[[Living Room / Speakers ]] This felt like the beginning of the turn towards 'generic' indie rock anthems for them when I listened to them as a 19 year old. Today it fills me with a warm nostalgia. I don't take off points for the shallow lyricism and the one-note instrumentation on this one. Crazy that Will Butler was the one with a career that ended up having legs.

+/- Indiscernable vocals mask cringeworthy lyrics + Great energy/pacing + On a -6 degree day I'd take this over The Strokes - Their turn to more radio friendly hits means this is probably the last KoL release I'll listen to
