone complaining it's three hours long, look at the last two tracks. They're the same album in different mix styles, you don't need to listen to them too, you mad bastards)

The enchanting ride symbol in Solar System had me in a trance. I enjoyed this album a lot and feel it does an excellent job of portraying D&B, unlike some other albums in the genre. The atmospheric synth and jazzy undertones kept things fresh and progressed the album with varying sounds. The album is longer than I would prefer, and I do find the rhythms somewhat repetitive after a while, but I appreciate that this is a compilation and feel that each track earned its place on the album. I would return to some of the songs on this album if I felt that the vibes were right.

Good ass jungle

06/21 Thats the good stuff right there

I would never usually consider myself a fan of DnB, but maybe this album made a believer out of me. Excruciatingly long, yes, but right when I felt like my attention was about to lapse we'd get a switch up. Godly background music as well.

This was a hard one to listen to. It's not available on Tidal. I had to search for it on YouTube and apparently some of the tracks are blocked. I was really hoping that the search would be worth it. It was. This is a good album and it's not even my usual genre of music.

This album was difficult to find online, but it was worth the hunt. The entire record sounds exactly like something you would hear on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show. I really don't listen to that genre as much anymore these days, but hearing this made me miss it, and I wouldn't mind putting this on again at all. I don't actually have a specific favorite song to call out, mostly because the timestamps for the individual tracks weren't listed on the YouTube videos I managed to find. The whole thing just blends together into one massive, seamless mix.

I really love Drum & Bass so this something I can enjoy a lot. Maybe not the best liquid DnB ever but still fresh and groovy.

It might be long and not on Spotify, but the beats on this are insane, feels like early vaporwave with the samples and chopped and screws

I really enjoyed this. Diverse, fun, fast paced, but not overwhelming background music. And some Ferris Bueller quotes. Done!

cool stuff in here, a good gateway into dnb

early 2000's soundtrack

I found this on YouTube, which is a very different version to what is available on Spotify. This album is underrated I think. It is certainly not everyone's cup of tea but the beats are solid and I love the atmospherics of the album,

C'est Stéphanie qui m'a fait découvrir ça je crois hahaha c'est banger

Excellent beats, though some of the synths sounded pretty cheesy. I love the inclusion of the continuous mix tracks too. Great background focus music.

This was an interesting one. Not a genre that I'm super familiar with and the tracks end up blending into each other but an enjoyable one to put on in the background and let wash over me.

we need more jungle am afraid

Enjoyed

Hype music to compliment all the cool new demos on a Playstation Magazine demo disc. As with all downtempo-esque drum-n-bass-y music in the list, listening to this on the morning commute doesn't really seem to do it justice. That said, pretty sweet vibes overall. Fav Tracks: Disc 1

Okay, this was a tricky album to find, because it's not available on typical streaming services. Even the versions I found on YouTube had a few tracks muted due to copyright issues. Therefore, I wound up listening to it on the Internet Archive, which I will provide the link here to copy and paste into your browser (https://archive.org/details/logical-progression). Anyway... Daniel Andrew Williamson, better known by the moniker LTJ Bukem, was trained as a classical pianist until he discovered jazz fusion, and then pivoted to DJ work in the UK rave scene of the early 1990s. After experimenting with jungle and drum 'n' bass in his mixes, Bukem founded the label Good Label Records, specializing in the more jazz-influenced and atmospheric side of the genres. His works, alongside those of other artists in the drum 'n' bass and jungle community under his label, would see massive exposure through a series of compilations titled Logical Progression. This first one in the series would be considered a landmark album in the genre. That all said, I might as well get the most glaring issue right out of the way - this album is long. Running at almost two and a half hours, it dwarfs Goldie's Timeless by comparison, and I already thought that record was long. Granted, I do appreciate the focus on vibrant ambient textures throughout, with occasional embellishments like the sounds of wildlife incorporated into Bukem's own "Demons Theme" or the slick, empowering rapping from MC Conrad's remix of PFM's "Western", or the sublime vocals against the watery synth backdrop of Seba & Lo-Tec's "So Long", or even that eerie saxophone motif that closes out Ils & Solo's "Solutions." It's worth crediting Bukem for arranging and mixing the tracks in such a manner that they seamlessly transition from one to the next for each disc. It certainly makes the experience pleasant to have in the background, whether raving at the club or working at the desk. But as far as a full listen for engagement, it's a tad difficult when, again, this album goes for so long with such a repetitive use of breakbeats and light textures, even if I do hear some variance. At the end of the day, Logical Progression was an intriguing underground find to listen to. It's definitely worth taking a break between discs, although more power to you if you wish to listen through in one sitting. I can't deny how worthwhile this compilation was in gathering some genuine talent in such a niche genre.

Only 2.5 stars? C'mon guys 4/5 to up the score

loved every second of this well worth the runtime

16/1001 Logical Progression - LTJ Bukem/Various Artists (1996) [Original 20-track mix with Pharaoh and After Hours] Well, this is certainly one way to find out that I enjoy atmospheric/liquid D&B and Jungle. When I finally figured out which version to listen to, which was a challenge all on its own, I saw the 2.5hr runtime and genre tags and dreaded it. I had a busy day at work so threw it on to mostly be in the background, but was thrown off completely. I think a lot of the contemporary D&B I've heard has skewed the genre in my head, and I did not realise it could be so clean and lush. I thoroughly enjoyed this front to back and, surprisingly for a 140 minute album in this space I did not want it to end. I'd happily listen to this all over again during long travel or during a period of intense work, or while playing a PS1 racing game. ★★★★½

Enjoyed this. Reminded me of Orbital. Good chill out music.

Despite the absolute fiasco that is trying to deduce which version of this album is the correct version, the fact that I listened to the wrong version, that this shouldn't even be eligible for the list because it's a compilation album, the fact that it's an LTJ Bukem album only by name as he owns the record label featuring the actual artists who contribute to nine of the ten tracks on the wrong version, and sixteen of the twenty tracks on the correct version, and chose to release the compilation under his own moniker, and that I was almost duped into listening to the wrong version of the album thrice over because of the two continuous mixes at the end on Spotify, what did I actually think of the wrong version of Logical Progression? ... it's a pretty solid drum & bass / jungle album, and something I genuinely would revisit. As a neurodivergent, I often default to this sort of music when I'm experiencing sensory overload or burnout as it does good things to my brain. This did good things to my brain. It also measures up quite well production-wise in comparison to several other similar albums I've had so far, and there was plenty enough variety from track to track for it to remain interesting; often an issue with these sorts of albums, especially when they typically err on the lengthy side. I'm going to assume that the correct version of the album provides a similar experience to what I listened to this morning, so I'm rating it four stars.

Too long but it is good

Cracking stuff, bought it the week it came out, magical memories

Imagine being a monkey rolling in a ball to this

this is from something idk what

The definition of "locked in"

Clearly we don’t have enough junglists on this website. A great compilation by a true pioneer in electronic music

good road trip music.

this is, in fact, on spotify

needed to listen twice. this is the music i will listen to when ive travelled around the world, learned with buddhist monks, my 9th eye opened, accomplished all my life goals, and am old maxing out my hobbies. i see my future LTH Bukem and it is bright.

Nice jungle album. Good background music

Reminds me of something I would have heard on the little machine at Natural Wonders in the 90s.

I didn't get a chance to listen to this yesterday, so listening now. But I don't know if I'll listen to the whole thing. It's 3 and a half hours! Oh the last 2 tracks are an hour each wtf. lol NGL this album abeit rather lengthy, has been a super chill background ambience. 4 stars

Klasik ranog atmosferičnig drum n bassa

I left the album on repeat as I did chores. Love some jungle beats. And the rest was nicely mellow. 4/5

So I’ve ranted about these house music albums all project long. Maybe it’s cold rainy day walking around Cambridge or just happy it’s Friday and I’m not under a work pressure but this was actually enjoyable in a background music sort of way. The variety of instruments pressed my headphones and I am making note to come back this one in the future if I ever need to test my sound system. Really a 3 but I’m going to add a point to aide in filtering later. 4/5

I really liked this album. I like listening to this 90's EDM while working or sometimes doing things around the house, as it is almost semi-ambient but with enough interesting stuff to keep me into it. 2 discs is a lot to listen to in one listen, but I can't fault it for being a compilation and for most people only digesting one disc at a time. This album never was/is going to change the world, but it's very good and does exactly what it is trying to do.

Fantastisk Quesedillas Bakgrunnsmusikk

Kind of an amazing snapshot of 90s D'n'B that feels at risk of being lost to time. Can imagine this being such a key text for so many dance fans and artists, but also it holds up surprisingly well. Infectious and melodic as well as being a little atmospheric. Had a great time with this.

Good playlist to have on the background.

Authentic 'background' music, LTJ's original '96 compilation, available on YouTube rather than Spotify or Apple Music, is a classic of the British jungle sound, which means that what you get is something that is awakening & lucid, graceful & human. Those are admittedly superlatives, and I am not one to overrate the drum-and-bass genre, but if you commit to taking it in from the 'background' - that is, if you don't assume 'club banger' but 'out-for-a-stroll' - these tracks will creep to the foreground w/ unexpected taste & soulfulness. The record can't be perfect: it is simply too repetitive and unmotivated. Still, b/c it's halcyon rather than placid - invigorating instead of merely stimulating - it's got a special quality. I would not work out to it.

Good background music

As a complete package, this compilation album leaves a bit to be desired. But what's here is still really nice: the grooves are tight and rich, the tracks offer mostly a vintage feel but still feels (mostly) fresh 30+ years later.

Didnt listen to all of it cuz theres like 2 hours of this thing. Its a nice album, i like it very much. Listened to it on yt cuz ive seen people telling us not to listen to it on spotify. Also birthday album hehe

Enjoyed. 4/5

Trance music for the exact moment I needed to really concentrate in work. It does not hurt to admit that I'm currently reading "Futuromania: Electronic Dreams from Moroder to Migos." by Simon Reynolds, so I have an additional layer of sensitivity for 90s electronic music subgenres.

pretty cool i like breakbeats

Hyvää klassista rumpubassoa ai etttä

#16/1001 🇬🇧 I have this on CD but nothing to play it on. Went to the stream but as others have commented, its not the correct tracklisting. I loved it at the time and really enjoyed going back to this period. Saw some great DnB DJs in the mid 90s including Bukem, Peshay, Photek and Goldie. Best track from memory of the original: Demons Theme.

techno, space ship lobby

Top tier atmospheric drum and bass / jungle record. So much better than modern dnb. I would’ve given it 5 if it was on Spotify or a higher quality stream was available - the YouTube version was pretty low quality which was a shame.

Listened to the top comment and yeah this is really nice

Drum and bass at its finest. I’ve loved this mix for 25+ years and was thrilled to see it on the list.

I was not looking forward to three and a half hours of drum and bass. But this turned out to be a pleasantly hypnotic album to have on for the day. It’s funny - during the mid/late 90s when I was most into this stuff, I consumed a lot of it through various compilation albums. I never really thought of those as specifically curated albums. This is a bit of a horse of a different color I supposed. Either way - enjoyed it. Certainly more than I expected to.

That was a great album. I might pull it out for the 5-hour long group bike ride in the spring

Drum and bass. Great to have on the background

Really Good 9/10

Electronic dance jazz music that could have been in Sonic. Songs are a tad longer than they need to be but it's background music.

Not a huge DnB guy but this was chill and vibey. I liked it.

Mellow, ambient drum and bass today. Perfect for sticking on in the background while working.

You're telling me a drum fried this bass

I love a good D&B album, and this one is good for sure, but wow this is really really long. Roni Size is about the same length but I really gelled with every song there, this one has more of a background effect than Roni Size did, so it just seems like I'm listening to these songs for forever. Also technically is a compilation album but I guess they let it slide like they did for The Hives.

this was cool / very nice dynamic and chill music to study or work

Very cool compilation of jungle music. Would listen to while playing a racing game

Thankfully I actually have this album as it seems this either isn't on streaming sites (Qobuz) or what is there is utterly butchered and wrong (Spotify), hence the ratings and reviews on here are even worse than the d&b snobbery would have been anyway (given the poor ratings of Talvin Singh / Goldie). For me this was the perfect distillation of the genre into two distinct discs of mood and effects, with the second disc being a dj seamless mix and the first more varied individual tracks. Key tracks by PFM (I adore Danny's Tune), Links (aka Global Communications), Peshay and Bukem himself.

I have a really loud guy I sit near at work. This really helped

This is a cool mostly ambient/down-tempo electronic record, drum-and-bass-y. Reminded me of the famous internet radio station Groove Salad, so maybe this was even played there. I'm not sure why this record was picked over any other thing that fits into this same category - it's not clear to me what makes music like this 'good' I guess. But I did enjoy this and found it was good music to have on while I was working on something - the driving beat and lack of 'distracting' elements made this good focus music. I will probably put this on again for that purpose actually!

The Wikipedia track list doesn't match what is on Youtube Music, but I found a playlist that matches the Wiki track list so I listened off that. I really enjoy the atmosphere created in this album and is really nice to put on during work to just grind in excel. I stopped part way into Disc 2 because I got the gist and was ready for something else. I definitely get why this isn't everyone's cuppa, but this is something I can get down to in the right environment. Wouldn't put this on for a crowd though.

Lovely liquid

291/1089 - Very relaxing. Reminds me of playing Ridge Racer Type 4 and Super Monkey Ball. Make sure you listen to Logical Progression and not "Level 1" (or do both if you want more DnB)

Really solid background music, would totally throw this on again while working.

Started the Spotify listen and knew it was wrong. Found the tracks on YouTube and just enjoyed the jam. So freaking good.

this was a LOT of drum and bass. but honestly it was super good the whole time. it got tiring only due to length

Very interesting background music with a good beat, I enjoyed!

very cool. I think I might be a dnb guy maybe?

Really enjoyed this! I would say I'd listen again but the dead air from copy write is kinda annoying. Listened to while making Bubba, the third eye cat with wings.

I've always liked LTJ Bukem since Sunrain and Atlantis. I ended up grabbing Progressions 01 from this recommendation.

Depends on your tolerance towards 90s UK Electronica beats. Luckily, I happened to grow up listening to stuff like this and loving it. So, while it was tiring, it was still a good time.

A consistent Drum & Bass Album from Start to Finish.

Gott shit. Alvöru jungle dæmi sem dregur mann á klúbbinn í níunni.

Liked this worth seeking out the original version (not sure why Spotify got it wrong?). Ground breaking at the time, sounds less radical now but still holds up well for a 30 year old album

After finding the YouTube links for the actual album (thanks to a fellow reviewer comments 🙏), this was much better than the "Level 1" version that was on Spotify. Despite the 2+ hours runtime, I liked it, decent beats, drum & bass!

4/5. Aangename lichte jungle en D&B

Some of the finest zone-out music I’ve heard.

Not normally into EDM but that took me to another place

Pretty great. I did a lot of yoga to this

Very unique meditative album

Favorite Track: Night Train

as i write this i still have like a half hour left in this album, but unless they stop putting ambient pads on top of breaks anytime soon i think its safe to assume the last chunk wont shift my opinion too much. all i can rly say is that this is a lengthy but remarkably consistent dj mix...i feel like just about every track is good enough for me to take notice of it at least once even as the lengthy runtime makes my brain start to ooze out of my ears a little. the more club music i listen to the more convinced i become that autechre never stopped making club music, they rly have been my main way into a lot of this stuff...confield is basically just this with extra steps

this is just not a 5 star album. what a masterclass of an album for the drum and bass scene in the 90's. whilst it's long length at a bit over 2 hours, it doesn't have a bad moment throughout it's whole listen. i love the genre - and have made some myself, so it's a cool listen to see what the "best" of the genre in the 90's was like. solid 9/10 album.

Great background music. Kept me driven while doing data analysis

super chill and fun dnb. i really liked this album for background music

This is OK as an ambiance, but its need to be included on this list is debatable and polarizing because of the inherent conflict between active and passive listening. There's no way anyone should or realistically could give this album their full attention for two hours. So, it's then, by necessity, relegated to mere background music. And that's too bad because there's good stuff here - just not much you'll be able to hold onto with a single listen - and it's far too long for multiple playthroughs when you've literally got 1,000 other albums competing for your time. Not sure how to score this. I enjoyed it, but its core characteristics make its being on this list seem flawed - which, I suppose, really isn't its fault but the fault of the challenge designers. Bottom line: if I bought this, I wouldn't regret the decision. And while I wouldn't likely listen to it from start to finish very often, I'd also not be upset if a few tracks made it into the greater shuffle.

This is a tricky one to rate. I guess the Spotify version isn’t the original album, and you have to find it in YouTube. I did not have time in the day to listen to both of these albums, so I took a small sample size of both. The version on YouTube is significantly better, and was a great vibe. I will go back and listen to this in full. It set a pace, and I was enjoying the world. I kept thinking it would be a good soundtrack for Buffy and Faith to listen to while slaying vampires, and clubbing all night. You know the episode. Listening to the Spotify after, I felt underwhelmed. It seemed so muted compared to what the original version is. Since it is believed the original version is the YouTube one I’m going to give this an optimistic score, even if I haven’t listened to the full album yet.

drum and bass!

Gewoon fatoe wel kapot lang

The 90s were peak popular culture and smooth, hypnotic drum & bass is proof of that. Fantastic collection.

Very enjoyable breakbeat/DnB.

3.8 I'm scoring based purely on the music, very AFX'y with some jungle in there, perfect to work to, but I don't really understand why it's on this list, as as far as I'm aware it's a compilation album? Unless I've found the wrong thing.

Шёл и слушал с удовольствием, как раз музыка для впадения в транс на прогулке.

My jaw dropped when I saw this pop up on my screen! For some reason, I didn't know this was on the list. LTJ Bukem has seen some newish success thanks to the advent of jungle officially being cool again, and the stellar album covers of his two "Producer" projects. Im so happy an album with a continuous mix gets a feature - I really hope people enjoy that format as much as I do. I'm also so glad that the jungle side of DnB tempo music gets some love. I have no specific song highlights for this comp. It's just excellent music to coerce you into a zone, or be a backing track for any activity that requires focus. The repetitive breaks are so hypnotic when paired with the atmospheric synth pads that just fade in and out so easily. I especially love when a sub bass kicks in just for a little bit, it pairs so well with the frenetic drum patterns. Any other little sounds are vocal treats, like the occasional vocal loop in "Reflections". I love this music - it speaks to my soul and encapsulates so many feelings/experiences that go beyond words. Whether its the liminal early parts of "Above & Beyond" with its classic Amen break sample, or the more fluttery, layered "Senses"; this project brings to light such a cool sonic niche in the context of this overall list. If any of this music raised your eyebrow, then I think jungle and early DnB culture is such a worthwhile wikipedia deep dive. Learning about break sampling, the advent of the MC and the DnB jargon is super fun. I'd be lying if I gave Logical Progression a perfect 5, though part of me wants too. There's a bit of variation missing, even if that isn't the point. There's a few dinky cuts that go too long without being additive or subtractive in their sampling/instrumentation. But outside of those few nitpicks? Beautiful stuff. Soothing, hypnotic, and cutting-edge. Big ups selecta a STRONG 4/5 from me rudeboy

Decent drum and bass. Feels like I should be driving in Germany listening to this

This was a nice, meditative listen, perfect for working. Loved the tracks with the House music vocals and the loon-call samples. Wonder what other electronic music we'll get on this list.

Interesting to see some DNB on this list. LTJ Bukem is a fine pick to represent the genre, saw them play House of Blues Chicago in the late 1990s, met a woman there from Madison Wisconsin who knew the Onion people AND ALSO (I realized later) LOOKED JUST LIKE the young woman featured for years in the Onion's American Voices person-on-the-street column. Anyway, I know this is a compilation but still...

Could not sit still

Is this technically a compilation? If so, shoudl it be included? That said, it's pretty cool, epsecially those cuts that explore and loungier side of d&b.

Yeah, pretty good. It really takes me back to the late 90s era. I don’t know if I’ve heard this specific album before but was listening to similar stuff and recognise some of the tracks. I wouldn’t say it’s going to be any of your “favourite songs” but it’s good mood stuff. I imagine it would be good to go running too. Sometimes it’s so cool it can feel cold, but I would bung it on again.

I appreciate it's seminal status, but it never drove my foot tapping, head nodding.. more of a gateway album

Приличный ликвид днб, атмосферик днб, или как это теперь классифицируют в 2025-ом. Почему-то очень сложно с версиями этой компиляции только. Лучшая песня - Demon's Theme.

Very good.

Listen to this on a 2 channel system with no range - 2 Listen to this on a full home theater system with full range - 4. Such a contrast, this is an album that needs a good system to enjoy fully. A great listen in the right environment.

Good background music at work

Really liked this. I wasn't able to find or listen to the full double cd which probably worked in its favor a bit, but I wouldn't have minded a second hour.

Exactly the kind of music that I've been listening to lately and interested in making for the past few years. This was a really cool compilation record and I'm flying through the album. The one thing that I think could be improved with this genre is that I think there's an obvious expectation that people will be listening to this in some kind of edm club (not your typical rave, but a more chill sort of club I think?), and so there are really long sections where the music doesn't evolve enough aside from changes in the drum break patterns. Part of what makes this sound great is its meditative-like nature (I won't say trance because it's not quite that) so I don't mean for that to be removed, but I do find that this is a genre I enjoy more as a "lean-in" experience, where there are more defined structures and things borrowed from pop music as opposed to this repetitive "lean back" idea. Overall, this was really great. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I like this kind of music, but I did listen to the Youtube version which might be different.

Was ready to give it a 3, skip though a few songs and then move on. Something hooked me and decided now on my send listen through its moved up to a 4. No doubt after may repeats it would (will) be a 5

interesting range - I much preferred the instrumentals, but the rushing percussion and dynamic arrangements were a refreshing listen

Like it, very good gateway for me quick and electronic music. Like the slight jungle, house and dnb tones.

I'm ngl, the type of flow I got into while journalling to this album was insane. DnB jungle beat pioneers.

first listen very cool

Long electronic albums are risky territory, but luckily this is exactly the type of trancey jungle stuff that I love to put on while I lock in on writing or doing tedious/repetitive tasks. I enjoyed this and would play it again. Actually im not really sure if i listened to the right version, because the one on Apple Music has a totally different track list than the Wikipedia article. Whatever it was, i was vibing and “Jazz Licks” was easily my favorite track.

Nice...

Who knew drums would be this exciting

Three hours (Spotify) is openly hostile as an album length, but it's good work background music.

so 90s, so chill! great music to listen to while working

Love it a lot, much more than the previous dnb record, but obviously it’s over two hours long and im a 21st century boy so my attention span is not long enough to listen to 2 hours of music for the first time and and internalize everything that happens enough to give it an adequate rating after. I really love track 3 and I love that it’s called “Music” what a great name for a song

1996, bass and drums and soothing senthersiser sounds. This whole albums feels like a chill out evening, or just background during a focus session. The blend of rhythmic groove with atmospheric textures feels timeless. It's a Logical Progression from dancing to chilling.

This was cool, but I wanted even more frantic and frenetic

actually good

Deep gratitude to the reviewer, who posted the YouTube link to the original record. It took me ~3-4 tracks to realize that I actually bought this CD set, while passing through London, back in ‘97. I like it better now. This was an interesting chapter in the evolution of club music. This was the bridge between the famous DJs in big clubs and kids spinning records in their basements. Techno went from a highly social experience to something much more introverted.

Very confused because the track listing on spotify is much different than what is listed on wikipedia. But whatever I listened to was pretty cool and jazzy drum and bass music.

Logical Progression - LTJ Bukem (1996) If I listened to both mixes of this thing and somehow still missed something I'm gonna be fucking pissed That said, a very nice little DnB album. I love this simpler and more laid back style from this time period. reminds me of a lot of soundtracks from the PS1 era of gaming. Hard to really rate each song individually since I just had the full mix on with Spotify, though I will say I preferred the vocals version over the instrumental.

Jungle, drum and bass. Música electrónica instrumental. Está bien para trabajar. Un 4.

i really freak w this

Cool background slow paced dnb

Cool lofi

Technically a DJ Mix than an album. While a few of these songs are by LTJ Bukem and they're all curated by him, Logical Progression features a healthy mix of DnB producers from his label Good Looking Records. On the surface, this seems like a standard DnB mix with some jungle influence, but you'd be missing the bigger picture. Indeed, LTJ Bukem was a key figure in cultivating the atmospheric drum & bass genre, bringing it to prominence in the late '90s. This sound would become a popular at the turn of the millennium, as the sleek and chilled out vibes of Logical Progression felt well-suited for Y2K. I'll concede that this mix is a long and somewhat arduous listen if you're not already keen on the style of music, but I found this to be a mellow listen all the way through. It helps to follow the tracklist as if it were the original two-disc release, taking a break after the song Horizons and coming back later for the other 10 tracks. To this extent, Logical Progression is a smooth and enjoyable foray into the best of atmospheric DnB.

Didn’t listen to all of it but I’d probably revisit this for concentration music

Love this sort of shit, LTJ Bukem is a pioneer

Very long album but worth the listen - 4 stars

At first I though "meh, another ambient electronic music album". But then the energy hit me, and I realised I was working non-stop for an hour, while shimmying in headphones by my desk. Good stuff.

Day 57 - Oct 24, 2024 Mario Kart music, but I like it (i think i am autistic) 4/5

There’s a certain thing about this album. It’s a two hour long compilation album with twenty songs. It’s not an easy listen for sure, haha. The songs included are nice, they really are. It’s just that since this album is so long, and considering the song lengths, the songs can start to feel the same as it goes on. I feel that these songs would work more as individual songs. These worked really well as background music during work though. I liked most of the songs here, I just don’t think I’d sit through two hours of this again. It gets a bit tiring. I still love the vibes this brings though, this is a straight vibe. If you like electronic stuff, and don’t mind something this long, i’d recommend this. While some tracks may be better than others, there’s defiantly good electronic stuff to be found here.

Strange to have a compilation album like this, but I already rock with music like this. Not even sure I listened to the right album tbh

Danny's Song was my favourite. Long album, but good background music.

Cool ambient oriented electronic music, without being too formless or too dance oriented.

Whatever this compilation on Spotify is (starting with a boring track called Destiny), it seems to be a bunch of other completely random tracks that are not this album. Went and found a playlist starting with Demon's Theme which was better. Since Horizons is apparently a key track and is not on streaming anywhere it's probably best to seek this out on YouTube. Ah here we go. https://youtu.be/m7sIUXSrVoU?si=QkqV40fnV1B6tmg2 (Some PFM tracks are muted presumably due to copyright claim but this is the best I could find) Strangely One and Only is available on Spotify. I cast it to my TV while I read Harley Quinn comics. Definitely would have sounded better on my speakers but what are you going to do when Spotify throws a curve ball? Really enjoyed the build on Music. Less fond of Peshay vocal tune but that was still alright. To be honest this is all pretty good. Some of it really good. I wish it wasn't such a faff to play. I'll be looking for similar quality stuff now I've reconnected with this kind of shit. Definitely excellent to work to, especially coding. Might see if I can seek out a download I can easily stream to my speakers. Far too long to be faffing with vinyl. Went straight to the Producer series after it finished.

Who doesn't like break? (Apparently a lot of people)

Lekker album, divers genoeg om interessant te blijven, en gewoon echt goed in z'n genre.

Great stuff. I wasn't expecting to be reminded of Hiroshi Yoshimura's album 'Green' when I got this DnB generation, but it was a pleasant surprise. Very energetic while remaining soft and melodic, I'll most likely be listening to this one again.

Got into this, somewhat

Quite liked this one once I was able to find it on YouTube

The political ads on YouTube sucked (album not on tidal) but overall I'd say they were worth it

I really enjoyed this. Very chill in a way that avoids being boring.

That was pretty good. 90s D&B is a huge favourite

Is this “jungle” … I turned off my ears the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I hated this shit. I’ve since dried up, but somehow, this hits most of my juicy spots today. Well, the ones that are left. I think there’s an underlying rhythm current in these tracks, that if you can identify those, at least subconsciously, it’s enjoyable. If you can’t, it’s just a lot of random clatter. I liked this a lot and was able to put it on, let it play in the background and pound through some tasks that I’ve been procrastinating on. That in itself deserves at least one extra star.

LTJ Bukem’s “Logical Progression” created an atmospheric chill and established drum and bass sound alongside Goldie’s “Timeless.” “Logical Progression” is a little too even, though, only occasionally shaking you out of the reverie it envelopes the listener in. Because of that, it fades into the background too easily. Maybe that’s ok if you’re blissed out in an altered mental state. (This is the sound I associate more with MDMA, not the Madchester indie pop janglings of The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays.) But what hurts this album other than its backgroundiness is that it’s a compilation. They’re not all Bukem’s songs. And for a DJ set at the club that’s fine. But for a greatest albums list? It’s super influential, but where is the line between a mixtape I make for a friend and a mixtape a DJ records?

Not an album for the faint of heart, sure. Not only is it long (over 75 minutes), but it is dense and demanding. But at times, very moving and beautiful. I'm sorry your music can't be spoon-fed to you all the time. Sometimes, you have to work at it! I can't pretend that I know anything about drum and bass (or electronic music at large) and I will sympathize with anyone who has a tough time appreciating it, since I often get caught up in what I'm supposed to be doing while listening. The genre (or family of genres) was literally designed with dancing in mind, but have you ever seen anyone dance to drum and bass? What are you really supposed to do here, other than nod to the beat? It's a bit too esoteric to inspire dancing, at least from human beings. But jellyfish? I can see it. A-

Rad album, ludicrously ass to piece together across music platforms but that is not its fault, just an annoying aspect of the industry. Cool production though, feels very 90’s in a good way.

This is terrific music. If I still owned restaurants, this would be the soundtrack.

Goddamn i love that sound, but songwriting is so weak on this album. Still it anyway.

V good

I like this! I am surprised there are so many people hating in the reviews. 4/5

Awesome collection of 90s DNB. Spacey af.

This is not my kind of music at all, but I like it! At times this sounded like Mario Kart soundtrack music, at other times I felt my body moving along to the gast beats. Clocking in at 3.5 hours, it's a little indulgent. Bottom line: if music makes you move involuntarily, it must be good.

So after "Logical Progression" had been sitting on my unrated backlog for over a year. I spent some time in my current pause to hunt down this album, as it's not currently on spotify or youtube in full. Was it worth it? Could I identify a track that was on the original release versus whatever "Logical Progression Level 1" is? No... But after listening to over 140 minutes of Jungle is it bad? Also no... It's probably one of the more listenable D'n'B albums on the list. Accept it for what it is, after a while the stockholm syndrome will kick in, and it will be over before you notice. One day you'll be able to impress people at parties with your overly detailed opinions about the mid-90's British dance scene.

one of the best dnb records ive heard

I love above and beyond, didn't know about this project

Excellent for listening to when getting things done. Studying, working, cleaning. Not a huge fan of the genre as I prefer music I can sing along with, but it's pleasant & energetic.

I really like the drum-n-bass sound as a whole. very PS1. Goddamn you, Spotify, you have the wrong album. Demons Theme does sound super iconic. The vocal tracks are usually super well done. This whole thing cover to cover was work though.

What a great collection of 90s drum n bass.

I tried to find most of this album but not everything was available. My statement is this: for a genre I never listen to I love it when I hear it. Just plays in the background, perfect focus music. Would never ever dance to this. What this music for? I don’t know. I kind of love it. Maybe this not Roni Size was the five star d and b album for this list?

Whyy is the tracklist Not the same But the name and album cover are?… “Demon’s Theme” is a “classic”, “MusicHound Rock: The Essential Album Guide” claims. But it isn’t on the Apple Music version… I believe the only other album I failed to listen to in its entirety was Throwing Muses, and I’ll be damned if I can’t find the 2 hours, 22 minutes and 32 seconds of this ultimate in “hip cafés, hair salons, and fashion stores” music (that’s the 1001 Albums book talking, I’m not being snide). Edit: someone finally uploaded the full Throwing Muses album on YouTube. Imma right some wrongs, listen to that in the meantime. Edit 2: found Logical Progression in like 5 minutes, I don’t support piracy so definitely don’t go to the Internet Archive I think it's no small praise that I didn't hate myself after listening to the full thing (I heard the 2 discs a few hours apart, though). I don't have much experience with D&B or jungle, but I did enjoy Orbital & Aphex Twin on this list, which LTJ Bukem's compilation here isn't too far removed from. The hi-speed rhythms may be relentless, but the intensity varies greatly, from the pounding intro ("Demon's Theme") to the ambient, nature sound-infused "Pharaoh". It's music for studying. It's music for driving. It's music for enjoying a freshly brewed coffee while rebuilding a village in Minecraft, like I did. May 4th, 2024

v v v long

I liked the music...... it could have been shorter. ;)

I like jungle and it had me hooked for a good hour and a half, though by the last thirty minutes, I felt like I had enough. Still really enjoyed it.

Electronica but more Drum and Bass focused, can see the clear progression from Jungle to DnB here and a great listen

Turned out to be a great rainy Monday drive in track. Excellent percussion

Various albums it seems but the one I listened too was decent.

This is the kind of electronic music that I enjoy, a good mix.

7/10 pretty cool jungle/drum n bass album I dig it :)

I'm not a fan of, and not knowledgeable enough, to have a decent opinion. That said, the previous album was Street Life by The Crusaders and anything is a masterpiece compared to that drol of an album.

Was dreading listening to 2 hours and over of Drum’n’bass but it was actually quite pleasant - especially as focus music. Maybe the general sound of it is a bit dated enough that you wouldn’t want to blast it out of your car but in headphones while running or working it’s pretty good. It’s varied and atmospheric and keeps you interested for its duration.

I already have this album saved to my chill playlist, so I must have liked it before :) It's great background music for working. Night Train was one of my favorite tracks, but I really enjoyed the whole album. It's not groundbreaking or deep, just an enjoyable listen. 4

This one surprised me. I am always on the look out for great instrumental only albums. This one was good. The drum tracks and repetitiveness were very 90s/00s but it wasn't enough to be off-putting. I will likely listen again when I am reading or working. 4/5

Kind of break beat electronica. Not bad, nice ambient music. I would listen to this again. Later in the album is break beat drum and bass.

Don’t chuck out sub genres based on a really quite prejudice view of the full genre. Thank you project overlord for finding me a dnb genre I can really appreciate! 4.0

damn i didn't expect a dnb album here out of all places...! as someone who frequents the genre when i can i know that ltj is one of the greats. this album is a massive 2-disc collection full of juicy dnb from the era where it shined the most. crazy drumbreaks paired with atmospheric pads and weird samples... what more could you want? my only gripe is that these songs are wayyyyyy too long,, plus when you have 20 or so tracks, this makes for a huge huge album. if it was a little shorter i would rate it higher.

I’m sure many people appreciate how well produced this is, how precise the playing is (?is there a human in there?), how you could dance all night to this if you had the right dose of X…but it’s just not what I’m into

Liked it more than I thought I would. Bomberman Hero vibes.

Favorites were "Night Train" and "Music"

I really enjoyed this in the hot sunshine, it went with the weather. I'm aware that the background beat was repetitive throughout but I still enjoyed it.

this won't be for everyone, as it's very 'simple' if you want to call it that on the surface. underneath however, is a mesmerizing DnB album that can be played today and would still be very welcoming.

of course I am biased, but I really like this album. it's not something I'd actively sit down and listen to--most jungle/dnb isn't for me--but nonetheless it makes for excellent background sound for me. it does get samey when you really look at it, but I think that exemplifies my enjoyment, as it allows me to really just zone out of distractions and into work when listening to it though, demon's theme clears the entire rest of the album. that song's a masterpiece of its time

I actually enjoyed it a lot, good background music

Surprised to find this here, but enjoyed it. Less so as something to just listen to, but as an accompaniment to working, it was fine

I wasn't sure I liked it for the first few tracks but then I put it in the background while I was working on my vector database and found it to be pitch perfect for AI development work.

Jungle, drum and bass. Música electrónica instrumental. Está bien para trabajar. Un 4.

Psy-trance in some ways. Just good background vibe music.

And it has the loon sample from E-MU Emulator II

Listened to this while playing Aeon's End with my partner against Prince of Gluttons. Lost the first game, won the second. I am a big fan of electronic music. In addition to playing piano, I used to dj for fun for a number of years. DnB has been one of those genres I just don't grok. It feels to frenetic to dance to...it is hard to mix...it wasn't as compositionally interesting to me. This album was probably one of the best DnB albums I've heard. I was bopping throughout without realizing the physical effect it was having on me. Totally great slice of the mid 90s scene, and definitely an album I'd return to again.

Logical Progression by LTJ Buken was a nice slow burn of an album, bubbled nicely under the surface and could easily provide the soundtrack to a late night house/trance club. It was full of soundscapes that could really take you places under the right influence. The way LTJ was able to pull together a nice cohesive compilation, and can see that over the years this has influenced the underground scene. Best: Senses Worst: Jazz Lick Note: I only listened to the first 10 songs as there were the extended mixes of the album for the remainder.

As with all of the dance records on here, this one feels better enjoyed not sober. But I will say, sober, that I could see myself really enjoying it. It's interesting that it's a compilation between a bunch of DJs, simply because it rolls together really well. I could find myself returning to it.

This is a compilation of some of the best jungle / DnB of the mid 90s. If you rate this low, then obviously the genre is not for you. Especially the people who say this all sounds the same. Obviously the genre has a lot of similarities, including pleasant spacey atmospheric synths overlaying fast abrasive beats. But beyond that, the songs have completely different styles, so I couldn't call this repetitive at all. According to my friend who studies to DnB all the time, she considered this much more high quality and funkier than what she's used to. The downside is that I found the majority of it to be pretty tame and minimalist. Minimalist is fine and has its place, especially between the tougher tracks on here, but it needs to be executed well. For example, "Above & Beyond" and "Music" are insane lush tracks that blow every other tracks here out of the water. They're so rich and full, reminds me of Aphex Twin. They show the potential the other tracks could offer, and gives the impression that some of the tracks feel quite flat in comparison, as if all they are is a beat layer and a couple synth layers all acting independently of each other. Minimalism just spotlights the flatness of many tracks too brightly. If they were all as immersive and three-dimensional, minimalist or not, I'd consider that a flawless DnB record. As it is, there is quite a bit to be left desired. Nevertheless, they're all really good DnB tracks, but I wouldn't consider them the extent of the genre, even in the mid 90s. Favorites: Solar System, Above & Beyond, Music, Jazz Lick

Tres bon vibe. Super pour la concentration. 4.75

Have we not listened to all this before. I am not really complaining, as I do enjoy this kind of sound, especially while working through my unending pile of grading...but is it that critical for me to listen to all these similar variations on the same electronic theme?

I’m not sure if I listened to the correct version of this or not, since the track listing on the Wikipedia page looks nothing like the track listing on what I listened to. But I think I got the gist. This was enjoyable… good music to work to as it had energy without stress. Really excels as background music to keep you going without becoming too distracting. Seems like it would also be quite useful at a fancy gallery opening or some kind of cool reception. At first was sort of not sure what to rate this, but ultimately I really did like this. There are many occasions I can think of where this might be a perfect soundtrack.

This is the kind of drum & bass I love. Thoughtful, emotive and melancholy almost but still driving and upbeat. So many bangers across this mix.

Hard to find a place to listen to the album unfortunately. Eventually found it on Youtube, but had some of the tracks removed due to copyright. I quite enjoyed it and would definitely listen again if it we easier to find.

Not something I would normally listen to. Pretty awesome.

Mega nice

Note - Spotify link goes to a list not consistent with track listing on Wikipedia. Closest thing I could find from Google was a Soundcloud of the tracks "remixed" by DJ Jo Public. Given this format, It's a pretty seamless mix. If you have a short attention span, this may all sound a bit repetitive, but listening to it as a whole was like tripping through space, lots of different ambience and texture. This might make good driving music or something in the background while working. Overall an enjoyable listen.

Nice chill vibes but does get a bit samey samey. Fave track: Universal Music

That is a hefty slice of coffee table drum & bass, and I'm here for it, in the abstract, but the inclusion on the list is pretty feckin irritating. If consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds then Robert Dimery evidently enjoys a palatial mind, utterly hobgoblin free! 😠 Anyway - I enjoy these vibes. Gimme some chilled dnb with occasional cetacean sound effects and I'll happily while away 2.5 hours. Fave tracks - I really liked both of the PFM tracks so should probably check out his albums. "Danny's Song" reeeeeeeally sounds like an Aphex Twin tune, right? Or perhaps I've just heard it on a different mix with a lot of Aphex Twin on it? 🤔

Three and a half hours of some of the best jungle and dnb I've heard for a long time.

actually really liked it compared to the album Timeless by Goldie that we listened to many 'a months ago and is listed in the description as the 2nd of two defining drum and bass releases of the 90s. I shared with you the only review I read on the global review list. "I know you want to slip your fingers down your knickers as soon as you hear the first note, but please resist temptation and let this musical journey rape you into submission instead. What an outrageous record, that drips its gooey semen into your ears and sits back and watches as you struggle to shake it out. Your ears are brimming with cum and there's nothing you can do about it."

all vibes

Was a heavy consumer of this type of music in the 90s and it still holds up pretty well. LTJ Bukem was on the high end of production quality and atmospherics, similar to artists like Talvin Singh and Omni Trio. I believe it was called "intelligent" dnb. Due for a comeback given the modern trend towards instrumental mood music.

Classic D&B cool beats 🎧

The compilation is warm DnB, but it's for more than that that I feel warmth toward it. Fun, the decay of a release like this over twenty years, especially of the DJ mix. '96 makes it a mix of my vintage, apparently pressed on CDs regionally variant, labelled inappropriately, etc. etc. etc. This year it sounds against it's twin like their tracks do: Fair to call them the same, fair to call them just different enough.

I liked this much more than I thought I would.

It was OK. A little too overproduced for my taste. Probably just a sign of the current times. If I heard this in the 90s maybe I would be more kind

Never heavily into drum and bass but this seemed like a good advert for the genre. Kind of jazzy.

This was good! A lot I enjoyed about it though it wasn't my favourite. I think I'll come back to this one when I want some ambient focus time music.

Quite good in parts - ambient DnB.

Bisschen für den background zum arbeiten geht schon - instrumental, bisschen drumnbase mäßig aber auch bisschen bossa Nova?

Techno

I actually like this kind of music and it was quite enjoyable as background music. It's like a 90s version of chill techno to vibe and study to. I only marked it down because it was pretty long and had repetitive beats on each track.

A weird to find compilation of various artists, this one felt out of place. It was almost two and a half hours of fairly generic 90s electronic beats, and nothing really stood out compared to other 90s electronic I've heard. Acceptable background music, but too long and nothing to write home about.

Nothing wrong with this. I’m not a particular fan of electronic but this is a fine sound, I’m just not in for 3.5 hours of it.

DnB has never been my favorite subgenre of electronica. Unfortunately, this album didn’t do much to rehabilitate my opinion. It never quite breaches the threshold of becoming annoying, but it gets close, and it isn’t all that interesting. —- About 2 tracks from finishing the album on Spotify, I looked at the reviews here and realized it isn’t the original track list. I (begrudgingly) listened to the album linked on YouTube; while it was marginally better than whatever’s on Spotify - less anemic, if anything - I still mainly stand by what I wrote above. 3?

altså det er vel så godt som sådan noget her bliver. meget energisk kontormusik

Fin brug af 2½ time!

Come album di sottofondo ci può stare, sarei indeciso tra 2 e 3 stelle, ma do 3 perché secondo me è un album abbastanza innovativo per l'epoca

DJ mix long ahh hell In all seriousness, this was a fun listen. I always love me some good atmospheric drum and bass, especially the OG stuff from the 90s. But like Timeless by Goldie, this is one I doubt I'll return to in full any time soon, and this one also didn't stay as consistently engaging as Timeless, perhaps because of its format as a DJ mix instead of an album. We'll call this a 6/10.

Definitely a bit long but overall a very good representation of the sound of jungle during this era. Wish it was more accessible to revisit. I enjoyed most of it but it does get repetitive.

fun electronica album to mix things up, i like it

Throwback

Here is another homemade category I've created for albums in this generator, titled "Where the hell's it at?". It's self-explanatory; some of these albums are literally difficult to find on the internet. I found two YouTube videos, each representing a different CD of this album which added up to nearly two hours, so I reckon' that's the album. Just like most other electronica DnB albums, it gives me "Bomberman Hero" vibes, and it overstays its welcome. The first CD was unique enough to enjoy, but the back half was just seemingly the same thing. Favorite Track: "Groove Therapy".

I am totally unfamiliar and unversed in this kind of DJ music. It sounds cool but I really need to listen to this more carefully and probably more than just a once through to better understand what I think about it. Certainly glad it was on this list so I could check out a new to me genre. I’m giving this a 3 because it’s definitely not bad. But I don’t think I love the genre even if it’s interesting

Drum and bass

very annoying to track down and listen to in one piece, otherwise vibey dnb. i do literally like it, but im clearly a little dnb racist because by the end i could barely tell one song apart from the previous one. Western (Conrad Remix) brought some vocals into the mix and it's kind of funny how it made it like a hundred times more dope, probably brought the score up on its own. very soft 3

I like it, once I found the real album? The fuck

Its a vibe. Probably good for a long road trip or focus time

Quite enjoy a bit of ambient music. Would make great background music for a fancy coffee shop or cocktail bar but otherwise probably wouldn’t find much use for it myself. 3

An odd choice. I recall this as ever-present at a certain type of gathering at the time, championed as 'intelligent drum&bass', which I always found rather insulting and dismissive, especially because it often seems to translate as 'vaguely jazzy and rather dull'. There's some good stuff in here, but also a lot of samey, directionless filler.

rustig technoachtig iets, best chill. zou in chilling on the extreme kunnen passen.

Es una mezcla de lo que me gusta a mi y tecno. Osea hay cosas que me encantan y cosas q no me gustan nada. Lo que tiene esta bueno igual, se que es bueno, pero no me encanta.

I love drum & bass but this one was just a bit too minimal and lacking in variation for me. Rating: 3

nice enough

Pretty solid dnb, nice for work or reading

Loses a point for length, but enjoyed it

Honestly not 100% sure I listened to the right version of this but I liked it

Drum and bass not really my thing but after giving it a chance wasn't a terrible listen. Can appreciate the groundbreaking nature of the work and inspiration for future genres.

A strange choice - over an hour of anodyne ambient.

I forgot how chill early dnb was. Ancient music with really fast drums, how does that work

Instrumentals 👍

So much drum and bass
