First time consciously hearing "Sympathy For The Devil" - boring and repetetive song in my humble opinion. Same for most of the rest of this album. Good Songs: "Street Fighting Man" and "Prodigal Son"

Album has its ups and downs. Definititely interesting to listen to. Best tracks: "Sock It to 'em J.B"and "International Jet Set"

I liked it very much. Most of the tracks are fun to listen to and i loved the use of the jazz flute on various songs. Best tracks: "Peace Go with You, Brother (As-Salaam-Alaikum)", "The Bottle"

A milestone!

Better than expected, but nothing I would listen to again. Tracks, that stood out to me: "April Skies" and "Cherry Came Too"

Paris 1919 is a pretty decent song.... and that's it.

Weird, but cool

The music itself is good, but I absolutely can't stand the vocals on this album. I have heard "Remain in Light" before and that album is overall so much better, than this one.

I really, really dislike this band. This album is even worse than the "loveless" trash I had to endure before. Normally I am very open ans positive for various genres, but shoegaze so far seems like a crime against humanity to me. It guarantees to put me in a bad mood. I think the art behind it is to make the most annoying sound as possible and this alone annoys the hell out of me. To say something positive: "new you" can nearly considered to be a song... just not a good one.

One of the best Albums ever

It was okay and I liked the vibe, but nothing too memorable. I would guess being the drummer for this band is no fun with the same beat throughout every song. Favourite Songs: "Under the Pressure", "An Ocean in Between the Waves" and "The Haunting Idle"

Pure relaxation. Nice!

The first part of the album was very good. The other half not so much unfortunately. One extra star just for the bass!

5 Stars easily. This one is a classic and my favourite Linkin Park album.

I fluctuated between 2 and 4 stars for this album... overall I didn't liked, but I have to admit, there are quite a few bangbangs on here. Sorry Radiohead. I really like some of your songs, but a full album not so much. Songs I liked: "2 + 2 = 5", Where I End and You Begin ... "Myxomatosis" is also okay.

I was disappointed with the first half of the album, but the second half saved it for me. One extra star for "Sweet Dreams"

Annoying artsy-fartsy music with no groove or whatsoever. I'm so sleepy. Wulle, wulle, wap, wap, kille, kille, klapp, klapp.

A record so heartbroken, that it felt comical to me after three songs. I couldn't help but to burst out in laughter for the rest of the album. Ballad after ballad after ballad after ballad after ballad after ballad after ballad And then finally one song to make you feel half alive.

Too "sexy" for me....

Not the best Black Sabbath-album.... but still Black Sabbath!

I was only familiar with "Fool's Gold", because of GTA San Andreas and wished, that more songs would be in that direction. But solid album nonetheless!

Cringe

A few tracks in I feared this one could be extremely annoying and meandering, but the vibe got really cool after a while. Not bad!

A very sweet voice, but too many same sounding lullabies for me.

Can't get fresher than this

Altough I like some later songs by Sonic Youth, none of them are on this album. I don't understand the purpose of this kind of "music" and really wonder, what it evokes in people, who can enjoy it. Unfortunately this seems impossible to me....

“Why?”

Ok, now THIS is showgaze, that I like! For me it is the first positive experience with this genre on this list. Unlike the complete ear rape from bands like "My Bloody Valentine" this one is listenable and interesting. I like the production and instrumental-action (especially the drumming!!) very much.
