an important hip-hop album, but not my thing - extra star for Gin&Juice though

Kind of boring & definitely misogynistic

Most songs are really very boring, nothing's happening. However, since I am not into hiphop, it was a bit better than expected (not much). The Shiznit and Gz and Hustlas are the best songs.

More lyrics about having one's balls licked than any other album (so far).

It's a paradox: you can focus on the groove to ignore the offensive lyrics, but if you focus on the groove you'll just go put on a Parliament album.

Not my cup of coffee

I listened to this years ago, in a car, with the windows open. Clearly, I missed a lot of the lyrics then. Let's just say this album isn't my jam, but it's got some nice beats and I can appreciate it. Gin & Juice is classic, and who doesn't like Snoop Dogg's voice? And, the vocal bits Warren G. contributed remind me how smooth his voice is. It surprised me to realize that this came out in 1993! Were they on the cutting edge with words like “be-otch” and “swole” because I don't think I noticed those in the common lexicon until almost 20 years later.

Doggy Style gets off to a strong start but starts to fade after a few songs. Lodi Dodi is just plain stupid. Next few cuts are very similar and run long. Picks up again with Ain’t No Fun and from there to a decent finish. The bits at the start or between songs are generally lame and annoying. That said, the album holds up with some listenable music and groundbreaking rap. L = (2.2*s) J = (2.2*s)

The music is great, but the lyrics are just immature and so bad. I have no respect for the misogynistic attitude and the crude and vulgar lyrics. This could have been such a great album.

Was a good album but didn't have much time to listen to it carefully but I appreciate some songs but I didn't succeed to get into it.

The actual songs sound nice but the lyrics and the skits are just cringe, which is a problem I have with a lot of hiphop albums from this time period. Ain't No Fun is complete garbage

While I don't listen to rap a lot some songs on this album are classics I couldn't have missed even if I wanted to. A lot of the songs I don't recognize are noticeably worse though. As I have said on other rap albums, me not having English as my first language makes the barrier to entry bigger since the song has to have a great beat/hook for me to give it enough time/chances to learn the lyrics and understand the deeper message that is often there in rap/hip hop.

29/1001 - Enough with the sex skits. That being said, the beats weren't bad (though a couple sounded like Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg which threw me off and the "Funky Worm" (moog saw-wave with some glide) is quite irritating). Just got to the end of "Murder Was the Case". Going down a point for that high-pitched tinnitus crap.

Musically, this album is pretty dope. It's such a great summer vibe, it's hard not to sway and nod. Lyrically, though... sigh. Like, I get why he became a star. He's got a unique flow and he's clever. But the misogyny is tiring. And I can see doing one song about partying, but damn a whole album?

This was an album I remember hearing constantly for a period in the Sophomore dorms at college. So there's some nostalgia there. Hard to deny Snoop's style and Dre's production. Incredibly dumb lyrics, though.

Mix of epic and cringe, 2.5/5 for me (rounded down to 2)

I enjoyed the beach, however subject matter, and the lyrics have much to be desired.

Production is funky as, musically this as interesting as any of the hip hop I've heard across 700+ albums of this challenge. But, maaaan... the lyrics... even if they're tongue in cheek I just... can't. And that's the most generous interpretation. At worst? Well...

Listened to snippets but not my taste even though I wanted to like it.

While I enjoy Snoop, the entertainer, and this early music was epic, it sounds so immature to me. A couple of classic songs with great lyrics and good beats - but all of the “b*****s”, ho’s, and “n****s” is just too much for me.

Good beats, good flow. It's just a shame that Snoop Dogg raps about three things in general: smoking weed, being sexist, and chilling with his homies. I guess the informality of it just being a sesh with your homies could be the strength of the album, but it is not a friend group I'd like to be a part of.

This album had a couple cool beats, but uninteresting rapping overall.

Does break my heart a bit to give this a low score, but I've never really liked the tone of this album. It's almost cartoonishly misogynistic and gross in a way that pushes it way over the line for me. I am usually not a prude, but god it just gets hard to listen to after the halfway point... On the plus side, Snoop Dogg is an entertaining character when he's not going in detail about how much he fornicates. If you can get past that more than I, it's a fairly laid-back West Coast rap record that reminds you of hip-hop's golden age. "What's My Name" is mostly absent of the tropes that made this album a slog to get through for me and it's really good. 5/10

I've fallen out of love a bit with the 'let's take a sample of an already great song and put some vocals over it' approach to music at the moment. This was good as background and probably sounded great at the time, but for me it hasn't aged that well.

I struggled with this one a bit, musically it was good but lyrically it was dated and I got bored with it half way through. Not bad but nothing spectacular, though Snoop Dogg would b e a coo! person to hang out with.

Pretty cool production and backing music, but Snoop's lyrics and cadence becomes fairly repetitive and redundant after a handful of tracks

The music is better than the lyrics but I think really you probably need to be a fan of this music to appreciate this album.

Crass, obnoxious but enjoyable in its pure absurdity. Snoop Dogg is a total caricature and, for better or for worse, you can’t ignore the bastard. This record is a bit too mundane for me, but ocassionally it caught me off guard with just how much it leans into its ridiculousness. Once that wears off, there’s not a lot here - just dated hip-hop employing the full gambit of genre tropes - but it’s a far from awful record.

Definitely seems like a product of its time. I don’t think it’s something I would put on again but I can understand the importance of this record at the time. I like serial killa, but as for the rest of the songs, yes I know his name is snoop dog, congratulations, it does not feel like a valuable lyric to be placed across the whole album constantly . Can say I am not a huge snoop fan

I enjoyed the upbeat of this gangsta rap, which is not typical for me since usually, the themes highlight more to my ears than the music, but the outdated lyrics hit hard on me this time, so I can't rate it with more than 3 stars. I know that this kind of album should be respected for its historical importance, but it's something that I will hardly listen to again (fully, at least) in the years coming due to its lyrics.

i dunno, man, i just don't really care about snoop. like, i get that this was a big deal, i guess, in its day and all, but...i just don't care, know what i mean?

I won't deny that the rhythm in these songs is catchy, but I have a problem with all the niggas here and niggas there, and the drugs, bitches and weed lyrics that just keep coming out of the speakers. Specially seeing how awful the situation is in the US for black people, I definitely think this music only adds to the problem. Kids listen to this shit and think "Hey, I finna be a nigga like Snoop!" next thing you know they're getting shot in the streets for holding. Some things in the world are just not necessary. I think, honestly, that gansta nigga rap is one of them. We enjoy it because it's dirty and foul, because he's singing about all the women he nuts in, all the bitches he gets on his dick. I honestly think our society doesn't need this.

Well - pretty much what I expected, typical sexist/racist/lurid hip hop. Somehow bits of it were slightly listenable.

Like a lot of this era’s rap it hasn’t aged incredibly well. The beats are pretty good. I’m on the fence as to whether I like Snoop’s voice.

Listening to this brought back memories but man, it also re-cemented my dislike for West Coast rap. The album itself is incredibly creative and playful, with Dogg just providing his chill vocals and smooth lyrics to a very unserious album. A different time, a different place for this kind of subject matter.

Some good parts but generally not enjoyable

Musically it's a pretty groovy record, and despite of the early 1990s release, it doesn't sound dated at all. These are the positives about the record. Well, the negatives outweigh the positives, since the lyrics are awful (lot of swearing, mysognistic lyrics) and overall it's a bit repetitive and same-y. I'd round it up at least for a 3 if not for the lyrics, but it's just a 2.

If you ignore ALL of the lyrics it gets some points for a good beat and general entertainment. Overall pretty repetitive....we won't get into the misogyny

Snoop Dogg has great cadence and charisma that’s for sure, but for me it doesn’t change the fact that the G-Funk sound isn’t all that hard hitting for me. For me, mid-90s rap was being led by the south, with acts like OutKast from Atlanta pushing much better storytelling into their songs than I got here from Snoop. Beats are cool but that can also be seen done better elsewhere. I have always just felt Snoop Dogg is at his best as a feature on Dr Dre songs, where the production punches harder.

Honestly as much as Snoop is an absolute legend, I found I didn’t really enjoy this album. Instrumentals were funky and tight as anything which I did enjoy. Snoop is an absolutely awesome dude but I’m not too keen on his stuff, and to be completely honest most rap in general. I hope that I’ll find some rap stuff within these 1100 or so albums that I can enjoy. 4.5/10

Monumental upon its' release, the debut from Snoop offers very little in 2024. Add on the low brow lyrics and skits, and this one is a drag to get through.

I didn't really connect with this. I knew a few tracks and there's some catchy ones but on the whole it felt a bit silly and talking about smoking, pussy and being a dogg.

Man I wish I liked this album. I truly do. It has great instrumentals and Snoop’s flow is good. It’s just so sexist and juvenile. They constantly refer to women as bitches and hoes and demean them. Now, don’t get me wrong I like a fair bit of sex in my rap songs. And I can take some sexism in the music if the album is a bit older (hell, I enjoyed the album in which Eminem killed his wife). But on seemingly every song? No. And this album is so immature. There’s literal sounds of pissing on the album (that play into a song about drinking, mind you) Eww no gross. 2.5/5 for the cool instrumentals, not for anything else

Tried to listen—too foul for me. Did listen to Gin and Juice as it was listed as Snoop Digg’s most popular. Based my two on that.

G-Funk was just never my thing. Gangsta rap, old-school hip-hop, etc are all much better.

Between this and OutKast, I’m just getting the confirmation that this genre isn’t for me! But I did enjoy this more than OutKast so that’s something!

It's a bit of fun but to be honest the greatest thing ever. A lot to do with Snoop's personality rather than the music I don't dislike it but it becomes boring after a couple of tracks.

Like other reviews, I very much enjoyed the music here but just can’t endorse lyrics that boast about violence against women. Hopefully Martha Stewart skipped this one.

Pretty standard Snoop Dogg. Gin & Juice is classic. Who am I is the one that sounds like Atomic Dog (George Clinton). Good album musically, but a little repetitive, most songs not landing for me.

Another "it wasn't as bad as I expected" album. I was surprised to like the rhythm of The Shiznit. "Ain't No Fun" felt like a cool R&B song (if I ignore a lot of the lyrics). Still, it's definitely not my kind of music and I would never choose to listen to Snoop.

I realize Snoop's debut album is considered by some as one of most important hip-hop/rap records for it's lyrical "realism" and for it's social-eco lifestyles. The problem is about Snoop's obsession with his dick and his bitches that "service" him who get treated like shit, is not my concern (or interest) and it gets tired very very quickly. I get it, rap is suppose to be about the power of men over women, black over white, chilling with their homies and shooting up shit cause their gangstas, but as far as my musical preferences, music heroes and social conscience go, Snoop is humping the f*cking wrong tree with me.

so, i’m in a conundrum. i really like his voice and flow, it’s chill and cool and the beats on top of that just make it sound so good. but then the lyrics are just the worst. just like all them old white guys being sexist and gross as hell, his over use of nigga and bitch really throws me off. maybe it’s cause i’m a black woman, but it just makes it hard for me to enjoy, and for that reason, it’s gonna be a low score from me tbh.

An album that's all over the place. Flows quite well often, but lyrically it's all over the place, between having a nod at Biggy lyrics to plain misogyny, glorification of violence and lyrics that almost seem to parody itself. I'd easily give it 4 if it wasn't for the lyrics.

Has two good songs. The Chronic is much much better.

I like some Rap (less gangsta), and the mainstream hits for sure. “Gin & Juice” holds up. I’m out on the rest of this, too repetitive and grating with all the language. I’m giving it a 2 just because I know it was relevant to the time. He does have the cool factor working for him, he would be fun to hang with, and somehow he was able to create a persona and strike a chord enough to enable himself make millions of dollars by smoking weed and partying his entire life. For those reasons, I ain’t mad at ‘em.

Album 353 of 1001 Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle Rating : 2 / 5 Don't really know where to do with this one. While I like Snoop as a personality and recognize his talent, I just can't fully support something that I feel brought nothing but negativity onto our nations youth. Hate to sound like a prude, but it is what it is. A fine album for someone mature but it is just one of many that brings nothing positive and a whole lot of negative to those who aren't (some adults included). Felt that way about a couple of earlier ones but didn't express it. To think people were complaining about Elvis. They had no idea of what was down the road.

Time is a goon. I guess the main reason why I took so violently against this album way back then was because, you know, Side A of The Chronic. This was hopelessly overhyped, overwhelmed by Mr Dogg’s murder trial, and smothered by the Death Row Records publicity. Anyway. I caught myself foot tapping and head nodding to this. Familiarity is a thing, even if it is the familiarity of deep dislike. Or maybe I’ve finally caught up with Mr Dogg’s elusive charms..

Don't usually like rap with the tedious swearing, misogyny, usually boring background and lyrics designed for men emotionally stuck at age 13. This album is redeemed by having real music in the background, a bit of humor, catchy funk music. I'll never listen to this again, but I'll give it a star or two.

You missed the mark on this 1000% I am torn on this album because the musicality and Snoops vocal style is phenomenal. I love the tonality, playfulness, and unpredictability of his rhythms. Based on that alone this album would be a 5. However, the lyrics the lyrics the lyrics. Ughhhh why? Misogynistic, overly sexual, and violent. I have to knock several rating points off for that.

A fun and funky record but it feels very juvenile due to the lyrics. The number of times talking about dicks and balls and bitches is a little much. I don't think I'd ever listen to this record again because the lyrics are just so bad. It's ironic too because today is international women's day hahaha.

I like Snoop fine enough as a sideman or secondary artist, but I personally don't think his delivery lends the best to a full album experience, especially since few of the guests really elevate the material. I also think that, with the exception of three or four songs, Dre's production here is a bit stagnant compared to The Chronic. My biggest gripe with this album, however, is that the humor and sexism have really not aged well. I know some people have had this complaint about other old-school hip-hop albums we've gotten, but I find this to be much more egregious than something like N.W.A, personally. 2.5/5

What wonderfully silly album art. Unless it's been cancelled, then whatever... The music and skits? Also had a fun energy about them that didn't seem to take itself as serious as some other rap albums may tend to do. "Ain't no fun" is a perfect example, then there are other sprinkles of levity like Pic-a-nic casket, etc. Snoop obviously has made a good career so is doing something right, so I respect that. It just isn't for me, although I think the "what's my name" track is pretty good. Favorite track "what's my name" 2/5

I can see why this album is important and how it could be on someone's list of favorites, but didn't do much for me. My review is a little jaded however because this simply wasn't what I wanted to hear today. I knew what I was getting myself into but it definitely lacked substance. On the positive, though. I do like Snoop Doggs vocals and delivery and liked the inclusion of Dr. Dre in places. Maybe I'll give more attention to this on another day.

Hey, remember when Snoop Dogg was considered "edgy" because he was gangsta? Guess what? That was 30 years ago. I'd like to try to dismiss some of these songs by saying "eh, it was 30 years ago." But there was good music that wasn't so... hateful towards women. I like Snoop's lyrical flow, the way his voice sounds so casual. The keyboard effects over the songs, great. But the lyrics he and the other people spit out... it got to be too much. It was too embarrassing to listen to. I'm wavering between a 2 and a 3. And I want to give it the benefit of the doubt, some of the songs were something big at one time. But... I just can't. In the 21st century, it's too hard to do.

five minuts are good, fiftythree too long

I hated all the white boys that loved this back in '93. It was a rock solid metric to weed out frat douchery. And it's another album that wallows in the violence/misogyny thing that I just haven't been able to get into. That said, the samples are pretty good. And that part in Who Am I where Snoop tells you that your woman likes him more because he's got the biggest nuts? Poetry.

Hip Hop is nothing for me. The album itself is a little bit more melodic so I will give it a 2/5. Did not like it.

I wanted to like this but it didn't do much for me at all.

I can easily see the appeal, and understand the impact on our culture, but the language is just not for me.

Some decent tracks in here. The production is interesting, but somewhat stale over the length of the album. Don't love the skits, and the rapping is pretty repetitive and straight up unoriginal at times (quoting other rappers in multiple places). Remember that the album is a product of its time. Some lyrical content is cringe, offensive and/or sexist. Some of it is okay. It's not for me. But if I was invited to hang out with Snoop, I wouldn't say no. Overall: 3/10

Watch out, we have a badass here. O_O. The more I listen to rap, the more I am convinced that there is no such thing as a good rap album. Gin & Juice is good. The rest was tiresome. Dude leans too hard into his name, cussing and treating women as objects. 2/5.

This is more listenable than some of the later gangsta rap … probably because it’s early 90s hip-hop. There’s still a lot of misogyny in the lyrics though so some of the songs are offputting.

Got some nostalgia vibes since this was the first rap album I ever bought when I was in High School. Some catchy tracks, but I don't see myself ever wanting to listen to this album again. 2/5

Not really my jam. Lyrics are hilariously bad but I feel like that's the norm for old school hip hop and rap. If I just focus on the backing tracks it's kinda catchy, though.

I get why this was a hit album on release. Compared to other classic albums the songwriting is more thoughtful. There are more melodies, song parts. I would still not return to this album for great songwriting though.

Maybe it’s the Martha/Snoop memes and resulting cultural saturation, but I’m getting tired of Mr. Dogg’s schtick. ‘Gin and Juice’ is the only notable track on here, and the rest just kind of existed without declaring or demanding much musically.

At the second position-themed record in as many days, the electronic squeals are just as West Coast as The Chronic's. Snoop's debut isn't a bad record though it lacks standout songs on top of a pointed whole. Recommended for driving.

While Snoop Doggy Dogg is a good rapper with a very smooth even flow, it's hard to rectify the content of his stuff in my eyes. I get that all of the was unfortunately kind of normalised at the time but the content of the lyrics, heck even the album cover makes my skin crawl a bit. Same applies here that has applied to Dre and Jay Z.... More of the same gansta rap tropes zzzzz I think this is probably more light hearted than Dre and the beats are better but still feels very dated now. He has a good voice and flow but the lyrical content bores me. Gin and Juice is a great track though and pretty nostalgic.

Man, that did NOT age well. Snoop's flow is undeniable but his lyrics are utter garbage. Just trash. The beats are a bounce, though. But these lyrics and those truly horrendous skits... geeze. It took killer beats AND Snoop's iconic flow to redeem a single star from that garbage.

I'm sure Snoop Dogg is cool to hang out with and everything, but I just don't enjoy the G-Funk sound - it's as cartoonish as that tacky-ass cover.

If the beats were fun or the lyrics clever, maybe I could have been distracted from the relentless misogyny, but instead I'm listening to gems like "with your wrinkled pussy, I can't be your lover", "I don't love you hoes, I'm out the door", and "guess who back in the motherfuckin' house with a fat dick for your motherfuckin' mouth" with zero chaser. An entire album of “bitches and endo” is a lot. I appreciate the groove of the west coast sound, but the lyrics are just too much. Every single track. I did not need to hear this before I die.

I feel bad for yesterday's jibe at Dylan's cover for Music from Big Pink, when the cover of Doggystyle is much worse. Everyone agrees that the skits are the worst part of any rap record, but imagine that the skits were also on the sleeve! And the skits were the songs as well! Everything just juvenile skit. Or it would be juvenile, if it was sincere, but this so patently irksome by grubby design. Deathrow is only interested in making money by aggravating parents. The west coast checklist of drugs, sex, guns, and money is misleading. It is drugs+sex+guns=money=drugs+sex+guns. The performance of the most adolescent posturing sells and that profit can keep you adolescent forever. A shame, really, as the beats are bouncy and the pitchshifting keyboards remind me of Say You'll Be There by Spice Girls. 1 Couldn’t listen to this in the house. Even after the child fell asleep in the car I couldn’t listen to this on our drive. I was troubled by the idea of this stuff seeping in to her subconscious. This is the problem with my break from work - I lose the commute; an hour every day where I can listen to anything at a decent volume. I ended up playing ‘Doggystyle’ in the car park outside the child’s ballet class the other day. I felt right scummy. This is almost impressively one-dimensional, one-speed (about 90 bpm) puerility. It was a real struggle to get through, even compared to some of the longer rap albums from more thoroughly despicable characters that we have endured so far. ‘I’m true to the style on my behalf/ I put the bubbles in the tub so I can take a bubblebath’ (Lodi Dodi) I may still use that for regular citation at bath time though. 0.5/5

Something that I realized while doing this project is I really don't like Hip-Hop. In fact, the more I hear it, the less I like it. I question what the point of it all is. Of course, there are still some Hip-Hop that I enjoy, but those are either something fun and light-hearted, or something completely different and leftfield. This is none of those things. This is the most putrid form of music imaginable, with nothing of note to say both musically or lyrically. All the more egregious that it's as popular as it is. Or is it? There's no denying Hip-Hop has a big audience, but from my real world experience, it seems to be as niche as Metal is, and we don't see Metal topping the charts nowadays. And ever since USAID ended we don't really see much Hip-Hop on the charts either. I wonder why that is? All I'm saying is if Jackson Pollock was a psyop...

This album is so overrated it’s crazy. First off, all of the best parts outside of gin and juice are usually OTHER ARTISTS on this album. Snoop Dogg is routinely the most boring and uninteresting aspects of this album. Sincerely if it weren’t for gin and juice this album would age worse than milk. It’s both stuck in the past while also being horribly held down by its dumbass creator, who again, regularly is the worst part of the album. Uncle Snoop can take his doghouse and go the fuck home.

This sucked. Little bit better than The Chronic but that means nothing. He just wraps about killing, drugs, and sex and sex and sex. He has a one dimensional one track mind like all the other gangsta rappers. I cannot even remotely understand the appeal or why this is supposed to be a masterpiece.

The gangsta, bitch and ho's crap, the ridiculously over the top profanity and use of the n word....it's so old and was tired 30 years ago. Don't care about the production quality or the fact that he's now a tame celebrity who is accepted by the masses, I just despise this music and all of the albums like it that came before or after.

Any time over the last 35 years I could have listened to this album. I never did. Because I thought it would be ... more or less like this. Yuck. So much talent, such well produced musical settings ... misallocated to the creation of this juvenile twaddle. The Slick Rick pastiche demonstrates real imagination. But, like the music of Slick Rick, tremendous creative ingenuity is deployed in the service of a vision that is at best problematic.

Ok. As someone who doesn’t usually like hiphop/rap, this album really opened my eyes. I did NOT like it at all. I expected something very good and introspective, OR a groovy, funk-like vibe. I got neither. The only highlight through the album was its beat in some tracks. Everything else…no. It felt vulgar and a little bit crude, without meaning behind it except its face value, which isn’t much. The lyrics and beat hold little to no meaning, the sheer amount of cussing was useless and unnecessary, and felt superficial in a way that was not interesting. Although not my favorite, it had some very good concepts in theory. Gin and Juice had a good beat, and Tha Shiznit held a good introductory idea. Both are not used to their potential and are poorly executed. This album had potential, but did not surface to its worth and hype. I hear so much about this album, and the hullabuloo is not deserved from what I heard. Maybe it holds emotional significance for some—but not for me. Additionally, each song felt eternal. 5 minutes was a lot for many songs, and even 3 was much too lengthy.

What exactly should anyone expect from an album titled Doggystyle, slapped with an explicit lyrics warning and featuring genuinely crude, over-the-top cover art? I'm no prude by any means, but the lyrics still cross a line for me. The nonstop barrage of profanity, racial slurs, and graphic content, all piled on top of those G-funk drum beats, makes it genuinely tough to listen to for extended periods. It's completely off-limits around kids. You might play it in the car, but you'd better keep the volume low. Earbuds work, though belting out the lyrics could get awkward (or risky) in public. Even the clever George Clinton samples and funky production can't fully redeem it for me.

I know this will come as a shocker but I did not enjoy this album. I actually found the music tracks catchy and fun to listen to. I just can’t stand the misogynistic lyrics and the unrelenting f-bombs. I listened to the complete tracks until I got to track 9 - “For All My…” - the chorus of which finished me off. Can’t tell you anything about the remaining tracks. I was done.

A genre that eschews melody, harmonic progression, and musical expressivity (all of the musical elements being performed soullessly by computers) leaves us with rhythm and lyrics. The small-minded, ego-centric lyrical themes bore me. Snoop has since demonstrated an ability to be inspiring, generous, and SOOO funny. It leaves this sounding exactly like what it is: the pretensions of a 19 year old using the art form as a vehicle to stardom, rather than an artist attempting to communicate with an audience. And it worked so I'm not faulting the man for doing his thing. But as a music fan who is being told that I SHOULD listen to this album, the only engaging quality I hear is rhythm. Frankly, I'd rather listen to an hour's worth of Art Blakey soloing.

Surprisingly, considering what I expected, not my least favourite so far. It's still getting a 1 star from me but like, a higher 1 star? Rap just isn't my genre and the misogyny is very off putting but considering I'll probably rank ACDC 4 or 5 stars later I'd feel hypocritical to downgrade for that too much. My main issue is the backing more than anything, I think the vocals over something heavier would end up being something I enjoy (hence Rage Against the Machine being a favourite of mine).

I think snoop dogg fucked the right people to be on the charts with this shitass music and he abused substances to forget about it all. I don't get this music and I'll never will and I don't think that this is a music i should listen to before i die
