Barely knew Beck aside from appearances on SNL which did not overly impress. This was a good album. I will listen to more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this album. I like how it kept me on my toes and didn’t stick to one genre. I think he did a little bit of everything well on this project. However, I think it suffered from the Jack of all trades but master of none syndrome. I would’ve liked to see him lock in on one sound and give us a beautiful experience with it. Ultimately, it was still a solid project. Loved the tribute song to Elliott Smith as well.

Some great songs, feels more like a solid pop album which makes it slightly less interesting than earlier albums.

I'm not the biggest fan of Beck. I've listened to this album before, but on previous listens it didn't do much for me. 'E-Pro' is a fun song and a good start to the album. There are multiple times throughout this album where a 'breakdown' occurs that really doesn't excite or interest me. There are more songs on here that I'm enjoying than I thought/remembered, but there are still some songs that I really don't like ('Missing', 'Earthquake Weather', 'Emergency Exit'). Probably won't be listening to this again. 2/5

Ook dit album valt weer een beetje onder beide categorieën. Oerdegelijk, saai. De openingstrack is leuk, de tweede track is een soort karig rapnummer en daarna wordt het saai. Het is net geen hiphop, het is net geen triphop, het is allemaal net niet. Slaapverwekkende country invloeden. Ik zou een 3 kunnen geven, maar ik wil een 2 geven dus dat ga ik doen morgen. Saaiheid.

Not listened to this one all the way through before today, not the best Beck album (Scott Pilgrim vs the World) nor my favorite (also Scott Pilgrim), but it's solid. Added a few track to my various playlists.

Ah, Beck! Love him as you never know what you’re going to get album to album in the best way possible; truly one of the few artists that can authentically jump amongst multiple genres and still keep things cohesive. This one isn’t my fav, but it’s still a winner.

Good, not my thing

Whenever you get Beck, Jack White and the Beastie Boys together how can you go wrong! This album brought back what Beck does best: blend weirdness into wonder! Key tracks: ePro and Go It Alone, though the entire album is repeatably good!

I forgot how consistent and thoroughly good this Beck album is. Some of his albums are a bit disjointed. Arguably, this might be his best album start to finish. Not the highs of Odelay but just straight solid gold alt-indie rock throughout. A few tracks jumped out to me on relistening (Black Tambourine, Go It Alone). Of course, there's the hits too (E-Pro, Que' Onda Guero, Girl, Hell Yes) Please remind this guero to play this album more!

To say this album started off on the wrong foot with me given that it is Beck would be an accurate statement. To say that it was further condemned in my view by being only accessible through YouTube Music for me would be an even more accurate one. On the album: it's the best I've heard from Beck so far...still not great. His musical influence shifts from Radiohead to Gorillaz in this one. On YouTube Music: try creating a worse, more unusable platform than this. Ads after every single song. Buffering only during songs, never during the precious ads! Cannot do a single other thing on the phone while listening besides having the song on the screen. I'm done with it. There has to, HAS TO be a better alternative than this

Beck, to me, is one of those artists that makes music that’s too avant garde for me to understand what’s going on, but not avant garde enough for me not to enjoy it. “Kindness will find you / Children will wander ‘til the end”. What’s this guy talking about? Sounds cool though, right. Unique and original writing as always, vocals and instrumentation work great, and it doesn’t overstay its welcome. 4/5

Go listen to Rossz csillag alatt született by Venetian Snares from the same year. A timeless masterpiece of drill and bass and breakcore. I award this album 1 knife to throats of the editors of this book, just try to give me one more Beck album, just fucking try it! 🔪

не знаю есть очень клевые песни, прям ну очень. оторваться невозможно а есть, которые слушать тяжело и не хочется вайб очень разный внутри альбома. иногда это кайфово, а иногда совсем не понимаешь, зачем эта песня вдруг здесь. я повайбился местами, но Sea Change имхо на порядок сильнее.

В целом, это удобоваримо и забавно местами. Но местами я просто думал что спотифай ушел куда-то далеко Алкоальбом: представьте самый вкусный джин на свете и добавьте туда тоник из пятерочки за 30 рублей

Интересный персонаж этот ваш айБек... Не послушал ещё Sea Changes, надо будет восполнить. Но в целом интересный концепт замешать всякого разного засемплированного. Слайд-гитара правда заебала уже в какой-то момент, но ладно. Ещё с настроением непонятно: то вроде всё хорошо, а то прям от саспенса и мрака сдохнуть хочется. Прикольная работа, не могу правда никак оценку подобрать, потому что сходу не придумывается что-то похожее. Ну пусть будет троечка.

This album has a lot to like. It has a very unique sound and each song is good in its own way. Not really sure what to call this sub genre of rock, but I like it a lot.

Not for me

Beck is one of my top 10 artists, possibly top 5. The creativity, variety, and authenticity of Beck is incredible and hard to beat. And talk about entertaining! This album is full of wild hits, with the first several songs in a row being some of Beck’s all-time bests in my opinion. Lots of fun and variety here. For more zany enjoyment, consider the remix album called “Guerolito” - not quite as good as the originals in most cases but worth anyone’s time. This is a defining album of my youth and I have spent a lot of time listening to Guero over the years. Five stars.

It was great listening to this album again, it has been years and years since I hear the whole thing. My childhood favorite has always been "Girl" and it still holds up. A new stand out is "Rental Car" I think this is the gold standard for weird/experimental albums. Every song is very listenable. I dont have a good reason to go lower so 5 stars

3-4-2024 Earthquake Weather is my favorite so far. Mostly a consistent sound up to this point. This is a nice break to mellow out a bit. Overall, I enjoyed this.

Love me some Beck. This album was one that I didn’t listen to all of the time but has some great beats and classics. Such a unique take on song construction.

This album was so fun. Loved the first 2 songs and really enjoyed listening to it. The back half of the album dragged a bit. Wish I could give it 3.5

I'm not a huge fan of Beck songs when they come on individually, but somehow the album concept works better for me. (Maybe this is why we should listen to more albums.) Really enjoyed the first half.

Eclectic mix of hip hop, slide guitar and perhaps some South American rhythm. Interesting to listen to.

Funky funky funky. I've had a minor level Beck blind spot, and at times, I remembered why, as it's probably a little too (think of another word, nope, I can't) funky. But there are some really great tunes on here, and it's extremely enjoyable, and ultimately, isn't that what it's all about? No idea what any of it means, but I like it.

Beck seems to pick a genre, and do an album in that style. Consequently, I have no idea who Beck is or if he is any good. I assumed this had the Dust Brothers involved somewhere, and indeed it does. Nice Dust Brothers album you have there...be a shame if someone came along and messed it up.

It felt like there was too many in-jokes here. Ha, bloody ha. But not so funny when you're not in on it. I like the bleeps and the general electronic fiddling. It works best when the analogue comes crashing over the digital. He knows how to write a decent riff. But I wanted something a little extra more. There was no knockout punch. I get the impression that Beck recorded this album for himself, and not his audience. This is never a bad thing. But I don't share his personal musical direction.

This one's alright. I don't really know if it needs to be on here since there are apparently other, better Beck albums. On top of that, I don't really know if Beck has had enough of a cultural impact to warrant having 3 albums on here, but sure, I guess. This album isn't bad though. I like the overall sound. The instrumentals are nice. I'm not the biggest fan of Beck's vocals, but they aren't particularly bad or anything. The writing is unique. I guess that's kind of to be expected from the guy whose most popular song starts with the line "In the time of chimpanzees, I was a monkey." That song isn't on this album by the way, or any of the albums of his that are on this list. That's weird, but okay. What stands out to me for this album is the variety in both writing and sound. Some songs are very clearly in the alternative rock field that Beck established himself to be a part of, while others are almost hip-hop like in a way. The writing is also about a variety of things, although many tie into similar themes. Overall, a decent album with some pretty positive aspects. 3/5.

Guero ist für mich bisher ein unbekannte Album gewesen. Von Beck kannte ich vereinzelt Songs, aber er hat es nicht in mein Musikregal geschafft. Beim erstenmal Anhören hat mich das Album nicht sofort erschlossen. Irgendwie doch eingängig, aber dann wieder sperrig. Beim drittenmal (!) fand ich immer mehr Zugang. Die Ballade "Broken Drum" finde ich sehr schön und "E.Pro" ist so das Gegenstück: rockig, punkig, rotzig. Mit Harmonica (?) glänzt "Hell Yes", allein das zeigt die Brandbreite von Beck. Mit diesem Album überzeugt mich der Musiker und schafft den Weg ins Regal.

Every Beck album I listen to I like for 15 mins then I'm done with it. He embodies the too cool for school attitude of the early 00's. Nice sound just can never keep concentration throughout

Guero indeed. Maybe this slapped at the time but it sounds like a cringey mess to me. I generally like albums to feel thematic rather than "a collection of songs" which is what this was to me.

The only Beck album I have ever owned and I wore it out. That said, it's not completely a 5 for me.

A very diverse album, but well crafted. I didn’t love every song, but I loved the range and general vibe. Would definitely check out their other stuff!

I've never listened to Beck and didn't know what to expect. It started poorly for me: I really didn't like E-Pro. I found it easier to listen to Que Onda Guero. Most of the rest was not interesting to me. I did like most of Broken Drum and kind of got into the rhythm of Go It Alone. The final track (Emergency Exit) was my favorite on the album.

Coming in fairly fresh to Beck. I have heard some of the overplayed hits and never was motivated to seek out more. Overall there are some banger funky beats but they are scattered among some mediocre stuff for me. Track Reactions (not comprehensive): 1. Immediate head bop. This is a nice one. 2. Funky and fun. 3. I could see this being popular it is just a bit generic/boring for me. 4-8. Not really a fan. 9. Back to a funky fun feel. 10. Keeping that good momentum going. 11. And we lost it... 12-13. Went out with a bit of a whimper.

Beck is cool, I like Beck. I will not intentionally listen to Beck so there is that.

I liked it ok on my first listen but didn't love it. On my second and third though, I really started to dig it. It's possible after 10 listens or so this could get up to 5 stars but as it is it's sitting at 4. It's a pretty dense record but I found myself more able to enjoy it when I was able to look at the various instruments and personnel on each track.

I love Miskito Vultures but am not otherwise one to seek out Beck. This was pretty good though. I didn’t realize Sea Change came before this, and I like the mixture of a couple of Sea Change-style tunes with what Inusually think of as Beck’s style. Still, the white guy rap thing is pretty tough. 3.5, rounding to 4 because it is a pretty solid effort.

I absolutely love Guero. I've been a fan of this album since high school, so nostalgia is definitely helping there. I used to love the upbeat songs most (E-Pro, Hell Yes, Rental Car, Black Tambourine), these days I love the slow, melancholic songs most (Missing, Earthquake Weather, Broken Drum, Go It Alone). My taste has changed yet this album still delivers.

Fun but didn’t do a lot for me outside of the nostalgia of E-Pro

8.5/10 - 4/5 Such a pioneer. I knew several songs going in, and I like that the album sits in its own lane. Excellent blend of occasionally country-leaning folk and electronic hip hop. The mellower and moody songs didn't bring the album down. They helped set the tone and genre.

Guero: Another great discovery. I’d heard E-Pro before and enjoyed it but never gave this album a listen. It’s consistently strong from top to bottom, a more focussed, less bizarre Midnite Vultures (probably my favourite Beck album). Missing even sounds a lot like Broken Train off that record. Girl is a great piece of twisted pop, Black Tambourine and Go It Alone are minimalist geeky funk. Earthquake Weather reminds me of 3+3 era Isley Bros. The title of Hell Yes is also a fitting review. Reminds me of Talking Heads. The fact that Christina Ricci provides vocals just makes it even better. Scarecrow sounds like him trying to cover Billie Jean and failing wonderfully. Broken Drum (apparently about Elliot Smith) points the way towards the more introspective stuff on Sea Change and Morning Phase. It’s lovely stuff, a tribute that’s sad without being mawkish. It’s amazing how much mileage he can get out of fairly limited ingredients. Crunchy drums, minimalist guitar riff, distorted mics and the odd weird sample - yet it never gets dull. A hair’s breadth from being a five. Right up there with Odelay and Midnite Vultures

Guero Im a bit behind and didn’t get to listen to this in one sitting yesterday. I’m not as familiar with this as the albums either side of it, Sea Change and The Information, and I would also generally default to listening to Odelay or Midnite Vultures when I think about Beck albums. But I should listen to this more - I really did enjoy it. It’s got the diversity and eclecticism you might expect, with a great sound and some super songs Probably not right in that top Beck bracket but a definite 4. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is Beck's "fuck it, you want a largely radio-friendly record from me again? Ok sure, but I'm also gonna keep it way more sonically interesting than my old shit because that's what I do now" album. I am not complaining! This is, as of this writing, my favorite Beck album, and my rating reflects that. This album blends the sometimes cocky, high-energy, goofball vibes of Odelay with Beck's later experimental instruments and sounds that he experimented with in Mutations, Midnite Vultures and Sea Change...and it's a brilliant marriage of auditory goodness that is mostly super upbeat with some somberness mixed in. Not surprising given when it was recorded and the loss Beck experienced in his life (see the note from Wikipedia below). Random observation alert: I was pretty surprised that "Hell Yes" has as few streams on Spotify as it does at the time of this review ("only" 4.5M compared to the two other singles: Girl's 28M and E-Pro's 48M streams) given it was also a single and it's a fun jam. I'm sure one day a random ad will give it new life. "Guero" es cerca de perfecto y muy, muy bueno. Interesting Wikipedia factoids: *Güero (pronounced 'wero') means "blond" in Mexican Spanish, but can also refer to a light-skinned person. *Beck was raised in a prominently Chicano area of Los Angeles. Something I'd hear on the street, walking to school or something, I'd get called a 'Guero'. ... It's just a word that stuck in my head and I wanted to do something with that at some point. ... I ended up, in the end, just kind of doing this almost journalistic kind of look at that whole time." *The title of track 2, "Qué Onda Guero" (or "¿Qué onda, güero?"), is Mexican slang for "what up, whitey? *The album was recorded over a period of nine months, following a year and a half of touring in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. Several other events contributed to the writing of the songs, including the suicide of Beck's friend Elliott Smith and Beck's impending child with wife Marissa Ribisi. The song "Broken Drum" is dedicated to Smith. *"Hell Yes" features spoken contributions from Christina Ricci, who happened to be in the studio at the time of recording...Jack White of the White Stripes plays bass on "Go It Alone". Lots of really great music to be had in here. Feels like the hot summers growing up. Glad to have Beck bring the focus back to his sampling. There's a lot of cool styles that are brought into the album and melded together to form what I think of as his iconic style. Love that it's a group effort from Jack White on bass for Go It Alone to Elliot Smith's death being the inspiration of Broken Drum

Third album by Beck on this list. It was ok. I was not familiar with any of the songs. I do not think I need to listen to it again. I did not hate it, but it was pretty unremarkable.

Salsa mixes with spoken-word Electronica on “Missing”; “Scarecrow” sounds like Radiohead and Gorillaz decided to have a baby; “Black Tambourine” channels the dark, insistent energy of a Curtis Mayfield jam; “Girl” goes for galloping alternative pop layered with haunting Beach Boy harmonies and hand claps. And like every Brian Wilson song ever, Beck’s upbeat musical attitude is in contrast to lyrics shot through with melancholy, with references to distress, alienation, darkness, and mortality. “Something’s coming,” Beck sings on “Earthquake Weather,” but he needn’t have warned us—we already knew to expect something unexpected. He’d trained us for that, he’d prepared the way. On “Guero,” he does not disappoint.

I listened to this album growing up, but haven't put it on for a number of years. My thoughts were about the same - the tracks on the first half of this album are damn-near flawless. Unique, groovy, catchy. But the second half has some pretty mid tracks (scarecrow, farewell ride, rental car, emergency exit). On top of that, the album doesn't have a feeling of cohesion between tracks, other than maybe some slide guitar and sun-kissed guitar giving a "western" feel. I'd probably rate this a 3.5/5, so I'll round up. 4/5.

I dig it. Pretty fun vibes

E-Pro is an energetic opener, nice crunchy guitar sound. Switches gears quickly into breezy rap-rock on track 2, with electronic and world music stylings. Girl starts with bleeps and bloops before breaking into alt rock. Continues to defy genre expectations or easy categorization as the record progresses, winding through folk/country with Emergency Exit. At the very least this is interesting.

Great album

My wife loves Beck. And I have grown to as well. Every time I listen to him, I think that I should listen to him more often; but I don't. I liked this album. It sort of all blended together. I'd listen to it again, but I think the songs are better for like Mix Tapes.

I'm very surprised this landed on a list of influential albums. The production is way too sparse to be of any influence in any genre, and the accompanying vocal melodies far too basic to make this album any good. Finishing it was a pain.

I always enjoy listening to Beck, even if it's not something I might seek.

Started by some hard rock-ish song and I thought « this one not for me » but the more I listened to it the more I liked it’s funky melancholic vibe

This felt like Odelay 2 in a bad way.

Oooo baby what a banger of an album, full of interesting tracks to spruce up an afternoon. Someone cooked up some groovy flows and I'm eatin' them up. 5/5 - "So good I listened to it twice."

Not the best Beck album but there's enough good material to make it a decent listen. I may need to revisit it in the future as it has a chance to grow on me. No denying Beck's creativity but this one falls slightly short compared to previous efforts.

This album is cheerful tour through hell, led by a nonsensical and charismatic narrator—doomsday music I can get behind. I appreciate the eerily poetic lyrics as well as the overarching theme of revenge. Favorite Track: Que Onda Guero Least Favorite:

This is like almost every other indie / alternative artist’s album of this music generation / genre.

Feels like a few different genres all in one album. It's a nice mix.

It's fun but it doesn't really go anywhere in my opinion.

Beck albums are just weird because you can be listening to it then just get to a track that you know so well from something else and are just kind of taken out of the moment trying to remember where you know this song from. This album starts off right away with one such track in "E-pro" which sent me down a rabbit hole to find out it was from a Destiny 2 trailer and also Rock Band 2. A couple of tracks "Girl" does the same thing, which was a Nissan commercial. There just aren't many artists in my regular rotation that I accidentally listen to 50 times without noticing. This should be good but it is also kind of distracting and kind of makes those tracks feel out of place. Favorite track: "E-Pro" 3.5/5

i'm conflicted because on the one hand, a 2000s album on this list is a rare gift, and i do like some of beck's music. and i appreciate that he's got a kitchen-sink style approach to his songs. but a lot of these songs were repetitive and annoying to me, so 3 stars it is!

it was fine. there are some good tracks here but boy is there a lot of filler. i know beck is capable of writing some absolute bangers, but most of the time he just decides not to? i don't even think it's a case of me not "getting it," i think he's just experimenting and it falls flat into something that's not very interesting. maybe I'm just not a beck fan. favorite: e-pro, girl, black tambourine, earthquake weather

I’m surprised how much I enjoyed this record. I’ve largely avoided Beck, I’ve thought his music not to be particularly interesting and I saw him live once but left unamused. Yet, I fondly recognized two tracks from this album (E-Pro and Girl) which I didn’t even realize were Beck songs. My thoughts on him have changed a bit; maybe I’ll explore more.

Aphex Twin's influence on electronic music is such that anyone just picking up this record today in 2023 might not realize how special this album really was in 1992, because everything today sounds like this album. But it sounds that way because Aphex Twin showed the way to getting to this sound. It is not an exaggeration to say that after Kraftwerk, that one of the next huge leaps forward was Aphex Twin.

It's a fun one, some bangers, some wankers

The first half was pretty funky and creative. The second half was basic Beck stuff, which is fine if you’re into that kind of thing.

Hell Yes.

Often referred to as the unofficial sequel to Beck's masterpiece 'Odelay'. 'Guero' doesn't have the same impact and novelty, but it's great hearing Beck and the Dust Brothers working together again. I haven't listened to this album in many years and I forgot how strong it actually is. There are a lot of great songs here and it's a solid album from start to finish.

A solid Beck album with some fun groovy tunes but nothing that sticks in the memory too much - he has quite a few stronger projects in my opinion

I had decided that I didn't like Beck without ever listening to any of the music, and now, after having listened to an album, I can confidently say that I still don't really like Beck...But also, I don't necessarily dislike Beck either.

It was alright. They talked more than anything. Vibe was okay.

A long time I always thought of "Loser" when hearing the name Beck. But in the meantime I realised that there was much more. I like this unusal sound.

This is one of those weird albums where the performer making it knows they can do whatever they want and they have their demand.

Good opening track. Remains interesting and varied touching on a couple genres. A lot of the Blues in here.

There are definitely better beck albums, but definitely his best work after the boring nothingness that sea change was. Girl, black tambourine, and Go it alone are my favorite tracks

Another enjoyable album! Not a huge Beck fan, but this is the closest I have come. There were a few keepers in here towards the end that I liked, Go It Alone and Rental Car.

One of the weaker Beck albums I've heard. The artistry is great as usual, but to me this one lacks focus. Lots of quirky attempts in different directions, and I applaud them, but it doesn't add up to very much. Definitely liked a few songs, but we've had multiple better Beck albums on the list so I'd axe this one. Favorite tracks: E-Pro, Girl, Scarecrow, Rental Car. Album art: Kind of cool picture here, some freaky drawings of a weird guy at a desk, sitting on his own head, whatever else is going on. I like the art style, I don't love that the title is positioned like a sticker covering one of the heads of the guys, disruptive in a way I don't enjoy. But overall, cool. 3/5

I don't listen to Beck albums often but when I do remember just how good they are

This album is a VIBE. Really fun to listen to all the way through, didn’t blow my mind in any particular way but I enjoyed the feeling it evoked a lot.

I enjoy Beck's unique style of rock, these songs are cool.

This is almost a 4. There are a lot of songs on here that sound pretty ahead of their time, like a proto-Tame Impala or Thundercat (especially Earthquake Weather)

There are a bunch of good songs on here but a bunch of real snoozers as well. As much as I want to give it a 4 I just don't think this is Beck's best

Beck - Guero I never really listened to this album by Beck. I was familiar with Mellow Gold and Odelay. So I was happy to see this pop up as my album for day 9. I've been listening to it all morning and I'm loving it! I might even go as far as to say that I think this is my favorite Beck album. I didn't find myself wanting to skip any of the songs at I listened. My favorite being Que' Onda Guero. It's just so fucking good. 5/5

Strong start with an familiar jam. Second song sounds like a more upbeat Gorillaz track - groovy, weird, and creative.

I loved the utilization of a plethora of instruments. The influence from Latin music throughout the album was phenomenal. Truly an amazing record.

It's okay. The entire album feels like a bit too much though, like the noise was just there to be noise rather than with a purpose.

A great one!

I was pleasantly surprised by this album! Although I had heard the song "Girl" before I never knew anything else of this album. It is a very eclectic mix of music. Especially like the song "Missing " I loved the middle Eastern vibe to it! I will definitely be adding this album to my Playlist.

I loved the different sounds showcased on this album. There is a lot of debate on Beck's lyrcial symbolism, whether there is meaning to be discerned or not, and I think that's one of the greatest parts of his music for me. Some songs do seem nonsensical, but then you catch one that is clearly describing a place you could be present in, or a situation you can imagine. Overall, the grunge/alt sound always speaks to me, and this was expertly done.

Lot of potential in the talent that seems wasted. The beats are largely dry and repetitive, and there's little to no inflection or energy in the singing

First song great, lots of variety afterwards, every track seemed different and interesting.

The genre blending of this is rather interesting, and some of the songs are good in the context of its genre. It is not really a thing I gravitate towards, but I do understand why its in this book.

The singles at the front end are all pretty fun, but it loses steam as it continues.

Average: Nothing outstanding here, it sounds a lot like Beck and it is Beck. Good guitar beats and I am really wondering why there are so many of their albums on this list. Average modern rock.

Back when "Guero" came out, I was a little over Beck and felt Guero was re-treading old ground, an "Odelay Part 2." However, I went through his entire discography earlier this year, and I found that I liked Guero much more than I remembered, and, this many years away from it, it does feel like a look back at a different time in alternative radio rock music, music that really doesn't get made, now, not with the same bold audacity and confidence that an artist can be well-paid, well-known, and make something that pushes a little outside of the boundaries of what else is on the top of the charts. Overall, I do not think it is a perfect album, and I still like "Midnite Vultures" more, but I'd put "Guero" right under "Odelay" in a ranking of his discography: 1.) Midnite Vultures 2.) A little bit of everything. Well recorded, well written/composed and well mixed, but just reminds me why I just didn't need more Beck at some point.

An excellent album which invites me to want to hear more. Even the lesser songs are at least interesting despite not being favorites. A solid album that deserves future listens.

I'm not sure what it is about Beck but every single album i've heard from him is just...ok. I don't mind it while it's on, but after it's done there's never a single song I want to repeat, no urge to check out his other stuff or anything. It just kind of happens and that's it.

I cannot find something to hook on with Beck. I often get recommendations but I cannot relate.

I like Beck but I'm not sure this needed to be here. It's fun genre hopping with well performed songs all the way through. Even though I probably wouldn't have put it on this list it sure does smoke a lot of the dreck on this list out of the water.
