Reviews (page 6 of 6)

Boooo. I didn’t have to hear this.

mildly subpar build a fire

Generic electronica with some vocals.

I liked the spoken word bits sonically, but they often felt obnoxiously "deep". Like some self-proclaimed old soul waxing poetic about the meaning of life. This seems to be a weird trend in electronic music specifically. The beats are decent.

The sound of the whole album was different than anything I’d heard before, definitely has a unique sound. I didn’t actually enjoy it that much though. 2 stars for originality. It did suck though.

Not my style, but some enjoyable moments. (Uh-huh-uh)

Just not very good. 4/10

I wanted to say that this a flawless album. But it's clearly not. The White Room is disjointed, out of place and confused. But that's half the fun of The KLF. Subversion was always more exciting than playing the game. There are some absolute gems on here. The singles are all five star ratings. They sound better in a club, obvs. But I doubt I will get to experience that again. Build A Fire offers a different, darker narrative. KLF continue to fascinate me. I wish they had continued. But that would have led to disappointment. The myth grows ever more as time passes.

2/5 uneventful

Not my thing

I was pretty bored by this one. But then again, I am not doing drugs in some European club in the 90's

In "The White Room," with bad techno, near frustration... The KLF seemed to have trouble making final decisions. What should we call ourselves? What songs should be on this album? On both occasions, they should have made a decision and stuck to it. On the name front, they would have remained The Timeless. Nothing spectacular, but definitely a step up from the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, and when paired with the single "Doctorin' the Tardis" you've got something potentially more interesting than anything on any version of "The White Room." Though that can be hard to sort, because there are at least four different versions of "The White Room," and they are all pretty different. The version I listened to (the 2021 Director's Cut) opened with the awful "Go To Sleep" before a tolerable stretch of early British acid house. But it is clearly early electronica, and as with other offerings on the list, they sound very dated and not nearly the best the genre has to offer. A lot of the second half of the album gets pretty annoying, and it seems likely that listening to another version of the album wouldn't make it any better. And listening to it after seeing our group's comparisons to Haddaway, C&C Music Factory, and Ace of Base? I totally hear it. And it doesn't help.

I’ve had it up to here with albums that have multiple, significantly different versions. Wikipedia kept talking about What Time Is Love? I kept thinking it was a breakout song from a previous album. No, it’s from The White Room, but not this The White Room. Rather from a different The White Room. I listened to the whole directors cut version not knowing it, somehow, doesn’t have the one song Wikipedia keeps blabbering on about. I listened to What Time Is Love? separately anticipating this great triumph. Nope, it sucks. What am I even listening to anymore? I liked some parts of The White Room (Director’s Cut), namely Madrugada Eterna (Club Mix). For much of the album, I expected Haddaway to break in with “What is love! Baby don’t hurt me!! No more!!!”

"KLF is gonna rock ya" I remember this from 1991, and it's aged like piss...

I really dislike this stuff, but it wasn't atrocious.

KLF were incredibly big at the time through their singles, then they disappeared - pulled their records away from public access - and then, decades later, decided to come back into the same consciousness that already forgot all about them. Anyway, KLF were never an album's band, they were an MTV band. The singles' versions are so much better than the album versions, I don't understand why they even bothered with an album.

Wel oké

Not a big fan.

Primeiro me pareceu como algo do Pet Shop Boys, depois ficou sendo como algum disco das 7 mais da jovem pam.

I know it's not rational, but it bothers me when the Brits pronounce "tacos" like "tack-ohs." Have some g.d. respect. Best track: Church of the KLF

Much like an actual house, house music doesn't age well. "3AM Eternal" grates at any hour, truly. "No More Tears" has just a touch of humanity to it, as does the cut with the slide guitars. That's the only warmth on an otherwise clinical and wildly over-programmed effort, which, despite all its aggressive reaching for excitement, reads pretty damn dull.

Just not really my style.

This is brit trance/electro music. Super repetitive and not very good.

Fun fact: Ainsley Harriott listens to this in the bath.

Oh look more british euro trash shit. Gets one extra star for nostalgia. 2/5

Not really an electronica fan

Mijn broer had deze CD ooit, toen wel veel gedraaid, maar inmiddels moeilijk door te komen.

Stond niet op Spotify en zocht het niet om het elders op te zoeken.

If someone asked me what I thought the 80's were like since I wasn't born, this album is what I feel the 80's was. Just the general vibe and sound. It's just funny to me.

Very bad, strange, and unpleasant. Not sure how anyone could enjoy listening to this.

electronica dance from the early 90's. not my thing

Maybe you had to be there, or maybe you needed drugs. Either way, this was a struggle

tried really hard at the time to like this, as i was neck deep in everything madchester/acid house, etc. but nah. still doesn't quite hit today either.

I no emotional response to this whatsoever. I didn't hate it, I didn't like it, I didn't enjoy it, I wasn't moved, I wasn't made to dance. It was just nothing. A very odd sensation.

Why are there so many albums like this on this list? Massage parlor sounding shit

Every time I thought I was getting into this, it took a cheesy turn.

this is one of those things where you learn about it and youre like well that was a weird blind spot anyway, but then it keeps coming up everywhere for some reason? my understanding of this project is it's a prank on the music industry made with contempt for consumers. that it's itentionally low effort and bad, but apparenly enjoyable (?). i love the klf project conceptually but hated listening to this album so not sure where to rate.

Oh!! shit

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring!

nope... deze werd het niet en zal het ook nooit worden

Bad 90’s dance music or, to be fair, really bad 90’s dance music.

Just ain't my thang

Just listened "stand by the jams" cheto

No me gustó.

couldn’t find the right album to listen to anywhere

The music sounds like the music-on-hold at those 1990's internet service providers that were trying to be "edgy" or perhaps the shitty soundtrack in a women's clothing store in the same time period. And oh those lyrics! "Go to sleep" loops while the music is jackhammering its way into your skull. More like "go fetch me my sledgehammer so I can dispatch this album into 1000 pieces" am I right? I'm a bit too old to have ever gone to a rave, so maybe I just don't get it. And I'm ok with that.

Look, call it my problem if it makes you feel better, but I cannot appreciate most electronic music at all. It all sounds like laser-tag music. I cannot fathom sitting down to listen to this and enjoying it. You do you 1/5

One of the most grating electronica albums I've ever heard. And that's before accounting for the poorly mixed vocal interjections that make the songs even less appealing. Zero redeeming qualities in this album unfortunately; at least it's not over an hour long?

Didn’t listen. Original not available on Spotify

30 seconds was enough (Okay, 10)

So, only the Director's Cut is available on Spotify, and that's what I listened to, but I think that's the intended listen experience, from what I saw? I don't think that this is good, though. I do wish that The KLF stayed together long enough to make The Black Room, that would have been, at minimum, a really interesting listen, I think. I will say that the instrument choices are kind of hilarious, and somehow work??? I wouldn't expect steel guitar to work so well with electronica/acid-house music, but it is probably my favorite part of the album. And I know I say this a lot, but there's only a specific kind of speaking that I like in music, and it's not what's going on in this album. Also, what the hell was that last song??? Is this album interesting? Yes. Is this album funny? Unexpected, but also yes. Is this album good? No, I don't really think so. Favorite Song(s): Build a Fire

Tätä on joskus seiskaluokan keväällä jne tullut kuunneltua paljonkin. Mutta… tämähän on aivan hirveätä sontaa. Ei edes nostalgia-arvoa. Yksi huonoimpia ellei huonoin listalla tähän asti. 1/5

Couldn't find the original version of the album, and i'm all for house and electronic music, but this selection has quite annoying instrumentation, most songs were skips for me.

nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Nahhhh

No thanks

Better than sha-men but unfortunately still electronic music from the 90s

I didn’t like this. I’m not a fan of British dance music.

Electronica is just not for me

I listened to this album earlier today and have already forgotten about it. It isn't bad it just did nothing for me.

This sounds so outdated.

I enjoy electronic music and I enjoy pop music but I don't necessarily like when the two mix. When pop stars go electronic it's cool usually (Bowie) but when electronic artists try to be more pop it leaves me pretty cold. Anyway only little bits of this were appealing. I don't ever need to hear more.

The music is ok but often leans into being annoying. Add in the fact that the group seemingly tried to make this impossible to talk about by releasing several versions of the album with different edits of the tracks and it's like I was destined to hate it.

Electronica... Awesome.... Oh British Electronica... Daring today aren't we....

British (CHECK) Electronic (CHECK) Garbage (CHECK) The (un)holy trinity for 1001 albums. This is a waste of time. If you weren't on the terraces for QPR in 1992, this kind of just sounds like menu music for a hastily thrown together video game from 2001. But if you remember the right tidy rager that night in me mate's garage in Suffolk-upon-Grimsby, then hoo boy you'll love balding to this! To top it all of this pile of dreck has about 60 different versions meaning I may or may not have listened to the record in its entirety. I probably listened to more than I had to which is the greatest tragedy of all. 0 HIGHLIGHTS: Colonialism

Oh dear, The White Room was all too repetitive for me. I could not enjoy it to save my life. I think I heard a unique sound with the electronic/house genres, but you’ll have to find somebody else to confirm that, ‘cause I ain’t listening to it again.

Ok, so I don't even know how to rate this album since I can't listen to it, I clicked on it to listen on Spotify and there was one track on the album, when I clicked it, it was a completely different track which is weird considering the run-time of the album was 63 minutes and this one functioning song was 3 minutes, I couldn't even find the album on their artist page! Do I just rate this a 1? I'm so incredibly confused

not my cup of tea at ALL

Just can’t do it.

As someone who's fairly willing to forgive corniness in older music, this was a step too far for even me. With dated synth pads and stabs accompanied by low effort nonsense vocals, this album is certainly a product of its time and not in a good way. If someone had told me this was a parody of early 90s dance music, I would've believed them. Also these guys apparently burned a MILLION pounds?!? Like just gathered all their money up in a pile and burned it. Wtf was wrong with them?? I understand the sentiment of being against the over commercialization of the music industry, but maybe donate the money to charity or something instead of letting it all go to waste in such a ridiculous fashion. I'm deducting a point just for that. This album is only slightly less stupid than the idea of burning a million quid for no good reason, but still complete shit. 1/5

dont do drugs I was saving my 1 star reviews for the worst of the worst, and this album was going to skate by(because the whiplash made me laugh) until I realized I was only 4 songs in and still had 30 mins of listening time. And that made me mad

Listening to this album felt like a torture strategy the CIA would use on an interrogation victim to get them to ‘fess up to a crime. If a CIA agent is reading this, please credit me for this idea when you inevitably use this album to torture your hostages. In all seriousness, the reason I gave it a one star, which is pretty harsh from me, is because I genuinely think it’s deserved. I couldn’t wait to be finished with this album. I kept checking the time, and after 10 minutes, I swear I would still be suffering through the same song. It was insane. It’s certainly a product of its time and has aged terribly. I’m not that into electronic music in the first place, but I think even if I was, I would not like this. I hope that this is the worst album I will come across, because I don’t know if I can withstand anything that’s much worse.

only 1 song on spotify LOL

Background music to play at the gym for people that don't like to workout.

Dull - the story behind klf has always been infinitely more interesting than the actual music.

You probably had to be there at the time to get this, and I wasn’t. I get that maybe this was groundbreaking and influential at the time, but it feels really dated. Cheesy pop samples with cringe lyrics, this doesn’t do anything for me. Maybe it would have done if I was high off my face at a rave in the early 90s. Favourite track: The White Room

Muzak for the new generation. How can you blend so many up and coming musical styles together in such a boring package. Nothing sticks, the album cover is boring and the cover on streaming services is ever less interesting. It's not revolting to listen to, but being barely noticable noise is all it's really good for.

Who cares

I was going to be generous and give it a 2, but the last song is unforgivable and sent me over the edge.

i dont love electronica

Could only listen to one song of the album and I’m not a fan of that style

Probably the worst electronic album on this whole list. Boring repeated dance music

I was put in a white room for a while

did-not-listen

What a bizarre world I just got a glimpse into. I don't expect to like trance music but I tried earnestly to appreciate this album for what it was worth. I found the music to be overly bland, simple and at times boring. I did a quick read up on the band to see if I was missing something as to why they are heald in high regard. Learning more about their process and some of their publicity stunts in the past only helped sour my take on their music. No disrespect and I'm sure somebody loves these guys but to be they came off as overly arrogant, confused and even a bit delusional , it seems to me their approach values self image and status over the music itself.

The only thing available on streaming is the “Director’s Cut”. I started listening to that, but saw the tracklist was completely different compared to the original, so I wondered how different the original album sounded. I found the full album on YouTube (https://youtu.be/kjqb9_OEySY?si=2pZpIZ561hcnIUeX) and they’re entirely different. Anyways, this isn’t the worst electronica album I’ve heard on this list. It is at least a bit dynamic and varied. There’s even a slow slide guitar break in the middle of the album. That said, it’s still pretty close to the worst. The pulsing bass on several of the tracks literally evokes the same sensation behind my eyes as a migraine. I can’t imagine ever wanting to hear this music outside of a rave and I never want to attend another rave.

Doesn’t exist anymore

Only one song came up when I clicked on the spotify link and honestly that track was enough to safely assume this album gets a 1 star. Sorry not sorry.

How many times can you use the same beat on one album? The answer is 10.

Horrible

this selection almost made 3 good albums in a row... Keep trying Album Generator!

No. 1/10

That 808 drum early 90s German hip hop kinda sound? Not for me.

I'm pretty sure I wrote this album in cakewalk in high school. There's not enough Molly in the world to make me dance to it now

why...??? 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Of the albums based on never made films I’ll take After the Gold Rush.

444/1001 🌕🌗🌑🌑🌑

Apparently this release was an important moment in clubbing electronica history and that the KLF was very self aware and subversive. That said, this was never my scene. It may be good, or not, but it's definitely irrelevant to me. I did listen, so I can die now.

This reinforces how much I dislike electronic music

This genre of music does not appeal to me. That being said, there are, at times, electronic songs that I can dig. This album does not contain any of those types and listening to this became an unpleasant chore.

This the type of electronic music that gives me anxiety.

What the Eurodance trash is this.

It’s not for me. I never liked eurodance

Couldn't listen

Enough with the lousy electronica please for the love of god

< the Beatles "British electronic" is a music phrase I've learned to fear as much as "experimental"

wasn't my bag 30 odd years ago and definitely not today! didn't manage to get past 1st track before I turned it off - sorry but no review!

Not my jive.

Grating, Eurotrash electro better left in the dustbin of history. 1/5

Way too repetitive

Sorry, I can't bear it...

I remember liking how the band/project was retired. And based on that, I expected their music to be a bit more subversive. It couldn't be any farther from it. Incredibly polished, mainstream shite. The kind of music that never had any redeeming value for me, but still blocked the airwaves at the time and got stuck as an earworm in your head.

I really fucking hated this. No exaggeration, this shit is awful.

Not a fan.

This one is lost on me. To my ears it is rather sterile and lifeless. Definitely not my jam…

Another British electronic duo. Another waste of my time. They are consistent, but a consistent turd is still a turd.

Nicht meine Musik

Justified and Ancient, the final track, was really good. Nice, chill beat, simple vocals matching the tone and vibe of the song. The rest I absolutely did not care for. I'm sure it all strikes a chord with some people, but for me, that chord was a really dull open D. Toothless.

Never heard of this band. Initially I thought it was strong start with the synth right off the bat...but I feel like the album was kinda all over the place wise. Didn't love the vocals.

This is horrible. Truly disgusting. It's got nothing to do with music whatsoever. This is not an album (and it isn't even op Spotify). It might work in a club, on a rave or whatever horrible surrounding, but not as an album that you listen to at home. You know what? I even fell asleep while listening the second time. 0 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible.

Not for me. It was boring and just the same thing. It felt like parody. But maybe I just don’t get it.

Okok more 90s techno, I’m interested— not too thrilled by the chill-out sorta aesthetic Apple Music seems to think this embodies, I think the sound has aged really poorly, but it’s worth a shot. Album cover’s kinda crunchy. 1 Oo nonono this has not aged well. Rhythmically unambitious, sonically dated, and the vocals are near pastiche— especially the backups, good lord. The lyrics and the space-age lounge feel has some camp appeal, but this being peers with Aphex Twin’s or Autechre’s early output really contextualizes this for what it is. Of course it fades out. 2 Bass is a little subbier here— Hrm but the percussion does not feel balanced, and there’s echo panned to the right that feels clumsy. Midi sax plus that acidy squelchy synth is kinda fun, they kinda orbit around each-other in a fun way— but I’m distracted by the major IV chords on a default space pad and the hopelessly cheesey lyrics. God those backups are poor choice. Shitty fade-out cop-out. 3 Ok the guitar is a cool piece in this intro, and I really like the synth that kicks in. Drums are a bit neater. This is sounding better! Little less dated! And now there is a man yelling in my right ear. Hm. He’s gone, and there’s a beachy psychedelic electronica track Ieffover, kinda sounds like it could be on a Donkey Kong Country soundtrack or something. (Word to Jammin’ Sam Miller’s remakes of those, they’re so good.) I dunno I prefer this sample to their vocals. The guitar is particularly pleasant. Interested in this sound, hope we get less power pop disguised as club music and more this. 4 Okok the little drop from the vocals into proper techno got me. Short song, but works as a cool interlude. I can accept a fade-out given the limited run-time. 5 Yeah okay, we’re picking this shit up! Way more danceable and goth rather than the schlocky eurodance of the first two songs. Still not my thing, but at least the personality of it is less sugary cereal and more legit weird. Vocals still suck, but I like the little laser gun sound. Bassier too. Yuck okay the self-shoutout over 90s shitty pop chord before the kick blows out the speakers is horrible— but when the 4onthefloor drops back in, I’m back in. Corny vocals (and absolutely nonsensical lyrics) or not, this is dance floor ready, that bass and those phasers are real. “Over and out” is such a silly outro but at least it’s not a fade out. 6 See that whistle tone sounds fucking dreadful at the beginning— I know tech was limited, but taste has to play a part, you have to recognize how artifacted that is. Clipping or not, though, I love this guitar and bass guitar sound. Oo okay vocals are way more interesting and human, less performative— very To Those I Love. The masc vocals, I should clarify, because the fem vocals are totally drab in their ofitstimeness. Goofy little DKC synth is back for this, but the downtempo is nice. It’s whatever man, just an energy I’m not feeling. Just want a song with only the dude with the Irish (Scottish?) accent, that shit’s great. 7 Slow this down by like 20 clicks and you might have an interesting trip hop song. The gibberish lyrics at the beginning are super dumb, sound like placeholders. The artsier lyrics spoken so intimately in that far right pan are cool and play well with the fem vocals. Clarinet is interesting, and the acid melody stabs have aged better than a lot on this record so far. I dunno I appreciate the weirdness I guess. Song doesn’t really go anywhere or build anything, and the nonsense syllables popping back up as the song fades out doesn’t feel cyclical as much as formulaic. 8 Good god hearing this tepid reggae fucking ballad by a bunch of white people ostensibly up their own ass with quasi-spiritual cultural colonialism (if the one size fits all lyrics over this horrid instrumental and like the general themes of the album as a whole are anything to go off of) and seeing this song is 9 fUCking minutes? No thanks. Someone else who reviewed this record on this website said this record doesn’t overstay its welcome? You’re joking, right? Another saying Americans just don’t get it— I promise I’ve done my due diligence, I’ve listened to my Kraftwerks and Chemical Brothers. Take off the nostalgia glasses, and I feel strongly that you’ll see that this hasn’t just aged poorly, it just sucks. Speaking more generally— what in the fuck do these lyrics mean? Not just this song, anywhere? There’s some level past abstraction, and I think it’s just platitudinal. 9 NO dude you do not hear those synths and drums in the year of our lord 2025 and think that’s acceptable! This is the 90s, and I’m listening to a remaster to boot— this sounds inexcusably cheap. Vocals mean and do nothing. I like how the stabs pan between left and right, and there’s some interesting rhythmic layering, as a consequence. I feel like this is 90s electronica for listeners with no good grasp of what electronica contemporaneous to this sounded like. I’m being a prick. But also I truly do believe a good number of music nerds don’t listen to electronic music to the degree they should and so they like subpar shit like this. 10 And for the record, I recognize this as a record— a sound, poetically— that can be emblematic of a time, a scene, maybe a place for the listener. But I promise this isn’t me saying “Old music bad”— I just genuinely and fervently belief this is lazily executed and uninspired. The vocals on this closer track don’t make me miserable (as long as i ignore the toddler babble lyrics about deities and apple carts (word to Death Note). The random swells swooshes, and the excessive reverb, though, do. Who is this for?!?? Dadaism said shit about art. Does this least-common-denominator pop gussied up with acid and house aesthetics say anything about music? Marcel Duchamp wouldn’t chart #1 twice.

Why is British trance and rap so corny

Absolute horseshit. Some of these albums give me the idea they had 500 really good albums and pushed it too far to 1001

Não tem no spotify. Eletronic music. Two stars its more than it deserves. Ambient sounds. Zzzzzzzz

At first I was just meh with the album but as time went on Oh my GOD. we get it, you can’t find more lyrics but oh god just STOP then. Literally infuriating when every single one of their songs has only one lyric.

1 - not on spotify anymore

I just didn't like this. It's cool what they did for the industry and stuff, just not for me.

Almost impossible to find, hard to tell if what I found is the complete album or not. If I'm being honest, not really my thing. I already have a love hate relationship with 90s electronic music, and this album hasn't helped at all.

I agree with their decision to not have this on streaming. It should be wiped from the face of history. Repetitive, generic, trash.

Not on Spotify

For most electronic stuff I just think I don't get it, but I still think it sounds fine. But not this one. This one was bad.

N/A Unavailable to stream

This electronic album didn't resonate with me at all. Perhaps its on this list because the band was pioneers in the genre? It just feels like a lot of things I've heard before.

*Random noises under unnecessary loud bass*

This challenge wants me to suffer.

Was not able to find

Would give it zero stars if I could. Just boring unlistenable trash really.

Quite boring.

Decided that I really don't like this kind of music.

Honestly? I don't get it.

Sounds like a horrible late 80s videogame soundtrack

Not available

Wait, is this not the KLF from the nineties? Like, there are 2 bands who thought up that name? Seriously, this isn’t the “KLF is gonna rock you, yeah yeah, uh huh, uh huh” and then you pretend to call someone from your cordless phone???? If I don’t hear that KLF is gonna rock you song this album will be an utter fail. There is nothing that stands out here, not even the beats. This is like a Mili Vanilli album after they got found out to be fakes. I really have nothing to offer in a review of this, it’s up tempo but it’s bland. If you could pull some inspiration from it then you’re a better person than I am. This is better than a Grimes or FKA Twigs album but it’s also still in the rating class as those as well.

Apparently this is a parody of euro trash pop, but I found it in the sleep sounds category and that fits. Zzzzz

Nope. But I did want to use this time to talk about how good Lucinda Williams is.

The BLAND - The BLAND BLAND. How can you even make house this boring?

For a brief moment one section reminded me of the soundtrack to Spyro the Dragon by Stewart Copeland, so I put that on. Amazing soundtrack; nostalgic, fun and immensely creative. 5/5 Everything The White Room isn’t.

Sounds like somebody made this in their bedroom.

Could have gone the rest of my life never having listened to this and been completely fine. Another album that I'm not sure why it's on this list.

A bit boring

First listen Saved 0/9

another one that just didn’t need to be on the list.

Is this the worst album of all time?

Wow more shitty British music, this time techno. I wish I had the same boner for British music

Så statisk og kedeligt. Alle de bedste samples med nogle stemmer ind over.. Forstår ikke at sangene er så lange men føles som om at de aldrig får en reel afslutning. Ikke essentiel...

Uninspiring Disco from 1991.

det här tycker jag inte är så himla bra

This album is why george washington fought for our freedom from the british

Did not have fun. They can fuck right off. Do they have talent. They might have a very little itty bit of talent. Did not enjoy this. Waah. 1/5

Could not finish.

Album wasn't available

Is this satire? I don't get it.

Ya, no

i got so bored and annoyed at times. no point listening to this in 202X NNN

To me, this sounded more of a compilation of dance songs than an album by one band. I couldn’t really get into it.

I got a headache halfway through this album and it made my mood pissy

Not a fan.

I couldn't finish it.

Ew no.

Not a fan.

This album was spectacularly bad. The last song...I don't even know what that song is...

Not my favorite

Wasn't on spotify..

Inoffensive, but not particularly notable.

Another album not on Spotify!

Meget kedeligt, prog rap over osv, siger mig intet. Måske strengt men er også syg og mopset, og syntes bare ikke det var fedt

Based on what Jake said, as since I'm trying to catch up, I'm okay skipping this shit.

It's bad. Like really bad.

Not for me.

Last Train to Trancentral 1.5/5

This was like if C&C Music Factory and Ace of Base had a child. No thank you.

Nothing dies faster than the cutting edge. Case in point... This is incredibly weak 30 years later, but somehow people are still listening to this... ? The rave is over people. I feel like Ferris Bueller telling you go go home after the movie is over. I can think of very little redeeming qualities of this... maybe the story which made me curious because... well "People's Pyramid ... completed in 3023 followed by a world tour? A fully deleted catalog only to be released on steaming in 2021 except for this album and when I finally find it ... it's THIS?! Supremely disappointed. Granted there's plenty of shitty undiscovered shitty music on 1001 and we can add this to the pile...

Æji þetta var ekki gott. Nú verð ég að hlusta á What time is love nokkrum sinnum til að hreinsa þetta út úr minninu. https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=xMUeAJ1Ot3s&si=NZlJ9MLWWaiYW8lG

Went on a great date with a girl today and I got to talk about the 1001 Album Project, mainly how I was tired of the clear British favoritism towards awful, repetitive albums like this one.

I didn’t like this! Wish these folks the best of luck with their 300-year pyramid construction project though

Tough to find on sreaming platforms

According to the Wikipedia page, this album has some different releases. I'm unsure if I picked the right one. I don't know if I care.
