Annoyingly cringey

Sledgehammer was played everywhere. All the time. The video was played everywhere. All the time. Sledgehammer, indeed. Don't Give Up stopped me from giving up, and to this I pin one star. Annoying voice (wasp in a jam jar) and just clunky nonsense, really. Terrible lyrics! Let there be no doubt about it ...

That was really bad. I can't comprehend how this can be considered one of the greatest albums. It's not musically profound in any way, just dreary and strange.

Too eighties

I wish I could say this was so so. Instead, I got one of the most agonizing albums I've ever heard. I suppose art is supposed to make one feel things. I felt pure rage and hatred towards the hack known as Peter Gabriel. Fuck him and his "music"

Couldn't make it through "Don't Give Up". Scratch that. I couldn't make it through MOST of the songs. Found the album to be incredibly boring. Even the "hits".

So... I did in fact gave up on this album after 3 tracks.

I just don't understand the appeal at all. The voice isn't particularly good or interesting, the production is typical 80s trash, the songs aren't fun to listen to, it's not really dance-able. There's nothing to like.

Välillä tulee mieleen Kirka, ja jos olisi enemmän Kirkaa, olisi parempi. Todella mitäänsanomatonta. Toisaalta helppo jättää taustalle ja olla kuuntelematta, jopa kuulokkeilla.

Kate Bushin markkinoima Don't Give Up, tylsin kappale mitä olen koskaan kuullut, olisi ollut symbolisesti hyvä paikka lopettaa. Kokeilin vielä seuraavaa. Ei tässä reiluudesta olekaan kysymys.

Awful mid-80s pap that has definitely not stood the test of the years passing; which is a little a disappointing because I quite liked it at the time. Sounds too much like Genesis.
