Some good jams

After reading the wiki, it impresses me that this album was all but complete after one week. Crown of Love hits feels. Wake Up is a classic to me. But Haiti and Backseat with the female vocals really surprised me, they were softer and yet more of statement pieces for me. One thing that alludes to the "Indie" realm for me here is the unpolished, unrefined sound with some classical instruments is a cool juxtaposition.

bcnr vibes. track one bangs. driving rhythm is really cool. I like a good indie clip on the vocals. what on earth time signature is track 2. the backing vocals work in a cool way here. still cool. cool guitar lead here in track 3. softer vibe. the mixing of the drums is very specific but sounds good. I like this song quite a bit. I like the whole melody being built off a simple phrase. fuck yeah. the sliding bass oh yeah. banger. on about track 4 now. I love the simple sliding bass. reminds me of pattos bassline on track 6 of iwutbf. what an instrument. this all just works so well. the mix is so full. holy shit this is mad. 10/10 song wholeheartedly. that song had me groovin. I think a picture of houses at nighttime would be a better album cover for this album. not a bad cover but the music gives vibes of the sunken suburbs in Derek Mahon day trip to donegal poem. the subtle building here in track 5 is cool. I like this feature on the website of taking notes. makes more present listening experience. this song is yet to Get a heart but I'll mention it's really cool to use kettle whistling in the music. this is cool mixing technique have 2 violins panned hard left and right double tracking the same thing then have 1 cut out and then change. I'll have to try that when recording mark for guitar or something. track 6 I think I recognise this chorus. this is sick. I get why this album is so famous. I prefer the use of strings here than on the last track. the start of the verse section gives ed Sheeran vibes. this chorus slaps tho tbf. I'll definitely be revisiting this album!!! this song is kinda Concorde. I wonder why the next song is so popular. oh that's a cool drum groove. vocals sound cool. track 8 is nice but not anything mad at least on first listen. I need to get new headphones these ones get uncomfortable ridiculously quickly. hell yeah track 9. I love a good hard panned clean tone small electric. the structuring of this song is cool. makes sense. shaped like a series of ramps. was that a key change or a dodgy chord change. mmm . I like the soundscape trach ten. mmm . chune to end it on. I like that technique of simplifying the melody that was big and grandiose into something really small to end it off. as far as the album over all I definitely preferred the first half to the second. the first half blew my mind the second have was really quite good. it lost me a little with neighbourhood 4 kettles, but that was probably just the pace change and from how much I messed with neighbourhood 3 power out. very cool

A bit too orchestral for me but I’d listen to some songs again

This is the sound of 2004 at UVM. Start to finish it's so lovely. Doesn't hit quite as hard as it did back then, the sound has been so redone. But still brings it back.

Is win butler a weird fucker? Yes. Is this an impressive debut? Also yes.

Reminded me how much I like bass guitar with good headphones. And how much I don’t like distortion on vocals.

Well, this is much better than any overplayed Arcade Fire song I've heard on the radio. Genuinely a really good Album with unique sound and ambition. Only got a 4* because it won't get much airplay from me in future, but enjoyed the couple of run throughs so far.

Brings back vibes from my college days at the Dalton Depot.

Started out as a traditional sounding Indie album but the last half was superb. The use of strings added to the great textures of sound.

Really liked this when it came out, perhaps because I saw them live many times with various indie luminaries of the age (The National! The Killers! Wolf Parade! Modest Mouse!). It's still pretty good although parts are a bit over-earnest and awkward.

Great album

Out of this universe...... very, very nice :-)

Absolutely brilliant debut album. Sadly it's also the high point of their career so far. Their second album was very weak, followed by a string of very good to excellent albums. Their most recent is awful - preachy and irritating. Not a good look when you consider the trouble Win Butler has gotten himself into.

I feel like I’m half a generation off when I hear this album. I was 26 and heard “Power Out”, probably on MySpace and I loved it. It takes me back to an in between time and space where I was nowhere near being a kid, but also didn’t have a lot of grown up concerns. All the same, it’s not a part of me like the music I was listening to 10 years earlier. Really good songs from start to finish. But when I listen to it, I get this feeling of borrowing someone else’s stuff. Not my own. Another generation’s.

Arcade Fire is one of the bands that makes me wish it was still 2004.

Pretty good, but it didn't hold my attention very long as outstanding. Probably a personal music taste preference though.

Truly one the finest debut albums by a Canadian band, Funeral shines on almost every track and continues to be Arcade Fire's greatest achievement. I saw the band during the Funeral tour when it came out and I can't think of a better concert I've seen and the intensity and pure physical energy the band puts fore during their live shows was something to see. I've seen them since and the songs from Funeral are still the highlights of the shows. With Win Butler's recent douchey (toxic) behaviour with some fans, I can't bring myself to give 5 stars, the music and album deserve it, but the band has left me with question marks.

Definitely worth several more listens.

It is beautiful record though I felt I was in an indie move in 2005. It seems dated and a product of its time still I will probably add it to the collection.

Great album! Wasn't a fan of Arcade Fire before, but I like this kind of indie rock. None of the songs is a clear radio hit, but the whole record maintains a pretty high quality from the start to finish. I'll soon listen to this album again, but it looks like a sure thing to buy a vinyl.

It’s bittersweet. I feel like that’s the best way I could describe it. It’s great.

Pretty much a modern classic. They arrived as a force of nature. The album hold together well. Its epic in a U2 kinda way, it hit the loud quiet dynamic like the Pixies and it feels emotional. 4.5

Pretty good! I definitely enjoyed The Suburbs on first listen quite a bit more, but this isn’t bad still. Biggest complaint is that the vocals are so hard to hear behind all the instrumentation. 7/10

Great album. I’ve owned it for a long time although I rarely listen to it. “Haiti” would find itself on a list of my favourite songs ever.

What an album. Magical even. I remember seeing them at the Pyramid at glasto and Wake Up with all the flags and that waving was goosebumps gear. That Win Butler is a dirty ticket though isn’t he?

Melancholy and emotional. Perfect music for those rainy days when you want to turn inward.

Emotional, powerful, loud. This was an enjoyable listen. Every song felt like something out of a coming-of-age film soundtrack. The lead singer’s voice can be a bit polarizing, but I enjoyed it. There are some pretentious parts of this album as well. It really embodies the 2000s indie sound.

I really like this album, but it is curated almost to a fault. I feels like a theater performance, I’d have to listen more to get it I think. In The Backseat is an incredibly track though.

When this first came out I couldn't stand hearing Wake Up constantly, and would change the channel on the radio the second I heard it come on. While I still feel they're a bit up their own ass being 'artists' I do enjoy the music a lot more now. Regine is a treasure, don't hurt her Win.

Fantastic! I loved the Alvino Rey add on the Japanese Delux edition. I'm a big fan of the 40's music so this was a surprise and really fun bonus. The album itself is great. I've heard this one a few times now and think it has grown on me. 4/5

From first listen, particular favourites were Neighbourhood #3 and Crown of Love. Definitely liked this album, will want to listen again. Men ruin everything and we can't have nice things ever :| still a good album but Win Butler can rot.

Big fan of Arcade Fire, but hadn't listened to this full album in a long time. It's really, really, good - I love the almost orchestral sound they create - and there aren't many bad songs on this. Definitely a little pretentious when it comes to song titles (I'm inherently sceptical of most albums that have songs split into different numbered tracks) but there's so much depth to the record that I can move past that. There's also tonnes of energy, coming at you in slightly different ways, and the album if anything gets better than worse as you get towards the end. I've always found that I can take or leave their albums after the first listen or two, but they really grow on me. 4/5, not far off a 5.

One of those generational albums that is a good listen if you want to get into the millennial groove

A first time listen for me! Much more familiar with later Arcade Fire albums. I like it - a bit more gritty, maybe slower? All round enjoyable listen.

Definitely a good album. Most of the songs were one big track, with a couple breaks between them. Worth a listen later.

Quintessential 2000s indie. Held together nicely on the strength of its two enormous singles. As an album everything seems to move to seamlessly from one song to the other bringing a different feeling to listening from start to finish.

Chill indie-rock, very enjoyable, but nothing really original

It's a nice contrast - I got the Suburbs yesterday, and respected the musicianship, but found the whole thing very flat. Whereas this is rather lovely - the naivety, and the willingness to try for an epic sweep make it much more exciting. Wake Up and Neighbourhood 3 make the failures elsewhere more than worthwhile. I feel like this may be one of those bands that may have been better off without success. Perhaps they may have kept it simpler (if this could be described as simple).

the original architects of the twee faux country indie movement. this really did sound like nothing else when it was released, hard to imagine now there is an abundance of imitations with shouting bits in it (looking at you lumineers). having not listened to it for years its better than i remembered.

Every time I close my eyes I picture myself at my own funeral. I'm surrounded by an orchestra of dwarves playing Arcade Fire tracks on flutes. My mother is crying, my father is dancing. My wife and children are nowhere to be seen. It's a sorry state of affairs. In the distance I see the shadowy figure of a woman I used to love. Her face is pale, with crimson lips. I try to reach out to her. I scream, but she looks through me blankly. I fall to me knees and crawl towards my coffin. It's draped in a Chelsea flag which has been completey covered in the jizz of the entire Chelsea first team and backroom staff. I laugh. The ground opens and I fall into hell. This is where I finally see my wife and children. They hate me. It's everything I ever wanted.

Really good. I can tell where other bands were influenced by this album. The sound is similar to a lot of stuff that is popular right now.

The instruments, production and lyrics were good from track one. The drummer needs to try something besides a hi-hat disco beat. The constantly strained vocals were not my favorite but they grew on me—or at least, the virtues overcame the distraction over time. Haiti Mon Pays and Rebellion(Lies) cemented it for me. This is a great album!

Good but not great. No real stand out tracks (other than Rebellion (lies) which I knew before) but works well as a whole piece. Singing in French and playing accordion are always welcome here!

Started somewhat slow but then really came on towards the end. The hit was Wake Up and it's a great song. Rebellion is great. Definitely an Arcade Fire album. Deep song meanings and such a wonderfully distinct sound. I think it will need to be listened to again to appreciate it fully.

Listened before and really enjoy it, but it's one of those albums where - besides a couple of songs, the sounds really blend together. Good in that it's a good sound and cohesive, but hard to pinpoint those songs for relistens.

There were some really beautiful moments on this. I will definitely be giving Arcade Fire a deeper investigation. Thanks, 1001albumsgenerator!

When this album first came out I was way too deep in the throes of pop-punk to get much out of it. Revisiting it 15 years later really let's me appreciate what a well-crafted indie/alt record this is

Already one of my favorite albums! They just released new music that sounded like it harkened back to this era, so revisiting their early stuff might help prime their new album.

I love the hell out of this album. Really quintessential indie music.

Folksy indie rock with some great sense of scale and powerful melodramatic vocals. Thought the opener "Tunnels" was fantastic but not so much the follow-up. It picks up again from there on though, "7 Kettles" is beautiful, the disco-infused outro to "Crown of Love" is cool and the anthemic "Wake Up" is also very effective but I must admit that I don't exactly get the masterpiece status this album has. It's great but nothing more than that.

Cuando salió este disco no me voló los sesos y en esta ocasión tampoco. Sin embargo, sí cambió mi perspectiva sobre el grupo y el álbum, pedo entender ahora la fascinación de mucha gente por la banda. Musica y letras muy cuidadas, sonido pulcro y complejo. 3.5 que sube a 4.

Me cuesta mucho trabajo esta banda porque me gusta como suenan sus armonías, instrumentaciones y estructuras, pero me súper zurra su voz y me hace querer dejar de escuchar en cuanto empieza a cantar. Tratando de dejar de lado los gemidos que hace pasar por canto, la verdad es que es un disco bonito, nostálgico pero sin llegar a extremos y que sube y baja de tono y de intención muy bien. No más por eso llega a la 4 estrella.

I’ve listened to this album before but once it came up here I tried again. I listened to it 3 times mainly because it’s so easy to get lost in the songs. They are very enjoyable and feel like an indie orchestra. It follows the pattern I find great of music that sounds uplifting but the lyrics are the opposite. This album is an indie staple. 7.9/10

Heard it before but not for a few years. One of my favourites from when I was a teenager, very catchy and much prefer it to their later albums. Very youthful sounding album

This is a vein of indie rock from the 2000s that I find quite enjoyable. Now normally I enjoy a raw and rough sound, but this is one place where I think their mellower sounds later in their discography really shine, and the rawness seems detrimental to the overall feel of the album.

It's arcade fire

I am sure that I have heard of Arcade Fire, but I cannot quite place what work I know of the band. This album was all new for me. It was musically interesting. I don't know how often I will actually seek it out for a listen in the future, but it was nice to spend the day with it today.

Liked it a lot, beautiful, might have to Listen to it a few more Times tho

Surprised by this one. Not a huge arcade fire fan, but I hadn't listened to this one. While not exactly my cup of tea, I can see the hype.

Indie pop perfection.

Rebellion (Lies) is an absolute tune. This was peak teenage fun times so my rating is mostly based on nostalgia.

8/10. really good and emotive. almost gave this a 9 but i think it needed more contrast- there was too much loud, layered, choral vocals stuff so that things just kind of ended up blurring together in a way.

7/10. Sounds like 2000's Indie Music, for better and for worse.

I feel like they pulled a lot of punches despite having some compelling ideas. 7/10

The highlight of the album is the magisterial Wake Up. All the tracks before it feel like one long introduction and build up to this particular highlight. I find this album quite hard to pin down - I enjoy the music but I don’t know what the band are trying to say. Maybe this doesn’t matter.

Nice and chill. Overall enjoyable.

Solid 4 Stars - great album that I've listened to several times before. There's something about it that may not completely click with me, which is why I haven't given it 5 stars.

Prefer the later albums, rougher round the edges than I remember. But a sign of good things to come.

I think I had too much hype going into this album and my unfairly high expectations weren't meant. Still, a great album and Wake Up deserves all the plays it gets.

I do actually like multiple songs on this album. I enjoy it and admit my normalcore tastes sometimes

There is a possibility that I've listened to this album before. Arcade Fire is a band that I wonder why I don't like more. I admire a lot about their musicianship, and what they've done. I just haven't caught that sense of "oh, I need to hear some AF right now". The album is good. "Rebellion (Lies)" is my favorite. There weren't any tracks that I didn't like. This album probably squeaks in to the category of "I'd listen again"

This album was good. Right up my alley. Their hit, Wake Up? Way good. Except the end was part I’d never heard before and I didn’t like the end of that song as much as the beginning.

Better than I thought given that I'm not a huge fan of the singer's voice. Also possibly because one of their famous songs (Wake Up) seems to be my least fav so far.

Really accomplished debut. Although I'm not a die-hard AF fan like most of my peers, I really enjoy them, their fun, great live, as is this album. I know most of this album despite never owning it, they are simply so pervasive. Love the rich instrumentation, driving rhythms, big dynamic variations. The most folky/americana style songs are less my style (Kettles). It's hard to judge this album without the hindsight of knowing the phenomenon they would become. It certainly is a stand-out amongst the proliferation of long forgotten 00s indie bands. Shorter Album, enjoyed the vibe. Very spacious and full of feeling. Most likely has an external cause that drove the album to be made the way it is. Moves like a story.

This album came out when I was a sophomore in college so I remember it vividly. I had one roommate who was kind of a dick and he really liked it so it soured parts for me at the time. Regardless there is a nice theme going throughout this of growing up and forgetting your humanness, which as I get older I think about more and more. Wake Up was so overplayed that I can't listen to it much anymore, but the other tracks are still great. Not something I'd always listen to but was a nice thing to come back to.

At first it was fine but didn't stand out. Listening again, though, I like it more.

My revisit to this record made me like it waaaaaay more than I used to. I do really like some Arcade Fire songs but I never loved the band. I’m gonna revisit more of their older records.

Modern classic and wake up is legend. Hell of a first album.

So I guess Arcade Fire is art rock/indie rock, which explains why I like this album so much so far. It's exactly my vibe. I don't know if it's objectively amazing but subjectively, I like it very much.

Wow what a nostalgic start to this whole thing. I remember listening to this on my green ipod mini in my year 8 classroom. Shame the guy turned out a dick but also what an era for collage style album covers. I kind of want to use this as a diary but I don't know how to write anymore! This feels like the Wes Anderson movie of music, heavy on the twee but I still vibe with a lot of it. Hard to separate from my teenage self though.

was never all that hot on this despite being heavily into the pitchfork-core of the era growing up. still sounds a bit staid in its grandiosity, and often made me wish i was listening to a different band, but there are some affecting songs here and besides Wake Up i enjoy everything on here in a passive sort of way

Samma sound med ett malande komp, men inte samma klass som Neon bible vi tidigare haft. Saknar låtar som riktigt griper tag. Svag trea.

I liked the instrumentals. CLASH was the word i would use with strong rumbling rolling sounds. I didnt love the vocals with a drawn twingy pitch that made words difficult to understand, but felt like it suited the album.

Up and down here. Wake Up is awesome, and has been on my playlists for a long time, as well as Neighborhood #3 (Power Out), but the rest of the album struggles to ascent to such heights. I can't decide if it's the overwhelming choiriness at times, or perhaps some lackluster delivery that holds it back.

i went through phases with this album. first, it was cool to like Arcade Fire, then it was cool to hate Arcade Fire, then it was cool to like them again. I listened to this album again when we drew it for the first time in probably ten to fifteen years and found it mostly okay with a couple of standout tracks. i dunno that i'd revisit it again by choice, but i don't hate it so it's probably a high three. it's one of the "big" albums that reminds me of the phase of my life where i jumped on the train called "i hate this band because they're popular"

Definitely some bangers here, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I remembered. I found many of the songs to be very messy from an Audio perspective, like I couldn’t tell what was going on until the instrumentals cleared up. 3.5

I think this is the least enjoyable Arcade Fire album, mostly because of Butler's voice (I'm glad it changed in later albums). There are still some stunning moments across the album.

This just used to do a whole lot more for me. I think Arcade Fire might just have to be one of those bands I totally lose touch with.

Aside from the songs I knew and enjoy, Wake Up and Rebellion (Lies), this is a pretty average listen. Most of it seems to go nowhere and doesn't really appeal to me. I'll give it a 3 purely for the two tracks above, otherwise it's a 2.5.

Another guitar band that should be right up my alley and they were good but didn’t set me alight wanting more. Will give another album a go.

Favourite Songs: Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)

Na pewno jestem ucieszona z faktu tego, że mogłam odkryć ten album. Niestety kojarzył mi się on z latem 2024 roku, filmem "500 days of Summer". Jego muzyka na pewno mogłaby zagościć w tej produkcji.

As baroque pop/art rock goes, Funeral, is a top shelf album full of interesting songs that are well produced and well played. This album strikes the balance between Win Butler’s Bowie fetishism and Regine’s artier tendencies. The Neighborhood Suites occupying the first half are essentially a good warmup for the second half where I think the better songs lie. Wake Up, Rebellion (Lies) and the closer In The Backseat are the best songs on a strong record. A little shine has come off the apple as Win’s personal peccadillos have undeniably derailed Arcade Fire tarnishing their image and apparently damaging the partnership between Win and Regine who divorced. Funeral is perhaps the correct word as the allegations go back as far as this record. Still a solid listening experience. 3.5/5.

This is album is fine. Nothing offensive musically, but also nothing that I feel the need to circle back to. Definitely an album.

This is a really good record that I heard a lot at the time of its release, and it still delivers. Unfortunately, it came out that the singer is a likely sex pest and their music never improved, only got worse. So I'll rate this according to the fact that it's their high water mark and maybe the singer wasn't a creep at that point. 3.75*

this band/album has always left me conflicted. i don't love the voice except when i do. i respect (and enjoy) the way the are able to create catharsis but when they slow it down i am left cold.

Not heard this or the band before so another new one ticked off. The first track builds up brilliantly and crescendos all through, a very good song to start off with! Second track isn't quite as good but is pretty decent in that indie rock type of way that the lyrics are decent but the vocal melody is more like being talked at. This indie rock flavour continues through a lot of the album. Good solid drums, nice melodies for the backing instruments and a decent number of various instruments but the vocals let the side down. Crown of Love is a centrepiece and has a great tempo change towards the end which breathes new life into the song and the feeling of the album for a bit. Wake up was equally good. This is a perfectly good album, with some good, if not very good songs but none are quite enough to make it onto my favourites list let alone my 5*s. 3.5 stars for perfectly good... The first two tracks were off to a bad start. Once the tempos slowed down the songs had more room to breathe found its stride.

Theatre School band trying to be highbrow

I can understand the appeal of this. It wasn't bad and I actually saved a couple of tracks from this album. But is this a life changing listen that deserves the hype? Ehh not really. It sounds a bit like Modest Mouse with an orchestra, which sounds way cooler now that I have typed. It's a little theater kid-y to me, but that doesn't ruin the whole thing, just takes me out of it a bit. I saw some people criticizing it for its earnestness, which is stupid. Doing away with earnest music is one of the greatest tragedies of our musical era. But it does walk the Millennial-Burger-Restaurant line a little too close for comfort at times. 3 stars.

Okay album

This was fine. I see the appeal of it to others but only the odd song really tickled my brain.

Pretty typical modern alt-pop-indie rock for the decade.

Even though I liked the material on the second half of the album, this is something that definitely did not meet expectations.

This album really makes evident how different consuming music was back in the day. I’m pretty sure I owned this; I actually don’t like a bulk of the songs on this album. But back when it came out, Arcade Fire was the “it” indie band and as someone really into the music scene of course I had to get it. Aside from Neighborhood #3, Wake Up, and Rebellion, the songs are whiny, grating, and frankly pretty annoying. (3)

Often when I'm listening to Arcade Fire, I find myself actively trying to convince myself that I like Win Butler's voice...so not always the most enjoyable experience. This is definitely a fun listen with several songs already in my rotation prior to today. However, in my opinion, anyone describing this album as "triumphant" is drinking a little bit of AF Kool-Aid. There's definitely a generation of people who go crazy for this band, but that's not me. Favorite tracks: Neighborhood #2 (Laika), Rebellion (Lies)

Bang average 00s indie

not my style but ok

This is the third Arcade Fire album I have had on this list. Again, they're a fine band, but that much seems like overrepresentation. I mean, Gorillaz have got one album, just one! And Arcade Fire have three? Get out of here. I picked Gorillaz as a comparison over other bands because I think they have been operating in the same timeframe, but also compared to Arcade Firem their style has evolved significantly between albums, their presentation and lore is innovative and unusual, and they are, I think, a LOT more popular. I don't even like Gorillaz that much, I just think the editors of this list might actually have brain damage with these choices, or maybe they have a massive bribe from Arcade Fire in their back pockets As expected, I liked this album fine. My guess is it was included for having Wake Up on it, which WOOOAAHHHH-OOOHHHHH-OOOHHH-OOHHH I recognised instantly. But also the album as a whole sounded a lot like the other two albums of theirs I heard, the Suburbs and Neon Bible. I would drop it (or The Suburbs) in a heartbeat for any of Gorillaz' Demon Days, Plastic Beach, or The Mountain. Or, actually, any of a bunch of other albums from significant and influential artists who need to be on this list more. Sorry, Arcade Fire, sometimes this project wears me down and I have to rant a bit. You're doing good.

It was ok

It's well-made music that sounds nice overall, but I dunno if it's totally my vibe. The album has a great midway track in Wake Up (used in probably a thousand movie trailers and soundtracks), but the rest of the album doesn't wow me. I can't give it below a 3, but I struggle to justify giving it a 4.

It is a low bpm album which I like. I feel like this is also an album that needs multiple listens for me to not only like it but also find songs that I like in it. It was nice to listen to but nothing memorable for now Review - 6/10

I quite like a handful of the tracks but I find most of the tremulous vocals grating.

Tried to listen a few time but it just kind of fades into the background. Weird.

Standard indie album to me. Rebellions obviously a banger.

This album is like a FIFA game soundtrack, but the songs that sort of just play in the background, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, they're just no Song 02, Jerk it out, Kids etc. At the 11th hour, this went from a 2 to a 3. 3/5 Top tracks: Haiti, Une Annee Sans Lumiere, Neighbourhood #3, Crown of Love

Arcade Fire still hasn't clicked for me. I do like the main single Wake Up, along with a few other tracks on this and other albums, but I have yet to get into that groove of wanting to turn to their albums. This wasn't the tipping point, and maybe I won't get there.

Not my favorite kind of music cuz it's just so subdued and a little emo.

I thought I knew Arcade Fire but I didn't at all. It's not bad! A little indie pop for me at first but really grew on me.

Thematically dense with beautiful instrumental and lyrical textures. I can tell this is an excellent album that gets better with multiple listens, but for some reason I didn’t connect with it.

Bättre än förra skivan vi hade, men det är fortfarande nåt som inte klickar med Arcade fire. Mycket är återigen objektivt jätteskickligt, bra och välkomponerat men jag kan inte skaka av mig att det trots allt känns en gnutta platt. Det är pretentiöst, forcerat svulstigt och lite bajsnödigt och jag känner inte känslorna de vill att jag ska känna på riktigt. Kanske är det att sångaren är lite för manerad och fjompig och inte riktigt menar det när ”rösten nästan spricker”? Sista låten är fin och är en av några grejer som trots hårda ord bumpar upp det till en generös svag 3a.

Helt klart bättre än förra. Lite kul med arenarock, känns som den försvunnit, men det behövs MER. Finns ingen låt jag tänker: "oj så mäktigt och bra".

This one is kind of all over the place. The high points are high though.
