Outstanding southern rock. Really like the feel of “things goin on” reminds me of my favorite zeppelin song “boogie with Stu” with the honky tonk style piano. The north Mississippi hill country blues feel to “Mississippi kid” drew me in As well. Not to mention the huge number of famous hit songs.

I love Sam Cooke’s music, seemed rushed at the beginning of this live performance but it evened out nicely and the grit of the live part of it was endearing
A favorite around Halloween
On first listen I was using EarPods and thought it was almost good but kinda flat. It was not till I drove home and felt the bass cords from the car stereo that I realized there was more to this album

While I really didn’t need to listen to most of the album I was rewarded with the last song “Chauffeur” possibly my favorite song of theirs. I know it is a pivotal album but not really my style and the last song really saved it for me
