Once - Good opening to an album, eased me in. Wasn't sure what to expect but enjoyed it nonetheless. Even Flow - A classic. Not too heavy. Very fun song. Alive - Nice song, lyrics pretty cool maybe quite sad? Like this one a lot. Great voice. Wicked guitar solo. Why Go - Slightly heavier, liked it. Not my favourite so far but by no means bad. Long guitar solo which was fun. Black - Slower song, nice. Like the vocals on this one a lot. Jeremy - Bit more boring don't hate it but won't be listening again any time soon. Ocean's - Lovely beginning. Great vocals on this one. Love the high notes. Felt very cool listening to this song. Porch - Really felt the bass in this one, the drumming was very expressive in Porch. Garden - Felt powerful. Vocals and lyrics really huge in this one. Again, really feel the bass. I like this one. Deep - Rock and roll and grunge. Dirty song liking this. Drums at the end very rock. Release - Last song, feels like a last song to an epic album.

So Far Away - Catchy bass line, catchy guitar riff and lyrics. Feels like I should be in a coming of age film Money for Nothing - Questionable lyric but the other lyrics very fun. Classic really Walk of Life - Insane song. Bouncy, up-beat rock and roll. Your Latest Tricks - Gentle, slow, nice relaxing song. Feels sexy, especially with Knopfler's Ooohs Why Worry - Slow, relaxing, dreamy song. Liking this a lot. Nice instrumental to end the song. Ride Across the River - Cool, different tune. Feels like I'm in the jungle The Man's Too Strong - Great lyrics, great guitar. Nick Cave sequel in a weird sort of happier way One World - Cool bass very catchy. Different song I'm liking it, feels like a powerful listen Brothers in Arms - Another classic this. Very smooth, catchy guitar. Lyrics felt like they were being whispered and I liked that a lot.

Didn't make personal notes for each tune this time. Was getting ready and listening to it at the same time so didn't have time. Never properly listened to Eric Clapton's stuff before so this was a nice introduction. Obviously Layla is a classssssiccccc which was nice. My fave song was Anyday. Whole album felt very cool, felt like a cool boy listening to this album. Fun, cool and incredibly talented band. Great album.

Great intro to an album. Never properly listened to Afrobeat properly before and I enjoyed this a lot. The 16 minute drum solo was particularly impressive. Lot of love for this great album!

I'm Goin' Down - Quite cool, sounds like Wagon Wheel a bit which is a shame. Glory Days - Another classic, maybe I know more Bruce than I thought! Dancing in the Dark - I knew this one too! Wow, Bruce Springsteen has some great tunes. Know Dad loves him maybe I do too. This is a great song with great lyrics. My Hometown - Nice finish to a great album. Took me on a journey.

One of those albums that I wish I liked, I just don't really. Kind of hurts my ears a bit. Incredibly talented band but just not for me. Couple good tracks. Maps of course and Poor Song.

Thunder Road - Okay Harmonica! Always loved a harmonica. Nice song like this, upbeat bit of fun, cool piano. Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out - His voice is ridiculous, what a guy. Could see myself being a Bruce fan! I likeeeeee this album so far. Bit of fun Night - Big chords, sounds like another song but I cannot think for the life of me. Again, vocals are just !!!!! Backstreets - Bass is wicked on this one. Want to listen to the lyrics he's singing more. ooooo key change! Great tune. Born to Run - OFC I KNOW THIS ONE. Feel like I'm in AMERICAAAAAAAAAA She's the One - She is the one and this album is the one. One of the coolest songs I've heard on this album a day journey. Meeting Across the River - Weird, saw Eddie next to the sea last night, so kinda the same thing. Chill, love the piano and the sax. Super relaxing song, could listen all night long. Jungleland - Lyrics feel very American, love shit like this. Barefoot girls sitting on the hood of a dodge, what a line, so America.

Great album, one of the first records I bought so obviously have a small connection with it. Perfect length, only 40 mins great stuff. Fave off the album is either That Joke isn't funny anymore or Nowhere Fast. Fuck Morrissey.

Not my favourite album in the world. Totally understand it's meant to sound like this, but some of the tracks are just hard to listen to, sore ears and that. Appreciate the artist and the post punk sound but just not for me.
