I liked a couple songs a lot and several just a bit. Feels like an album I would like more with additional listens
Solid album, with classic songs and some filler middle
Funky!
Good synth and bass, solid album but not overly my style.
Oh Jr high nostalgia- this album was miserable to re-listen to
A tried and true classic.
If we were playing “Family Feud” and you asked 100 people to name an album on the list - 96 people would have voted for this one.
Me: mom can we have Prince? Mom: no, we have Prince at home At home: this album. It’s so formulaic and try-hard, it’s almost a skit. But don’t worry Lenny, I’m sure someday “up” and “help” will rhyme (Mr Cab Driver).
My issue with this album was that it’s basically all covers. I like the songs, but it’s not their music and it’s just being done with a more stripped back feel. I can totally see the influence here for future punk bands, but it’s hard to balance
