Reviews (page 11 of 11)
Aquest àlbum és 5% música i 95% white noise. L'única cosa que el salva de ser 1 star és un parell de cançons que em van semblar acceptables, però és una cosa horrible en general i sóc incapaç d'entendre per què la gent ho escolta no irònicament. Lorenzo expected rating: 4
Remember that the album is a product of its time. Some lyrical content is cringe, offensive and/or sexist. Some of it is okay. It's not for me. But if I was invited to hang out with Snoop, I wouldn't say no. Overall: 3/10
Watch out, we have a badass here. O_O. The more I listen to rap, the more I am convinced that there is no such thing as a good rap album. Gin & Juice is good. The rest was tiresome. Dude leans too hard into his name, cussing and treating women as objects. 2/5.
Weird af
The music and flow was pretty good on this one but hard to get past some of the lyrics.
Just not my kind of music.
2.5
Not my favourite kind of music, but now i have given it a try.
Two stars. It's good but it's not my 90s rap shit.
This is more listenable than some of the later gangsta rap … probably because it’s early 90s hip-hop. There’s still a lot of misogyny in the lyrics though so some of the songs are offputting.
No thanks, I'll take the lobotomy instead.
Definitely a fun listen, but not quite my cup of tea.
Quite okay, nothing great
It was fine, maybe hip hop isn’t my thing
Not my style
When it hits it hits hard, but it misses far too often.
Gleda meg litt til Snoop Lion, men va kje den høydaren eg forventa meg
It’s a doggy dogg world, and we’re just living in it.
Bland and misogynistic, but not the worst rap I've heard.

Ei ollu seven nation army.
a lot of the songs sound similar to me. i found it sort of silly because of how stereotypical and vulgar the lyrics are. it's so corny 💀 like the opening to gz and hustlers is so goofy
This coming so quickly after the Dre album didn't really work for me. I feel guilty, because I feel like I am trying to rate it honestly.
weed man
Got some nostalgia vibes since this was the first rap album I ever bought when I was in High School. Some catchy tracks, but I don't see myself ever wanting to listen to this album again. 2/5
Not really my jam. Lyrics are hilariously bad but I feel like that's the norm for old school hip hop and rap. If I just focus on the backing tracks it's kinda catchy, though.
Eh had some bangers
Te overdreven vol van zichzelf. Iets mindere vorm van hiphop naar mijn mening
Kann man machen, muss man nicht.
Dated womanizing lyrics with nothing special
It just sounds all the same, only good songs on this album would be Gin and Juice and Who am I (What's my name?).
2.75
Hip hop. Otro coñazo.
its alr, lil too much of a womanizer thing going on, 4/10
I get why this was a hit album on release. Compared to other classic albums the songwriting is more thoughtful. There are more melodies, song parts. I would still not return to this album for great songwriting though.
Not as silly as some on this genre but silly enough to not be taken seriously
Tha Shiznit, Murder Was The Case, Who Am I, Gz and Hustlas 2.5/5
Maybe it’s the Martha/Snoop memes and resulting cultural saturation, but I’m getting tired of Mr. Dogg’s schtick. ‘Gin and Juice’ is the only notable track on here, and the rest just kind of existed without declaring or demanding much musically.
The mysoginistic bullshit hasn’t aged well
Although I don't generally care for hip hop, I can understand why this is on the list.
Not a fan of all the F bombs and N bombs but some nice music behind all of it and some creative samples.
I thought it was pretty meh.
Fun enough but I prefer a harder edge.
Meh
I like Snoop's voice but this kind of album has too much profanity and is too raunchy to be enjoyable for me - it distracts and detracts too much from the beats and the lyricism
I love Snoop but this is redundant and boring.
Nja nei, mest av alt kleint.
Nah. Can’t do it. The lyrics were worse than I remember. I do like the music though.
This is just junk. It's better than some other rap I've heard, but it's still not great.
At the second position-themed record in as many days, the electronic squeals are just as West Coast as The Chronic's. Snoop's debut isn't a bad record though it lacks standout songs on top of a pointed whole. Recommended for driving.
Here we go again with silly gangster / sex bragging and swearing.
While Snoop Doggy Dogg is a good rapper with a very smooth even flow, it's hard to rectify the content of his stuff in my eyes. I get that all of the was unfortunately kind of normalised at the time but the content of the lyrics, heck even the album cover makes my skin crawl a bit. Best: Gin & Juice Worst: For all my N*#gaz & Bitches
Couldn't get behind this at all.
Just like The Chronic the gansta rap lyrics get tiring very quickly. I doin't like album skits at the best of times and this one has far too many. Highlights: Gin and Juice Ain't No Fun
Same applies here that has applied to Dre and Jay Z.... More of the same gansta rap tropes zzzzz I think this is probably more light hearted than Dre and the beats are better but still feels very dated now. He has a good voice and flow but the lyrical content bores me. Gin and Juice is a great track though and pretty nostalgic.
Man, that did NOT age well. Snoop's flow is undeniable but his lyrics are utter garbage. Just trash. The beats are a bounce, though. But these lyrics and those truly horrendous skits... geeze. It took killer beats AND Snoop's iconic flow to redeem a single star from that garbage.
I'm sure Snoop Dogg is cool to hang out with and everything, but I just don't enjoy the G-Funk sound - it's as cartoonish as that tacky-ass cover.
I remember how unique this sound was when it first came on out. Now it doesn’t interest me much, and that album cover is really irritating.
(24/100)
The gangsta, bitch and ho's crap, the ridiculously over the top profanity and use of the n word....it's so old and was tired 30 years ago. Don't care about the production quality or the fact that he's now a tame celebrity who is accepted by the masses, I just despise this music and all of the albums like it that came before or after.
Quite monotone. Not much variety. I have previously heard Gin and Juice and felt like this was the whole album slightly adjusted.
I don’t know much about Snoop Dog. I haven’t listened to any of his music. I know he was very popular. Provocative title. I like good rap music like Public Enemy. This is not good rap music Snoop Dog’s voice is not good. Lyrics are often sexist. Snoop Dog swears so much it becomes tiresome. A terrible album. One star.
Oh, Snoop. Why did you have to go and perform at that inauguration event? Massive disappointment. Now I'm going to have to rate you the way I will when I eventually get to Kid Rock. 1 star without listening.
Any time over the last 35 years I could have listened to this album. I never did. Because I thought it would be ... more or less like this. Yuck. So much talent, such well produced musical settings ... misallocated to the creation of this juvenile twaddle. The Slick Rick pastiche demonstrates real imagination. But, like the music of Slick Rick, tremendous creative ingenuity is deployed in the service of a vision that is at best problematic.
I don’t like it. Misogynistic, repetitive and stupid.
No es mi estilo para nada
I just didn’t find this appealing at all. I wasn’t a fan of what I heard when this was new, and listening to the whole thing 30 years later was actually worse than I expected.
Pure posturing. Boring.
yea no
If this is the pinnacle of this particular genre, which I understand it is up there with it, then it doesn't say much for the genre as a whole. It's just a stream of childish cliches. At best a daft novelty record. Obviously it's not remotely aimed at me.
Always loved him but he turned:(
sooooo much misogyny
Not my cup of tea at all so not really fair for me to review. The best I can say about it is that it’s comfortably ignore-able.
Number: 114 Date: 04/27/2026 Artist: Snoop Dogg Album: Doggystyle Year: 1993 Genre: Hip Hop Familiarity: Moderate (3) Rating: 1 Notes: I like the music but the lyrics are atrocious.
Haven't listened to this since college, when you couldn't walk five feet without hearing Gin and Juice. Yeah, still don't like it.
I like Snoop Dog as a personality but never head any of his albums. I was really hoping this would be good but aside from a few catchy hooks, the lyrics are just god awful. What a disappointment.
why did we ever let men get away with saying awful things about women
Incluso con mi nivel de inglés, sé que este disco es una absoluta vergüenza.
Not for me
There are very few albums in this genre that I have enjoyed, but this isn't one of them.
2 - TERRIBLE
Saved? ❌ Would listen again? ❌ Would recommend to anyone? ❌ Would buy on Vinyl? ❌
Ok. As someone who doesn’t usually like hiphop/rap, this album really opened my eyes. I did NOT like it at all. I expected something very good and introspective, OR a groovy, funk-like vibe. I got neither. The only highlight through the album was its beat in some tracks. Everything else…no. It felt vulgar and a little bit crude, without meaning behind it except its face value, which isn’t much. The lyrics and beat hold little to no meaning, the sheer amount of cussing was useless and unnecessary, and felt superficial in a way that was not interesting. Although not my favorite, it had some very good concepts in theory. Gin and Juice had a good beat, and Tha Shiznit held a good introductory idea. Both are not used to their potential and are poorly executed. This album had potential, but did not surface to its worth and hype. I hear so much about this album, and the hullabuloo is not deserved from what I heard. Maybe it holds emotional significance for some—but not for me. Additionally, each song felt eternal. 5 minutes was a lot for many songs, and even 3 was much too lengthy.
Horrible.
I liked the more chill mood of the music. But that's about it.
Just not my bag.
What exactly should anyone expect from an album titled Doggystyle, slapped with an explicit lyrics warning and featuring genuinely crude, over-the-top cover art? I'm no prude by any means, but the lyrics still cross a line for me. The nonstop barrage of profanity, racial slurs, and graphic content, all piled on top of those G-funk drum beats, makes it genuinely tough to listen to for extended periods. It's completely off-limits around kids. You might play it in the car, but you'd better keep the volume low. Earbuds work, though belting out the lyrics could get awkward (or risky) in public. Even the clever George Clinton samples and funky production can't fully redeem it for me.
Oof
Send him to the pound. 1
Looks like I stepped in something fresh.
Ej..
Sigh even given "it was thirty years ago" and "maybe it's supposed to be art/irony". The misogyny means this can only score 1
Not for me.
226/1001 Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle Heard before? ❎ Revisit? ❎ Well I listened to all of it, and that's the best thing I can say about it...
Really couldn't get into this at all. I find the lyrics a really tough listen.
This whole tainted genre and subculture needs to be put back underground so deep it will never surface again. Gangsta my ass, try being a father to your children.
Ugh! Can’t get into it. Wasn’t made for me and that’s ok. Hate the cover it starts there.
Strong 1. The beats and production are fantastic. I just don’t support Trumpers and MAGAts so I’m voting 1 based on principle. Also I get annoyed with misogynistic language in songwriting. I’m over it
I know this will come as a shocker but I did not enjoy this album. I actually found the music tracks catchy and fun to listen to. I just can’t stand the misogynistic lyrics and the unrelenting f-bombs. I listened to the complete tracks until I got to track 9 - “For All My…” - the chorus of which finished me off. Can’t tell you anything about the remaining tracks. I was done.
skipping maga dogg
A genre that eschews melody, harmonic progression, and musical expressivity (all of the musical elements being performed soullessly by computers) leaves us with rhythm and lyrics. The small-minded, ego-centric lyrical themes bore me. Snoop has since demonstrated an ability to be inspiring, generous, and SOOO funny. It leaves this sounding exactly like what it is: the pretensions of a 19 year old using the art form as a vehicle to stardom, rather than an artist attempting to communicate with an audience. And it worked so I'm not faulting the man for doing his thing. But as a music fan who is being told that I SHOULD listen to this album, the only engaging quality I hear is rhythm. Frankly, I'd rather listen to an hour's worth of Art Blakey soloing.
Fun fun fun. 1/5
Didn’t like
An unwelcome insight into the misogyny and ageism of rap culture. Music surprisingly engaging but too many fucking motherfuckers for my radio-edit ears.
If I could tune out the lyrics it would get a 5, but I can’t so it’s a 1.
Creepy

Listening to this filth makes me question how the US was considered the pinnacle of western society for so long.

Surprisingly, considering what I expected, not my least favourite so far. It's still getting a 1 star from me but like, a higher 1 star? Rap just isn't my genre and the misogyny is very off putting but considering I'll probably rank ACDC 4 or 5 stars later I'd feel hypocritical to downgrade for that too much. My main issue is the backing more than anything, I think the vocals over something heavier would end up being something I enjoy (hence Rage Against the Machine being a favourite of mine).
I think snoop dogg fucked the right people to be on the charts with this shitass music and he abused substances to forget about it all. I don't get this music and I'll never will and I don't think that this is a music i should listen to before i die
Hip-Hop / Gangsta Rap just doesn't do it for me.

I've never been particularly interested in hip hop, especially rap, but there are artists in this genre who stand out from the crowd and create something unique. Snoop Dogg's stage presence and stoner swag make it quite enjoyable to watch him perform. But just listening to it doesn't make sense to me. Even Dre's beats aren't enough to earn a second star.
Good beats, if you can ignore the lyrics. Unfortunately, I can't ignore the lyrics. The cover art is a pretty good clue about how much objectification of women is going on here. Grotesque.
Not a snoop fan
Yeah, no.
Painful, so explicit, unbearable
Hip Hop, 42eme album =>1/5

Why won’t you allow zero.
Didn't like it at all.
I like listening to the album du jour when I get home as the heavenly shades of night are falling. It's a good time to do your chores and have a think about a bit of pop music. The Avalanches the other day was perfect for such a scenario. This creep can fuck off. Vile.
Didn't listen
Off the cuff remark: I have no idea if this is a reflection of some kind of gangster life or some weird wishful thinking or an entirely fictional version of a life. It holds no interest for me despite my best efforts.
Not for me. Sorry, but I don't really like Snoop Dog's voice. It was distracting and I barely made it to the end.
It's a classic but Snoop is a Trumper now so fuck him.
No listens for the Lap Dogg.
Overrated! I don’t feel like this has aged very well. Even in the context of its time, Tribe was putting out way more enjoyable hip hop albums years prior. The production is great but is often wasted on really base lyrical content. Some of the most impressive lines on this are delivered by the features.

Bass-heavy beats and dense linguistic acrobatics that create a dense carpet of sound I can't get trough.

Fuck trump-loving Snoop.
I just can't do it.
Rap. Not enthused. Sorry.

Album from the guy that Wow, an album from the guy that does UberEats ads. I don't like skits at the best of times and my lord this can get grating. There are a couple of standout tracks in the first half but this really dragged. This probably hit like a ton of bricks when it came out but this honestly hasn't aged well especially lyrically, 55 minutes of this is far too much. As an album experience this was thoroughly unenjoyable, and having Gin and Juice on here doesn't salvage it. Highlights: Gin and Juice, Murder Was The Case
Not my thing at all
Truly not for me.
Är så jävla vit men pallar typ inte med lyricsen alls, vissa grooves är sköna men blir ba opepp tyvärr
Not really my thing, from what little I've listened to of this album. The subject matter, tempo of the songs I did preview... I do enjoy some rap, but definitely not this.
Dear god he’s really like this. And even worse than I could ever have imagined.
Not my cup of tea.
---
Tried to listen, but did not finish.
Doggystyle is a much more entertaining sexual position than a record. Anyone with a phallus-form appendage or attachment can enjoy the position. I suppose one could use a fist or arm, but that's, well, not doggystyle. The record seems to fall short of the position, but I suppose it's the artist's doggystyle approach rather than the position. Yet, the cover features a quite explicit bestiality pun; I'm not going to like it, but I want to do that cartoon dog, doggystyle. The record has its moments, and the majority of them start at the beginning. Much like doggystyle with a lady who has that "badussy" coming on, at first, this is great, but then you smell it. In the case of the album, you hear it with your ears. I discovered, as I listened with my ears, that the record is repetitive. It's like being in the Corps and going to a chow hall in Okinawa. You tell each person behind the sacred glass shield what you would like, and it's easy because it's all "same." At each step, you tell the man with a spoon "same" because each day, for each meal, you eat "same." With music, this phenom is typically, regarding the previous record; this is Snoop's "first" as Snoop as there was less "Doggystyle" on The Chronic from that fine PHD which coincientally suffers from the same issue as The Chronic: a few incredible singles, followed by the same, same, and more of the same or, Whisky Tracks, you know, you go and go and go and it wont go. I suppose, in a way, I am implying that it is a boring record that lacks consistent energy or additional depth. It has a few solid tracks, but it just keeps doing more of the same and this is usually with a soph...oh shit, I done did it, wiggy waggy wack strappy tap ritty tat tit bat shat on da gat mock mocky snoop doop a loop boom bam doopy woopy hoopy poop poop.
I’ve never been a fan of Snoop Dogg’s voice or delivery, but I have to give credit where it’s due—his choice of beats and samples is top-tier. There’s a clear musicality to his work that’s hard to ignore. That said, Doggystyle just doesn’t land for me. The lyrics are repetitive, and much of the language feels overused or outright off-putting. The album leans heavily into predictability, and the interludes, in particular, add little value. In fact, they break up the flow in a way that feels more distracting than creative. In summary, while the production is strong and undeniably catchy in places, the lyrical content drags the experience down. I wouldn’t choose to listen to this again. Favorite track: “Who Am I (What’s My Name?)” – undeniably a solid tune. Least favorite: The interludes are pointless, and tracks like number 9 are downright unpleasant. Album artwork: There’s a bit of comedic value to it, but it’s not something I’d want hanging on my wall
Corny then and corny now

Do Not enjoy this
Nope
A product of its time - misogynistic and problematic
Monotonous, superficial, self-indulgent and at points disgusting. If I wanted to hear about "doggy dog" bathing, pissing and fucking I'd just get an actual dog.
Needed a shower after this one
Not my taste
This is the 69th album I’m rating. Gin and Juice is a classic but I’ve never listened to another Snoop Dogg song. Adding to my Playlist - Who Am I? (What’s my Name?) and Pump Pump Not Adding to my Playlist - Bathtub, G Funk Intro, W Balls (Interlude, The Shiznit, Domino Intro (Interlude), Lodi Dodi, Murder Was the Case (DeathAfterVisualizingEternity), Serial Killa, For All my Niggaz & Bitches, Ain’t No Fun (If the Homies Can’t Have None), Chronic Relief Intro (Interlude) Doggy Dogg World, Class Room Intro (Interlude), Gz and Hustlas, Checkin’ (Interlude), and Gz Up, Hoes Down. Already Added to my Playlist - Gin and Juice All in all I liked 3/19 songs. This wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be based off of Gin and Juice.

Uncle Tom sell out
Before listening to any Gangsta rap album it’s a good idea to check Wikipedia to see if the artist in question is dead, a nonce or a Republican (or all three). In Snoop Dogg’s case it seems that he’s now a born again Christian (after being in the Nation of Islam and a brief spell as a Rastafarian for one reggae album). One can only assume that he doesn’t sing quite so many songs about his testicles nowadays. There’s also a disappointing lack of Peanuts references, presumably after legal action from the Charles M Schultz estate.
I do not like this at all. There has been enough rap on this list.

Who are ya (what’s yer name)? Frankly, I couldn’t care less!
Music industry approved pap aimed at white. middle class teenagers who want to play this to upset their parents, believing it to be the ultimate revolutionary action. This album is, not to put too fine a point on it, a bag of shite. Listening to the lyric, one has to seriously question the sexual orientation of someone who hates women this much.
pfff... rap muziek is al erg genoeg op zichzelf... waarom er ook nog sketchen tussen steken... je haalt het klein beetje flow dat in het album zit er volledig uit
If I wanted juvenile misogyny and undeserved swagger, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are more radio friendly. If I want a hip-hop group that samples pfunk/george Clinton a lot, digital underground did it better, without nBombs or bitch/ ho lyrics. Sex Packets by DU predates this by 2 years and is a masterpiece. This is machismo garbage, no matter how catchy the underlying groove might be.
I abhors Snoop’s voice and no sick beat can overcome it. Absolutely terrible.
I Absolutely hate SnoopDog
Awful. How did Snoop escape this album and be the amazing celebrity he's is today ... ? Wait. What? He did what ... ? https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-snoop-dogg-inauguration-crypto-ball-2024024 https://www.newsweek.com/snoop-dogg-video-badbadnotgood-donald-trump-567522
It’s 2025. A time for the morally dexterous to make hash out of old beefs. The chameleonic, iconic Snoop finds time in his calendar to play for a pardon. A generous gesture; will it that history doesn’t look upon it as a kindness. There’s fun to be had rolling your shoulders to the big hits. An instrumental would be preferable.
Snoop is now an international treasure. But this is typical '90s hip-hop: lay down (or steal) a rhythm, talk over it (angrily or stoned), brag, use a lot of repetitive foul language, mix and repeat. If you're adventurous, add those stupid filler tracks. Thank God for Tribe Called Quest and southern hip-hop.
Got to admit, didn't get past the 1st song. Really not my thing and not in the mood.

Don't like it. Too sexual
A juvenile and misogynistic rant, glorifies violent grifting for the grift. It is only saved by being so silly and delivered with some amount of style. There is skill here, but g-rap as a genre had a lot of growing to do back then.
First impression - what a horrible cover. Second impression - an equally horrible record.
Devoid of musicality, this is an album I never want to hear again.
Sold out to Trump, 1 star.
No. Music for idiots. But to be fair: the bests are kind of cool.
“around here we say birds, not bitches” We also don’t use the N word.
I'm suspect this guy isn't really a dog. For one thing, it appears he is able to mimic human speech, though at an impossibly crass and vulgar level. He also seems to be a bit racist.
beats and flow are nice at times but lyrics are lame af
Nicht mein Fall ... Nur "Ain't No Fun" war ganz gut.
American rap
I suppose you had to be there?
Dear god.
More groovy than I expected. For me Eels, The Pixies, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, and even The Mighty Lemon Drops swore with more style, impact and emotion than this!! Less is more 😀 The lyrical content is repetitive nonsense, and that's being kind! I got bored early on and it was a struggle to listen to the end.
Not my cup of tea
Boring (and I like rap and hip hop)
I don’t care how good (or bad) this may be, I cannot listen to these horrible lyrics.
If you were looking for misogyny you found it.
1 y solo por que no hay 0 estrellas. Que porquería.
First listen Saved 1/13 Top track: Who Am I (What's My Name)?
Very few albums can manage the "clever" bits between songs. Rather like The Who Sell Out this one fails as a result - it's just a bit boring and tedious and, as a result of the bullshit between tunes, far too fucking long. Lauryn Hill managed it; this doesn't. The actual music is OK, but as an album this fails. I was toying with 2 stars, but this is about the album so it's in the bin for me.
Oh wow, it's Snoop Dogg. He's such an icon. I should give this a 5! No. Every song is the same, talking about drugs, sex, and how amazing Snoop is. And I don't care.
A few thoughts. 1. This album would be really funny if it wasn't a reflection of gang culture and gang culture wasn't one reflection of centuries of systematic exclusion. Yikes. 2. The music is catchy in an incantation-like-Annabel-Lee kind of way. Four second sequences that are repeated and rhymed on top of for a few minutes. 3. I'm grateful for the women in my life. 4. I'm okay without more of this in my life.
Never listened to Snoop Dog before. Now I will never listen to him again. 1 track was more than enough. 🤮 It’s like a parody of itself 🤷🏻♂️
Not a fan at all. Not the worst rap album, but I hate rap that just talks about sex all the time; just why? 1/5
I hate this as much as dogshit on the sidewalk.
I did my best to come into this with an open mind, but it was still terrible.
As noted by an explicit classification, there is use of profanity on every song. Mostly spoken, some beat driven rap. Lyrically, nothing noteworthy other than a surprising ability to relate every song to canines.
Very simple --- I did not like it. And, to be honest, I did not think it is such a great album. Probably it hit the nerve of the time when it was published but to me it sounds a lot like an album made for teenagers with the goal of making money and less like an album where a musician put in a lot of work to do the music he'd like to.
Hot take. To me this album sounded like hot garbage. I never have liked Snoop's voice and didn't care for this album.
No..
Bit embarrassing in 2024 tbf
No words to describe this crap
Most recognizable is "Gin and Juice". Some snappy tunes but a little too much swearing for me. "Ain't No Fun" was too vulgar so I shut it down. Game over. 1 Star ... because I can't give zero.
I tried. Only so many references to licking balls one can take. Pass.

Yikes. The music/beats themselves were ok, but the lyrics. I feel like I need to go to confession and take a shower now.
I gave this a chance but I just don't get all this MF gangsta s**t. I don't get that they expect respect but don't give it, especially to women. Not for me on principle !
Take the music, loose the lyrics!
He says he doesn't like hoes but writes all about bitches and his dick.
Snoop dog is certainly a character. Not a very enjoyable to listen to character but definitely something. Some of the beats are cool, but Jesus I'm fucken bored listening to this. If you're a G or a hustla maybe you'll like it but I'm aight.
Nope, beat is good but totally sexist shit.
Hate this stuff. Always have always will. Don’t know much about Broadus but what I’ve read he seems to be an obnoxious long time criminal who I don’t want polluting my ears or in my life. His song lyrics confirm this.

Did not like this album. Not into this style of music
Raunchy and filthy.
Do not care for swearing, stopped at first cuss word, which was probably 10 seconds into song. I would give zero stars but I can't vote unless one star.

I like a lot of hip hop but this is puerile nonsense. The music is fine, but the content is full of misogyny and I just can’t stomach it.

Couldn't listen through it. Hip hop just is not my genre.
I was introduced to Snoop much later than most, in college. This is definitely rap wars sounding and a lot of the lyrics are very demeaning, especially to women. I understand the nostalgia, but now I'm questioning my later found interest on him. I think I'll stick to Snoop Lion 😅
Not my style
This didn't take long. I only lasted minutes. No chance I would spend time here. nah nah nah
Seminal hip hop album but I can't stand the misogyny in it. Talking about passing her around to the homies etc. wtf.
I don´t like hip hop
Gangsta rap should've been strangled at birth

Hip-hop has never been my thing so this is totally subjective, but every track sorta sounded the same n nothing grabbed me.
What a load of shit!!! Hip hop??? More like Shit Shop!! Vulgar childish "Billy Big Balls" lyrics about homeboy niggahs chuggin at thier tiny little dicks, calling all the women hoes, bitches, mutha fkers, gotta listen to DJ salt t balz... I mean ffs, were they trying to copy Chef in Southpark??? How original!! Complete shite, No musical talent applied to any part of this album, go ask yourself.... Hate everything about this album and the genre???? It stands for!!!

Not for me.
As the man said, "Niggaz talkin ' shit" Yep, that just about covers it. I really don't like this stuff at all. It's just offensive.
Lyhyempänä 3 tähteä.. perseestä kuunnella 1h tätä..
The world was made a worse place because of this album exists in it. Misogynistic crap! A disgrace To women and an entire race. 0/5
Slecht 👎!
1/5. Ignorant, misogynistic, crap.
Offensive from the start. Plain terrible pretentious rubbish. -5
No thanks
Not my thing, but even I can acknowledge that there are about 3 songs that transcend the album itself.
Not my jam, didn’t enjoy it at all.
Err
This is why I don’t like hip-hop.
