One of my favorite St Stepen renditions.
Repetitive and boring.

All Ratings
Easy listening. Clear vocals. Progressive folk sound. Kind of a cross between Grateful Dead and String Cheese Incident. Worth vinyl purchase.
If you like cool jazz, jazz fusion, nobody does it better than Miles Davis. Perfect early evening listening music.
Talking Heads always deliver interesting rhythm, this album is no exception. Very creative but at times monotonous.
For Led Zeppelin this album is a switch from the heavy R&B sound to a more acoustic set. Nevertheless, it's still classic Zeppelin. Great lyrics, vocals, and acoustical guitar work.
Easy listening. A progressive jazz-rock fusion with one very folk rock song, 'John Barleycorn Must Die'.
The one and only Queen of Soul fully on display. This album just can't be beat.
I never heard of this group and based on what I read before listening didn't think this was going to take long. What a surprise, I really enjoyed it. Each song was unique. The only song I could pass on was "Don't", but even that noisy song had some appeal.
One of my favorite St Stepen renditions.
Poems set to music. Unique harmonies that scream classic CSN.
It's the music that saved us from "big hair bands". Raw at times but nonetheless great grunge. Worth it.
Dated, yes. Boring and sophomoric in nature. Kraftwerk, a German group had it right two decades earlier.
Kind of a surprise like. Definitely has that British pop sound. The lead vocal can at times sound monotonous.
I don't think there is a better Elton John album out there. A masterpiece.
Ho-hum. Monotonous sound.
Love the live sound. Spirited, full of life. Truly the Godfather of Soul.
A clear commentary on the late 1960's. Kind of a forced collection of songs to reflect on social and environmental issues. Not the cheery songs one would expect from the Beach Boys. Even the album cover is a downer.
Great hip-hop. Enjoyed.
A little repetitious for my liking. Makes good background music.
Kind of a cross between big band sound and jazz.
Good background music.
Little rough sounding but good heavy blues sound.
Heard of the album but never listened to any of the songs until now. What a surprise. I really enjoyed it, all 69 of them.
This album has a lot to say in a very monotonous rap.
If you enjoy ever other word being f**ker, motherf**ker, or nigger, then this album is for you. Not me.
Marvin Gaye has a beautiful voice and this album truly highlights it. Easy to listen, enjoyable from beginning to end.
Easy listening. Enjoyable.
Great story teller through song.
A hidden gem.
Easy enjoyable listening
Went into this knowing I would hate the album. Came away tapping my foot. Not too bad.
This album is loaded, a must have.
I'm not a fan of rap but I have to say this album did connect. Most rap are words spoken (or some verbal means) with plenty of profanity to a beat. This album had all that but also had musical sense.
Probably one of their best albums.
This album has a good sound, well composed, very easy to listen too. First time really sitting down to listen their music.
What a beautiful voice!
Classic Zep
Music is driven, rhythm is compelling, but the vocals make it impossible to listen.
Wow! Heard of this group but never really listened to them. Well composed, intersting to listen to. The orchestra really fills out the sound. This one goes on my buy list.
Beautiful. The only way you can describe this album. The human voice fully on display. I can listen to this all day and never tire of it.
What can you say, it's Led Zeppelin.
Repetitive song structure and piercing vocals (high pitch harmonizing) make it difficult to listen to more than one song.
Sounds like a collectin of guys playing in their garage. Vocals are monotonous and at times boring.
Enjoable, easy to listen to.
Good band, but Thom Yorke's whinny voice sometimes can get the better of you. House of Cards is a keeper.
A classic!
A mix of songs, some a little noisy. Broken Drum is a very powerful haunting song.
Brilliant
This album was my first introduction to Queen in 1974. It was powerful then as it still is today.
Every song sounded the same.
Hard to listen to. Very limited vocabulary that mostly includes variations of fuck and nigger. Does have a beat.
Not from my era, but fun.
Can't miss with this album!
I find Donald Fagen's music boring, it all just blends together.
The music and beat is great. But...the lyrics, inexcusable.
Really? This made it to 1001 Albums? This is like comparing cave art to the french impressionists, it cant be done. This group/album is a joke. Can anyone make out a word, any word in any piece. This would get zero stars if it were a choice.
Too repetitive to enjoy, the music becomes that annoying mosquito buzzing around your head.
What a voice.
Repetitive and boring.
Classic Rock & Roll blues voice of Janis Joplin. A must have album in your collection.
Such an innovative group.
I never heard of this band, such a cool sound. Most of their tracks have a psychedelic overtone to them. This album makes the "add to collection" list.
This was a surprise. The intimate, straight forward acoustic set was easy to listen to. Did not know John Martyn was the songwriter to 'May You Never' so dearly covered by Eric Clapton.
How is this called music? Itsári and Caynon Jam were the only pieces that were interesting (basically the guy with a bad hemorrhoid wasn't attempting to sing).
Not real inspiring music, boring. The sound seems muted, flat sounding.
This album is priceless. A remarkable voice.
A bunch of noise.
It sounds like my son's band from when they were in junior high school.
Another garage band that can carry a beat, but that's about it.
Ho-hum melodies
Annoying music.
Raunchy but good.
Every cut sounds the same.
The first disc was boring, filled with a bunch of sample loops. The second disc is much more interesting.
Good overall sound. Can't say I heard of this group but really enjoyed all of the tracks.
Every track is the same, distorted. The lead vocal helps keep the band together. The sound does grow on you.
Enjoyed this one. Definitely a sound that came out of Britain in the 90s. Well put together.
Simply the best album of all.
Good sound but it gets boring after the first 2 to 3 tracks.
Musically solid. Good groove.
Incredible musicianship and talent. Enjoyed from beginning to end.
Many memorable songs on this album. Truly a great album.
The precision of their music is like at times listening to a metronome. Then comes the lead vocal who I'm sure doesn't know what he is saying. It's too bad that the musicality is spoiled by the lead singer...or more like screamer.
A must have for every vinyl collection.
A compositionally well developed album. This one is for your collection.
The album plays like a vaudeville show. Easy to listen to.
This is the first time I have listened to an entire Arcade Fire album at one sitting, and I can say I enjoyed every track. For not really knowing them, this was an eye-opener. Neighborhood #4 (7 Kettles) very haunting piece but my fav. Putting this one on my add to vinyl collection list.
Shouting, heavy drums/bass lines, and attemped guitar solos sums up this album.
If you enjoy listening to dying cows, this album is for you. Voice pitch is all over the map. Throw in a few medieval flutes and pipes and you now have what makes up the Hangman's Beautiful Daughter.
This is not my type of music, but it is still enjoyable. Sinatra's mellow voice makes it worth a listen.
Too much nonsensical moaning in the music. If you don't believe me, try listening to The Roof (Back In Time).
Kinda boring music. Tries to be upbeat but misses the mark. There is little variation in style between tracks, so the music tends to run together.
Mellow but enjoyable.
This album can be summed up as one big relaxing groove.
The lead vocal has an annoying, whiny voice. I get the avant-garde riff but it would be nice to know if he can really carry a note without whining.
Such a unique voice. This album is truly a classic.
I know this was a breakout album for Winwood, but it's still boring music.
Just not my thing. Get rid of the lead vocalist/screamer and you have something. Gehanna and Snuff were the only two songs worth listening to, rest is nonsensical screaming.
I find Nick Drake a very boring musician with talent.
A lot of music packed into each song.
Wow, this one was fun. You certainly get caught up in the Irish jig.
Interesting.
This one is a winner. Really enjoyed the fusion of eastern sitar with western rock & roll.
Lead singer could use some voice lessons. Every song sounds the same.
A masterpiece.
Reminds me of a little kid trying to sing.
What can you say, it's classic Zeppelin.
Too much moaning on the album. Bascially a boring sound.
Very boring. Random noise condensed into a single album.
Boring, repetitious, monotonous, need I say more?
This album has a real ethereal vibe. One of my favorites. Totally classic Byrd groove.
