Surprised by the mix of different genres well worth a listen
Probably 3 of the best songs to open an album with 👍🏻
One of the greatest albums of all time
Surprisingly good after only ever listening to the hits. Great voice!
Guitar w*#nkery at it’s finest!
Remember buying this album. It brings back floods of memories about first gigs, first loves and a general excitement for life’s journey ahead!
Never really got into Sonic Youth and this hasn’t converted me either but it was ok.
If only there was a little more needless harmonic this would have been a 5 star! Great album from the maestro.
Undoubtedly one of the greatest rock records of all time
5 star all day long maybe even a 6!! He wasn’t known as the king of pop for no reason!!
Had to listen to a you tube version very interesting though
Loved this album when it was released and still sounds great today!
5 Stars all day long!!!
Britpop before it existed!
Great focus music
Maybe a 4.5!
Great focus music
Quintessential 90’s album. I gave it 5 stars isn’t that ironic don’t you think!
Gave it a 3 as this is the most average album I’ve had so far!! Not sure if this was the best of 2018 perhaps that was a bad year!!
Aretha Franklin was sent down from heaven with all the angels voices inside of her!
Probably a 4.5
A 3 but not quite a 4 3.5? Worth a few listens 👍🏻
These songs sound so familiar like they’ve been in every old film score I’ve ever watched!
It’s not only the amazing talents of Amy Winehouse but the brilliant production that makes this record sound both new and fresh plus classic at the same time!
Struggled to get to the end of this one
I genuinely felt a bit bored listening to this!
Great music but a bit long as a stand alone album I did struggle to get through it in a couple of sittings
You can definitely feel Trent’s influence on a lot of the better songs on this album. It doesn’t sound as great as I thought it did back in the day!
Who doesn’t love a bit of CCR!
Didn’t really appreciate in my younger years but can acknowledge this now as a piece of art!
For some reason I’ve always looked at Dexys as a bit of a joke band but this is a really good album and I’m defo diving into their back catalogue!
I would have given a 5 if there was a little bit more music on here JC what a legend
Listened to this album so much back in the late 90s early 2000s that when I saw it pop up, it was the first one I’ve had which I thought I really don’t want to listen to this again! It deserves it’s place in time but for me I don’t need to hear it again I’m done!
Almost every song sounds like the theme tune to Toy Story!
The poor man’s Peter Gabriel
Perfect album to have on whilst cooking Christmas dinner!
Starts as 4/5 ends as a 3/2
Probably a 2.5
Not as bad as the title makes it sound!
Probably a 3.5 but not quite a 4?
Musical masturbating?
